After almost a year of hearing and reading about this place today we finally came. The service was just GREAT, Food amazing taste and quality and the place is awesome I can’t imagine how is the ambience when they have jam nights. As a Venezuelan I feel so proud of seeing other Venezuelans working hard and making a place this nice. 100% recommended
This place is amazing. I haven’t had good pizza like this in a very long time. I live 35 minutes away and will drive in a heartbeat for their pizza. Staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s something about that honey sauce in a bottle….magic!!! Buy a bottle of wine with your pizza!!! Amazing
Good things come to those who wait. This is the best way to describe my experience at TGP. On a busy night, you can stand in line for 20+ minutes waiting to order. If you are patient enough to get through the line, the pizza is well worth it. I enjoyed the Cappellone Big Hat which had portabella mushrooms, shallots and sausage. The dough was the star of the show. Really good!
We had a fantastic experience at Gypsy Poet! We came with three children, including two small toddlers, and the staff could not have been more accommodating — they happily helped us put two tables together and made us feel completely welcome. The kids loved watching the pizzas being made, which added to the fun atmosphere. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. We tried the Margherita, Cinque Formaggi, Pepperoni, and Sicilian Journey, and each one was bursting with flavor. The crust was perfect, the toppings were fresh, and the variety of flavors kept everyone happy. They also have a great selection of drinks to go with the food, making it easy to find something for everyone. Overall, a fabulous spot for both families and pizza lovers. Highly recommend!
Solid wood fired pizza. I got the standard margarita and my cousin got the white one without the sausage. We both demolished it lol. Parking was street parking but easy when we went right at opening. I like they gave red chili flakes and Parmesan on the side. It’s pretty small inside and there’s also outside seating. Pretty cool seating options. I will def be back!
This really is unique artisan pizza & it’s delicious😋. I added pepperoni to The Troublemaker & wow😙👌🏼. The one with prosciutto was also amazing & i don’t normally like prosciutto on its own. Really yum on this pizza. The Pepperoni Madness pizza with the hot honey was also a big hit! For me to love a pizza with less toppings than I normally add & for it to still taste so good is really saying something 😌😍
This was the best pizza I've ever eaten. My wife and son and myself shared a loaded "pepperoni madness" pizza, we added onions and ground Italian sausage and poured some hot honey ( slightly spicy and oh so good) on the slices of pie......amazing. We shared two salads, a capresse and a portobello mushroom salad, lots of greens in both and the giant 'shroom was very good. We shared a couple beers, a pancho villa made in Houston which we loved and a stella artois, our son swigged a quart of pelligrino, he's convincing me to like it too. We showed up about 6 pm on a Friday and we were able to walk right in and order and find a parking spot in the Austin Radio lot they share. This is our new favorite pizza spot.
The staff, the atmosphere, the food, the ethos... where to start? It's neighborhood pizza that feels like a destination. A place of genuine community where they are eager for you to enjoy yourself and maybe even express yourself. All the ingredients are fresh and the crust has the perfect amount of "leoparding". I can't wait to go back and try more!
The Gypsy Poet is probably one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Houston, if not THE best. You can really taste the quality and effort they put in to make these pies fresh. I will say, the space inside is a little strange. Some makeshift looking plywood structures, and a staircase thing that is used as seating. The only real downside with this spot is that it can get really busy, and parking on the street is rough. Other than that though, I would absolutely come back in a heartbeat.
I would say this is the best pizza in Houston by a good amount. Is it NYC/NJ quality, probably not, but the ingredients are superb and you can taste the difference between and the middle of the road places in Houston like Luna's, Luigi's Roma's as well as the infamous joke that is Frank's pizza. Inside, good selection of drinks, local IPAS, and inviting decor that is very family-friendly. I do appreciate that. There was also a man who would help clean the tables and get the orders out. His customer service and job attitude were to be applauded. He made us feel welcomed and cared for. My only recommendation and they may do this purposely for cost-efficient reasons, is to offer by-the-slice like any true Pizza joint does. Yall can still charge $4-7.50 a slice depending on type and make money that way, no one cares if you have to heat it up. Spending $40 on a salad, small pizza pie and 2 drinks is the new norm these days, but not sustainable for business long-term... But who knows these days. Good job owner and thank you for bringing respectable pizza to a top 3 food city in America (you would think there would be more)
We had such a beautiful time at this pizza place with my husband and our two little girls. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming — they were especially sweet with our daughters, which meant a lot to us. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, full of flavor and made with care. The atmosphere was cozy and unique, perfect for a relaxed family night out. We left with happy hearts and full bellies. We can’t wait to come back!
