My boyfriend and I came for dinner on a Friday night. We ordered beef rolls, pork pan fried dumplings, and beef & beef tendon noodle soup (with hand-torn noodle). Everything was delicious. I love getting their beef rolls whenever I come here and they don't disappoint. The beef rolls are crunchy on the side with the right amount of beef, veggies & hoisin sauce. The dumplings were crunchy and I appreciate that they were also juicy inside. The beef noodle soup has a slight peppery kick. The hand torn noodles in the soup were amazing and the beef was tender. Like others have mentioned, it's cash only so I recommend that you bring cash. 😊

I come here for the delicious chunky chewy handmade noodles. You can have it with a range of options, both with soup or dry style. The homemade hot sauces on the table are also great. Make sure you get to try!

Delicious food first a fair price. The beef roll, Dan Dan noodles and fried dumplings are excellent. Plenty of parking and decent service.

Excellent quality noodles. Dumplings were good too. The beef roll was excellent and tasted very fresh with the cilantro. I am looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other dishes.

Nice spot, bring cash but card is cool if you're bringing a party or having a date. Don't expect to split just use the Venmo/cashapp whatever trick. Very good quality here.

I thought their dandan noodles were perfectly done; hand pulled noodles with a nice heft of sauce. The numbing spice flavor and peanut butter wasn't overwhelming and it was savory and delicious. The beef roll is good, liked that the wrapping is thing and crepelike, and not too dough-y. It was a bit salty with more hoisin sauce though. Also liked that they didn't put too much onion in it. The Xiao long bao was decent, not the best I've had but still juicy. Cash only though, prices raised a lot after covid.

Every time I come to SoCal, I have to stop here. The Beef Roll and Dan Dan Noodle with their hand cut noodles are my go-to!

L

Quick, tasty, and reasonable... Handmade noodles are chewy, beef rolls are crunchy on the outside and beefy on the inside, and pork buns are juicy. You have to ask for diced jalapeno, Cilantro, and onion condiment to add on top of your beef roll. Drinks are decent, boba, too.

Whenever I come here, I always get the beef rolls and the lamb noodle soup with hand-torn noodles, they are the best! Their fried and boiled dumplings are really good as well. On each table is the best condiment, it's a mixture of pickled mustard, cilantro, and chili and it's the perfect pairing with their food. It does get really busy during the normal lunch and dinner hours, but if you go a little earlier, there's usually no wait. The beef rolls are great as takeout as well!

The beef roll is the signatures dish and is the best. The pork ribs noodle in soup is very tasty. Steam dumplings are good whereas the pan-fried ones are so so. The cold appetizer platters are good and served fast. Most of the cold drinks are made from some sort of serup and quite sweet. Price is reasonable and service typical of Asian restaurants.

101 Noodle Express has a nice selection of Taiwanese food and I really like that they are open pretty late. We were able to have a late dinner and the place wasn’t overcrowded. For an appetizer we had the beef tendon dish - delicious! We had the beef roll, which was also savory and delicious but I like to add lots of chili oil to kick it up a bit. The Dan Dan noodles are also pretty classic. They say it’s spicy but I didn’t even think it was mild. Lastly we ordered chicken cartilage on a skewer (bbq) and that was yummy - especially if you like the crunchy texture. Overall our meal hit the spot.

So much good stuff here. My wife and I go at least once a month to have their amazing dumplings and pork rolls. Service is generally fast and even if there is a line out the door, we usually get in pretty quick.

J

Good food. Beef roll was good as well as the mini pork buns.

H

They definitely make the best beef rolls, so that's a must. I tried spare ribs noodles for the first time today. Their soup broth was delicious so I took it to go. Must try the hand noodle (I think it means handmade)...so good. From previous experience, pan fried noodles and fried rice can be too oily.

Soo good, got the dan dan noodles and beef roll

My friend introduced me to this place a long time ago! And my go to order is the hand torn beef noodle soup and maybe a side of pan fried dumplings if Im in the mood. Don’t forget to add in the green veggies! I don’t know how else to describe the green thing. It’s like veggies but not pickled and it’s spicy but it’s not a sauce. This is the only place I found it.

E

Good Chinese food at reasonable prices. The Dan Dan noodles was a good portion for the price. The beef roll was pretty good, too, and the size was pretty big. The parking lot is not that big, so finding parking may be rough on a busy night.

