Tip: Consider sitting upstairs to enjoy the lighting, especially during brunch. Be prepared for a potential wait, but the bar by the pizza oven offers a great alternative.

First time visiting this location with my husband, and we had a wonderful experience! I’ve previously been to the Woodlands location for lunch and loved it, so we were excited to try this one. The food did not disappoint. My husband especially enjoyed the grilled chicken with chickpeas, and the salads were refreshing—light, yet still filling. I loved the croutons on the Caesar salad, and the pizza was delicious—perfectly balanced, not too thick or doughy. The only item we didn’t care for was the fried zucchini. It was a bit too acidic for our taste with a strong vinegar flavor. However, our server kindly removed it from the bill without hesitation. Speaking of service, Alayna was amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She even surprised us with a complimentary dessert as we were celebrating our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch. When we asked how long she had been there, we were shocked to hear only two weeks—you would never have known because she was that good! Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience and will definitely be back!
BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA!!! So this is one of our frequent easy lunch or dinner spots for casual that always hits, especially since my husband is GF. The pasta is amazing and we always order the spicy 🔥 Brussels sprouts. Wine on tap you can try and they have cocktails too. The hostesses have always been friendly and accommodating. I can bring my kids, have a date night or evening with girlfriends. Food is amazing! We came without a reservation and had a great time at the bar. Free 2 hour parking in the garage.
stopped by Sixty Vines on a shopping day in rice village. we were seated quickly. the appetizers, fried zuchinni, bacon wrapped dates, and burrata bruschetta were AMAZING. i ordered a wine but my server made a recommendation and got me hooked on an even tastier wine! loved that. my entree, the rainbow trout with lentils, was sooooo good. so much flavor and nice and hot. i will be returning very soon!
I love Sixty Vines!! It’s my favorite wine bar in Houston! I always go and sit at the bar and I have great service everytime. I had the frosé and it was perfect! The shrimp shared plate is great I loved the corn.
The food and service were superb! I have food allergies and they were quick to offer accommodations in the meal prep. The fried zucchini was phenomenal and the beet and goat cheese salad was refreshing and flavorful. The Benchmark Old Fashioned was smooth and satisfying. All-in-all, it was a wonderful experience with excellent service and food.
Sixty Vines always delivers exceptional quality in food, drinks, and service! With a diverse menu that suits any gathering, you'll find something for everyone, including kids. The cozy atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for families, business lunches, romantic date nights, or even a relaxing solo outing. Don’t miss out on their delicious Bacon Wrapped Dates —it’s an absolute must-try!
We went to Sixty Vines for lunch with a group of seven. We had a reservation, and our table was ready as soon as we arrived. The server was very helpful and took the time to explain the food and drink options. The ambiance is excellent, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a high-end dining experience. The food was exceptional, and the drinks were fantastic. There’s also free parking available at a nearby parking garage. Overall, excellent experience!!
My son treated me to lunch for my birthday and we had a wonderful experience! Our server, Ryan, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine and food menus and made suggestions based on our preferences, which they asked about and listened to... that's top-notch service! A few of the other staff stopped by to wish me a happy birthday and even gave me a card and complementary glass of bubbly! The wood grilled shrimp and smashed potatoes were a perfect match! Sixty Vines is a lovely place. Highly recommend!
