First off, let me say that the menu has the perfect ingredients to make a burger any way one would like. The service of the entire crew is exceptional and they are all courteous. The atmosphere is perfect with great music playing overhead, however, the dining area could use some plants, to make it more appealing. Real plants are not necessarily, but perhaps some fake ones. The plants would make anyone feel like they are at home. Also, the rewards program is just what I have been saying all the time. All you have left is to provide WiFi for those people who come from either across state lines or out of this country to visit and enjoy those delicious burgers.

Whataburger has been my go-to fast food burger joint for many years and will continue to remain so as they have the best burgers around. The service is always friendly and fast. If a mistake is made they kindly fix the mistake no questions asked. I enjoy their burgers and service on a daily. Thank you Whataburger for all that you do to insure a great experience every time.

Do not order online!!! Seems like they push those orders behind the drive thru and curbside!!! I waited an hour not only today but a month ago!! The management needs to be upgraded to caring and positive people. Won't go as far as saying I'll never eat here again because that's not true.....but I'm deleting my app and staying away for awhile!! *****UPDATE 09/28/23***** not sure what changes they have made but I have no complaints. So much, that I'm changing the star level from a 1 to a 5!!!! They have been absolutely wonderful lately!! Even during busy times!!!!

Have to give a great job to these guys everyone including me wait till the last minute to show up right before 11 o’clock wanting breakfast and they want it right then they were super slammed and handled it very well Sunday at 11 o’clock and apparently Angleton doesn’t have very many breakfast places great job. I know it was stressful and hard not without its hiccups, but you guys did a great job.

This Whataburger was fantastic. Not only was the food the best ive had at any Whataburger, the staff was very friendly and they seemed happy to be at work. You can tell there was good team and good management. While we were there they had a rush and when it was over a manager shouted to the team how great they did. It was awesome to have my young son see this. On top of everything else the restaurant was really clean, including the bathroom.

My food tastes great. But I’m really writing this review because of the lady who helped me at the last window. I didn’t catch her name but it was a tall black girl with cute black glasses. She made sure I got everything I asked for and it was the best customer service I’ve had in a while. She also helped me pay with Apple Pay because I forgot my physical card at home. Thank you so much. I wish I had caught your name, you made my day with your service!

I got the honey chicken biscuit, biscuit was good, but the piece of chicken tender that was applied, was not fresh, I could tell that it was sitting in the warmer too long... but the meal is good, when fresh.

No matter what time we go the food is always wrong, the fries are always stale, the hamburgers are always cold. When we first came here it was great, but not now. I use to love Whataburger but this place makes me never want to go to any of them again. Absolutely horrible

Just a beautiful delicious breakfast at this Whataburger. I have never seen so many employees at one place, at one time. It must be a great location to serve the public. Customers from every walk of life were there, from blue collar, suits, everyday family & individuals. It was clean, peaceful & enjoyable & seemed to be so organized with every aspect-dining, takeout, delivery. Was very impressed. Looks like a nice place to eat, to work & serve the public. I realize no one can control any/every situation in any given day in especially in these times, but did want to share how enjoyable it was. Thank y’all

We placed an order for delivery not knowing it was past time for online orders to deliver breakfast. We waited for our order and it never came. We showed up at whataburger where the GM explained the whole online orders situation. She prepared our order fresh for us. Great service!

The people always so friendly and professional. Food most of the time is very tasty. Speed of service in drive thru is pretty fast. It does get busy and packed during lunch hours. Great sign but if want to eat inside go before or after lunch peak time. Highly recommend.

This store has improved immensely. My husband and I stopped going for a while since every time we came everything was wrong from the time to food and taste. We decided to give them another chance and I’m glad we did they impressed us. Before it didn’t matter if you did drive thru or curbside they would take forever. Now they get you in and out fast with great service. Thank you for making the changes this store needed.

In town for jury duty so stopped by bere for lunch break. The workers behind the counter were busy but courteous. A middle age black woman even came by to check and make sure I didn't need anything else while I was eating. I usually order their grilled chicken burger dry (no sauce) then add spicy ketchup to it. Today, 1 or 2 bites into the burger, I was pleasantly surprised to find the meat thick and juicy, spilling beyond the bun. One of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I've had-- better than McDonald's, Chic-fil-e at least. Maybe an anomaly but I like to give credit where credit is due. 5 star for good service, and an overall great lunch on the run!

