El fin de semana fuimos de Dallas a visitar este restaurante, las quesabirrias y las tortillas hechas a mano estuvieron deliciosas, todo excelente.

Like most piper’s joints, the cantina is great. Good food, family friendly, good service, and a great place for kids to play.

I ordered beef fajitas taco I’m not disappointed the food was good will recommend everyone to stop and get some.

I came to Piper's Cantina through a friend who referred me here. Let me just say, the food is amazing! The staff was super helpful and friendly when it came to making a decision. I am currently on my 3rd visit this month. I highly recommend Piper's Cantina for great mexican food.

Delicious and fresh food with generous portions. Had a fajita steak quesadilla, chips and queso and a mangonada. Food was full of flavor and a value given the quality. This places has better tasting food than the Taco Stand and a patio with hanging chairs and hammocks along with slides for the kids. Highly recommend it. Trying the milanesa torta next time.

Homemade tortillas made fresh to order, flour or corn. Margaritas are fantastic and made with tequila, no wine based margs here. Can’t go wrong with great aesthetics if you’re looking to post pics to the FB, Instagram or any other social media platform. Even better, you can stop by for breakfast and either walk up or go through the drive thru! And if you have time? Feel free to sit outside in one of the swings or step inside and watch the kitchen at work!! I know PHG will do great with this just like they did/do with the others! Can’t wait to go back.

Tortillas are made to order so they are always fresh & warm. The frozen margarita is my favorite but I’ve also had the one on the rocks and it hits the spot too. My husband swears by their quesadillas. There isn’t much inside seating but the patio absolutely makes up for it! They also have a playground for the kiddos. We were so excited for Piper’s Cantina to open and it definitely did not disappoint!

The beef fajita taco at Piper's Cantina is a solid choice. The beef was tender and flavorful, with a nice spicy kick from the green salsa. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, and the tortillas were soft and pliable. Overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable taco.

(Preface: not a lot of indoor seating but a beautiful patio in a side of town that needs the revitalization! ) Stopped by Pipers for lunch and had the Al Pastor Tacos and a chicken taco. $27 for two orders and some Jaritos. The lady working the front was super friendly and came by to ask how we liked everything. It is only a few days old but a needed good spot to eat for the NW side in spring branch. I hope they can stay open and keep serving our community!

I got two flour tortilla chicken tacos with rice and refried beans. Everything was really fresh and really good. The only thing I have a problem with is the refried beans add a texture like they were made in a blender. The flavor was good though. I will definitely be back! They are the star in the middle of a bunch of horrible food options. I work in the middle of a good food desert.

PIPERS ON MANGUM ...I did four stars because initially I had a bad experience this morning I went through the drive-thru I ordered the three Taco lunch plate with rice and beans. My ticket says 11:05 a.m. it only took them about 5 minutes to get my food out. When I got back to my job sat down to eat it was about 11:20. Tortillas were cold the fajita meat was cold. The refried beans smelled and tasted sour spoiled. 🤢. First call I made was at 11:29 to the number listed went straight to voicemail left a message no return call. I only ate1 taco and I said NOPE CAN'T DO IT!!!!So I decided to go after work. WHEN I TELL YOU THIS YOUNG MAN AT THE WINDOW BY THE NAME OF either EDGAR OR MIGUEL ( SHORT TERM MEMORY) HE SHOULD BE A MANAGER HE SAVED THE DAY WITH HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL LISTEN TO MY CONCERNS AND HE EMPHASIZED WITH HIS CUSTOMER AND HE ALSO MADE SUGGESTIONS. IT WAS COMMUNICATIVE WITH HIS MANAGER AND REPLACED MY MEAL THIS TIME IT WAS PIPING HOT. AND I TASTED THE BEANS AS SOON AS I GOT TO THE CAR DELICIOUS. SO EDGAR/MIGUEL THANK YOU!!!!!! 5 starts for SERVICE.

Need better corn

The food is always amazing here but there A/C has been broken and it’s been hard to eat there with these summer heat. Only down side to this place is the AC doesn’t work right now.

Came in hoping to grab breakfast tacos since the website shows that breakfast is served around 6:30. Well, I drive up and turns out the restaurant changed their hours and it now opens at 11am. Pretty disappointing.

I ordered the quesabirria tacos with consommé and 3 chicken fajita tacos through uber eats for here. When I pulled up, I see two people in the inside and one is cleaning a substantial amount of water across the floor, like they were closing. To my surprise, they were open and my food still wasn’t ready though the app said it was. Had me concerned for cleanliness and safety of my food. The quesabirria tacos are like $17, you get three. The birria meat was over cooked, extremely greasy, and burned and the meat that was in the tacos was all fat. It would’ve been tasty had it not been for the above. The chicken fajita tacos are almost $4 and they’re pretty small. The lady also rolled the tacos as if they were a taquito making it look even more unappealing. Even less fulfilling. I then ordered some chips and salsa because the chicken tacos were just not going to be enough for my bf. He said the salsa was not good and too sweet. Chips were decent but it’s just chips. The atmosphere of the outdoor space made me want to try it. The whole concept is nice! But I definitely wouldn’t eat here again

What kind of person gives you elote with a cold scoop of butter, doesn’t drain it, and no chile sauce?

From the brains that brought you the horrific Preslee’s, is their take on Tex-Mex. Not surprisingly, they seemed run so poorly that they’ll be closing as quickly as their burger spot. The food was cold and expensive. It’s clear management cares less about their employees even than their customers.

I really wanted to like this place, because of the playground and relatively cute patio area (this is clearly an old Sonic converted to a quick order taco place). However, these were some of the worst tacos I’ve ever had in Houston. Terrible dry tortillas and plain meat, nothing else on the taco. If this place is going to stay in business the food has to improve significantly as the location is less than ideal with a loud busy street behind it. I’m surprised the owners own Preslees and other restaurants.