The Gypsy Poet is hands-down one of the best places in Houston for pizza. Just a heads-up, this isn't a quick stop—the pizza is made to order, and it's a bit of a wait. You'll want to plan to stay a while and chill. But seriously, the wait is worth it. The pizza is absolutely delicious, and the flavors are incredible. If you're looking for top-notch pizza, this is the place.
Their pizza is amazing!! I love their hot honey pepperoni one, and the fresh Parm and basil on the side is such a nice touch. While the line can get long, and it’s not in the best part of town, this pizza is worth it!
Hearing me complain about there being no good pizza places, an Italian friend recommended that I try Gypsy Poet. WOW. One taste and you can tell the ingredients are super high-quality. The mozzarella in the caprese salad is outstanding, and pizza was fresh and delicious. I can't wait to come back!!
This place is typically pretty full, but if you arrive within the first hour of opening it's pretty empty and the pizza comes out very fast (relative to the typical ~30 minutes). The food is 100% worth the wait. Not super heavy and perfectly balanced in the sauce/topping/dough ratios. The top quality of the ingredients is very obvious, especially in the great complimentary fresh basil leaves, crushed red pepper, parmesan cheese, and their signature honey sauce (weird at first but excellent with the pepperoni madness!) Also very kind and great service. Great dog friendly patio with complimentary dog treats.
Great pizza! You walk in and order at the counter, then go find seating either inside or outside. They have games and other things to do while you wait. We ordered the salads and they were both fantastic! Our pizzas came out in no time and they were delicious. The hot honey adds a whole other level of tastiness to the pizza. Try it, you won't regret it.
My favorite pizza spot in Houston. Their pizzas are wood fired which absolutely makes the pizza taste a hundred times better than regular pizza. Their decor is unique and creative and the food is incredible. I believe this is a family business, the staff is very nice and attentive and don’t forget to try their Nutella pizza for dessert it is a must if you go to this amazing place!
Don't be fooled by the tiny size of this location. This Pizza is amazing. The ladies making this pizza knows exactly how to make a damn good pie! The ambiance is great and the vibe is chill. I highly suggest the Pepperoni Madness but the wife always goes for the Margherita The Queen. This is now my go-to for pizza in Houston.
Wow! This is definitely a must go! The place has a unique style and the pizza is delicious. I usually feel stuffed after two or three slices at any place, but here I ate like 4 slices and still had space for dessert, which was an incredible Nutella pizza! (I ate 2 big slices of that) 🤍One of my favorite places so far, will be coming back soon!
Delicious pizza!! Got the pepperoni madness and the fancy backpacker and both were amazing - our favorite of the two was the pepperoni madness. The dough was personally my favorite part. This isn’t your typical “grab and go” pizza place, and it took us about 30 mins from the time we ordered to actually get our orders. Located in a pretty quiet part of the city with plenty of street parking. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating options. For the two pies + two coke cans the total was about $48 before tip.
My husband and I just happened to stumble inside of this cool and hip space. We were out for date night and google suggested it. It was wonderfully perfect. The DJ had us shoulder jumping and feet tap. The pizza is the best! My salad was a delicious side. My husband said he could just eat the crust for the meal 😂 I can’t not wait to return and take my children on a date here. Its a spot everyone can enjoy. SEE YALL ALL SOON 😁
Best thin crust pizza I've had in Houston in a long time. Salad is nice too, not too much vinegar. They even give fresh basil on the side. Reminds me of my trip to Rome!
Best pizza in Houston, hands down. Wish I could give 6 stars. Every now and then, you come across a place that just glows. The atmosphere, the food, the owners… a damn near perfect recipe. The love and passion that went into this Venezuelan couple’s restaurant concept is as evident in the physical vibe as it is in the food — Cesar hand designed the architecture and décor, and Vanessa owns the magic in the kitchen. We found GP in March 2020, and we love it so much we’ve been almost weekly since. Fresh ingredients, pizza and salads that your stomach doesn’t regret, and an unexpectedly strong wine and beer selection.
Tutti gli italiani che conosco qui in zona vanno qui per della pizza.... Quindi provatela se siete in zona. Their pizzas are the closest thing I can find in Houston to authentic romana versions back in Italy - and - if you listen carefully you'll hear a lot ofthe customers speaking Italian as well so what more do you need to know 😊 my only complaint is that sometimes it gets really packed so it can take some time to get your food but it's worth it imo.
