I'm new in town and would definitely recommend this establishment for the food and atmosphere. Especially because of the service provided by Alicia behind the bar. She held sharp attention to detail and knew to check on us before we needed to ask. She is also an all around delightful person to be around. 10/10 would recommend to any new person considering stopping by for good food and vibes.

Rocelin was an amazing server for my first time there! As a lady I felt so comfortable and welcome. She was super personable, brought food out at a reasonable pace and made great conversation. I look forward to visiting again! (Visiting Texas from Michigan)

This place is a very happy and energetic. The view is fantastic. All the girls are beautiful and friendly. If you want to be left alone and just enjoy the view.. you can do that too. My waitress Alaina was quiet and friendly. She made my time here very pleasant.

I highly recommend this place. The food is excellent and the service is awesome. The bartender Victoria “V” is top notch, good energy and great personality. I wasn’t sure what to order and she recommended and made me a custom cocktail that hit the spot.

I had a great time at Ojos Locos Southwest. The atmosphere was fun and the service was even better. Paola, Dailey, Lisbeth, and Dailin are honestly some of the best bartenders there. They were super friendly, quick with the drinks, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and enjoyable. You can tell they really know what they’re doing behind the bar and they keep the energy up the whole time. Definitely one of the reasons the place feels so lively. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Daniela was our server and she was absolutely on point. Super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out exactly as ordered. You can tell she actually cares about providing great service. She checked in at the right times without being overbearing and kept a great attitude the whole time. Easily one of the best service experiences I’ve had—ask for Keily if you come here.

We had such a great experience and our waitress Mafer made it even better! She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and had such a warm personality that made us feel comfortable right away. She checked on us at the perfect times, made sure our drinks were always full, and her recommendations were spot-on. You can truly tell she cares about her customers and enjoys what she does. Had to leave a review for Ojos Locos because today’s visit was top tier 🔥 The wings were PERFECT crispy, sauced right, and came out hot every time. Service was fast and they kept checking on me without me even having to ask. You can tell they actually care about the experience, not just the food. Ok soooo …. Let me start with….January 18 2025 Texans vs KC… I saw the most beautiful woman standing by the bar At Ojos Locos SW….I wasn’t going to attend that night but I went in support of my friend. How it began “mam is this seat taken?” Her response was “no just don’t be weird” Turns out Ojos is a safe zone to wind down, listen to awesome music, watch games, and have great beverages. Eduardo has kept Ojos and their patrons safe. Kudos to him for keeping the weirdos away and staying vigilant. I love the service and ambiance Ojos locos provides. The waitresses and bartenders are friendly and provide prompt service. The bus personnel keeps Ojos Locos clean and tidy. They all go above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. Back to my story. I met the love of my life there. The most beautiful woman I saw there by the bar… well she is now my fiancé. Thank you Dailin for always taking care of us when we go. We always look for her and her expertise for making recommendations on food and drinks. It’s never a disappointment when I’m with my new Fiancé or when I’m solo knowing we will always be taken care of. My favorite is the avocado burger and the Dailin special is to die for, buffalo garlic parmesan wings. All flats. Thank you Ojos, we now have a set date for our wedding !!!!!!

Great place for a quick meal and a taco de ojo 😉 This time, I could not have a beer and had to order a salad (not their forte, unfortunately). Daynis made my evening dinner amazing. She is sweet, caring, efficient, and carries a food conversation and handles so many tables with a natural talent. And even so, she was training Betzy, and she is also a great waitress. Came to sit at the bar with Dailin behind the bar alone making drinks non stop she is a very hard worker and provides excellent services under so much pressure with orders coming by herself. As far as atmosphere this one was the most depressing one I've visited. No smiles, no laughter no interaction I looked around a few times and everyone seems sad. Totally different vibe from the other locations I have visited.

I just stopped here with a friend. She offered boneless buffalo wings and fries and I ordered the Mexican tacos with rice and beans. She got a sprite and I got a sweet tea. All of the food and the drinks were great and on point with no complaints. Our waitress was nice and cute. I think her name was Kylie or something like that. The place had good music the was fitting with the atmosphere so the vibes were great. Our total together was $30.

