Waitresses are exceptional here. Very humble and attentive. Good came out fast and delicious. We had the shrimp cocktail, beef soup and two margaritas.

The staff are very friendly and serve us with no issues. They speak English and Spanish fluently, the food is always delicious and good looking as well

CAME TO TRY THE CHEESE ENCHILADAS AGAIN. THEY WERE NOT FRESH AND THEY WERE COLD. THE RICE WAS HARD IT LOOKED FROM A DAY BEFORE. MY FRIEND GOT A SMALL FISH SOUP. SHE ALSO DIDN'T LIKE IT. HER RICE WAS ALSO HARD. WHEN I WENT TO PAY. I MENTION IT THE YOUNG GIRL AT THE REGISTER. SHE TOLD ME THAT ON ONE OF THE PLATE THE RICE WAS ALL GONE. I CORRECTED HER AND TOLD HER THAT WAS MY PLATE. I ONLY TOOK ONE SPOON FULL TO TRY IT SINCE MY FRIEND WAS THE ONE THAT TOLD ME THAT THE RICE WAS OLD AND HARD. I ALSO STATED THAT I KNEW IT WAS NOT HER FAULT, BUT WE HAVE TO LET YOU KNOW WHEN THE FOOD IS NOT GOOD. SHE GOT UPSET. OUR WAITRESS WAS TO BUSY TALKING AND WAS TAKING A LONG TIME IN GETTING US A CUP OF ICE WATER. I WILL NOT BE GOING TO THAT RESTAURANT. THE FOOD USE TO BE DELICIOUS!!! MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO PAY MORE ATTENTION ON THE COOK...THANKS

Ok so for me I’d say service here was great! Love that they give queso n Salsa with meals. I was literally checked on so many times even though I saw my waitress had a lot of other tables with families. The margaritas here are awesome! Love it!

Messed up my order got me a more expensive dish and I ordered.. prices were not bad at all food was excellent me my girlfriend and my two kids for right at $30.. me and my girlfriend split the fajitas shrimp beef and chicken had extra side of beans.. cannot say enough good things about the place.. maybe a bad part of town.. only white people there.. small parking.. but the food was off the chain good

Awesome food and the service was great. Hidden gem in a residential neighborhood but easy to find.

We stopped by and ate there coming from a long weekend camping trip and I have to say the menudo was amazing. The flour tortillas where made fresh but had just a little too much lard. The service was excellent and there was plenty of room for seating. Our large party got sat down in under 2 minutes and waitress was ready to take our order.

We went around 3:30 pm and there were only a couple other tables. Service was really good. The salsa was nice and hot and the queso was delicious! I had a shrimp cocktail and it was amazing. Just the right amount of spice and it came with a lot of shrimp. Really enjoyed it and would come here anytime. They have booths or tables and a couple tvs but not too loud. Very chill atmosphere. 5/5

The food was good, flavorful and very inexpensive. But the staff was exceptional. I wanted to tip more than what the meal cost!! Yes that good that attentive. I tip mostly according to how many times my server checks on my table. Most Mexican restaurants cater to the working man!! 🤔...

I went here this past weekend with family for the first time. Let me tell you that the food here is delicious! Hands down some of the best authentic Mexican cuisine I have had in a while. The service at Los Churros was excellent. They were friendly, very attentive, and even gave us some great recommendations. The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. Portions for the food were definitely enough to fill you up and I had so to take home with me when I had enough to eat. If you’re looking for a spot with great service, delicious food, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy yourself with family or friends I would definitely recommend this place.

I can't recommend Charros Mexican Grill enough to anyone in search of delicious Mexican food in the area. This place is a hidden gem. I landed at Houston International airport around 10 pm coming from California. I was starving and there were no places open except some fast food chains that I try to avoid at all cost. When I found this place I was surprised. The area is not the most beautiful one, but the restaurant is worth it. They took care of me really fast and the food was delicious!!! I congratulated them because everything was yummy. The Taco al Pasto was one of the best I have eaten and the Mojallete or that big plate is excellent. They also had Tres Leches dessert. Great mexican music to enjoy the dinner. Excellent experience, Cori, a Salvadoran waitress deserved a great tip

What a great meal after a long day traveling. We got into town late and went looking for something local that was still open. Los Charros popped up on the Google Maps app so we decided to give it a go. The enchiladas were awesome! Mole sauce was unlike any I had tried yet! Salsa was great too with a little built in heat! Loved it! My wife got the steak fajitas and a chili relenos with the sauce on the side. She very much enjoyed it too along with peco and her cheese sauce that she had seconds of. Environment was great. It’s got a big open bar taking up the whole end of the room that we aren’t fans of but there wasn’t anyone there. Plenty of great seating mostly tables and chairs with a few booths along the walls. Staff was super friendly and helpful with every question. Very competitive pricing with other similar restaurants we’ve been to. Definitely a must experience for the Mexican food lovers!