Very good pizza at a reasonable price. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the experience but also feel that this would be perfect for take out. One pizza will feed two people well. The Caprese salad was also delicious. While we felt there was plenty of street parking around, that could be a concern at busier hours!
Finally got to check out this amazing pizza parlor! Hands down the best pizza, and atmosphere experience I've ever had! Great sitting areas. Cute setup. Comfy couches and chairs. Wonderful staff. Clean bathrooms. Excellent pizza choices. Dessert was even better! And the location... Perfectly situated in the heart of Houston 👌 If you're ever downtown and in the mood for some good food and relax time... Head on over to the Gypsy Poet. ❤️🍕
Loved the food and atmosphere here. If you love neopolitan style pizza, you must try the menu at The Gypsy Poet. There is plenty of seating, but you might need to wait a little to snag a spot outside. They offer plenty of table and board games. They also have canned wine and beer. I tried the pepperoni madness pizza and absolutely loved it, and i want to try the full menu.
My review for this place is wayyy overdue. This cute, lively pizza spot is one of my boyfriend and I's favorite places to eat in Houston. There was a point where we were coming every other weekend. The employees here are always so kind and helpful and the pizzas here are always so delicious. The hot honey is so good paired with the pizzas, we ended up buying a bottle from Trader Joe's to take everywhere with us. We love this place so much!!
It was an incredible experience at The Gypsy Poet to say the least! The ambiance is splendid due to the awesome staff & the set up of the restaurant. They have a patio that contains outside seating which is a great option to have whenever our weather allows. In the inside they have small benches with cushions and a projector playing great music, on certain days they have live music. They offer various wines and beer options to pair with your delicious pizza. Now since we are on the topic of Pizza, they offer exquisite Artisan Pizza that is heavenly with each bite one takes! Their ingredients are fresh as can be! My partner and I devoured 2 of the Cappellone “Big Hat” Pizzas and the taste was flavorsome. While consuming the Pizzas, we experienced a small mishap but they expressed outstanding customer service in resolving the dilemma which goes a long way for any customer who is appreciative of great customer service. Not only that but once we were getting ready to leave, they gifted us with their delightful Nutella Confezzione on the house which caught us by surprise. It displays how serious the owners and staff take their customers experience in their restaurant. I’d recommend The Gypsy Poet to anyone who’d like to enjoy tasty Pizza!!
It’s not hard to earn a five-star review! You just need great food, a great environment with a unique twist, and great service.. of course the drinks are always a plus. This place had all of the above and the plus! Needless to say this is one of the best pizza spots Houston has at the moment.. I haven’t had anything that tops it yet. Hopefully they keep the hard work up to maintain that number one spot. The honey with the pepperoni pizza is an incredible combination. Every ingredient tastes fresh. Great environment to go with friends or even on a quick date with your s/o. Be ready to wait, this place is packed almost every day! Quality of the food definitely backs the price up. Shoutout to the staff for being attentive and friendly.
One of the best pizza places in Houston area in my opinion. If you’re looking for traditional “New York” style pizza this might not be the place for you but if you like trying new things and appreciate a great Neapolitan style pizza this place does it right! Gets very busy and does not have a lot of seating so go early or you’ll have to wait but I think it’s worth eating for!
This is one of my favorite places to go eat. The atmosphere and the vibes are great. There is plenty of room to set, play, and chat. The service is exceptional, and everyone is very helpful. It gets busy during the weekend but the service still the same. Food is always great and they have variety of options, my favorite is the truffle pizza. Their pizza is a hybrid between New York style and Napolitano which is great. You have to try their honey chili sauce which is great. Overall I would highly recommend this place
I’ll start by saying we went on a Tuesday right around 5:30pm, we were the only ones in the restaurant. We shared the Margherita and “Pepperoni Madness” both were top notch, included red pepper flakes, cheese and fresh basil on the side. This is a great hidden gem that’s worth the drive. We will surely mark this place down as some of the best authentic wood fired pizza around and visit this place again.
I was doing work at the apartment complex next door. And you would have to be dead on the inside to not smell the wonderful delicious absolutely fantastic fire oven pizzas that are being cranked out of this joint . I couldn't pull out my wallet fast enough. It was absolutely delicious can you say fresh fresh fresh. This place is 100% absolutely a hidden gem you must come 💯🎉🤩🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️💞
Amazing oven fired pizza made in a wood burning stove. TGP on Austin has interesting menu choices and a creative seating area. It can get crowded later in the evening but the toasted crust and delicious melted mozzarella cheese is worth the wait. There are usually parking spots along the side streets in Midtown. I think dogs are allowed on the patio although you can always order the pizza to go.
