Got chili cheese nachos with jalapenos, a small ice cream cone and small coke. THESE WERE THE BEST GD CHILI CHEESE NACHOS I HAVE EVER EATEN (wipes tear)! I thought about standing up and singing the pledge of allegiance it was so good! The staff was solid. The atmosphere is basic 1980's Dairy Queen. So it was good.

I've been coming here for about a year after I moved nearby. Initially I just came for the blizzards, which are always full of mix ins and always delicious. Recently I started trying the food which is also good! Hot and fresh. I think the best thing is the service though. The young ladies that work here are so fast and friendly every time. Especially the one with the long black braid :)

I am picky about my Dairy Queen's. Not all are equal. I judge a DairyQueen by how much "stuff" they put in their Blizzards, how nice the service is, and cleanliness. At other Dairy Queen's, I have had some really terrible Blizzards due to how they have been made... but not at this place. I was just there (3-22-2023) and the owners were working. The tacos were hot and fresh; so good with taco sauce and salt on them. My son had the Oreo Blizzard with extra-extra Oreos. I had the Smores Blizzard with no chocolate pieces and replaced the chocolate pieces with extra marshmallow and graham cracker....SO GOOD. These 2 women were busy and working very hard and fast to serve all the customers. They were not lazy like a lot of fast food workers I have seen before. They were speedy and efficient. Also, they were very nice and courteous, with no smiles from them but because they were so busy. I would visit them many times over. Bathrooms and facility could use some updating. I did not use the bathroom this day, but I have on other visits to wash my hands befoee eating. You are better off just not washing your hands. I don't not recommend going in there.

I only write reviews worthy of 5 - Stars, and Dairy Queen nailed it with the #5 Grilled Chick'n Sandwich combo. The chicken was perfectly grilled. Juicy! The tomatoes we're fresh and sweet(this makes all the difference!). I had forgotten how much I like DQ's fries.... If you like plump(not over fried), soft fries, here ya go. The sweet tea is also good. Just sweet enough to not need anything else. This is an "old school" location. It's old, but well maintained. Restroom cleanliness is always my "make or break" for 5-stars. This DQ location is good at what they do.

I really enjoy going to the location. The service is very good. And the food is cooked on the spot, not warmed under a heat lamp The baskets have very good value. You can't go wrong with the chicken strips, steak strips, or fish strips.

The Oreo blizzards are always a good choice. The entrance into the parking lot is wonky where anyone trying to go through the drive through could potentially be blocking others from entering the lot.

I go here a lot now and love the blizzards and tacos. Great food, service is really good too. The only thing is the building itself is old and needs work to fix. Doesn’t bother me but it just needs a face lift or a store lift to make it brighter and better maintained. The drive thru window gets stuck and I really DQ needs to fix things to make people want to come back! I love the ice cream!

Never had the nachos before from Dair Queen. What a delightful and delicious suprise. Definitely affordable. Great for a quick dinner or a late snack!

Bunch of folks just trying to make it through the day it seems. Place ain't big and has no TVs like thay one at the Mexican mall. Still, did my food right and had souls. So I think that's a good thing.

Drive thru lady seemed to have an attitude as if she didn’t want to be there. Went to the drive thru to get my food, hand bag over but release the bag as if intentional. Luckily had a grip as soon as she did her quick release. Suggest going through the restaurant and avoid the drive thru. Double check ice cream added pic

Very disappointed with the ice cream they changed something in it, the consistency is not the same nor the flavor. The ice cream is to hard and sandy looking. MANAGEMENT/OWNER Please go back to the ingredients you where using before. We would really appreciate it. Sincerely a good paying customer. 😊

Where do you call this a taco salad ? not chips with taco meat. But of course we didn't see this as we got it to go. And yes we paid extra for the meat.

Place is decent and employees are nice. Bad and odd thing is that the women’s restroom doesn’t have a lock but the men’s does. They need to fix this immediately.

Went a week ago to get a treat with my family. Ordered a turtle blizzard and when my order came out it was melted. After asking why this was the case the manager stated the machine was not working properly. (Never offered to get our money back) If that was the case shouldn’t we be given the option to receive a melted blizzard? It was so melted it failed to turn test… I’ve never experience this at any DQ. Not coming back..

