Took my boys here multiple times, and they love it! I love my Puerto Rican music and food and this place gives me that. The bottle girls are fine, the food is great, the music is always bumping even on a Wednesday. I really love this place especially on a Saturday. It was free to get in when I went on Wednesday and Thursday, but I paid $25 on Saturday. Never was a line, people kind of trickle in and the party starts to come to life. If you’re in downtown Houston and you love Latin Culture with a little Hip-Hop, Fabian’s is the spot.

The Agua fresco watermelon alcohol drink was perfectly balanced! I got it with Titos instead of great goose a definitely a must try. The brisket tacos were my favorite favorite next to the refried and pinto beans. I combined all of it on top and it was so delicious!! Definitely will be returning on Sunday. The music was varied and always right with the rhythm, from the latest hits to classics that made everyone dare to dance. The lighting and sound were perfectly coordinated, which created a unique atmosphere. In addition, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the place was kept clean and well organized throughout the night. I loved everything about from the drinks to the vibe. The security at one point shined a very strong light in my eyes. I also really enjoyed the company at the bar.

We stopped here once because they were playing good music (hip hop). It was a smaller crowd that night because it was Christmas, I believe, but it was still fun. The bartender made good drinks. It was nice enough to go back.

There is a bouncer who is too incompetent to make it to the police force so he is letting it out at a ghetto bar. He flashes a powerful LED light straight into your eyes inducing epilepsy, and when I confronted him about it, he rudely asked us to move away from the bar and not let us order drinks, very disappointed, save your money and go get yourself some drinks elsewhere.

The security kills the vibe with their flashlights shining everywhere. I’ve never been there once without security somehow finding a reason to shine the lights at people’s faces. Can they just use their eyeballs and stand in the back? Security are supposed to blend into the background unless they are needed like they do at any other club. Not to mention it’s a small space, it’s pretty easy supervise without distracting and commenting on what everyone does.

I had to use the restroom at 140am. This latin guy blocked the restroom even tho it said on the sign no restroom after 150am. I. Asked if I can use the restroom. He said no but let 5 girls go. I visited Fabian's Latin Flavors Bar recently and left thoroughly disappointed. The experience fell well short of expectations on multiple fronts. The drinks were mediocre at best. I expected cocktails with some creativity. Instead, the beverages were uninspired, poorly executed, and nothing that justified the prices or the marketing. The music selection was equally underwhelming. The DJ or playlist curator seemed to phone it in with safe, predictable choices that lacked energy or cultural authenticity. There was no cohesive vibe, no attention to building atmosphere, and frankly nothing that made the musical experience memorable or dance-worthy. Given Houston's size and diversity, I'm confident there are far better Latin music venues in the city that actually deliver on atmosphere, quality drinks, and authentic musical curation. Fabian's failed to distinguish itself in any meaningful way. The trip simply wasn't worth it. The entire experience was forgettable, and I have no intention of returning. For anyone seeking an actual Latin nightlife experience with substance, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Unfortunately the atmosphere is not enough for me to go back. I ordered a drink and it was too sweet and they made me walk around to get it replaced. I gave up, I just left the drink and walked away. In case you are wondering, I didn’t order a sweet drink it just wasn’t done properly. The food is alright, what’s really good is the music but they don’t care enough about customer service. Honestly, the place is too busy for them to care. If you wanna dance Latin music, this is the place to go. For everything else, there are other better places out there.