The food is good, especially for a fast food place. The pricing isn't bad either. Check to see if they have any limited time/seasonal items. Those are good. Most times, it does take a while to get the food, but it's worth the wait.

Love What A Burger but sadly this one has customer service issues about 75% of the time. Last time I was there I waited 45 mins (I used the app so add 10 mins drive to that) for 2 burgers 2 onion rings and 1 fry. When I asked what the issue was I was told " we're just really busy" (they were not) then I was told "we are under staffed" nope just as many people as normal. Then I got my order... The fries and onion rings were great and hot ... But the burgers were cold ... Not cool ... Cold! Thankfully it is not always like this because this is the only one within 18 miles from my house.

Food is always excellent but they really need to get a handle on curbside pickup. What is the point of checking in at a parking spot with a number of they are going to come out 3 or more times to ask what your order is before finally bringing your food. This isn't a one time thing....has easily happened 7 times in last 2 months.

The food was good, however, it could have been better if it was right of the grill. Waited for almost 10 minutes when I ordered online an hour early. I arrived within the designated time I requested, but still had to wait and the food was not hot. I don't know what happened, I like Whataburger a lot. There possibly could have been a big rush or there was some sort of miscommunication in the back. Overall good, just could have been better.

It was late, I was hungry. 5 cars ahead of me I knew it was going to be a 45 minute wait, so I pulled out and went to taco bell instead. The food is usually good, but if there are more than 2 cars in the drive thru...forget it! Nobody has time for that kind of wait! I went the next day and got breakfast

Went to the drive-thru and had to wait about 30 minutes for our food at 3pm on a Wednesday. The food we got wasn't worth the wait. The cheese on our burgers wasn't even melted and the fries weren't fresh so I'm not sure why it took us so long to get our food. Giving 3 stars because our orders were at least correct and the employee working the drive-thru was friendly.

Ordered online, paid at counter. Asked specifically for fresh hot fries (they were barely warm). Had chili cheeseburger (also about room temperature) very disappointing. Compare advertised photo of burger to what was received, YUCK 🤢. The people working are super nice and was busy, especially drive thru but no excuses.

This location is always super slow, Im talking 30 minutes or more in the drive thru when its not even busy. Ive ordered a #1 from here a few times, and they dont even put a BUN on the burger. Its a piece of toast, because Im assuming they dont do their inventory orders so they have to replace a freaking burger bun, at a burger place... who should always have hamburger buns. Not only is it always super backed up, but the food doesnt taste fresh. Its mostly always cold, and the fries are cold, soggy, and neeeever fresh. Not sure if the regional manager needs to come and help this place out, but SOMETHING has to change. Ive never been to a whataburger that was THIS terrible.

Food is always good when they actually have things in stock. Our most recent experience was at 615pm on a Tuesday. Ordered two combos and a milkshake and it took 25 minutes to get the food. Food was good though.

Food was cold, onion rings were soggy, line was 20ish minutes at 2:30 in the afternoon. Line wasnt even very long, maybe 5 cars including myself. Whoever was at the window was lovely though. Definitely made the whole wait a little more enjoyable.

What a great 1st impression of this location. How is it I do a mobile order, so I know what was put on the order and they cannot follow instructions? Get all the way home almost 20 min later to realize they did not prepare the order correctly. Then I put in a ticket with customer care to get a message I should recieve a response in 2-3 business days. Welcome to Angleton Whataburger. My 1st and LAST time to frequent this location.

Did an online order for 9:44 am and didn’t receive it until 10:17 am! They forgot the cookie, and the fry for the kids meal! The whole reason was to get it on time to be able to eat with my niece at a specific time. Didn’t even have the time to go back and ask for what ordered.

Customer: Waiting for order. Waiting for 15 minutes. Manager: “I’m just in here, don’t pay any attention to me. Act like I’m not here.” Proceeds to sit in corner and NOT make sure her employees are working. After a few minutes goes to counter to distract her employees by talking to them about non-work related things. Customer: Figures since manager is at counter, maybe they will at least get an update on how much longer they’ll need to wait. Goes to counter and asks. Manager looks SUPER annoyed - but isn’t customer service what YOUR job is about?! Customer asks person working counter about their order. Employee: This person has been looking at customer THE ENTIRE TIME THEY’RE WAITING FOR THEIR FOOD. She goes to a CABINET on the bottom of the MAKE TABLE and pulls customer’s order out of it! Why?!?! Why was it in there?!?! Manager: “I know you didn’t just do that in front of me” while laughing hysterically. AND PEOPLE WONDER WHY ALL THE WHATABURGERS IN BRAZORIA COUNTY SUCK?! BECAUSE THE MANAGERS ACT LIKE CHILDREN TOO INSTEAD OF MANAGING THEIR STORES!!

