Some of the best burgers in town! If you’re felling adventurous, have the Monster Hippo. This time I went with a bacon cheeseburger with blue cheese crumbles and a vanilla milkshake, so good !

I got the reg. Hippo burger w/ reg fries. It was great. I will definitely be going here again. My wife had the jalapeño bacon burger and chili cheese fries and a cookies and cream shake. It was all so delicious. I very rarely give 5 stars. But they deserve it.

Burger had great flavor and was fresh. Cajun fries had good flavor and appeared to be fresh cut. The lemon pepper wings were hot and crispy with the flavoring inside the wing. Great tasting food with friendly service. Will be returning again.

A little pricey but most fast food is these days. A good variety of choices on burger styles and some non beef options like chicken and ham as well. Intrigued by the fried pickles and cheese sticks but that was too much food for today's lunch visit. Great service and the restaurant was older but clean and well taken care of. Will definitely eat here again.

Been wanting to go here for years now. Been getting there coupons in the mail for the longest. Anyways the first time, I finally head here. Ordered the #3 (I believe, if I remember) I've been told that their burgers are big & greasy. Which is true, but the one thing I wasn't told, was that their burgers fall apart in you hands. Still a great burger though. I'll definitely be back.

Heard about this place from freaking tiktok! They did not disappoint! Mushroom chicken sandwich was ON POINT! Juicy, slightly messy, cheese perfectly melted to perfection, mmmmmm! Side of Cajun fries of course! Everything was hot served, didn’t have to wait for it to cool down because then it wouldn’t have tasted that good!!!

Nice diner with 80s throwback music. Super satisfied with the great selection of fries from Cajun, chili and cheese, to sweet potatoes (plus more). My mushroom and swiss burger would have tasted better with BBQ sauce, but just half the burger and my fries filled me up!

Great place for some hamburgers. The dining room was nice and clean and spacious. The staff were very nice and helpful. The prices were very reasonable especially when you consider the quality of the meal and overall portions. The hamburger size was what i would call on the large side and probably can share it amongst two people. Otherwise i bet you cant eat the whole thing. Very delicious hamburgers here and certainly will come back.

The burger was good but a bit messy, and the fries could’ve used more cheese. The staff was friendly, which I appreciated. However, the parking lot really needs cleaning and has potholes that should be fixed. The biggest downside was the price, almost $50 for two combo meals, which just doesn’t feel worth it. Culver’s is more affordable, has better flavor, and the environment is noticeably cleaner. Hippo Burger isn’t my go-to, but I’d consider coming back once in a while.

The entire experience was mediocre at best. The food seems like it was pre-made, then warmed up or kept under a heat lamp, like a fast food burger. Definitely tasted like what you would find at Whataburger. So I don’t know what everyone’s raving about. I had the basic hippo burger and the number 3 (the special hippo burger I think that what its called) they were alright not the freshest taste. The Cajun fries were good though. The service was not the best, granted we where at a big table so it might have been hard to remember who got what. We had numbers for orders but they were not used and not very clearly established as order numbers. The waitress had seem to get lost in all the people and gave out the wrong orders multiple times. Atmosphere was alright…..I don’t know how old the place is but it definitely needs a face lift. It’s like Bobs Burgers IRL. The prices were fair, but that doesn’t justify the pre made taste of the burgers.

A YOUNG LADY THERE BY THE NAME RUBI HAS TRULY MADE THIS PLACE A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR MY FAMILY AND I. On multiple occasions, my kids and I were talked to and treated like minorities as a single mother handling kids, This dining experience turned very hostile, with much attitude, an order gone wrong and we were blamed for it, and after asking to make things right and talking with her I was told I was playing victim . From the food being done wrong to the all-around treatment and this person in particular we will never step foot in a hippo burgers again!

We've gone to hippo burgers many times and loved it. Our most recent dinner outing there was a very bad experience. Everyone's burger looked as if the meat was overcooked and had been sitting for a while... it was very dry and almost rubbery. Our fries tasted as if they were cooked a few times.... they weren't burnt, but they were just a shell... hollow. I asked the cashier if they could remake my fries, they came out slightly better. I just didn't eat them. I wasn't too hungry so I had just ordered a basket of fries. Once we left, my family said their food was not good either, but didn't want to complain. I'm not sure if their cooks changed, but you need to bring back the cook that made you the IT place again.
