I was in the area and craving pizza. I decided to take a chance on Empire Pizza. Upon entering, I noticed the decor was very fresh. The staff were friendly and greeted me immediately. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza to go. The pizza is legit. The crust is almost perfect. A true NY style crust. The sauce is fresh with real herbs in the sauce. There are even pieces of basill in the sauce. All the ingredients tasted nothing short of amazing. I give the pizza a 7.5/10 which is a pretty hard score to get when it comes to pizza in Texas. My only complaint is that while the crust was cooked to perfection, the cheese and pepperoni could have used more time in the oven. The cheese was not well melted in some areas and the pepperoni could have used some color. I know that when I reheat the leftovers in the air fryer, it's going to be a 10/10. The kids loved the pizza too. A true gem in Houston and very family friendly. I recommend you give them a try!

I love NY style pizza and luckily, it wasn’t such a task to find a place in Houston that gets the pizza just right. I’ve ordered once and the second time, I dined in. Both times, it truly hit the spot. The interiors are New York themed and you definitely transported there. The cheese pizza and their garlic knots are highly recommended! The staff is really friendly and welcoming.

Went here for lunch today randomly after leaving H‑E‑B. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I am from New York myself so I always enjoy a good slice place. I ordered couple cheese slices and a half dozen garlic knots. Their sauce is really good, they must make it in house. All in all I actually really like this place and will return and recommend to others.

I felt like I was in New York. Nothing less than a slice you ever had in New York. It's really amazing. Specially the crust is really the best and was baked to perfection. I liked the margherita slice more than cheese slice. I'm shocked to see such a good pizza place in this city where I'm just traveling. And they have Vodka pizza as medium and large sizes. I couldn't give it 5 stars because that's only for the best pizza. But this place is definitely almost there!

The pizza is delicious which is why I keep coming back. The customer service could improve but is getting better and I appreciate the managers flexibility with the pizza by the slice option. The music is fun and upbeat and the TV’s show a cool scenery set.

I don’t know about this place. I’m not trying to discourage anyone from trying it, but it’s pretty mid. All the TVs(?) were off, and one of the menu screens wasn’t working. That’s just a bad sign. I walked in and the woman working barely said hello. That’s fine. Told her I wanted to try a slice of cheese to go and she said huh? I repeated myself because I know I’m soft spoken, but it just got more awkward. So she asks me, so you want to try one slice? Yeah, just one. I said how are you doing today? What, she says? OK, forget it lol. It wasn’t loud in there, because nothing was on, but somehow she couldn’t hear anything I said. I was the only one in there. All good really. Then she could tell I was kind of weirded out so she said I’ve only been working here for a little while. OK cool. Then she starts talking to her crew member that I didn’t see before. She gives me a bag with the slice, and no napkins underneath. That’s a rookie move for a greasy pizza. The pizza was bland, the sauce was lame, and the cheese was boring. I’ll try it again if I’m ever in the area, but I’m not expecting better. I did go later in the afternoon so I need to try when the pizza is fresh. Still though, the whole vibe is off there. Get those TVs working again. Get that menu fixed. Clean the place up a bit. Make a good pizza! Three stars. Everything about it is mid, but it’s not terrible.

I want to like this place more. The food itself is good. Staff is disengaged when you walk in and the place stinks of standing water, especially after a rain. It's been that way for at least a year, I check in once in awhile to see if it's improved because I do like the pizza.

i don't know if ours was messed up because other reviews praise the food, but it wasn't very good. the crust was kinda burnt with no flavor and the toppings didn't taste like much. it wasn't too far off from tasting like cardboard

I literally walked 30 minutes to get some pizza because it said it was open until 9 on Saturday. It is currently 6:11 over 2 hours before the posted time. The open sign is turned off. Idk if they decided to close early or if they haven’t changed the hours but I think they should solve this issue promptly.

Came in at 7:30 and they claimed they’re closed but the doors are open and the hours say 8:30 pm on Google and 10 pm on Apple map. Do better. Will not be coming back.

2/12/26- Bad decision- lights very dim, thought the facility was closed. Creepy environment, wasn't welcoming I was Hesitant at first but I've come before and it was bright and had a good vibe. Ordered a veggie calzone. Looked horrible, soggy bread underneath, 🤢, one bite and it was horrible. Trashed the whole thing immediately. Very disappointed 😞 should have went to Meek's.

I used to love coming here , even spread the word to my friends, coworkers and family. Will never purchase again, ordered a pizza which I never got because they lost power and refused due to cancelling the order they couldn't complete. Asked to allow the restaurant to fill , never did even up to a week later, even with proof they were out of power. No refund, no compensation, not even a return call or check in.

I ordered a pizza 1 hour 40 minutes ago and never received it. The 2 times I called to check on my order they just say hello, I have to confirm that I’m calling Empire Pizza. They blamed the delivery service they use. It would be nice for them to call me to inform me what’s going on. Whoever trained these employees needs a lesson on how to provide excellent service in answering calls and speaking with customers professionally. I asked for a refund and they asked for my phone number again that I provided to them at payment so they could send me a text of the refund. I haven’t received the text yet on the refund and it’s been 35 minutes. They take my money instantly but can’t refund it as quickly. I guess I will call my credit card company to do a chargeback. Needless to say I won’t be ordering from them anymore.

I wish I could give less than one star for the food poisoning. I went in on Sunday for the first time and purchased a personal supreme pizza. After eating three slices which aren't large I started throwing up and I haven't stopped. For the record I had no other food on my stomach and it was the First and Last time I eat here.

Being a pizza lover I was excited to try this place but I didn't get a chance. I went inside there was only one other customer in the building. I stood in line to place my order. One guy was making pizza and the other was at the oven. No one greeted me and when the guy at the oven did eventually turn around he just looked at me and went back to doing whatever he was doing before. After he was gone at the oven he proceeds to walk to the register only to pick up a ticket and started calling out an order to the other guy. This was the worst service I have ever experienced.