W
Wang Yong Xing

A place to go if you are craving noodles and dumplings at the same time. I like this place because they have varieties of noodles that taste great and how you want your dumpling to be cooked, boiled or roasted on pan. You should try the shrimp and pork dumplings; it's deliciously wicked.

S
Steven Tang

Criminally underrated. Best Dan Dan noodles in LA by far and the only place that makes legit Chinese style and not the Americanized version.

C

The pork spare rib is absolutely delicious! The broth is very flavorful. Their beef rolls are also really delicious.

Always a good spot to grab a bite. The quality has been spot on. The restaurant was busy, which is always a good sign. The prices have gone up, which can be expected with all the money that been printed and given out, which makes the a dollar less valuable...I digress! We ordered a beef noodle, the famous beef roll, pot stickers, and the beef noodle soup. All dishes were tasty. It was a busy day for the wait staff, which did an exemplary job as only two were there this night. Overall, great experience, will continue dining here. These folks work hard so take care and be nice to these peeps...;)

I have been here quite a few times, I come here just for their spicy beef tendons, green onion pancakes, beef rolls, and, of course, their variety of soups. Love coming back.

J

This is one of my favorite places to go. I absolutely love their beef noodle soup, and the beef wrap. They also have a really good condiment if you’re able to eat inside that goes well with everything. Only knock on this place that I can think of is them not accepting card, but hey that’s what you expect in the 626 since they aren’t the only ones that take cash only. Also I wouldn’t expect any 5 star service. They ask you what you want. You order and you get your food.

A

Would highly recommend the beef rolls (Chinese burritos)! Ask for a side of the green sauce, which isn't really a sauce but it's chopped jalapeno, cilantro, and sesame oil. Sweet and sour soup here is pretty good too. Nice sized portions.

M
Micah Ma

The beef rolls here are THE BEST. They've ruined me for beef rolls anywhere else. The noodle soup is good too, as are the cold appetizers. Be prepared to wait if you come here during peak hours.

J
Jim Sherman

It's always good here. I get the beef roll and the hand cut Dan Dan noodles and life is good. The dumplings are great, too. You might have to wait, but it's worth it

A cool asian place out in the SGV. The food is solid and I've noticed that it is usually busy on weekend nights. The leek roll is solid and is a must try. The prices are decent but the portion size is good. The other cool thing is its right by a bowling place so make it a whole night.

R
Rob H

Great dumplings, even better scallion pancakes and beef roll scallion pancakes. We were pleasantly surprised with the takeout going very smoothly and quality holding up in the to-go containers once they got home. Cash only. Pre pandemic we thought the service can be slow for dining in, but well worth the wait. Decent boba tea options as well.

Tasty and open decently late Taiwanese style noodles and bread-y dishes. You know it's authentic and good when it's 90+% Chinese people speaking Chinese eating there. Get the beef rolls and add the hot sauce and vinegar on there. 💯

beef roll. Beef roll is a must. I’ve tried almost every beef roll in this area, and this is the best beef roll in the area. I also love their hand torn noodles in the beef noodle soup. Nothing fancy but the BEEF ROLL.

Excellent place for dumplings and noodles. Three of us went there for dinner and had the pork and shrimp fried dumplings, the beef roll, the pork and pickled vegetables noodle soup, and the stir fried vegetables. They were all delicious and very reasonably priced. We highly recommend this place for tasty food.

Yet another authentic Chinese restaurant to check out in San Gabriel valley area here in the city of Alhambra. My wife had seen this noodle joint on IG and of course we love checking out new places for Chinese eats. The rainy weather brings on the Noodle appetite and 101 Noodle Express did not disappoint. We ordered a feast even though we came for some noodles. Started off with some Dan Dan noodles, steamed / fried pork and shrimp dumplings 🥟. I got their eggplant and pork noodles in a light yet flavorful broth which was quite delicious for a new taste for me. We also got their Yang chow fried rice and chicken chowmein. Chicken chowmein was decent in flavor however they could bump up their fried rice game which lacked a bit. We were patient with their service because there was only 1 server who was quite polite and courteous to us. I felt empathy for her because she had 8 other tables to wait on (1 that had a party of 8) and that can be stressful while taking care of pick up orders and the phone ringing all at the same time. They could have staffed the restaurant with at least 2 more employees to allow a better form of service. The dining area was clean and organized. Their restrooms could have used a little love, like a little bleach down and air freshener. 101 Noodle Express would have gotten an easy 5 star rating if it weren't for a couple of setbacks. Otherwise the noodles here were quite delicious. We will be back to check out some more of their noodle dishes with soup.

