Krisp Fresh Living is a popular spot in Irvine known for its unique and delicious drinks. The strawberry matcha and banana latte are highly praised. Some customers have noted a lack of personal service due to the self-ordering kiosks.
Tip: Use the self-service kiosks to place your order. Be aware that you are prompted to tip even when ordering at the kiosk.
1. The latte definitely had some flavor of banana! The drink had a nice blend! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! There is a lot of people in the shop! 3. The staff were friendly and timely with my order! It took less than 10 mins! Note: There are two self-order kiosks! Photo: Banana Latte
Nice and calm coffee and juice bar with smooth jazz playing over the speakers. A nice place to study or just relax. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I tried their Decaf Butter Rum Toffee and it tasted really good. I loved the sweetness of the toffee and the hint of rum.
I stopped at Krisp Coffee in Irvine with a buddy last minute and this place completely caught me off guard. I was not expecting it to have one of the best strawberry matchas I have had and honestly I think it is better than some of my favorite spots like Caffe in Coffee and Daydream Coffee. The matcha was smooth and not bitter at all and the strawberry syrup was the perfect balance. Not too sweet, not overpowering, and just the right mix of creaminess, strawberry flavor, matcha, and ice. I downed the whole thing in seconds and have been raving about it ever since to my other matcha friends. Everyone who has tried it so far agrees this place makes some bomb matcha. Definitely a new go to spot for me in Irvine.
A delightful coffee shop with excellent acoustics and soothing background music. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for relaxing or chatting. They offer a wide selection of rich chocolates and fresh pastries — each one a treat. Highly recommended!
I brought three of my adult kids and we enjoyed salads, avocado, toast, and a bowl. It was all very delicious with lots of fresh ingredients. We dined outside on the patio while my daughter had her dog with her which was very convenient. There was nice music, playing, and, the restaurant and restaurants were clean and inviting
The Truffle honey avocado toast and Cacao Bliss açaí bowl were deliciously flavorful! The blueberry match is perfect; not too sweet with enough earth tones from the matcha. Lastly the white macadamia oat latte is one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. It’s also a great spot for working. They play nice ambient music in a peaceful atmosphere. There’s a good chance I’ll become a regular at this spot!
🍵Krisp has the best matcha in the town. I’ve tried all of their matchas and let me pull out for you⬇️ ▫️Strawberry matcha ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is the best worth-to-try drink I’ll recommend if you only come here once. Rich matcha taste with strawberry jam. This combination is wonderful. Not very artificial sweet it’s fruity sweetness. My favorite all the time. ▫️Rose oolong matcha ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Real rose flavor and oolong blended. It still has very strong matcha taste. This drink has the best smell. I will give this 4.5/5 (star emoji doesn’t allow me to do so) the only thing there is nothing you can chew it from the drink. ONLY Liquid matcha. ▫️Signature matcha ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not bad. But other two are too iconic 😁if you like traditional definitely go for it !! ▫️Blueberry matcha ⭐️ SO MIDD. Probably others are too good. My other friends also dislike it. 🍵 Any matcha with almond milk is my choice cause it best keeps the matcha flavor and makes the drink refreshing. And 🥑any avocado toast is not bad but it is just a little pricy.
I am pretty serious about my coffee. I don’t want syrups or flavoring or anything else. Just espresso base drinks. Because these take more expertise, I am often disappointed. Crisp passed my standards for coffee. Espresso shot was not burnt and the milk was velvety smooth as it should be. So many people get the milk wrong. The music was calm piano. They need a few more soft seats. It’s near offices so probably it’s not an issue for the regular customers who I assume come for 15 minutes and then rush back to the office. Good job Krisp!
Excellent coffee shop! Great selection of specialty drinks, espresso drinks and teas! Self service ordering, touch screen menu and payment. Fresh pastries: I highly recommend their Nutella croissant, and the eggs nest avocado toast!
I go here most everyday to take a break from my work from home business :) The staff are always friendly. The vibe with the music in the background creates a nice short getaway. I usually get the Green tea Matcha and its always delicious. Much better than Starbucks!