Drive thru window threw the food at us with the drinks in it and they spilled it all over inside a plastic bag. This is completely unacceptable. I have never had this happen in my life that I was handed a soda inside a plastic bag because they’re too lazy to even clean the outside of the container, put lid on it.

Well today 1/4/ 24 I was the 9th or 10th vehicle in line at the drive thru, it took 40 minutes to get to the order window and additional 25 minutes to actually pay and receive my order. When I got to the window, I asked the cashier why it was taking so long, her reply was "I'm not really sure and we don't have the chili cheese burger would you like something else" WOW really, after looking in the window I counted at least 7 employees, so it couldn't be due to short of staff and apparently the manager was too busy to speak to customers

Ordered food at whatsburger last night. It was cold and I ask for no salt on the fries and they put salt on my fries. Tonight I gave them a benefit of a doubt and went back. I ask for no salt on my fries and again they put salt on my fries. I ask for root beer drink they gave me Dr Pepper and last but not least they didn't put the cookie I ask for in the kids meal. Food is too expensive to keep messing up your order.

Waiting 22 minutes in line with 3, THREE cars in front of me. They weren’t busy, my order was one sandwich, an order of fries and a drink. Not complicated, absolutely no reason it should have taken more than 8-10 minutes even with cars in front of me. I sat at the window waiting for 6 minutes after the other cars had left. If I was a manager, I’d be looking for new staff.

I am not sure why I keep returning to this place when we want to get food after midnight. I have tried pickup, curbside and now the drive thru to get my online order and all three times our order is never ready when the app shows it to be, food is missing, and now with the drive thru…worst ever idea. Food was to be ready at 1:03 so got in line and it is now 1:43 and I am still in line. Food will be worthless by the time I get it and get home - whatajoke is what this place should be called!!!

Burger thrown into its wrapper, bent, mashed and pickles/lettuce falling out. Clueless, unhelpful staff, took until my meal was cold to get the ketchup, salt & pepper we asked for but didn't receive and we had to get up twice to go chase it/them down. Plenty of hands, not much help. Dumb looks are free, the food certainly isn't and their attention to the Whataburger brand nonexistent. Seemed they didn't care. Won't be back!!

Did a curbside order today it was for three water meals, large size with three large drinks and two of the meals were chicken strips and I paid for an extra chicken strap. First off. They come to curbside Hispanic lady with glasses on to bring my curbside order out with three large drinks and I told her I don’t have room for them. I need a cupholder because she just brought them out. She just stand there looking at me doesn’t say nothing forces me to take the drink even though I’m holding them in my arms, and bring my food out when you bring my food out. The food is missing the extra chicken strip and both meals and then white gravy gravy which I did not because half the time they put the lid on correctly and it spills and my kids do not like country gravy When I told her this, she wrote her eyes and grabbed them box from the chicken strip meal and didn’t say none to me just walked into the store if you hate your job that much get a new one I complain to corporate, but I surely will not be going to this Whataburger ever again and Angleton and I went frequently. I’ll start going to Lake Jackson . She also had a name tag that said that she’s a trainer, but no name for her on it Training your employees you better get new management and a whole whole turnover of that store because this was really crappy service and not communicate or to think that I would just automatically be able to carry three drinks and I have a disabled plate on my car guards because I do not have any strength since I have injured arms and I’m just supposed to carry these by myself back into And I guess drive while I’m carrying three drinks in my arms is really crappy. I’m so disappointed in Whataburger at least Angleton location.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. I have ordered several times from there and each time is absolutely horrible. The curbside orders take 30 minutes to over an hour with you sitting there waiting on your food while the employees just sit inside. They forget to put your food in your order. Forget about ordering online for delivery. No one will deliver it and when you try to call for status, the manager and workers are completely. rude and claim they cannot issue you a refund. Absolutely ridiculous. Horrible

Waited over 35 min. For our dinner. Everything was cold, and honestly looked old. I thought I was waiting for my food to cook, but it wasn’t even warm. Before anyone says well you should have cooked at home. Yes I should have but it was a busy night for my family. It’s just sad when we spend over $60 on food for it to be old and nasty. Never again.