My order is usually done anytime income to this Dairy queen. However on Jan 14, I ordered a salad. I ate literally 3 bites and had hair in my mouth. Long black curly hair. I contacted corporate and the said they forwarded this info to the owner since it independently owned. Today is Jan 21 and no one has contacted yet. I don't recommend bc they do not respond to paying customers

ONLY because i couldn't leave negative stars....cold food, order wrong, and waited 20 minutes in the drive thru....shut the WHOLE store down these pictures are less than 10 minutes after leaving the location...won't be back

The other reviews are 100% correct!! Do not come here for ice-cream. I went yesterday bought 2 blizzards and they were super soft, and she said that's how they are supposed to be, but i always go to the location on richey st. And they are always perfect. So 1 of my blizzards came with whip cream the other one didn't. So i paid the exta .49 so the other one could have whip too. Well they didn't put it on there, and when i told the lady with the glasses she rudely said it doesn't come with whip cream, and i said 1 does, and the other one doesnt which is why i paid. Then, she gives me my shake with no whip cream as well! So i tell her doesn't this come with whip cream, and she said yes but we dont pit it on there unless you ask, and you didnt ask. She might need a lesson on customer service, otherwise that's an easy way to loose customers

A waste of over $15. Terrible chicken tenders and fries. Very hard tenders , looked old and tasted old. Fries had a strange taste and texture. All went in the trash. I should have read the reviews. What’s happening to this place?

I went here I ordered used a two dollar coupon on the app they were supposed to give me mom $9.14 change with the coupon and without the coupon $7.14 but the workers only gave her $5.14 they robbed my mom by $4 they don't know how to do math I tried to explain to the worker this but no she was like "actually it's $5.14 your change" and my mom is so nice and shy to confront them I did it's like they didn't even go to school or passed math.

I’ve read was extremely soft and began to melt as soon as it was given to us. When I asked the girl if it was policy to flip the blizzards she said yes but she was scared to because they can fall out! I guess this location or the owners don’t have the flip or free police ! If you can find another location please do so!

The Manager does not only make excuses for their poor service, but allow her employees to serve sour expired fruits in their desserts. When confronted and adviced on the matter she became defensive not only disrespectfully walking away from the commentary but smacking her lips.

After yesterday, I will never go back to this location, the service is ABUNDANTLY, ATROCIOUSLY and HORRENDOUSLY trash. They keep u waiting at the speaker at the drive thru for 20 minutes and then u spend another 30 minutes waiting for your order. I don’t see how this location is still in business because it’s just borderline trash. I know it’s convenient for most people but if you want hot food and blizzards that’s not melted by the time u wait one hundred years to finally get it, PLEASE don’t come here. Just do everyone a favor and shut down this location because at this point, it’s not serving a purpose to anyone

I ordered a number one with a Dr.Pepper freeze. Went to the window and was told "we don't have that". Then the manager said they don't have that. Well I got one a week or so ago there. This is ridiculous. So I left and went to the location on College. It's always a good one. And my freeze is delicious. I shouldn't have given these guys another chance. I have been going to the location in South Houston instead for years because of a previous bad experience here at Winkler. Lesson learned. I'll keep driving the extra miles to go to the College street location from now on!

They don’t allow DoorDash pickup orders. I had to pass this location to get to a much further away one when I didn’t notice DoorDash won’t allow pick up orders there.

Ordered inside take out, from the time that I got my order and get into my car almost melt everything, took me what 10 seconds to hm get into my car I don’t know if the weather or the product, also the place need a serious remodeling…Sorry to said that but is the worst Dairy Queen that I’ve seen, service is good..

I have never been to such a nasty place I stayed to just try the ice cream I should of just gone with my gut 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ The place smelled and looked very dirty and the service sucked and am from out of town I just can’t get over the locals thinking this is a wonderful place for ice cream ohhh yeah if your the right race yes I said it they treat you good. I ordered a SMALL Blizzard and what I got was a mini and it was all watery and had no taste really nasty 🤮

Last night, an incredible act of kindness occurred when the car in front of me paid for my order without any prior request. I only discovered this when I tried to pay at the cashier, who informed me of the kind gesture. It's worth noting that I am an African American with a six-figure income, and I believe this was the universe's way of reciprocating for the good deeds I've done for others. However, when I got home, I realized that my order had been completely changed. I had ordered a triple burger, just the sandwiches, a number 1 meal, and three tacos to satisfy my hungry boys. It seems the restaurant decided to give me a different order, likely thinking it was free for me. My initial order cost around $28, but based on the items I received, it amounted to only about $16. I plan to file a complaint with the restaurant's headquarters regarding this incident. I also noticed another comment from someone suggesting that the owners of this establishment may not treat African Americans fairly, which is concerning. This will be my first NO STAR RATING...STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS...FOOD WAS EXPENSIVE AND AWFUL!!!!! Reporting to Houston Restaurant Association...the menu shows what LOOKS to be a "typical" Taco Salad. What we paid for was lettuce and tomato from the hamburgers thrown in a plastic bowl with stale old chips around it. No beans no sour cream no salsa. I feel violated and betrayed. Forced by Google to select a star rating. IGNORE IT!!!ZERO STAR