Ojos has always been a good place to hang out, i like to go there for the environment. I recently went and definitely had terrible service by the bartender, i went to sit down, she asked for my ID, i gave it when i asked for a drink, once my partner came it was the same thing, the only thing is that he ordered 2 drinks. which in total was going to be 3 drinks, apparently we can’t order ahead for other people, which is understandable. I definitely did not like the attitude she had, she said “yall can’t do that” and kept saying it, well i’m like “well what exactly can’t we do?” and she explained the drink process, the person has to be there to order their drink. okay, understandable, but instead of de-escalating it, she went to her manager and asked him to personally kick us out. literally the worst way to handle something, she could’ve just said “i can give you guys your drink and wait for the other person” that’s all. and it was very disappointing how the manager said to my partner “you were smoking when you were coming in” and he was not, he said he was as intoxicated, and when he showered no signs of being incompetent. To me it personally felt like he just goes by what the bartender just says, instead of understanding both sides. The bartender and manager made my experience very horrible that night. It was sad, because it’s supposed to be a good time there and they just made it bad.

I called over the phone to place an order (my only language is English), and the lady who picked up the phone spoke only Spanish (I’m assuming). I go ahead and try to place my order anyway and the lady on the other end of the phone started mocking me and making fun of me because of the language barrier, eventually just hanging up on me. I try to call in a second time and the same thing happened again. I was already in the parking lot trying to place an order to go from my car because it was pouring down rain, so I had to walk the whole parking lot 4 times just to get an order in without being humiliated and made fun of infront of my face. Got my food which was great but the experience I had to encounter during this order placing time seemed racist and biased. If you can’t speak Spanish I’d advise you not to go to this location.

I don’t even know where to start…I’m from FL and this place has been my favorite since Januaryand I come here every month. Last night I met a guy at the bar that was cool long story short I told him he was getting triple charged when he questioned it the bartender went and told the manager and they said I had to leave. I did nothing wrong I even asked a few people at the bar everyone said I did nothing wrong but I guess for them loosing a regular like him over money was too much. For single men they will get over on you simply bc you’re drinking I will NEVER come to this location again

To: General Manager and Corporate Office Ojos Locos Sports Cantina 9501 Southwest Fwy Houston, TX 77074 Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Discriminatory and Unprofessional Treatment by Staff Dear Management Team, I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and concern regarding an experience I had at your Ojos Locos Sports Cantina location at 9501 Southwest Freeway in Houston, TX As a customer who visited your establishment in good faith and with the expectation of receiving standard hospitality, I was instead met with blatant disrespect, dismissiveness, and what I perceived to be racially motivated behavior from your staff — specifically, two bartenders named Diana and Aaliyah. I arrived during happy hour and took a seat at the bar. After sitting for over ten minutes without being acknowledged, I politely asked Diana for water and menus. Her response was not only unprofessional but aggressively dismissive — she held up her finger with an attitude, gave a condescending expression, and said “Give me a second,” before walking away and never returning. Instead, she sent her co-worker, Aaliyah, to assist — who, unfortunately, was equally unhelpful and disengaged. I then asked Aaliyah if I could speak to a manager. She walked off and informed Diana, who once again did not respond or make any effort to accommodate or address the issue. I was ultimately forced to get up and locate a manager myself. Regrettably, even the manager failed to take any meaningful steps to address my concerns or acknowledge the unacceptable behavior displayed by his team. The conduct I experienced felt targeted, discriminatory, and rooted in racial bias. As an African American customer, it was clear I was not afforded the same respect or service as others present. I do not take such claims lightly, but the behavior of these employees — their tone, body language, and unwillingness to provide basic customer service — was overtly unwelcoming and dismissive. This type of treatment is not only hurtful and unacceptable but also harmful to your brand and reputation. I respectfully urge you to take the necessary disciplinary action and provide comprehensive sensitivity and customer service training to your staff at this location. No one should have to feel unwelcome or disrespected in a space designed for enjoyment and hospitality. I would appreciate a written response outlining what actions will be taken to address this matter.