I purchased 2 orders of chicken straps. We opened up the boxes at home to find the smallest chicken strip I have ever seen. Each chicken strip measured a little over an inch. I called Whataburger and they said I could get another order. I drove 10 minutes back to the store and waited 10 more minutes for 3 chicken strip and they nicely threw in a piece of toast. Ridiculous

Went through drive through only car at the time ordered my food. Ask for no salt on fries. Lady told me to pull around they will bring my food out. Sat there for 10 minutes before they brought my food. The fries was not hot and so was the burgers. My food should not have been cold. My fries should have been steaming hot but they was not. Plus we didnt get any straws for the drinks. This use to be a good whataburger but now it's just sorry. Not gonna eat there anymore.

Waited 5 min for someone to come to the counter. Waited another 14 min to get the pancakes and bacon that I ordered. Bacon was ice cold not even an attempt to warm it up and had towns were cold. And to top it off. The tea was soured. Got my money back. This is a direct reflection of bad management. Worse Whataburger experience ever.after reading the other reviews. All employees need to retake food handlers course and health dept needs to do a random inspection. Food is supposed to be hot. This is a really bad reflection on the franchise and should be investigated.

The curbside service is ridiculous. They always take over 30mins to an hr after the recommended time of pick up. While inside there’s no sense of urgency or as employees continue to hold a conversation with friends. 1hr + wait to just receive an incorrect order. I never have any issue at any other site such as Clute, Alvin or lake Jackson.

Easily the worst Whataburger in Texas, and this has been my hometown location for decades. They NEVER get an order correct, on time, or complete, EVER. I get tired of going to any other location in the area and it's great. It doesn't matter who the crew is, or who the manager is, they just can't get it right.

Went on Saturday night and there was no long line. The wait was ridiculous and when we got our food we were missing part of our order. I was told it was going to be fresh and sure enough when I got the rest of the food it was cold. I did not care to have it fixed at that point. Hope for better service and food next time.

This location is fighting for top place in the worst Whataburger competition. Every time I’ve been here it’s been a terrible experience. Last time I had to wait 45 minutes, this time was only 25 but they had no straws, the gravy cup was only 1/3 full so it wasn’t enough and the fries were lukewarm at best. On top of all that it’s never clean inside. Literally go almost anywhere but here

For more than 30 years I have lived in Texas eating the occasional guilty fast food meal. I specifically have a fondness and nostalgia for the taste of a warm, fresh, double Whataburger w/ cheese. Never (and you can check my other Google reviews) have I gone out of my way to leave a bad review at a fast food restaurant. I have worked in the food industry, so I have empathy for the difficulties of working in a restaurant and understand that bad days happen. A couple of bad experiences can just be unlucky. Things happen. I can say with confidence this is easily the worst Whataburger I have ever been to. I would go far as to say it is one of the worst repeated fast food restaurants I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. At least 10+ times I have ordered at this location since moving to Angleton. Mostly ordering through the mobile app to avoid an extended wait time in the restaurant. Not once has my order been ready within 30 minutes of the expected time. Not once has my food been fresh or even moderately warm when I received it. Often it is missing obvious things like cheese that is ON THE RECEIPT given to me with the order. I have many times ordered through the mobile app, waited to leave my home beyond the expected ready time (because they have screwed this up so so so many times), then arrived at this Whataburger only to wait an additional 45 minutes to receive cold food that looks undercooked and downright disgusting. Patties are never seared, look greyish-green and sometimes are gelatinous in texture. Of the sort that I have been concerned about getting sick if I eat it. More than once, I have stood at the counter for 10-15 minutes before being asked if I need help or even simply being acknowledged. All while managers stepped past me to go out into the dining area to play and talk with friends they know. How is this the case when you are incapable of preparing orders in any sort of reasonable timeframe? Many of these times there were 3 or fewer cars in the drive thru, and fewer than 3 tables of customers inside. No excuses. If you frequent Google reviews, you are probably aware that District, Regional or even store managers will peruse negative reviews and reply to them. Trying to make things right with a dissatisfied customer. If you look through the negative reviews for this location, you will see no such effort. A plethora of recent 1 star reviews. No acknowledgement. No attempt to make things right. No improvement. Sustained ineptitude. I would say I have no idea who is running this sad excuse of a Whataburger, but luckily the mobile app tells me that the "operating partner" is Lisa Allaun. I feel bad for the very few employees that have been kind to me throughout these bad experiences. If a member of leadership (I'm looking at you, Lisa) does end up reading this, you should be embarrassed. You've been at the helm of a pathetic example of what Whataburger is supposed to be. I couldn't imagine this being someone's first experience at a Whataburger. It takes real talent to let things get this bad and even greater talent to be so consistently horrible. I recommend that everyone avoids this Whataburger. You are better off driving to another town if this is what you are craving. If I could give this location a negative star review, I would. Because, honestly, 1 star is far too high. I hope this changes one day, as I would love to have a decent Whataburger experience in the town I frequent. Be better.