Amazing amazing matcha—seriously the BEST matcha in Orange County!! I’ve been all over to find the matcha spot and Krisp is always number one. It can’t be topped. The avocado toasts are also delicious and there’s plenty of options. The pastries are awesome and the atmosphere is excellent. Every wait has been worth it for such consistent quality that never disappoints. Deserves more than five stars—please try Krisp out! :)
Loved this little coffee house. Everyone was top notch on custom service, they had a ton of options from coffee, to tea, to smoothies and even vegan and gluten free dessert options. Highly recommend! I hope we can swing by for another treat before leaving California.
This might be the best coffee on earth. I promise it's the best coffee in the area. Parking can be difficult a lunch time but I walk here. I walk past other coffee shops on my way and this is worth the time every time.
Ok... The final straw that broke the camels back for me to leave this review was the super delicious salad I ordered from here. The chicken was so tender and fresh. Everything in my dish was fresh and delicious. Please support this place. They definitely deserve it for all their hard work.
I've been "shopping" around for an (almost) daily coffee shop to go to. I've tried lots of local shops and cafes and I think Krisp is my favorite. Their specialty lattes are amazing, and it's really quick to get one if you use an order-ahead app like Ritual. Otherwise, it takes a long time to order and get your drink. My favorite is the honey lavender latte with oat milk. The honey with the oat milk mixes really well for a honey oats kind of taste and then that punch of fresh lavender just balances and completes the drink.
The food here is great. I always get the Lime Cabana bowl and the Mayan mocha. Sometimes its busy and it will take a somewhat long time to get your food. Also, it is relatively expensive; a little over $20 for a great breakfast. Worth it!
The croissants and smoothies and pretty much everything here is amazing! I wanted to leave this review for the past times i’ve been here, there is always someone who asks if theres any assistance needed or questions about anything and I think it is the owner who asks. But either or, amazing ambiance, amazing service. Will be coming back!
Got a latte and acai bowl here. Both were yum, always busy though and hard to find no parking. Good portions and plenty of seating.
I’ve been ordering delivery from Krisp (via postmates) every other week or so and it is consistently excellent! Their coffee offerings and matcha are delicious and their food is always fresh and made with care. My favorites currently are the tuna melt and the berry orchard acai. The acai blend for this particular bowl was sweet and tart without being overly sweet and the texture was velvety smooth.
I was looking for an internet cafe near me and saw this place on Yelp! I'm completely in love with this place. It's so clean and the menu has a wide variety of things. There's coffee, smoothies/acai, breakfast, lunch, and pastries. There are a lot of seating area and the internet is quite fast. I'd definitely come here again. Since it was my first time, the staff was completely sweet and helpful. They recommended I start off with a Berry Orchard (16 oz - $7.50, 32 oz - $12.50). The 16oz was quite filling and it was delicious! The fruits were sweet and not too sour, and everything was blended very nicely (not too melted). They gave the acai bowl in such a cute presentation. I wished it came out in an actual bowl instead of a cup though. Would definitely recommend! I'd like to try out a different bowl next time I'm here. Oh! And choice of music is 100/10! Postmodern Juke Box is amazing.
Great place for tea and study. Wish they had longer hours on the weekend. My favorite drink is the Sea Salt Jasmine Cold Brew. Strong tea with creamy texture and subtle sweetness and saltiness - highly recommend.
This is only my second time to visit. Both times I had a great experience. The staff are very helpful when ordering and have great suggestions. Fairly priced. Pretty quick service even for an early work morning.
Got the avacado toast birds nest and it was very very good. Perfect toast and all the ingredients went very well togeter. Refreshing and still filling. Got a tea that was good but I dont know if it had sweetener in the tea bag or it was added but I could have done without the added sugar. Even with that it was still very good tea.
I've come here for weekend breakfast many times now. I can usually get the last table inside but there is always outdoor seating available. Love the lattes, caprese avocado toast and acai bowls. Ordering is done via convenient touchscreens, though someone always seems ready to help if needed.