This was our first time here. It was mostly empty, except for one other person. The chips, salsa, and queso were pretty good. The chicken enchilada plate came with refried beans and rice, which looked very delicious. I was expecting it to have shredded chicken, instead it had cut up chicken cubes. And the chicken had a weird taste, so I only had one. That’s a big no no, for me. But overall, it was okay, (the sauce, melted cheese, rice and beans) My daughter had los tacos al carbon, the meat was tasty. She enjoyed it. The waitress was nice. I might consider going back, might.

Food was really good and great prices

We visit this place almost 2-3 times a week for breakfast. I get the same plate, machacado ala mexicana. The price is good and the food is good, both me and my wife eat for $15, that’s including coffee, Mexican bottle coke, and two breakfast plates. The staff is friendly and because I’m a regular, they already know to bring me coffee and my sides I like. Cheers!!

Have good service except when they dont bring the free chips with cheese after 10am before it was since the morning. I have to ask for them. I used to take my friends because I would tell them this restaurant gives you free chips and cheese.

I've been eating breakfast here for years. It's inexpensive and this is one of the few places that have wheat flour tortillas! Bathrooms leave a lot to be desired so don't go there for that. Go there for the fresh authentic food.

Food is very good and is priced fairly. I usually get the fajita and chicken parrillada and it never disappoints. Rice and beans are also very good.

A hidden treasure!!. Food was excellent. Services was average but I didn't spend to much time to give them a fair service review. I stay 35 minutes away from this place but drive any day just to try again their food.

The Menudo tastes like it needs to be cleaner. The chillaguilles were ok and needed more flavor. Barbocoa had no fat excellent for that.

Food was ok... Not the best fajita I ever had but was alright. They need an improvement with the service, waitresses we're so distracted we we wait about 10 minutes just to get limon for our parrillada!.

It's not as good as Rosita's was. The food was decent but the tomatos in the Pico de Gallo were old and soggy and they only gave a tablespoon of guacamole. The worst thing though was fighting the flies. They really need to do something to control the flies! Pretty sure that we'll never go back there again.

Excellent food, good prices. However in my case my waitress didn't come to check on my drinks. I wait for a long time to get my check and never came. So I just go to the front to pay a leave.

The food was great but sat there for 10mins before sumone came to take out order. Then it took like close to 20mins to get our food. But to be honest me n my family can't stand very loud areas. Can't enjoy n relax. Had my daughter's birthday dinner there. Sum of my guess said there food was very cold like the fish & shrimp. I don't know but my plate was good n hot.

I expected more from this local neighborhood spot. The enchiladas were overly doused with a thick cheese sauce. The complimentary chips and salsa were honestly the best thing at the restaurant. Use caution when pulling into the parking lot as there are huge pot holes.

First visit at this restaurant- service was slow but our server was nice. The food we ordered came out quickly but the fajita in my child's taco was almost burnt and tough, and our rice was cold. My particular dish was the fajitas rancheras and it had way too much tomato vs being spicy. The restaurant seemed a bit crowded with the layout. Overall, it was fine.

This establishment has been going down hill. We recently came back after a while and now the service here sucks. The waitress never checked on us or was willing to help us with our questions on our orders. We had to keep flagging someone down to refill or ask for something. The ladies don't seem happy to work there and the food is decent. The tacos have little to no beans when you ask for beans and the breakfast plate could had tasted better.

Came in there with low expectations when i saw the exterior of the building. I was however a bit surprised of the interior. When I tasted the food I was disappointed. Very dry, and devoid of any taste. The staff didn't pay much attention to me, but spoke a lot more to my friend due to her speaking Spanish. Overall the place was ok, but will not be going back here again.

Waitress finish her shift and just left. Nobody came afterwards to check on my table at least once, not even at check out; even then they were charging me for someone else's much higher bill. Seriously?? Younger waitresses definitely don't pay attention and are more worried about chit chatting in the back. Food is ok, service is not.

Los Charros use to be one of my favorite places but lately their food hasn't been that great. The food tastes like it's been reheated sometimes. Not sure if they have different cooks during the week but the food on the weekends taste better.

Drove 20+ miles to try out this restaurant and, sadly, it was a big disappointment. The meals we ordered were nasty and terribly cooked. The scrambled eggs were dry and over cooked, the Barbacoa tasted like oil and soap, the flour tortillas were stale and appeared to be reheated. Even simple bean and cheese tacos were bad - how’s that’s possible? Also, they do not give complementary tortilla chips. If you want tortilla chips you will have to pay for them. The only good thing about this place is the customer service. We will not be returning and will stick to our regular Mexican spot.