They sucked I mean they were well under staffed they didn’t ask us what we wanted for our kids meal. Gave us gravy instead of ranch. They took so long to even bring us our order. There was people inside who were also complaining. They just need to be well better organized. And the manager was dealing with cash then went over to touching peoples fries. I wasn’t happy at all.

Waited 40 minutes in the drive thru line when it was pretty much empty for 2 breakfast meals. And when I got home there was shaved hair all in my bowl.

Placed an order containing 5 sandwiches in total. Had to wait in a parking spot, no big deal. We received our order, only to find 2 sandwiches. Go inside and tell them it's wrong. They take it back. About 10 minutes later, I received the new order and took it back to my vehicle to check it again. Still missing a sandwich. Go back inside and tell them it's still wrong, that it was missing a #7. About 10 minutes later, a trainer and the cook came out confused, complaining they had already had to fix it twice and didn't know what was wrong. I could tell they hadn't even checked because meals were still piled in the bag as I had left them. So I had to take all the sandwiches out and use them to count for them, like you would a child learning to count. It's ok, I know counting to 5 is hard for some. A bit later, they brought out my order. We get home and start to eat, but guess what, they still got a sandwich wrong. While sitting inside, waiting for my correct order, I saw several people there getting theirs corrected.

This place need to just be shut down. Everytime you go there it's something wrong. You got kids trying to manage kids, let alone the manager was never management material to begin with!!. Just pitiful I'll drive to lake Jackson before I go back here. Anybody that burn food set to a timer it's sumn wrong wit chu ijs.

This place could screw up a wet dream, I’m pretty sure the only qualification for employment here is to have a pulse. Don’t ever just assume anything about your order is correct and unless you got a minimum 45 minutes to wait don’t dare go through the drive through

Very disappointed with the service here. My order was wrong, and when I called to have it corrected, the manager was incredibly rude and condescending. Everyone makes mistakes, but there’s no excuse for treating customers that way.

Do better at actually giving people their order & what theu paid for...2 large French fries & when I opened the bag this is what I got...neither one a full order & one looks like someone ate half & then put it in the bag...and no I didn't eat any on the way home...both the outside drive thru attendant & the one at the window were nice & it didn't take 30min to get through the line...both of which are why I've not gone to this location in about 6 months

Stopped here after a weekend at the beach. Went through the drive through and was told to pull in stall 3. Someone else was in stall 3. A white chevy pickup. So I park in the regular parking lot. Im in a blue jacked up ford with a 4wheeler in the back. (Hard to confuse with another vehicle). Waited 20min before going in to see whats going on. Asked , im still waiting for my food. They said what stall were you in? I said I eas sent to stall 3 but that white pickup was there. They were like ,oh! Hes got your food. We all look at the pick up and sure enough, homie is sitting there chopping on my patty melt. They said they would remake everything fresh. Ok so you dont serve fresh food all the time? Lol Anyway, it took a total of 50min To get my food. We didn't get home until after dark. And we fed a homeless guy in a white truck. But we did catch some nice fish. 😉

The burger beef tasted old, and it looked like its was days, and i found a piece of a hair inside my burger, this is getting annoying when i always find hair in my food, i almost took a bit of the burger, and i would have swallowed it, yall should be careful before taking a bite of your food, and take a look if you find any hairs in it. 🤢

This location is a sorry excuse of a Whataburger. I used to have no complaints but lately quality has decreased significantly. You wait in a welfare line for 15 + minutes, only to receive fries my 10 year old could have made in the air fryer and a burger I’m sure SpongeBob could have made better. The girl at the window was nice, great customer service. Not sure what is happening in the back but it needs to change immediately.

What the heck is going on here. Really what happened? There’s always a wait now. The last 2 times my order “disappeared” and I waited approx 30-45 min for food. The employees have an attitude because it seems they’re short staffed. Like what happened? Management needed. Please fix because there isn’t many places to eat around here. There’s dirty tables and food everywhere and food and underneath appliances. These fries were out of box yet employee pulled more from back and dropped instead of using new box on floor that didn’t seem frozen anymore
