Outstanding! The service, the food, we had a very good time. Best corned beef hash I've ever had. And the potato pancakes, wow. The also have Real maple syrup, which is a Must Have since my wife loves pancakes. Oh and the pancakes were excellent. And the eggs were cooked perfectly. We are definitely going to be regulars here. Highly recommended. Oh and they have good coffee too. Also the Eggs Michael was great, cool sort of fusion between biscuits and gravy and eggs benedict. EDIT: 3/13/22 This was our second time coming here. They only know how to exceed expectations! Our server Joel was great, very professional. And the food is always outstanding. We had the dutch baby, and had to get the corned beef hash again. Highly recommend both!

This was my first time at this location. Very good, but I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here like the Pancake house in Whittier. I felt slightly rushed by the server because what I usually order (strawberry crepes) was out of season. When I said I know wanted a side of bacon she suggested a combo. She stood over me telling me the things I pointed out on the were not combos with bacon so I ended up with a IHOP looking meal. She just seemed like she needed to take my order right then without letting me take time to explore the menu since what I wanted was out of season. There is a different feel you get from a location that is original versus franchised. If you have gone to different pancake house in different states, the Huntington beach location has the franchise feel down to the menu & decor. Like I said very good but not a special trip, only if I'm in the area, and would not take a out of town visitor if they wanted something memorable about the OC.

Excellent breakfast food, unique ad ons for pancakes and waffles, such as special berries. They get so busy, servers can not always do everyone justice. Pricing quite a bit higher than many other places. Overall, a good outing.

We love the pancake house in Las Vegas, but have not been to another location. This location in Huntington Beach is very nice with indoor/outdoor seating options. The food and service were great, but I will say that the large orange juice is way overpriced for the amount you’re receiving. I highly recommend the 49er flapjacks and a side of bacon👍

First... expect to wait. We showed up on a weekday and didn’t really seem like they were that busy. There was 1 party ahead of us and we still had a 20 minute wait. Not sure it’s worth Longer than that, but that depends how valuable your time is to you. The food was delicious. The potato pancakes are a must. However we were disappointed in the staff. We had to prompt our server multiple occasions for things we had asked for in the beginning. It just seemed like she was over it and wanted to go home. I wouldn’t travel to far for this place. If your impatient like me there are other similar options in the area.

Great flapjacks and average pancakes. I would definitely recommend for the flapjacks as these were one of the best I ever had. The buttermilk pancakes were good... But not great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Good coffee. If you are in the neighborhood, then do pop in.

Chocolate chip pancakes are good, eggs Benedict was good, however the potato pancakes were tasteless...Couldn't even finish them... in all honesty I'd rather just go to cracker barrel for breakfast. Sorry, but its true, you get a better value and flavor. I don't usually trash talk or name drop other restaurants, but I overall I was disappointed 😔 and when I left I was unsatisfied wishing I had eaten somewhere else. Also they didn't have soap in the bathroom and an employee offered for me to wash my hands in the kitchen....so...no thanks, I appreciate the offer but that violates health codes. Thank God I had hand sanitizer on me. I won't be coming back.

I personally have gone to the Anaheim location. Now I know why. The bacon here is just regular store bought bacon nothing to rave about. I ordered banana pancakes and just got plain pancakes with sliced bananas on top. Something you can get at Ihop. Plus no hashbrowns. The gave out the tropical sauce before the pancakes. Also dont get the orange juice. Its not fresh squeezed. Its store bought. You can easily tell the difference. Once you have a great food experience and expect a certain quality of food you tend to expect it for the price. However everything here is more expensive than Anaheim. If you want to feel special eating ihop quality food for more money and in a different atmosphere, than come to this Pancake house location. But if you want food worth the money. Go to the Anaheim location where you get thick and huge pork belly sized bacon and where when you order a pancake they mix that ingredient in the batter and makes the taste astounding. And where fresh squeezed orange juice taste fresh squeezed and not store bought. Trust me the Anaheim location is worth the drive. Experience, food, and cost. You will not regret it.

Orders were NOT completed to request causing food toxication upon two of my breakfast guest. Wait staff must have been frustrated with group; in patiently speed up taking the order. Some plates were served with less than temperature request; to include tea and coffee. Atmosphere was nothing to speak of Average, much like a highway diner. In adequate parking. Would recommend the business owners review their Management personnel and train in professionalism.

Horrible experience here. Will never be back. Food was not well prepped. Eggs looked and tasted horrible. Pancakes are very oily and meaty tasting. Horrible service from waitresses. If you look poor or they don’t like to service your table, good luck getting their attention. Waste of time to eat breakfast here. Will never go back and I recommend nobody else does either. Place needs to be educated in customer service and food handling.