Nice ambiance, friendly staff, and good food/drinks. I had one of their açaí bowls and it was really good, their menu offers a lot of options and all of the ingredients were fresh. Going back next time to try their drinks and coffee!
Love, love their superfood bowls, and smoothies. They have the best among several others I’ve tried. Now became a regular. If you like chocolate, I recommend trying their cocoa bliss superfood bowl.
I’ve liked everything I’ve tried here: breakfast burrito, iced matcha lattes, and iced lattes! The Oreo latte is unique and delicious. I’ve tried both the strawberry iced matcha latte and the blueberry iced matcha latte which were both wonderful. 10/10 on the food and beverages so far. The setbacks to this cafe are: 1. The kiosk checkout system; no customer service or support readily available. Introverts don’t like flagging people down, especially in a bustling environment. 2. The entryway to the cafe is like a crowded intersection. Orders come out very close to the entrance of the cafe. There’s not really any proper standing room to wait for your order. There are people lined up, trying to get their straws in their drinks or stir in sugar, etc immediately to the left of the entrance. You also need to turn left to place an order. The atmosphere is very hectic and unpleasant.
The coffee is great here and the staff is so incredibly kind and helpful. It is always a pleasure to come here, never a bad experience. Could not say a bad thing!
Andrew helped me out with my order. He suggested the Breakfast Sandwich since the burrito was sold out. Like he said, I liked it better then a most break fast sandwiches I had.
This place is so unique! There are a latte of delicious lattes here! From a lavender honey to a blueberry matcha latte they will have something here for you to enjoy and experience! (They also have simple coffee and teas if you are on the simpler side of drinks). The atmosphere is earthy, modern, and tranquil.
Ordered the 32oz "Cacoa Bliss" acai bowl for $12.50. That breaks down to 39 cents per oz. Only a couple cents more than Jamba Juice that serves 20oz for $7. The other surrounding acai bowl competitors fall at around 45cents+ per oz for theirs. Price is very fair. The loading of toppings and the unique flavors to choose from is a real advantage for when I come back and I can try a different blend. So delicious and healthy. Will return soon.
Great coffee with a wide variety of options to choose from. The pastries and croissants are always fresh, and I love the ambiance. There’s always a bit of a wait but never too long.
Very well made matcha. Their Signature with ceremonial grade matcha is the best one IMO, but the blueberry and strawberry options are also great if you want something sweeter.
Buenísima la matcha!!!
Buen café
1. ¡El latte definitivamente tenía sabor a plátano! ¡La bebida tenía una mezcla deliciosa! 2.
I cannot remember what the drink I got was called; it’s not on the menu online. But it was under the non-coffee section. It was good. Tasted like a version of matcha. (I ran across hojicha online after the fact and I think it was probably that.) This is a very busy shop in a busy parking lot
I got the Nutella latte and it was good. If you don’t like floral tastes do not try honey lavender latte or pistachio rose latte. The pistachio latte was terrible. It tasted more like rose water and doesn’t taste like coffee at all. I would try other coffees next times rather than the speciality ones. The place was cool but smells weird. Nice goodies and accessory stuff.
Staff were friendly and hardworking. Only 2 baristas on duty, and there is no cashier. The customer takes their own order via a touchpad. Management should consider having 3 baristas on duty during the morning rush.
It's always refreshing to find an independent coffee shop with unique feel and menu items. WiFi here (ask for password) and plenty of seating inside and outdoors to read or work. Smoothies, coffee items, and breakfast items including many nice vegan treats. Personally I didn't care for the 'bread box' sandwich but it's unusual and you might enjoy trying it.
Came here with family everyone got a drink except me, due to the fact that I had ask if they could make a peppermint hot chocolate and they said they did not have the recipe. Now on the menu there is a peppermint mocha and also a hot chocolate, so it puzzled me when the barista stated that fact. Most of my family enjoyed their drinks.
