Had a wonderful meal tonight with Sullivan’s boss, sumei and her families, partner and friends. I’ve been here as a guest for a couple years since 2016 I came down to so-cal from Bay Area . The owner sumei is already a friend for me as well as her families nowadays. Xiao long bao and dumplings are my favorites, plus delicious plates such as orange chicken and potstickers. Sumei’s service and attitude are the world class ! The restaurant won my 5 star review, I’d like to give one more star if google allows it. Thank you SUMEI！

Delicious, fresh ingredients, skillfully cooked - tea bar is a lovely compliment. Dishes are flavorful and well cooked instead of being hidden by heavy sauces. Onion pancake is a treat. Dumplings are lovely. Walnut shrimp and orange chicken are crispy without being overly sweet. Vegetables in every dish are super fresh. I don’t know how I have lived in HB so long without discovering Sullivan but, now that I’ve found it, it’s our go-to for Chinese food. Don’t miss the sizzling rice soup!

The Food here was GREAT!! Everything from the steamed soup dumplings, mongolian beef, orange chickem. The colors of the fresh vegtables were so bright & everything tasted fresh. Everything on the menu is made in house~ THE BEST!!! DEFINETLY RECOMMEND!!!

Me and my husband have been coming here for I think close to 10 years now. Their food is always so good! My favorite here is the hot and sour soup. I havent had a better hot and sour soup anywhere else I have been. They always give you such large portions and we are never unhappy with anything we have chosen to try. Definitely would recommend!

Ordered 3 different dishes... all were delicious!! Sue Mae is a wonderful host/ server... she provided us with great customer service. Gave us a dish to try on the house... #3 dumplings in a spicy sauce...OMG! Will be ordering them every time we go!!! The sauce is out of this world! We ate the dumplings & used the sauce on other items. Found a fantastic Chinese restaurant & will be going back there soon!!

Get the dumplings! All of their dumpling dishes are made from scratch. I highly recommend the pork dumplings in spicy sauce. The sauce is only mildly spicy and has a wonderful rich flavor. The Xiao Long Bao is nice but not as good as other places. The potstickers are great. The soups are rather flavorless. However I'm told that the Special Wonton Soup is different and better than the regular wonton soup. The rest of their Chinese food is nothing special.

Get the dumplings! All of their dumpling dishes are made from scratch. I highly recommend the pork dumplings in spicy sauce. The sauce is only mildly spicy and has a wonderful rich flavor. The Xiao Long Bao is nice but not as good as other places. The potstickers are great. The soups are rather flavorless. However I'm told that the Special Wonton Soup is different and better than the regular wonton soup. The rest of their Chinese food is nothing special.

I don't understand the good reviews - got sesame chicken for takeout and it was so awful I assumed there was some kind of mistake, so for the first time in my life I took my takeout back to the restaurant. I asked for pork fried rice instead and it's at least edible, but perhaps the worst I've had from a restaurant. I love Chinese food and get it regularly as an indulgence, but this was just a big disappointment. And it's pricey: $18 for fried rice? Or $18 for a chicken dish but it comes with nothing but the chicken - no rice and not even any broccoli or peppers or anything in it. Definitely will not go back.

We also ordered General Tso’s Chicken which was not spicy and the chicken was very mushy and not crispy, and we ended up throwing it away after only a few bites. We just could not stomach it unfortunately. On a positive note the white rice was perfect and the meal was ready and on time for pick up but that does not excuse the poor quality and taste of the food itself. Of course you are welcome to try it, however I recommend that you do not waste your hard earned money on this poorly executed and quite pricey Chinese food. I honestly do not understand the 4 and 5 star reviews this restaurant has received - perhaps there has been a change in staff.

We ordered takeout…absolutely the worst meal we have ever ordered from anywhere in HB and expensive as heck. For what?!! The hot and sour soup was awful and weird chicken and tasteless. Not even spicy! The main course was worst sauce ever…almost like ketchup! It was $40 and we didn’t even eat either dish. Hate to review so poorly but don’t waste your money or time.

Ordered the Chicken Fried Rice, the chicken was incredibly chewy and tasteless. Very gross. Same with my mom and brother's food. When we complained about the food to our server he just walked away and gave us the bill. To top it all off, the fortune cookies we got were all incredibly stale. Additionally, the food was very overpriced for the amount you get in general. One of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. Do not eat here, you're better of going to Panda Express or The Wok Experience.