This is probably the best pizza I’ve had in the Houston area… Tomato sauce is very important to me when I’m trying out a pizza, so happy to report that the tomato sauce is very flavorful (with a little bit of sweetness), and the fresh cheeses are delicious as well! I really enjoyed the dreamcatcher pizza which had truffle oil, goat cheese, mozzarella and arugula (truffle oil + goat cheese is a really good combination!). The standard margarita pizza was also very good, with tasty fresh mozzarella. I think the only minor negative was that a few parts of the crust were burnt which those parts a bit more dry and tough, but this didn’t really detract from the pizza that much as a whole! They have live music most nights in their Heights location, which really just makes the experience even better, 9.5/10 would recommend and will be back!
This pizza place is awesome! The prices are great and you get see your pizza being made before your eyes. The pizza though, the pizza is phenomenal! We ordered the vegan version of the cappolone big hat pizza and it was so delicious. The crust is perfection too. There was plenty of street parking when I came. The inside is a bit small so it's best to come at not so busy times. Can't wait to come back!
Our favorite pizza! Our favorite cheat meal! Always consistent with quality and service. I love the honey on the pepperoni pizza. Plus it's one of the few pizzas that doesn't make me feel bloated afterwards. The salads are pretty good too. Order at the counter and your pizza will be out in about 20-30 mins. The place is always clean and neat and the staff always welcoming. Both locations are great.. Here were are again and my thoughts are the same! Delicious 😋
This place was recommended to me and my friends, so we went randomly on a Wednesday night. We were surprised to see that they doing a jam night with a band and everything! Needless to say we had an awesome night enjoying the food and music. The pizzas were delicious and made fresh in their brick type oven. Definitely will be going back!
Went for early dinner on Saturday, planned to be there early to avoid long wait line. There was a line but it moved pretty fast. As soon as we entered the place, we loved the vibe and energy of the staff, smiley and attentive. We ordered the popular pepperoni madness, delicious, and the portobello salad, very nice too. They offer variety of beers and wine, and music was excellent too! They have live music on Wednesday and Sunday. We will Visit again soon!
As someone who has lived in NYC and loves pizza, this is a great way to scratch that itch now living in Houston. The food was top notch and will definitely be back again. It was a 4 star for service only because we had gone on a Friday afternoon and waited about an hour in total for 2 pizzas. The staff were working hard but it was just too busy (which is a good thing).
Great little spot with a cool vibe and fresh pies! There's even a sign that says if youre dining in to grab a drink from the cooler and stand in line. Groovy! Didn't have to wait to op3n my beer. Yay! Had the Sicilian Journy ans the Big Hat. Both delicious, fresh, and even came with fresh basil, shave parmesean and red pepper flakes. Every pizza lovers faves!
Great pizza, good vibes, happy times! Went here on a weekend for dinner. They have parking space, indoor and outdoor seating. You go and order your pizza, drinks and grab a seat. The open kitchen looks fantastic! Service is fast and good. Loved the Fancy backpacker and Troublemaker. Comes with crushed red peppers and cheese. The toppings are delicious, not very greasy and cheesy. The crust was thin and well cooked! Definitely going back.
Gypsy Poet is honestly one of the best pizza spots if not, #1 I’ve been to in Houston. The vibe is chill and cozy, the staff is friendly and cool, and crust is thin but not floppy, the ingredients are high quality with every slice u bite it’s honestly amazing? You can definitely tell that they care abt making it great and also a great spot to hang out with friends or a date, Oh! Don’t forget abt the Wednesday special at evenings!!
They make a mean pizza here at Gypsy Poet I actually loved it here. Crust is like so thin and crispy and I love the char on the edges. I got the Dream Catcher which was delish, truffle flavor wasnt too overpowering, and I loooove goat cheese so having that on a pizza was awesome. Tried some of my friend’s Pepperoni Madness which was good as well.
This is the most authentic Pizza I've had since my vacation in Italy. Unfortunately, the price seems to correlate with the authenticity. The average pizza I saw was like $18, my wife and I both got a pizza and it didn't really fill us up for better or worse. I think the price is worth it, because you can tell they really use the best ingredients. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want a high quality pizza and are willing to pay a bit more for it.