Food is delicious and very authentic. I love the lamp soup noodles, light but very flavorful! The beef roll also very tasty and huge portions. Bathroom needs more attention though.

Quick Summary Good food, service can be a hit or miss (which is similar to most Asian casual restaurants), and plenty of parking at the plaza Food- 4 stars Beef noodle soup- pretty good brisket. Soup and noodles are decent. It's pretty standard and above average. Great that they give you an option of the standard or knife cut noodles lamb noodle soup- same as above Dan dan noodle- same as above. Highly recommend sticking with standard noodles for this one Beef rolls- these are pretty good. The skin could be crispier, but they do a good job with the beef rolls Service- 2 stars I feel bad because they were understaffed and appeared to have alot of newer workers. Food timing wasn't the best and had to ask multiple times for our order. It's not surprising, but expected a bit more Bottom Line Good Chinese noodle spot without much of a wait time. Service is a hit or miss. Beef rolls are what I recommend here

BEEF ROLL!!! Was amazing, that alone is 5 star! Spicy beef noodle soup was bleh, nothing special. DanDan noodle and dumpling was delicious. Price and service is on point. Worth a try.

C

I loved the mango smoothie here! It was delicious and I want to come back almost only to get another one. The beef rolls are popular here and I can see why, the beef is so tender and juicy, the crispy outer layer is fried I think. The dumplings are also pretty good and the portions for everything are decent for the prices. I also think the service was efficient and they took our orders and brought the food quickly.

Good portion size, decent food. We went here Tuesday around 9pm, most of their popular dishes like xiaolongbao, spicy dandan noodle already sold out. This place is the original noodle 101, solid quality noodle house, okay service.

M

Cash only Parking space is limited given the number of establishments in the area However, restaurant has spacious seating Ordered the beef noodle soup, pig ear appetizer, beef wrap and veggies Great spot to come with a large group!

B
Brad Foley

The portion sizes are huge, and the food quality is very good. I've been a bunch of times, and always enjoyed it. It's fresh tasting, nice food; nothing too funky or spicy. The beef roll is always excellent, and the mixed appetizers (eda mame and tofu, shredded tofu, pig ear, and beef tendon) is fantastic.

S
Stanley Yu

Late night snack. Service was accommodating. We ordered pork noodle soup with sour vegetables which was average portion size and decent taste. I've been here previously and felt the beef roll (Chinese burrito) was good value for the portion size and tasty.

H
Henry Kim

Good place to get authentic Chinese food (as said by my friend). The portion sizes are also relatively big, so don't make the mistakes my friend and I did where we ordered two side dishes and two noodle dishes, expecting to finish them all. For us, sharing a noodle dish and one extra dumpling dish would have made us both full. I'd recommend the fried pork dumplings and the beef noodle soup.

J
Juan Padilla

We've been to this restaurant quite a few times. We love the beef roll, pan-fried pork dumplings, and veggie pork soup dumplings. The waiters are kind and quick on getting your order.

M
Mccare Mao

Service is lacking and generally blunt. Dining room is clean and well kept. Food is great. The Dan Dan mian is a definite go to. I prefer the hand pulled version. Much better texture. Pan fried pork dumplings are good but ORDER AHEAD AS IN AS YOU SIT DOWN. THEY TAKE A LONG TIME. Juicy, porky and delicious. Caution, they squirt. No I'm not joking haha The fish dumplings are good. Get the large size. It's worth the extra bit of money. Soft, pillowy texture that almost melts. I don't really bother with anything else. I know some people go nuts for their beef rolls. I'll live without them.

p
prashant roy

They are still good but they discontinued boiled stemed dumplings. Also chive pockets used to better in past. I request management to continue steamed dumplings, its better than pan fried dumplings and many customers come here for boiled dumplings.