Good service - passing through the neighborhood and despartely need some coffee to stay awake for the next hour drive, I walked in 8mins prior to closing. The server didn’t try to rush me at all! She also informed me aheaad of my ordering that they don’t have anymore dripped coffee. Understand. Good coffee - smooth, full body, and bitter!
It's been on my list and visited today for the first time. Ordered the the 32oz Cacoa Bliss. Very good and I'll come back. Couple of critiques: Not a big fan of the self-order computer screen. Can I just order the item that's on the menu to a person? Would be great if there was a size between 16oz. and 32oz. Also, and it seems to be a wider trend, but the 'bowl' is not actually a 'bowl'. It's a large cup, hard to eat out of, mix the ingredients into. Would love if they served the Acai in lower, wider bowls. Also, would love to have recycled that 32oz cup into a proper bin, maybe I missed it. Be careful of the prices too, seem to be pushing the high end. Price is what you pay, value is what you get. Overall though, good concept, quality and experience today and I'll return and would recommend to others.
I love Krisp. They have the most delicious Matcha. You can taste the difference from other shops because Krisp uses high grade matcha they use. I definitely recommend anything off their Matcha Series. Their drinks do not taste artificial or sugary, they taste is very good and pure. My review is more of a 4.5 solely because the parking at this plaza is literally the worst, not their fault but it definitely adds to the experience. They also take a while, again good things take time so that is understandable. I recommend ordering ahead if you are running late or coming in during a lunch break. They have a sign above the register that will give you an estimated time of how long your order will take so that is helpful. The staff used to be kind of rude, I think they were stressed but the last couple visits I've had have been very pleasant!
Trendy establishment with out-of-the-ordinary drinks and treats. Came in for a regular latte but ended up ordering a pistachio rose iced latte and was quite pleased with it. Ordering at their kiosk was quick and easy. The only thing that would’ve made this visit better was if the employees actually acknowledged customers when they came in the door. They weren’t negative or unpleasant in any way but they didn’t do anything to help make me feel welcome.
Black sesame latte- amazing. Would come back for the drinks. However would not get the breakfast burrito. 1. Based on the description- should have cilantro crema and cojita cheese. Both were missing so it was mainly tater tots, cheese and egg. Not much bacon either unfortunately. 2. The salsa was watery. Not robust in flavor at all and messy as a result of how thin it was. 3. A small note- a significant portion of the tortilla was stuck to the wrapper- I don’t know if that can be helped though. Came at opening and was looking forward to this breakfast but was disappointed- definitely not worth the calories :( At least I can say their black sesame and pistachio rose drinks are yummy. :)
After eating in the plaza wanted to grab a refreshing drink and conveniently saw this place in the plaza. I tried the blueberry matcha latte, iced, and it was super delicious! My friend got the pistachio rose latte with almond milk, that felt it had a stronger coffee taste which was not what I expected. Maybe it would taste better as a hot drink, something to try next time.
Krisp Fresh Living is such a cozy and relaxing spot with amazing drinks like their matcha and pistachio rose latte. The place feels fresh, clean, and perfect for chilling or catching up with friends!
krisp is literally walking distance between my house and office, and I would come here 3–4x a week and grab drinks for the office until my last visit. I mistakenly ordered one drink to the wrong location, and instead of them offering a regular like me to just make me a new one, they told me to go to the other location, which was 21 minutes away due to peak hour traffic. Sure, they didn’t have an obligation to make me a drink, but they also lost my business. I switched my orders over to Stereoscope, and they literally appreciate their regulars so much that they left me a handwritten note. Sometimes you have to ask yourself if not remaking one drink is worth losing a regular customer. (pic below is from stereoscope) edit after your response: do better Krisp. regular or not you guys failed at the customer experience and the girl who told me to go to the other store was not a new employee.