The food was amazing! We had the Pepperoni pizza and both desserts, it was all sooo good. The place is super cute, perfect to hang out with family, friends or have a casual date. I love that they give the sides next to the pizza, it tastes really fresh and I think is ecofriendly which it’s a great detail
These guys are just the best. It had been a while since our last visit and the magic is still here! The pizza is really good. And that’s why you should go, especially here in houston where good pizza is rare. But what’s really unique is the service and overall attitude. They are friendly and helpful. And EASY! They make it all easy, and that’s just hard to find anywhere, whether it be a restaurant, a doctor’s office or a big box store. Well done once again Gypsy Poet!
This place has great artisan pizza along with a lively environment to complement it! We ordered the Fancy Backpacker which was delicious. They gave us fresh slices of cheese and red pepper flakes to use at our will which was a nice plus. There was a DJ playing live music when we visited which really added to the atmosphere. Overall fantastic place to have dinner with friends or to visit for a night out! We’d love to come visit again to try out the other pizza options.
Food came out at a reasonable pace. Served high quality shredded cheese and basil (nothing in paper packets). Pizzas are thin and very flavorful. We ordered four margheritas and six pepperonis, which fed fifteen people. Seating is difficult to find and line can be long, but we came at a peak time on Friday.
I was looking for a particular place and stumbled across The Gypsy Poet by accident. It is the best pizza my wife and I have had in Houston so far. The space is so well thought out. We enjoyed the opportunity to sit on the couches and watch as they made the pizzas. The ordering was simple. We were confused at first how they would get the pizza to us, but they got it to us without even needing our names which impressed us. The pizza itself was reasonably priced and was fresh and we loved the cheese, basil, and red pepper flakes on the side. Definitely recommend.
ONE OF THE BEST 🍕 Gypsy Poet is easily one of my top three favorite spots for pizza in Houston. The place has a unique charm that blends a hint of Venezuelan vibes with its own distinctive Italian pizzeria concept, and I absolutely love it. The atmosphere is vibrant, the music sets the perfect mood, and the pizza? It’s simply phenomenal. 🍕❤️ 🎸 What really stands out to me is how well everything comes together—the vibe, the food, the drinks. I always go for wine, salad and pizza with my boyfriend , and it’s become our go-to spot for pizza date nights. I highly recommend checking out Gypsy Poet. You won’t regret it! 💯🍷🍺🍕🥗

This is a fancier pizza joint with plenty of unique toppings. I loved that and the wood-fired taste. The pizzas are smaller sized so you could eat several slices before it really starts to feel filling. This is the type of place that asks for a tip at the counter which always feels awkward before you even get your food. That being said the service is really nice. The space has a few different seating options and feels very comfortable.
First time here and I'm liking this place. Even though we had our order messed up, over it is pretty good. The place is nice and the food is really good. I had pepperoni madness and it's delicious!! Can't wait to try something else next time! One thing is that it's kinda hard to find a parking spot.
Let me start this by saying I’m from Chicago so I know good pizza when I see it. It’s basically another food group there. We went here for an early dinner because we were in the area and the reviews looked promising. It’s a little bit tucked away and the vibe is a bit hipster but not in a bad way. Their staff were polite and attentive. We ordered the Sicilian journey and the trouble maker. Both were excellent. Normally I’m not interested in chewier crust but it was pretty good. Know that this type of pizza is definitely Sicilian style on the thin side fresh toppings minimal cheese and sauce. For the style it was pretty good. Would definitely recommend and go again.
Interesting place that we found through Google reviews and learnt that it’s been open for 5 years. They don’t have any signs or anything you just kind find it and show up. Just goes to tell that they have a strong following and clientele. We loved the laid back chilled out vibe and the food was decent. I was however a bit surprised at the price tag for pizzas. Two pizzas and two drinks, costed 50 bucks and that does not include the tip btw. The place is cool and nice but not sure if it’s my goto pizza place yet. We certainly had left overs but I maybe sticking to the whole foods slice for 3.99 for now. However if you have a bougie group of friends trying to play it low and want to chill in a laid back place, this is just that!
Ordered the pepperoni madness. They put extra hot honey on it but I couldn’t taste it. It tastes like a regular pepperoni. It’s a regular slightly Sicilian style pizza- note, the crust is more on the thin side like Sicilian. the vibes felt great and the environment is family friendly. They have a small parking lot and street parking in front of and across from spot. They also have beer and wine available for purchase.
