Nothing else but sometimes ambience is enough to set your mood right. And when good food just falls in the right place as well - that’s how I will define Torchy’s. 5 star for its ambience + good variety of tacos on its menu + just fabulous queso dip served with nachos + good snacks made out of corns etc... + very homey staff and service + good location + pleasant outside seating + one of the good fresh tasting brownies on their shelf ! They serve liquor as well n have good number of seats for bigger crowds.

I really wanted to love Torchy’s from the recs I got to make a visit. But I was a little underwhelmed with their tacos. They were definitely loaded & tasty yet weren’t quite as amazing as Velvet tacos. Trailer park was overseasoned/salty and the poblano salsa was too creamy to enjoy the generous portions they serve. Ambiance & menu overall is really interesting. Definitely worth a visit.

It’s not a visit to Texas if you don’t include Torchy’s Tacos! We got off the plane and headed straight there. Place was empty (weird) but service was spot on and place was clean. They have fun tshirts for sale as well as a special taco of the month. We didn’t try that one, stayed with our favorites. A lot of to go orders headed out the door while we were dining in. Only one other person there to eat while we had our dinner. Maybe it’s just this location, all the others we’ve been to are slammed all the time! Still great food and would return.

I had been to Torchy’s before but it had been well over 5 years. I don’t remember the taste that well but I know all the food was good. Plus they were highly recommended by family and friends. We ordered, trailer park extra trashy, fiesta steak and a democrat taco. Along with chips & queso, kids quesadilla and street corn. Trailer park was ok at best. The way people were recommending it left and right was nowhere to be found. The taco was ok - 5/10. The rest of the two were good enough to make the entire experience worthwhile. Chips & queso and the street corn were the stars of the show. They were mind boggingly delicious. When I visit next time, that’s all I’d probably get. Regardless of the underperforming food as a whole, I give it 4 stars because of the service. The lady was nice enough to give us free tacos for next time.

Great taco choices. As a vegetarian I was able to easily find some things that I'd like without having to customize or remove meat from some of the options. This in my book is a huge plus one. The prices are very decent. Make sure you try their queso, it was really good!

Came here for lunch (4/19) with a friend and the food was decent. I ordered guacamole and chips with the Baja Shrimp and Alabama Shake tacos. The food is good but it was definitely a pricey lunch. This location is bad on parking and if you’re not there early enough you’ll have to circle around until you luck up on a spot.

Pick up. Quality at this location has gone down. Too many burnt pieces in the elote, queso and chips really greasy and brushfire was meh, not enough mango, chicken wasn't flavorful enough and flour tortilla tasted store bought.

Won’t be coming back here specially during lunch. Girl sitting behind register was sad,down and was not motivated to even have a job. No replies from her on anything commented to her. The only words were “” your total is $11.27. One Burrito took 27 minutes because apparently The Food apps service take priority and the inside customer is not important. Nastiest food I’ve ever eaten. Chewy and nasty steak. I was so excited to try this place but very disappointed experience. Service was not all that. We got two steak burritos, could not even eat half of it. Mushy beans and rice, with barely any steak. 4 prices of steak that I did find are straight up nasty.
