One of my fave dim sum place, it's located in the same plaza as Sushi Miyagi. Spacious parking lot and plenty of tables inside. There's hardly a wait when you come. Service is also friendly and attentive. Same rules, you order what you want by marking the paper menu. Usually the food comes out pretty fast. Menu has your usual popular dim sum dishes. Crab puffs and dumplings are my favorites. Don't forget to get a pot of hot tea with your dim sum. The menu is also extensive because you can order regular dishes as well. Love the lobsters here. Overall, one of the hot spots to get your dim sum fix.
A simple, no-frills dim sum spot in Bellaire. It’s nothing fancy, but the food is great. The service is super fast, not the friendliest, but that’s typical for traditional places like this. Portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. I stop by every time I’m in Houston. They also have plenty of vegetarian options, which is a nice and uncommon for dim sum. Definitely recommend!
My boyfriend and I came here on Easter, we had a great time! There was a bit of a rush so we had to wait a bit to get all our food. Worth the wait, though! Everything tasted warm and fresh. The BBQ pork buns, both steamed and baked, were delicious! My boyfriend also enjoyed the Chicken Feet and Shrimp Rice Roll. I also tried their Pan Fried Pork dumplings, they were wonderful!
I always order the house special pad Thai noodles. It’s delicious and wholesome. The dumplings and the desserts are delicious as well. If you like dumplings then you’d be spoiled for choices here. The service is sharp and the waitresses are courteous. The restaurant seems a bit dated, if this does not matter to you then you will have a wonderful experience of enjoying the food here. My suggestion to the owners would be to get some more Ventilation in place and play some local music in the background and maybe even add some local fragrance. You may be surprised with what this does.
So, me and my girl's family meant up here for my future niece's birthday dinner, which I have a feeling has nothing to do with her. Once you're seated, you give the server all you want to order, and it comes out, and they place it on the center of the table, where it turns. So everyone can get something off the table, I love that. The whole dinner I had a variety of food I'm not used to, but open too. So I really can't tell you what I ordered. But the food was really good. Some were a surprise to me. Service was good. This was definitely an experience I won't forget.

Stopped in 6/5/23 just after 1pm. The place doesn't look like much from outside but the food they're putting together in the kitchen is really good. Everything came out nice and hot as soon as it was ready. Had lunch with a friend here and it did not disappoint. The menu is extensive so we we will definitely be back for more in the future. The shrimp dim sum was by far my favorite, simple but so good.

Sunday lunch for 2; Food quality great, pretty quick to serve as in what is ready they’ll send out, customer service was minimum to none. No eye contacts, flying by from table after table without reading the customers vibe, that’s from sitting and finishing up your own paper order to fill and wave down someone to make the order to asking for to go boxes to paying out having to wave down anyone to check out. Few tables around me also had to leave their card hand raised up to be acknowledged. “Theres Never a 2nd chance to make a great impression”. Thanks.
Got the beef chow fun with extra sauce it was delicious BUT the service here is quite off and the servers are very entitled when it comes to tips. They give rude looks when they're not given the cash tip they expect (subpar service). Not to mention they take the tips automatically when you pay with card. Food is good but service ruined this place for me.
It’s a bit dark in here, and there was no one else there when we went. The egg custard dim sum was great, noodles were great, but steamed rice rolls were hard to eat. There are no vegetarian options in dim sum. If you are vegetarian, order a vegetarian noodle dish from their main menu and if you’re okay with egg, get the egg custard dim sum, but that’s about it.
This spot may not be the most glamorous or flavorful on the block, but it has a certain charm—especially for those who appreciate a friendly atmosphere. While the dim sum and ambience are pretty average, what really sets this place apart is the personable service; my friend always enjoys chatting with the servers. The standout dish here is the honeycomb tripe, which I highly recommend trying if you’re in the area.
We ordered dim sum. They give you a menu with pictures to help you decide. We ordered too much as it didn't seem like a lot when ordering until you get it. The pork shumi and veggie egg rolls were delicious. The rest was ok except for the chicken mushroom rice dish. The chicken had bones in it so was inedible.

This restaurant ranks among the least hygienic establishments I've visited. The customer service left much to be desired, with staff displaying rudeness and an overall lack of friendliness. We asked for a booster chair, the staff brought it out and literally threw it on the floor for us then walked away. While the food was passable, the dismal condition of the restaurant detracted significantly from the dining experience. Sticky table surfaces, worn-out chairs, and dingy carpeting under dim lighting all contributed to a less-than-pleasant ambiance. It's evident that the establishment could benefit from a renovation and improved staff training to elevate its standards.

Stop going there for over 6 months now because of dirtiest restroom n just imagine inside the kitchen!!! Also family of 4 got charged 20% tips for what? Rude service also
The waitresses tried serving me rotten chicken feet knowingly. When I confronted her she said "oh it's bad?" Before I even said anything and just took the food away. She also tried
I wish I saw the reviews beforehand. As the other reviews mentioned, the place will auto charge you gratitude of 18% for "tip". I came with a party of four. There's nothing to note of the auto charge in the restaurant. The dim sum is slightly better but the auto charge is ridiculous. There's hardly any service provided.
Their Dim Sum is mediocre, and there is a distinct difference in service between different demographics. Felt unwelcome, waitress had a tantrum because I was not pleased with a completely frozen can of soda. I came after the rush and had the privilege of seeing the staff clean the condiment trays on each table in a very unsanitary way.
Been almost 2 years since my family and I ate there. Was very disappointed with quality of the food - the shrimp dumplings were raw and the server was very unpleasant and impatient ( cleared the plates while I was still eating). Very disappointed to say the least. The crowd is noticeably less than before and I hope the owners will something to improve the food quality and service - 18% default tip charge should reflect better service .
Maybe the worst Dim-Sum spot in Houston. It was hard to say what is worse the food or the service. They run the hidden 18% auto tip for everyone. No signs, not at the door or on the menu. Then they leave the receipt as if you still need to tip. The staff sit at a table off to the side, talking on their phones, watching shows on their phone at full volume. Not once did one if them get up to check our table or refill waters. The kitchen staff thumps your food off and you are on your own. The food was simply awful, our group of four couldn't eat half of what was brought out. Save yourself and stomach and avoid this place. AWFUL!
It used to be a good dim sum restaurant. However, it was not a good experience in my last visit. Almost every dish has lots of corn starch: deep fried glutinous pork puff, steam veggie bean curd skin roll, red jelly w chives, steamed bean curd skin roll w oyster sauce and steamed rice roll w beef, all the stuffings have tons corn starch! Nasty!!! Also mandatory 18% tips - when 4 or 5 waitresses were talking out loud near the station - where my table was next to it!
We’ve been coming to this place for a few years and while the food was decent, the service was always kind of iffy (typical and expected for this type of restaurant). Today we came for lunch (4 people). I paid for the bill and when it was time to sign the tip line, I realized they automatically charged 18% gratuity, something they didn’t use to do. When asked, my waitress said they started doing that since people wouldn’t tip (now I wonder why) and any tab above $60, it’s automatically charged 18%. There was no sign or anything posted about this change. She kept trying to tell me that all restaurants do this. I always tip that much anyway but the fact that they do business like that left a bad taste in my mouth. And no, we all know not all businesses do that. So, I guess I’ll be eating somewhere else.