N
Nate Nguyen

I've been to the one in Irvine, and the Alhambra location is much more spacious, and the menu is same with same quality food. Definitely recommend the different dumplings, and especially the beef rolls. Avoid the stir fry noodle dishes (they're average). The noodle soups are good though.

K
K Lai

CASH ONLY! Great place for quick comfort food. They expanded the restaurant a few years ago so the wait was not bad at all. The cold appetizer trio (shredded tofu, marinated sliced pig ears, pickled vegetable with soy bean & marinated tofu cubes) was good as always. The broth for the beef noodle was kind of diluted, and the beef tendon overcooked. The restaurant was clean at a glance; average customer service. Plenty of parking spots in the strip mall.

J
Joe Cruz

Always have a good experience here. The food is quite delicious. The staff and servers are quite friendly and helpful. The food is served quickly. The staff are very attentive to your table and refills are only moments away. The restaurant is quite clean and immmediate seating has always been the case.

L
Lily

This place is remodeled and I almost didn't recognize it! I love the new modern and refreshed look it has now. Service is much better but you still need to try to flag for attention when they're not paying attention. The beef roll is just as amazing as I remembered! The onion pancake was nicely toasted and the thin slices of beef were seasoned well with hoisin sauce and cilantro. The beef was sliced well and wasn't chewy at all. Big portions, enough to share for 2. Free parking in the plaza.

M
M M

Their lamb noodle and the chopped cilantro sauce is the best. Reasonable price. Service is so so. Staffs does their work. That Hispanic guy who work here is the best server. I have to give him compliments. It is luck of a boss to hire such employees. That is how you get return customer. One star is taken out for hygiene. Utensils and floor are always dirty.

J
Jessica Ly

Alot of good options of dumplings and noodles. Also has a good selection of tea drinks

N

Food taste good, but a bit salty. Charges 3.5% for using credit card on to of the already high prices, but you do get good portion for the beef roll.

K

This is not the best restaurant in my list but my most visited restaurant. Their lamp hand made noodle is my must order. Their fired dumpling or beef roll were my next choice depending on how hungry I was. While most of the branches have similar quality, the fast food outlet in Culver City was a disappointment - they don't serve my favorites.

D
Didi Yap

The dishes we order were Steamed mini pork buns, Beef rolls, Hot and sour soup. They are delicious and reasonably priced. There's a waiting list to get a table around 6:30 p.m. and they only take cash.

L
L. Tran

Good, but a bit disappointed. I saw a long line for this place a while back. This time, we stopped by after lunch around 2 PM on a Tues. No line. Went straight in. Xiu Long Bao was ok, but not as thin and tasty as Din Tai Fung (I know not the same class), the 4 item appetizer sampler was decent, but a bit salty (my baseline is AJ restaurant in Irvine, CA). Beef soup with hand pulled noodles was ok. Portions were big, food was ok. Hence 4 stars. I would not travel from OC to this place for dumplings though. Not worth it after my first try.

T
Tiffany Bonbon

The noodles were amazing. Only the seaweed dish was not expected. It was really sour, soft and salty, we asked the waitress and she claimed that this is how it supposed to taste like. Even after I said that she should try it by herself, she still insisted that there was nothing wrong with the seaweed. All I can say is, maybe it's just us, but we chose to stop eating this dish. Again, noodles were great.

Great find. With so many choices in SGV, this place stands out as legit. Will bookmark

J
Justin Lam

Food was decent, I had the beef noodle soup with both boiled and pan fried dumplings. It wasn't bad but there are better places out there. Service was good, with the waitress being very friendly and helpful with descriptions, in addition to not needing to wait for seats. Atmosphere was alright.

A

I love their beef rolls and the scallions pancake. I will come back for these 2. Place is okay, a bit loud when it's packed. Ambience wise is not a romantic dinner place; more of family & friends eat our place. Noodles and dumplings I tried were okay. I haven't tried any other menu on the list. So il come back again to try more.

J
Jon Williams

I went on a Monday night after 11. I ordered pork and shrimp dumplings as well as a beef roll. They were both delicious. To drink I ordered an ice coffee which was average and my friend ordered a plum drink which tasted like BBQ sauce (not sure if that how it's supposed to be). The service was good enough, not over the top friendly. Everything came out quickly and the staff was courteous. The place is cash only but it's not expensive. Expect to pay $15 or less per person.

