Honestly, I didn’t expect much from this place especially upon arriving they let us know they didn’t have a lot of drinks and my husband wanted some of the ones he saw. We needed up getting a strawberry lemonade and a watermelon drink with Tajín I loved my drink and my husband liked his as well. The food options were on the meh side and I wasn’t expecting to be surprised but, man when I got my garlic noodles with chicken they were way too yummy! All it needed was a sunny or poached egg and would have been just over the top the noodles were spicy too. My husband got the salt and pepper popcorn chicken and he really liked his dish. Overall, the atmosphere was ok but the music was a bit loud but, no worries I kinda just tried to tune it out. In all I would not mind going back for the spicy garlic noodles!!
Delicious drinks and snacks! The garlic butter salt flavor is the best. The Buffalo sauce is also really good. The only thing I didn't like was that the shrimp was fried with the peel on. I don't eat shrimp peel and peeling off loses the breading. The pina colada was so yummy and Is not too sweet. Popcorn chicken tastes like dark meat which is better than white meat.
Had a great time at Zero Degrees in Houston. The drink I ordered was really good. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. I ordered the Ube Smoothie, it was delicious! My friends also ordered different drinks and everyone had a positive experience. I would reccomened the Ube Smoothie, and the Mangonada.
Clean, small, well laid out location in a plaza. Service was impeccable, precise, and very polite. The gentleman was very welcoming and made use feel very comfortable. We ordered some of the favorite dessert options and were not disappointed by any means. Tasty, succulent, and very filling. We shall be back!
Out of ALL the Zero Degrees locations I’ve visited this has to be the best so far. So I tend to want to bring friends to this location that way they get a better experience. What I like is that the portions are on point! And taste good. They make that mac and cheese look like something out of a commercial. The bobas drinks are also great. The only problem is that it gets super packed sometimes and it’s a bit of a battle to find a place to sit. That said the staff is friendly and polite.
First of all... this place is awesome. I love it eventhough it was my first time. The service was fast and the staff was good as well. I will definitely be back. I ordered the mangonada and the wings box. Both of them were delicious. My friends ordered the elote with cheetos.. it was spicy and good. Great place to relax and eat.
Always always always great customer service here. Gets super busy on weekends, with lines sometimes outside the door. I went on a Thursday and it was pretty empty; just a side note. What’s pictured is Thai tea with boba, hot Cheetos elote, and the wings basket. Edit: went again and got the spicy mango float with tamarind straw 🤤
We tend to order ubereats from here. I really enjoy the split cups they have. Fried chicken plate with rice and corn and fries 3/5 Lemon pp 3/5 Garlic 3/5 Fries 3/5 thin and light. Okay They both taste similar. The lemon pepper just has a bit more zest to it. Crunch is good. Batter is a bit hard. Overall okay to eat. Peach blossom 4/5 Tasty and light Peach tea 5/5 We love this one. On the sweeter side Mango tea 4/5 Light as well. I can't remember if it was this light the last time I had it. Matcha green tea 5/5 tasty Lychee crush 4/5 Good
I've been wanting to stop by here for months now and today I finally got a chance too. The first time I tried, there was a line out the door and I didn't have the time. Fortunately when I got there today there was hardly a line and the food and drinks came out quick. The staff is friendly and more than helpful. I ordered a Mangonada that was absolutely delicious and super refreshing. (Paid an extra $4 for a zero degrees mason jar, for a good pic) I also ordered the hot Cheeto fries as well as the hot Cheetos elote or corn! Both were equally delicious. If you love hot Cheetos you'll love this stuff. Crazy combinations. I'll have to get back to try some of their other food items. I will say that the items don't travel well so I would recommend sitting and eating in the restaurant. I took the leftovers home and they weren't the same. Do yourself a favor and stop by this place on a nice day and get yourself a cold Mangonada.
I pass by here all the time Fridays and weekends always packed so finally got a chance today, Monday. Drinks, delicious. Split cucumber and cherry limeade, was great, fresh and perfect. Watermelon slush was delicious, compared to other places fresh and crisp. Food, elote with hot Cheetos, delicious perfect roast taste. Enough for 2 to share but you won't want to. Popcorn chicken box, salt and pepper was "ew". Chicken was too chewy almost sweet, lots of fat they were not good at all. Fries were thin and crispy with Cajun seasoning, they were very good. Service was ok, she wasn't friendly or rude, just not helpful, I'm sure she could tell when ordering we had never been tjere, she didn't try to explain or suggest or anything just a "c'mon" type tude. Price, pretty pricey most drink about $5, Chicken box was about $14 Would totally come back for the elote, fries and drinks. Seems like i nice hang out just small, can't imagine how packed it must feel on weekend, has a few tables and chairs outside as well.
Went there to try out the restaurant after seeing. a lot of promotions on almost all social media. We ordered Camo Thai and Garlic butter salt fries. Didn’t like the Garlic Butter salt fries. It seems soggy, not crispy and too much salty. Also about the camo tea: it wasn’t great, it was okay. Only good thing about the restaurant is the nice interior.
Zero degrees is originally from California. I've been to the location in LA and the drinks in LA was better than this location. Maybe it's cause the people making it aren't as experience yet. The drinks are good depending on what you get. The concept is interesting and different from other bubble tea places in Houston. The store is clean and has a very hipster look. The wait to get inside to actually order will be a while. It will take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1-2 hours to get inside just to order. Highly suggest waiting until the hype dies down a bit. Even at their location in LA, there was a small line. Zero degrees is known for mango drinks. But when I got it here in Houston, I felt like it was slightly weak. I hope they fix this asap.
Rude employees To start off they are missing most toppings for there drinks, ordered a mangonada (que no tiene nada de mangonada solo el nombre) it tasted like 85% shredded ice and 10% water and the rest was tasteless mango…. Employee kick you out at literally 11:00pm sharp don’t expect them to wait for you a single minute because they will not leave you alone repeating “we closing” “we closing” so irritating.