Food is delicious, the smoothie awesome! I can't get enough of their smoothies. Staff is super friendly and nice. Some things that lead to just three stars instead of five: - it takes forever to prepare your beverage and food. Sometimes the same person who takes your order also prepares your order, which if course delays things. - also it is very pricey for what you get. Expensive coffee drinks and food
This shop has a cool minimalist vibe but the matcha is only alright. We have tried the blueberry, melon and strawberry matcha. The blueberry tasted more clear blueberry flavor. The strawberry was just strawberry jam at the bottom and the melon tasted like soy milk with matcha. Overall would not go out of our way to buy it again.
Cute little spot, but I have had a mixed set of experiences with their coffee. Sometimes their latte's taste great and other times its overly heavy on milk. Parking in the plaza can sometimes get a little tight.
Good food. Nice people. Would not recommend coming on a weekend. Service is incredibly slow. Like 50+ minutes for a smoothie and a couple matchas slow. Might be understaffed or just too popular of a place now. I like this place and don't want to post a negative review, but unlikely I'll come back very much after multiple extremely long waits for small orders.
We had ordered nitro cold brew and got ice in our drinks. I had never seen a place serve ice in the nitro. The place has a great vibe but not the employees. The place was crowded! We didn't try any of the food! So can't rate it if it was good.
Ordered via app in the morning, got there 20 min after the expected time. They didn’t have it ready, and had to scrounge to find the order. Said they would make it for free. But then they didn’t. My drink was made well, however it made me late.
Coffee is GREAT!! Service is just painfully slow! Ordered coffee at 11:35am, got a text that it was ready at 12:03pm. It was warm so I asked them to make it hot. Great coffee, but don’t go if you are in a hurry.
Very cute atmosphere! Nice place to grab coffee and breakfast. If you are in a rush, then I do not recommend grabbing a superfood bowl. Coffee came out fast, but bowl took over 40 minutes. Unfortunately, based on the estimated wait time sign, I was expecting it to only take 5-10 minutes. I’m sure it depends on the day of the week.
Cooffee is good, but extra slow service, despite not being busy. Coffees came out 7 mins apart. It's not hard to put two cups from the same order side by side, so the barista makes them together.
Probably the worst coffee place I've been to. It's not very good coffee and uses tons of syrup. Also you have to order yourself. I get it because it can be helpful if there's more people working on getting food and drinks out, but if you aren't used to it, you have multiple people in front of you confused and taking forever to order
Coffee and food tastes really good here, probably one of my favorite places but the time of service is always very very very (!) slow. Waiting for a cup of coffee usually 10-15 min minimum… and I’ve been coming here for a couple of years. Would be great if the service could be speeded up.
Good food (acai bowls) but very okay coffee Also don't seem to employ enough people to work the register, seating is not the most comfortable. Outside seating is nice but not a lot of seating options for studying/charging your laptop.
Idk if my drink got mixed w something else but the flavor is overpowering taste of unexplained fragrance and soapy need to be careful w rinsing all the stuff bec if another customer is allergic to lavender then it’s not a good thing I could not drink the drink I am feeling sick even after now staff are nice to do remake another one diff flavor this time. For a first time customer not so happy w the strong taste
Amazing spot but all gets ruined by the system they have. You order a coffee online but they don’t start it until you come in and sign your name?! It then takes 10mins minimum from there - making the ordering online a waste of time. Great coffee but sadly not practical
Coffee is great! Staff is understaff, the owner needs more than 2 people in the morning, I am told to order online & I was told I have to wait 20 minutes! Ridiculous, they have a cashier and touch screen option, their touch screen should not be presentable due to the fact of viruses and I don’t need to be a cashier, either the owner gets it running on more staff or I am going back to jamboree Starbucks. Oh and another thing Andrew did a great job with my fast pick up one time, coffee mornings needs more staff.