S

Surprisingly on a Saturday afternoon about 12:30pm, we walked in and got a table right away. The food selection is good. My nephews love it. However I thought the pen fried dumping and the mini bun aka (little dragon bun) is better at Mama Lu's Kitchen. The facility is neat and clean. no different then any other cafe style. I docked a star due to service wasn't all that great. The server stands there and he never acknowledged what I was saying, like I was speaking to a robot. He did get our order correctly thou. The busboy was much more friendly and quick.

M

CASH ONLY Good option for lunch! Parking lot is shared amongst other mall strip shops so it may be hard to get parking during rush hours. Staff was very courteous and quick! -Pig ear/beef tendon/ tofu cold combo appetizer was meh. Mixed with green onions & cilantro. Mild flavors. We drizzled chili oil on it to spice it up. -Pan fried dumplings: great texture and not too oily. #33 pork and leeks was a good combo. -#77 soup dumplings: comes with a good amount. Juicy but the broth was a bit tame. For two, we got super full from just these three dishes and had dumplings leftover. Will have to come to try their noodles next time!

R
Richard Sam

Food was quite good. Had the basic beef noodle soup with hand torn noodles. Noodles had good texture and the broth was tasty. They meet portions were quite generous and very tender. One thing was that wait staff was lacking service. Not offered tea or water, had to ask for more tea and the timing of dishes were off, i.e. got my soup way before our dumplings came. This is standard fair for Chinese/Taiwanese restaurants, but it's nice when you come across restaurants that do have good service. Overall,.it was good and would recommend this place.

A
Andrew Feng

First & foremost, this restaurant is a cash only establishment. Make sure you bring cash if you want to eat. Second, you must know it's good if a nearby restaurant, practically 2 doors down is empty while this one is bustling with people. There is a station for take out and also the same station where you pay your check. I had ordered takeout. I ordered the beef and beef tendon noodle soup with the hand torn noodles. You have the option of two types, hand torn or normal. The hand torn does cost about $1 and some change. To be exact it is $9.20. There is no seating area for those waiting on their takeout and the wait took approximately 10 minutes for two of the noodle soup and 1 beef pie roll. The portion is right with all considerations of the price and that it's takeout. The amount of noodle we received fit perfectly into the plastic container of soup. I personally thought the noodles could have been better. They didn't have the smooth noodle like texture I was expecting but the soup was great. They also provide you with many pieces of beef, though more tendon than beef but I didn't mind because I like tendons. Overall a great place that I would revisit for my traditional Chinese noodle fix.

K
Kevin Sewell

Some of the best beef rolls in town for sure! The beef soup though was a little disappointing. The noodles were excellent, the beef was tender, but the broth was just on the bland side, hence the 4 stars. Keep in mind this place is cash only.

J
Jang T

Really tasty place to eat! One huge plus is the fact they open late at night, usually until 1 am. Overall their food is great, my opinion their beef rolls are the best but their spicy noodles are also nice. Really good experience at a good price would visit again.

J
Jarrett Shelby McIntire

CASH ONLY. This place is serving up super authentic Szechuan cuisine. The dan dan noodles are super saucy and sweet, and the Szechuan chillies' numbing effects add a whole new meaning to sensational eating. The pork soup dumping are so plump and juicy, best eaten when dip into the chili, vinegar and soy mixing sauce. The wait between ordering and eating is the only thing that I would say was a little longer than I would've expected especially considering the kitchen didn't look that busy however for good Szechuan cuisine this is a spot to check out!

F

Every time we come here, we always order their beef roll. It's the best !

I used to go to the 101 Noodle Express in Atlantic Square all the time, but it closed. Then with COVID, I hadn't been back to this restaurant in years. Today, while shopping at 168 Market, I spotted it again and decided to give it another visit. Pulling into the parking lot, it was a little tricky to figure out the spaces since the lines were faded and it was dark. But since the restaurant was empty and there weren't any cars around, I figured it didn't matter much--so I just parked. I ordered my go-to favorites: Shandong chicken and onion pancakes. I noticed right away that the price of the onion pancakes has doubled since my last visit. They used to be about $4.50, and now they're over $10--OMG, inflation really hit hard these last 6-7 years! The Shandong chicken, though, was only around $12 back then and now is about $15, so that one didn't increase as much. Taste-wise, it was just like the good old days. I really love the sauce in the Shandong chicken--it pairs perfectly with the cucumber. The onion pancakes were still good, but honestly, I think they're overpriced now. Service was good, probably helped by the fact that I was the only customer at the time. When it came time to pay, the waitress asked me to pay in cash, but I didn't have enough with me. She reluctantly accepted my credit card. I'm guessing it has to do with how tips are shared when customers pay by card versus cash. Oh well--next time, I'll try to bring cash!