The staff there was great they were super nice but I got the fajita plate plate and usually any other restaurant I go to with that meal you get things like cheese and sour cream, guacamole, pico.. Well I asked for no guacamole and they still gave it to me they gave me no cheese, or sour cream. Not only that but my fajita meat was terribly dry.

The prices are cheap but you have to ask for chips and salsa or they don't bring it. The music is too loud. And the food is ok but not great. The waitresses are mostly very friendly. It is too crowded with tables and there is very little walk space.

I had an overall good experience. Good service and fast. Vibe was good restaurant full. However, our food was not the best. We had 5 different tacos different meats, legua, barbacoa, chicken, pastor, carne asada. Either it was burnt or over seasoned. We also had breaded beef skirt and it was way overcooked. Beans and rice were good so the soda. 1st time here, I just expected better. Nothing wrong with the people or any person. Just the food lacked. Thank you

I really liked that they serve cheese sauce with their complimentary chips & salsa. (It’s not queso but more like Taco Bell cheese sauce). Their grease is rancid. All tortilla chips & taco shells, etc were cooked in bad grease. Service was pleasant but the plates were mixed up and the crispy taco was laying in the enchiladas. Couldn’t pick it up to eat it.

Loved their food but the service has disappointed me. The waitress Roxana first messed up our drink order, she fixed and brought me the correct order but still. Then she brought my brother and I food but did not bring my husbands caldo. We waited 10 more minutes and nothing. While they were dancing and laughing we were still waiting for his caldo. He had to get up to tell them that he was waiting and another server said that it takes time and she was very rude about it. He had to tell her that we were at that point waiting 15 minutes after we received our food except for him. I asked to speak to the owner and he was not here or a manager. I told them, we were never asked if we needed ketchup, salt more chips etc. They brought it after we spoke up. The place was full when we got here but once we got our food the first time, there was hardly anyone here. I don’t think this is very professional at all. Then one of the guys in the back was wearing flip flops and was serving himself food in the back. This restaurant sells really good food but the waitress, very disappointing.

New employees the night I went and I had to get up and get my own coke refill. The lady never came back to see if we needed anything else...I will NOT sit at a booth or table she is assigned to when i return.

Food was not how it used to be at all!! The service is always bad, really bad attitudes. We had a waitress pose as a manager (our server said they didn't have mangers in today) after we had a complaint about bugs in the sugar. It was just a really really bad experience!!!

My first time here was good, the waitress was polite and brought everything at a good time. My second time here was not so good, it really depends on who they hire and I can tell they hire just anyone, we came for a table of 5ppl a small birthday gathering, the waitress was rude and didn’t care that she was being rude, she took a while to bring beer back to our table, she didn’t even speak English, which is understandable given the area, the food is good and that’s about it

I come here a lot and seriously considering finding another spot to enjoy my meals. The quality of the over the past few months has really gone down. The food being served to me is always cold. The tortillas taste like if they have been microwaved. The potatoes are stale and hard like if they were leftovers and the wait staff hardly ever come check to see if I need anything. It’s a shame this is happening. This use to be my favorite spot.

If i can rate a 0 i would ....They changed me 22.00 for 5 drinks because we asked to change the Dr because it was flat then charged a 2 $ service fee then I tipped for horrible service she has a stank face like we bothered her .... the food was gross ... crazy it use to be a good restaurant... the food tasted like they just warmed it in microwave.... smh

Very disappointing service in the past 6 months. They can not get orders over the phone correct and even in person. Several times I have ordered torta and tacos with extra such as beans or avacadoe or extra cream or extra meat and with out lettuce and tomatoes at times. With out fail once I arrive home or while I'm there checking it the order is a complete disaster of what I asked for. How unfortunate Rosita's and it's previous owner and staff are no longer here providing Mexican food to this community. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The staff was so rude , there were two waitress and when i told them i wanted an order to go they stared at each other and rolled their eyes, honestly felt uncomfortable the whole time while waiting for my food, the food was great but the service is horrible it makes you never want to go back, personally for me I'm never setting foot again on this place i don't like to go to a place i don't feel welcomed.

1st and last time here… I ordered the Mexican plate with chicken enchiladas and a beef taco. Well they gave me cheese enchiladas and raw beef in the taco. The enchiladas had no flavor and the waitress never came back to check on us to let her know about the food! Waitress also seemed kinda rude.. I won’t be back I’m not sure how they have good reviews honestly.

First my eggs where under cooked then they brought it back with a hair on my plate and the waitress had the audacity to say it was my hair when I had my hair in a ponytail, Even a man across my table saw me pulling the hair off my eggs and said out loud return it back to them.I would not even give them 1 star but had no choice plus the waitresses got in a bad mood and made me feel uncomfortable had to leave. But wouldn't recommend it at all.