Incompetence abounds. Just shut down already. Every single time I come here it's a circus and it doesn't seem like anyone here understands how to run a business. I used to work down the street and eat the same thing 2-3 times a week and they could barely get it together. In the years since then they've only gotten worse. The last time I visited I was annoyed to find that they put screens at the registers instead of having a cashier take the order. To the brilliant mind who implemented this change: if you don't set up your menu or options to the degree that they can actually take the place of a cashier, then all you're doing is confusing people (including yourselves) and turning customers off by making things difficult. Today I went back again in an attempt to get my same order as usual, and was instead lectured about how the kitchen had implemented strict rules to avoid food that was messy. Right. In addition to your failure to understand the point of FOOD SERVICE, I guess you've also never heard of a knife and fork, or a napkin. Take care! I'll literally never be back.
I previously gave this place 5 stars but after today's experience they get two stars. I placed my order through door dash for pick up at 10:35am my pick up time was set for 11:15am pick up I arrived around 11:05 my notification kept getting pushed back as I was waiting after standing in the lobby for almost 30min I finally said something especially seeing other customers ordering after me getting their food and drinks. Turns out my order had been sitting in the refrigerator the whole time. No one was even concern that I was just standing there even after the rush, mind you my app is still pushing back the pick up more and more. Oh yea I was told that I wasn't seen standing there. Hmmm honestly this is unelectable and they still haven't closed/completed my order during this review.
Drinks are good but not worth the 20 minute rate. Even on weekdays. The people are so slow. I have seen multiple people complain to the barista about not getting their drink and they work even slower. Honestly its a pretty bad place based on the wait times.
Don’t come here for matcha, the matcha powder has the sugar already mixed in so it’s too sweet on default and you can’t change it. Paid 8 dollars on a matcha I can barely drink coffee was okay though
I understand they may have been having a tough morning getting it together but not putting my pastry in the toaster until I ask about it 10 minutes later is a bit lacking
My co worker and i both ordered as mobile order and selected a pick up window because we went on our lunch break. We got there i went in to pick up the orders because the parking being very congested and having a hard time finding a parking. It was hard to get someones attention, as there is no cash register and no one has communication with custumers. After a few once a worker was finally close enough to me i asked her about our mobile orders and she asked if i signed in i told her no and she said that have to sign in order for them to know you are there to make the drinks.. if that’s the case why have the option for mobile order. This definitely is not a place to pick up as you will be there for awhile waiting for get your order. My friend ordered a regular 20oz matcha with cold foam, got a 16oz.. hers was good I got a 20 os blue berry matcha with Cold foam , it was okay made with lots of artificial sweetner tasted like a muffin of some sort. Was not my favorite i also only got a 16 oz . We did not complain about the size as we had already spent so much time waiting that we had 15 mins to drive back to work and clock in. Over all was a bust. If you have all day whrre you can make sure you get what you pay for and wait 15+ mins for your drink then id say go for it and dont order online it’s a waste.
Horrible service; wait time is very very very long and it is not organized at all. I usually order their coffee and an acai bowl since they are close to my office, average food and coffee
Walked in, no acknowledgment. Two people working behind the counter, two people in front of me ordering. You have to order yourself using their touchscreen. They still ask for a tip, even though they are paid to make the coffee and until I asked about my order, not one person that worked there spoke to any customers at all. When the employee spoke to me, all he said was “it’s only been seven minutes”. No smile, no good morning, no anything. Coffee took almost 10 minutes to make, even though, like I said, only two orders in front of me and two people working behind the counter. Just a cold cold atmosphere and the $9 coffee is just so so. Won’t give my money to this place again.
I use to stop here here from time to time and I was always kind of disappointed from their staff! But today I was convinced to never stop by again! I ordered from their tablet some bakery , after waiting for around 7min they told me it's out of stock. (Till now it's fine) My order was gluten free bakery she offered butter croissant as alternative when I asked for refund she disappeared! I had to wait for another 10 minute till I stopped her again and asked for my refund again, she said "only one guy can do this, wait for him" this is when I lost my temper, so he showed up to do the refund! No smile no apology or anything! He looked upset for being disturbed Congrats for WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE in OC! I don't recommend this place
I came here couple of times and they were initially very good from a customer service perspective. I usually get their coffee and acai bowl. A month back I order acai online to pick up and I saw my order ready behind the counter. Went up to the workers to present my number and before I said anything this lady (I think she was the manager) just told me to wait because they were working through with another order in a very rude/aggressive manner. I ended up waiting for 10 min for her to finish her order. she then moved on to another one instead of helping me. I got fed up and asked the other person who helped me immediately. Then this morning we tried to give them another chance. Ordered two coffees, acai, and a sandwich. There were two strands of hair in the sandwich and one strand stuck to the coffee cup. Nope. Never again. Disgusting attitude, disgusting food.
