Hands down best Barbecue I have ever had! The brisket was tender and juicy; the ribs were perfectly glazed, slightly sweet and well seasoned! ALL the sides were amazing - perfectly crispy fries smoky baked beans, flavorful green beans, and the dirty rice was so good it sold out while we there. There was a constant stream of traffic while we dined and a line out the door by the time we left! And although the line moves pretty fast, the food is totally worth any wait!! Next time I'm in Texas, I'm definitely making my way back to Triple J's!

Lunch at Triple J Smokehouse didn’t disappoint! The line was long long, but good things come to those who wait. Tried the Big J potato—loaded and on point. I’m not usually a sausage fan, but the lady behind me swore it was the best in Houston. She wasn’t wrong. Ribs and brisket hit the spot too. No BBQ sauce needed—if you know, you know. Worth the wait every time! Got carrot cake to go but that’s for later.

The food.. listen was was fire 🔥& worth the hike to the North Side. I ordered the ribs, sausage, baked beans, potato salad, peach cobbler & I would definitely go back. I didn’t care for the sweet tea, it tasted like kool-aid (I prefer brewed) but o/than that 9/10. The service was good, they were super busy however, they stayed composed. This was my first time & even though they were busy they still showed patience & gave recommendations. I appreciate that. The line was out of the door! I went around 4P.M not sure if it’s like that daily.

My first time trying it, i now see the hype!!! 10000/10000. I got the 2 meat plate with two sides. They did not hold back on the servings. PEACH COBBLER WAS BOMB ! Ill be back next month 🤪

Im almost speechless how good this BBQ is. If i could give it 100 stars I would. Best BBQ ive had so far ever. I had the 2 meat plate the ribs and brisket and for the side I had beans and rice. Everything was so fire. A must try if your in Houston. Im from Florida so you know its hittin different for me rn. I'm definitely coming back

This place is packed for a reason. I've been on the road for about two years from Cali to New York tasting various types of foods and this is probably the best ribs and peach cobbler I've had out here on the road!! The rating is warranted... they may deserve higher!! Very good food...very friendly and personable service.

Great place. Don't come for a quick lunch as the line circles the entire interior of the restaurant - with a few more outside. After eating some fancy BBQ, this restaurant gives you great value and good solid food. The brisket was smokey and tasty, and the sausage really snapped. Generous portions and after 30 minutes in line and my lunch, I have a great appreciation for this family and their legacy.

Waited in line about 30min on Saturday for lunch. Definitely worth the wait. Smoky meats (brisket, sausage, boudin), cold potato salad, sweet baked beans, yummy strawberry cake, and a purple lemonade! Next time I’ll remember to get sides of BBQ sauce while in line.

The bbq ribs were meaty, the homemade sausage was so good, and the boudin was good. It is more of a take out place. There isn't much room to eat there.

I love this place!! The smoked boudin is THE best, and the Triple J bake potato is soooo good! It has beef, links and ribs. I ate on it for two days!!

A friend of mine wanted some BBQ on the 4th July ribs specifically 😋 so we're excited to go to Triple Js because they had $25 slabs. We're new to Houston so still trying to find good bbq spots here. We get there and the line is out the door and wrapped around but hey we're here so we're dedicated. We waited in line for 2.5 hrs! Talk about the dedication to ger these ribs and once we finally get inside where there is still a line mind you they tell us they ran out of chicken and then about 20 min later they tell us they ran out of ribs!! I honestly couldn't believe it. But since we've waited all this time we gotta get something. Well they only had brisket and sausage left. We opted for the loaded baked potato that comes with everything on it. It was happy hour I guess so it was buy one get one half off. The baked potato cost $18! Like really 😒 they didn't even offer us a drink, snack or even a discount to come back to get the ribs we waited over 2hrs for that they ran out of. I was highly disappointed and the baked potato was just ok. Definitely not worth $18. I guess the ribs are that good that they sold out but to not offer your patrons who waited in the long line nothing just lacked basic business acumen. I don't know if I'll go back . I'll update if I do.

I remember when Triple Js was still in Fiestas parking lot, Im a 90s baby. My family held them supreme. After visiting today I will bid them farewell. What happened to "fixing up ppls food"? A baked potato with a skimpy amount of green onion, no pickled onion, no sour cream just a little packet, no jalapeño? What happened to keeping the soul in things? I guess they have lost their spark.

Brisket wasn't as moist as I'm used to. The ribs were ok. Beans were decent...I'd probably only come back for those. I also got some peach cobbler, which looks good, not sure yet on taste.

I purchased ribs, sausage, boudain & potato salad from Triple J. It was first visit to the smokehouse, the ribs weren't fresh, ends were dry & hard, the beef sausage had an odd texture along with tough outer casing. I asked for sauce on the side but didn't receive it, so I can't review it. The spicy bourdain was good, it had a good flavor. The potato salad had too much mustard, to the point it overpowered the potatoes. I spend thirty dollars on a meal and all I could eat was the $7 boudain. I will not go back.