I
Ian Y

The restaurant uses polystyrene (Styrofoam) containers for takeout, which is very unfriendly to the environment. They also put freshly cooked food directly into the containers, causing the Styrofoam to melt and break from the heat. This is disappointing and concerning for both health and environmental reasons.

V
Vball213

It got pretty pricey to be honest, but I understand because of covid. One of the waitresses was very rude, but the other younger one was amazing. Actually spoke to us, very polite, and punctual! The food was good, but I don't think I'll be coming back here again any time soon. I just wanted my boyfriend to try their food. It was great before covid hit. When everything gets back to normal, I'll go again!

A
Alan Rodriguez

This ain't it...I came because of the recommendation of eater, but I don't think they are as good as they say. The beef rolls lack any real extraordinary quality, and they taste exactly what they look like: A flour tortilla with meat in Chinese spices, not a bad thing per say, but definitely not something worth waiting for and the ATM fees.

C
CC Pearl

This place used to be better but since they've opened up some franchises, they don't seem to care about service. They open till the wee hours of the night (I think 1 am for this location) but at 10 pm, they're out of Shao Long Bao (among a few other dumplings)? And they don't bring water or condiments after I asked twice? Food wise they are the same and still good enough to come back if I ever crave dumplings but their dumplings are average, nothing different like thin wrappers or anything. I actually prefer their thicker wrapper. So its all good

R

Noodles are meh. Beef noodle soup was so bland. Beef roll is prob their most popular dish. It’s good… but it’s just a beef roll. Never had a terrible one and never had an awesome one. Green sauce is a must.

We used to go to the one in Orange County but it was since closed. We were too happy to go to this one while we were staying in LA. When we arrived tonight, only 2 to 3 tables of customers. Service was ok bc the only server was busy doing other things so there is a small wait for service. As we ordered takeout, the beef rolls were only warm but the taste was still good. However, the pork dan dan noodles were just all right. Looks like they have to do better to get more business.

Stopped by for lunch because I was craving their hand-torn noodles. I forget which noodles my friend first suggested to me, but I ended up with the Minced Pork with hand-torn noodles. Even after I took the first bite, I was still unsure, but I still enjoyed the flavor of it. There was a good amount of protein inside, with some fresh cut cucumbers to give it a refreshing taste. Although the flavor was good, the noodles weren't as great as I remembered. The noodles seemed a bit too thick as I would have liked it to be a bit thinner. *Cash only! (ATM available inside)

Foods were okay, it was a bit pricey for me tho. The pork xiao long bao was dried and bland 😞 Hot and sour soup okay but it wasn't spicy or sour ( added some vinegar and it turned out 💯) Dandan noodles was good, tasty an chewy noodles. Love the beef rice 💖

Beef rolls are good. Xlb is Mid. But what takes the cake away is that they use MSG in their beef noodle soup. I might as well eat salt water with my noodles. I had to separate the noodles from the soup to make it edible. This place used to be filled with people and delicious food, but now it’s a shadow of its former self and I wouldn’t recommend it.

CASH ONLY means they have an ATM there to rip another $2.50 from you. Getting a card machine shouldn't be difficult there are many low cost POS systems that can handle card transactions. At no point was I told cash only until time of transaction. However aside from that. Service was prompt. I saw a lot of cleaning preformed. I was addressed near immediately and was given proper time to figure out the menu.

Cash only, waiter could not explain the menu. In other words. The food was just average. The thai tea they mixed it for you It was water down. Taste it like water with sugar. Food was served cold, salty, and greasy. The pan fried (leek and pork) dumplings were okay, not bad and they don't come with anything else. I just wonder why were watery inside. I been here twice and same experience. Btw...The restroom needs improve almost no water pressure to wash hands.

must use cash / zelle / venmo for purchases under $50. overpriced for what it is, and service is not very good.