The 1 star was solely based on my first (and last) experience. Arrived at the store craving for a latte. - No cashier bc they use ipads for orders. - i could not find what I wanted (a simple basic white girl latte lol “coconut milk please no sugar”) - stood there for 2 min trying to make eye contact w 3 baristas in house bc I wanted a latte that was not listed on their menu. Ignored lol. - left. . Hey, it may be a great cafè but you gotta do your best to retain your customer! . And no, the cafè was not busy at all. Maybe 2 other customers inside. . Left w a bitter taste… and not coffee. .
Most staff are quite nice, but one of the guys here was quite rude to me and my friend as we came in towards the end of the open hours.
It should not take 20+ minutes for an açaí bowl, especially when the store is empty. I watched as more than five or six people came in got their orders and left. Meanwhile my order sat on the bar, melted, and was ignored. I won't be back. If you're on the fence, go somewhere else.
The customer service here is extremely terrible most of the workers have attitude towards the customers. I never knew asking for a cup of water would get me an attitude and a reaction. All I did was asking for a larger cup of water. Needs huge improvements with employees attitudes and behaviors towards customers.
Slowest service ever. I’ve been there and worked as a barista in a semi high volume store for 3 years with a recommendation from a manager and a district manager. I ran 2 blenders and 2 espresso machines by myself with 1 on register food. I know how what deployment should be and prioritizing customer service. The one guy literally walked out with a crawl to the blender as he checked his phone and finished the drink. Hot food situation was a mess. We ordered, the food never made it onto the order for some reason (weren’t charged for it). Guy in charge went to go “check on it” and said it was being made. But that means he never checked it because it actually never made it onto the order because we found out later it wasn’t on there. Not sure wth happened with that on the point of sale. Everyone working there had a resting face except for the young lady in the back doing food and eventually came out to do floors in front behind the bar. This was August 3 at 1:45pm ish. Nitro cold brew was good. Not good or bad. But the service was atrocious. I’ve seen a lot in the coffee industry on a major franchised scale and small independent through a business owner that has won international and national awards for Golden Bean with multiple roasts and was also a judge. If the coffee is acceptable that’s okay by me it doesn’t need to be mind blowing it just needs to be better than Sbux. But if the customer service is trash I don’t care how good the coffee is. Will not return again and so far I prefer BlkDot at Spectrum.
I got yelled at by an employee for walking into their open cafe — for being five minutes early
Every time I come lately it’s always something. I used to love getting my coffee here because it was good but now the business just sucks. I travel 4-5 hrs here for school and I would look forward to this coffee. Last time I came they closed the kitchen 1 hour before closing plus they didn’t tell me till after I paid. Now I come and they aren’t taking any orders 30 minutes before closing since their system was apparently down. Which they could’ve taken cash if that was the case. The lady was rude when she said so as well. I worked customer service before and we would take orders till the last minute of closing. If the system was down we would take cash. So I understand if things are out of their control, but when I worked customer service this wouldn’t slide.
I rarely leave bad reviews, but Krisp Fresh Living truly earned this one. The customer service was unbelievably bad. The barista was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was an inconvenience for simply placing an order. They messed up my drink — and when I politely pointed it out, they said “we can’t do anything about it.” Excuse me? No apology, no remake, nothing. It’s honestly shocking how disrespectful and unprofessional they were. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a coffee shop before. The place might look nice on the outside, but the way they treat paying customers is disgusting. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being ignored and disrespected. There are way better coffee spots nearby that actually care about customers.
Entré y nadie me respondió.