After a long week and a complicated TMC morning appointment, pressing pause to regroup was very necessary. We headed to Rice Village to refuel both mentally and physically. The restaurants in the area were noticeably crowded with the business lunch folks - this was not the vibe we needed. Because of previous positive experiences, we opted for SIXTY VINES! Just to be sure, I reached out to and spoke with Victoria, who kindly encouraged us to come by. As anticipated, the restaurant did not disappoint. The atmosphere is intimately stylish, conformably calm and inviting. Our food and beverage selections were EXCEPTIONAL. The service provided by Misty can only be described as attentive, intentionally personable and generously hospitable. Her genuine knowledge of the menu helped us make great choices. This dining experience melted away the angst of the morning appointment. Misty was definitely “a rainbow in the cloud” and she is most definitely an asset to SIXTY VINES. Thank you so much… we are already looking forward to our next visit. 💜
Rice Village in Houston is home to many options for food and drink. If you want a touch of elegance- and a large selection of wine- then a place you need to visit is Sixty Vines. At Sixty Vines, wine is one of the chief draws. As its name suggests, there are about sixty different wines from which to choose, with a wide range of styles. The majority are from California, Oregon, etc but there are a few French, Spanish, and Italian options also. They offer multiple serving size options, which I like, and the wait staff is well- versed on the wines. They can help guide you to find the right wine for your specific taste preferences. Food at Sixty Vines is excellent! I often go for one of the pizzas or pasta dishes, but the other food is exceptional as well, like the Double Cabernet Burger, Wood Grilled Bavette Steak, and Filet Mignon. If you go for a pizza, they have popular options like Margherita pizza and Spicy Sausage Pizza. If you feel more adventurous, I recommend the Fig & Prosciutto Pizza or Marinated Artichoke Pizza. No matter what food you choose, you won’t be disappointed. With parking, there is paid parking in the immediate parking lot. I recommend parking on the rooftop instead, where the first two hours of parking are free. It’s a little tricky because if you pull into the main parking lot, there is no way to get to the rooftop, which is why most people don’t even know it’s there. You get to the rooftop from Kelvin Drive, which is the side street. Parking up here is worth it because it is less expensive, you are more likely to find an open space, and there is a direct entrance to Sixty Vines restaurant, which has two levels. Rice Village has many good options for dining, but Sixty Vines is my favorite of all. Excellent food, an abundant wine selection, and a knowledgeable wait staff make Sixty Vines an obvious standout in the crowded Houston restaurant scene.
Great brunch experience at Rice Village. We've been to this location before for wine tasting at the bar. Both times we were served by a lovely gentleman by the name of Gunes (not sure about spelling). Both times he was welcoming and offered a memorable experience with a great smile. Today we enjoyed a First Crush Martini, Orange Morning Bread, Grilled Golden Beets, Rigatoni and the Cabernet Brunch Burger. Everything was delicious and well presented.
Although pizza in general is great, it's not great everywhere you go. But here at Sixty Vines their pizza is excellent. I had the spicy sausage which was very enjoyable, perfectly cooked and a great size for a personal pie. I feel what really set this place apart though, besides the tasty brussel sprouts was the atmosphere and even more specifically the service. Almost everyone working there who passed by me said hello. Checked in. Made sure I had everything I needed and was extremely friendly. It's just not something you see these days when you're out and about and it made my dining experience much more enjoyable.
We arrived at Sixty vines for dinner and it was very cool (temperature) downstairs but we requested a window seat so we were seated upstairs which was definitely warmer. I was very comfortable since I was in a dress but my boyfriend runs hot so he was a little uncomfortable but it wasn’t like deal breaker hot. All depends on preference. For an appetizer we order the truffled vineyard fries which was probably my favorite! They were hot and crispy and the layers were cooked to perfection. For our main course I ordered the Creste Di Gallo which was good I ate my entire plate. My boyfriend ordered the Marinated Artichoke pizza and he enjoyed it. They make them in a brick oven that’s near their kitchen area which is very cool to see. For sides we ordered the Charred broccolini and Carrots. The broccolini has more flavor because of the bacon and charred mini onions so it made them very tasty!! For dessert we ordered the Basque Cheesecake. I tend to like my cheesecake a little more dense but that’s my preference.. every one has a different palette. Taste was good and the cherries on top were a nice touch of sweet/tartness. It was good! Parking was timed but if you don’t mind walking you can find a parking spot without having to pay to park. We parked right in front so it was very convenient to just pay the $6 for two hours. During our dining experience it was very noisy so I did have to raise my voice a few times so my boyfriend could hear me. It’s definitely a trendy and more relaxed vibe. They were quite busy with tables coming and going. Our service was good. My only negative note is I don’t particularly like it when finished plates sit on the table without getting taken away in a timely manner. I never do it but I stacked our plates so they could be taken away. But like I said it is more of a relaxed vibe so maybe it’s a take your time and we don’t want to make you feel rushed type of service. The establishment was clean. The kitchen looked clean. The bar had plenty of open seats. They also offer mocktails which is nice. By the time we were leaving it was getting dark and the outside just looks so cute with the lights. Overall everything was delicious! Good vibes and very cool trendy scene with a view of the shopping area down in rice village. If you wanted to go here to get a quick bite or have dinner.. there’s also plenty of do in the area afterwards.

