We were delighted to experience a private cooking class with Chefs DJ and Efren at Cabo Wabo. The ingredients were prepped, the margaritas flowing and stories were shared. We made fresh guacamole, queso fundido and quesobirria tacos, as Sammy watched over us. This was a fun girls Sunday afternoon event but couples and families would enjoy it too. The food was delicious!

This was our first time to experience one of Sammy Hagar's resturants. The food was absolutely amazing! That was the best taco I have ever had. My husband and grandson's burgers were amazing as well. The establishment was beautiful. The service was top notch and so the employees were so friendly and fun. We will definitely be back.

Whether it was a perfectly crafted margarita or a fun chat about the local scene, they made every moment at the bar a highlight of our trip. If you’re at the Hilton, Cabo Wabo is a must, and don’t forget to pull up a seat at the bar with Gabriele and Oscar—you won’t regret it! 🍸🌴

I only had a frozen drink that I concocted myself based upon the choices present at the time. Upon sitting at the bar where the service was fabulous. I sat directly in front of 5 different premade virgin frozen drink options. I chose to mix a few flavors. Strawberry, Mango, and passion fruit. I asked for the bartender to surprise me with the type of alcohol I believe he picked Rum of some brand. Then I asked for a few limes and it was absolutely spectacular! I don't often drink any more. However, this particular drink was gobbled down😂

The entire staff, especially Travis was very friendly and prompt. Travis was attentive till the end of our breakfast. He made sure my family enjoyed our meal. Thank you Travis for being genuine.

The atmosphere was nice as it close to the beach. The food was great after a few hours in the waves 🌊. The waiter was nice, my vodka and cranberry was too weak and they took it back no problem and made me another. Fun place, would recommend for sure.

Casual dining with inside or outside seating. Great tacos and other Mexican favorites. The outside dining overlooks the pool so some noise is expected, but it was not distracting.

The quality of the food here was stellar, in a party that got seafood, tacos, and enchiladas myself. Was very, very tasty, the staff were outstanding. Not to mention the extremely addictive starter, the fresh tortilla rounds and the sauce that was served before ordering, I had to stop myself from eating too many or else I wouldn't have room for an entree, would definitely eat here JUST for that! This is a fantastic place, Sammy.

The flavor is awesome, just the right amount of kick. The bar prices are a little high but outside of that, a really cool spot for breakfast in the morning and a pre-dinner cocktail at the bar.

Wass really excited about going to one of my favorite rock stars place. What a disappointment. The atmosphere was very cool, the drinks were good but the bartender lacked a smile and good service. The appetizers came out 2 mins before our food. The food was really disappointing and my guests didn't eat most of their dishes. Usually, we laugh and have a great time, especially during a good meal, that didn't happen. We were trying to get our over cooked and tasteless meals fixed. It didn't happen. I still love Sammy and just saw his amazing concert at the Venue at Thunder Valley. It was an AMAZING concert and can't wait to see him again. Sorry Sammy for the bad review.

Cabo Wabo cannot be compared to The Boardwalk in the same breath. The service is phenomenally slow — I had to wait 40 minutes for my $30 “gourmet” burger — before being brought a masterpiece that I would be embarrassed to serve to my enemies. Not only was this burger not gourmet, with cheap burger buns and low-quality ingredients, but the patty itself was cooked way past well done (when I requested medium). I’ve stayed at this Hilton many times over the years and this restaurant is a true embarrassment to an otherwise great hotel. To add insult to injury, Cabo Wabo is now the ONLY restaurant open for dinner at the Hilton between Monday and Wednesday, so there is nowhere else to go. I came back for dinner tonight to give it another shot, and let’s just say that I’m not shocked that the restaurant was empty during what should’ve been peak dinner rush.

We made a reservation for 6 people for late lunch on June 9. We all arrived and the entrances were blocked and security personnel told us the whole building was closed for a private event. Why did the restaurant take our reservation? They even confirmed through OpenTable 24 hours and 10 minutes ahead of the reservation. We had paid for parking and walked a long way to get there. We were all very disappointed.