I’m sure this place was good at one point. I do not think this is a top ranked noodle place today. We ordered the top rated beef noodle soup. The noodles were good (texture). But the soup had, other than the saltiness, no taste. The celery dumplings were good, but there wasn’t much of celery taste in the filling. Not enough side dishes or regular dishes (if you’re going to have rice) to order from the menu. I think this establishment is trying to make up their shortcomings with these sweet drink concoctions. If you’re coming here for noodles, leave your high expectations at the door.

Literally just came in. The restaurant is empty and they have the waitress doing everything by herself. There's no one that does the drinks or the orders.. literally sitting here for 10 minutes waiting to get any of knowledgement but none is coming. I don't think we're coming back.

Got beef rolls to go, the waiter gave me someone else’s beef roll, saying it was still fresh. When I tried it 5 mins later, it was lukewarm, it had been sitting. The roll was no longer crispy but chewy. Don’t make the mistake I did and trust the waiter, check the order before leaving

One of the best beef rolls I have even tasted. However, the reason I am giving it a two is because I also got the Pork Pan Fried Dumpling which was very mediocre, it seemed like something I can get from a frozen food section. Can you believe 6 Beef Rolls and 10 Mediocre Dumplings come up to $30? Please change the price tag on google to $$

We ate here 12-24-24 for lunch and got so sick for over 72 hours after eating lamb noodle soup, pickled mustard greens (side dish), and beef rolls. Coughing and throwing up everything daily, diarrhea, body chills, fever, can’t eat or drink. All tasted good but we are never coming back. The lamb soup smelled funny but we didn't think anything. This is the only food we ate and we never got sick from food for decades. Be careful of stale lamb or beef meat, or cooks and wait staff handling food who are not hygienic after bathroom use. Hard to know how we got so sick. The bathroom is dirty. Several reviews mention this. It's difficult to know if it's the staff and not washing hands or stale food or contaminated food. Cash or Venmo only.

My girlfriend and I are not new to Asian cuisine, so unfortunately I must leave a bad review on both food and service. We ordered ox tail noodle soup, beef wraps, and lamb dumplings. The soup lacked flavor and we where only given 3 bones with barely any meat on them. The beef wraps where excessively salty which masked the flavor, and the dumplings where undercooked. I don't expect a red carpet to be placed in front of us as we walk in, though I couldn't help but feel an unwelcoming atmosphere.Though the restaurant was not at full capacity, with plenty of tables available for 2 all across the restaurant, my girlfriend and I where sat in a corner booth, next to the bathrooms. The booth hid us from the rest of the restaurant, nobody could see us and we couldn't see anybody. When it came time to pay we offered a debit card to which the waitress replied "cash only" and walked away. We looked at our phones to find the nearest bank to withdraw the money and as I was walking out to head to the bank I noticed that the restaurant had it's own ATM machine. I couldn't understand why the waitress didn't bother to tell us that they had an ATM. We took the hint to never come back .

This restaurant is bad! The male waiter got my order wrong. I told him that I wanted thin white noodles, but he gave me curly yellow noodles! I came here at 8pm and the food did not come. I had to wait a long time. The food arrived at 8:45pm. The pork ribs were not well cooked. Also, the restroom is dirty and smells bad. When I went home, I had to go to the bathroom after 1 hour. The food was not well cooked. I had to go poop. Don't eat here.

Worst beef rolls, noodles and service! DO NOT COME HERE. I’m not sure why so many people are recommending this place since there are a variety of better places to choose from (dim sum house!). The beef rolls were dry and lacked flavor. No cucumber and the cilantro wasn’t fresh. The noodles are 13.50+ per bowl but they taste average. Don’t even get me started on service. The servers were very rude and every word was said with disgust. We tipped them well, though, bc we definitely won’t be back!

Have been here for a few times. But the food is not as good as before. Ordered a bowl of seafood noodles. The noodles were in small pieces, short, they didn’t make new noodles, they just looked like left, old ones. Felt so uncomfortable after eating the noodles in a hurry while being so hungry. But still paid the tip for the girl, she was nice. Won’t come back again