I was so eager to find out what all the hype was, and this place did not disappoint! It’s definitely tucked away with no sign so pay attention. The line can get long but it’s definitely worth the wait! I do wish it had more outside seating but the ambiance was nice! The prices are great and the pizzas are very unique. We ordered the formaggi and it was really good! Staff was great and we would recommend this place and will absolutely go again!
Pizza was pretty good but in my opinion the crust was very thin. I'm talking paper thin but it was pretty good nonetheless. I really like the interior of the place. It was a really cool vibe to it. Kind of a retro vibe. They had good music playing and everyone was friendly. Parking can be a hassle around there
We were looking for a place to eat near downtown where we were staying for the weekend and came across this spot. The food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing, especially for first-time visitors. There was no clear explanation of how ordering or seating worked. We had to ask staff for guidance, and the interaction at the counter was not very friendly or helpful. The food was great, but it was the only positive part of the experience. The environment was great very relaxing once you’re situated. It’s a seat yourself after you order kind of establishment.
First time at the hyped Gypsy Poet. We got the margherita “the queen” and paid about 17 bucks. It was good but truly nothing extraordinary. There is certainly better pizza in the city. I like that the use a brick oven pizza and make every pizza to order. they have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free friendliness— but again it’s nothing special here. As far as the atmosphere, I enjoyed it, it could be a nice hangout spot. I would see myself enjoying the weather outside in the warm weather. Parking is $5 unless you find somewhere to park alongside the street!
Cafe has become my working and relaxing place. Their cappuccino is full-bodied and creamy and the pastry is homemade. The ambience is relaxing and the Wi-Fi is stable. A fine place to have a quiet …
The pizza was flavorful with a light, crispy crust and well-balanced toppings. The service was polite and the order didn't take long. I would've liked a bit more seasoning, but overall it was a ple…
The pizza is always solid but it seems like it's one step away from being amazing. The service is nice and the waiting time depends on the busyness. Nearly on all my visits, the waiting time has …

Pizza was fresh and good. You can eat a lot and not feel sick. Hot honey tasted more like just honey, the menu lacks variety and flavors. Very bland tasting pizzas. I like ranch for my crust which they don’t have also.
Been told by a lot of people in Houston that this is the spot for pizza. Very disappointed in my experience tho, I can tell they use a lot of good ingredients but as for the best pizza in Houston? Naw, hard pass. I had to go to another pizza parlor right after this to compare the taste and the other one was better tasting, Dave Portney rated this pizza a 7.8 one of the highest on the app in Houston one his one bite app & it’s more like a 6.3.
We got takeout and they had forgotten our order and the pizza was not worth the price when we got it as it was nothing special

We read about this place in the reviews online and thought we'd give it a try. We had a large margherita pizza and another large pizza that was sausage and peppers. Sauce and toppings were a surp…

Update: owner notified me that the worker just went into the stall to retrieve her phone and that’s why it looked like she didn’t wash her hands, so it was just bad timing. Update again A few days later: Not even a small thank you as a kind gesture from the owner for changing this review after a weird explanation was given to me so I am knocking the stars back down to 1. Owner is only concerned about the ego and not the customers. A word of advice: People pay for the experience- not just the food. I can make better pizza at home for a fraction of the price. Stop undermining all your customers when they have a bad experience. A pleasant experience is just as important as the food. Old: I am really sad I can’t give this place a higher review- but let me explain why. Food was great, the people working the front was great. Halfway through my dinner- I went to the bathroom. One of the ladies working in the back (putting the pizza together) went STRAIGHT from the TOILET to back to work! No washing hands- nothing! At that point my dinner was totally ruined and I basically wanted to vomit. 🤢 so gross! I NEVER not wash my hands after using the restroom and that lady is preparing food!!! What the heck!!! So my experience unfortunately was totally destroyed. I couldn’t finish my pizza because all I could see was bacteria after that point 😭
Was pretty excited to try this place as it’s highly rated. Was pretty excited when I saw my favorite combo on the menu. Italian sausage and onion pizza!!! And white pie. My two favorites actually. I was so disappointed!! This pizza was so bland! No flavor. Almost no sausage, ricotta was spread super thin And had no flavor. The shallots were flavorless. Just honestly not good. We had the margarita pizza as well which was a cheese pizza with 6 small balls of fresh mozzarella on each slice that were entirely cold!! I’ve eaten a lot of really great pizza in NYC, Italy, Buenos Aires, etc. This doesn’t even make the top 100.