My friends and I had a Galentine dinner there. There atmosphere was very festive. There were a few other groups also celebrating Galentine. The place was full and fun!
I had a reservation, but it felt like forever waiting for a table for 40 minutes, even with one, because people were just chatting after they ate. The waitress was super slow, and I was dying of thirst for water for another 30 minutes. Finally, a manager helped us. The food was good, even though the menu changed. Overall, it was great, but I was surprised about the menu change.
Trendy, Lively, and Wine-Centric — A Great Spot for Date Night or Celebrations ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 out of 5) Sixty Vines was a new experience for us, and overall, we were very impressed. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially since this is a high-traffic area with limited parking. There’s only paid parking available, and although there is some street parking, it fills up quickly—plan ahead. The restaurant itself is visually stunning and full of energy, offering a variety of seating options: – High tops – Bar seating (including a dedicated wine bar and a chef’s bar where you can watch the wood-fired pizzas being made) – Regular dining tables – An outdoor patio – Plus both upstairs and downstairs seating with second-story views if you’re lucky enough to sit by a window The space has an industrial-chic design, which makes for great ambiance, but it’s also very loud—not ideal if you’re looking for a quiet dinner. Some of the chairs were also uncomfortable (mine had no padding and was quite worn down), but our server kindly brought a cushion, which made a big difference. Service was excellent throughout. Our waitress was knowledgeable, patient, and eager to help us customize cocktails and navigate the menu. The menu features a mix of American and French-inspired dishes, with a strong focus on wine pairings and seasonal ingredients. The pastas were outstanding, though I will say portion sizes run a bit small, so you may want to order additional dishes if you’re hungry. Highly recommend the olive oil cake for dessert—moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. A few key takeaways: – Not kid-friendly (no children’s menu) – Better suited for adults, date nights, birthdays, or group celebrations – They do accommodate large parties, but reservations are a must Final thoughts: Despite a few minor comfort and noise issues, Sixty Vines offers an elevated, fun dining experience that’s ideal for wine lovers and those celebrating a special occasion. We would absolutely return for another date night or anniversary dinner.

I had a good experience, the service was great and the environment and open kitchen was nice. My only problem it was the lack of vegan options. Not even the hummus is vegan there. They say they can accommodate any restriction, and we did that, asking all the veganizable appetizers. However, it was weird and not very inclusive… why adding dairy to hummus when there is no need and there is no compromise in flavor? Also, they only have one vegan main option… They really need to have more vegan options, as it is I would not come back, since I already tried them all. More people would come if they make the menu more inclusive.
We ordered truffle fries, burger and rigatoni. Truffle fries take was unique but wasn’t to my liking. The crispy outside was great but the aroma and seasoning doesn’t carry thru. It feels closer to scalloped potatoes. Center is bland and tough. Rigatoni pasta was also so so. Maybe it was our dish choices but our food was mediocre. The vibe is great; large space, gorgeous interior and cute wine illustration tiles! If you like wines, I’d say great place! As for food, it’s not up to par.
Went for a friends birthday brunch and it wasn't bad. Definitely willing to try other things when I go again.
