Every time I come here not only is everyone super nice but the smoothies are top notch. Not every location is the same and this one is by far the most consistent and best!
I love this Smoothie King! There is this young girl with braids there and she always makes my smoothies the way I like it. I get the almond mocha cold brew and I have gone to other smoothie kings and they mess it up. Not here! When the young lady makes it, it’s smooth and tastes just right. It’a the little things for me.
Priscilla was incredible, greeting me when I walked in, helping me find my prepared order, and wishing me a great week! Fast, efficient, and kind, what a great experience!
They were super generous and remade my order because I took too long to get there and my smoothies had melted.

I stopped by Smoothie King at the very last minute, and Monica was absolutely amazing! She was so patient and kind while helping me pull up my rewards, and she made the whole experience super easy. This location has such friendly & fast service. Whether I’m ordering through the app or in person, my orders are always right. The location is also convenient, as I am trying to train myself at the gym, at a nearby park, or at my pilates class. The only thing that was confusing is that the app offers curbside delivery for this location, but the staff confirmed they do not (at least at this time). So, if you order online, make sure to pick up for order in the store.
This place is normally pretty good. I gave it 4 stars because their customer service could be way better. It's not just about making good smoothies, to me it's also about being greeted genuinely.
Smoothie is good as always. But I was pregnant at the time and I did not know that they had a prenatal smoothie. I wish she would have told me that! I was standing there for awhile because I forgot the name of the smoothie I always get whenever I drop in once in a blue moon. Either way momma loved her smoothies!!!

Update: 3/15/2019 Today. I ran into smoothie king about 7:35 P.M. I purchased three smoothies the service was okay. I got the Lemon-ginger-spinach. I took to sips and it tasted a bit strange. I hoping it was the stevia or the ginger but it taste a little like soapy dish water. I HOPE I DON'T GET SICK FROM THE SMOOTHIE!! This from a month ago: I went to this location resently. I would have given another star but they need a least two or three employee always on staff. I want to give this location another try, third times a charm as they say. A large smoothie is going to cost you almost $10.00 take a little in the cost. I think that's fare. If the owner doesn't retrain his full staff, people are going to take there money else where. To simply put it, they just need better customer service a big smile and a nice big thank you for your business goess a long way. Oh and by the way I was over charged for a smoothie sleeve.
When I came in there were already 7 people in the store and ONE employee. By the time I reached the register there was 9 people waiting to order/waiting for their order. Another employee came out but they are both slow and don't appear to be properly trained. People were lined up sitting on the windowsill for lack of proper seating. The ONLY positive here today is that the employees are VERY positive, friendly, and kind and clearly rushing as fast as they can. I waited over 20 minutes for a small drink. This is a great example of a company failing their employees by not providing the tools for success. I will NOT be returning to this location.
Highly disappointed today! 8 customers in here on a Friday. Only two employees and one is in training! Wow this Smoothie King has gone down hill baaaadddd. 4/5 months ago there would be at least four people in here and they’d have you in and out. As I’m typing this there are no smoothies being blended At All.
I want to give them 5 stars because I love this location and the smoothies are wonderful. However do not go in the morning before work. The wait is always 15 minutes at least because they only staff 1 person before 9am which is ridiculous. We live in an increasingly health conscious era so the management ought to know better. The former manager did and kept 2-3 employees Tuesday thru Thursday and Monday/Friday there were at least 4 in the mornings.
My sister and I came to get our smoothie after our workout and we're completely disgusted by the way we were treated. When taking our order the guy kept going "ugh ugh" and rolling his eyes at us then when we were paying he didn't allow our coupon that we had on the app and made us feel stupid about it. Don't recommend this location at all
Terrible 45 minute wait for 2 20oz smoothies attempting curbside. Was my first time at this location, so I didn't know there wouldn't be a drive thru. I saw they offered curbside so I attempted to use the option since I have covid with a terrible cough. I didn't want to enter the premises because my mask tore. I tried to call and speak to someone, ended up on an 18 minute hold before finally hanging up. Since no one bothered to check the phone, it just rang busy when I tried again 5 minutes later. Finally, I decided to flag down a customer who just exited. I explained my situation, and asked if she would inform the staff. Despite it already being passed my promised time, the kind woman informed me they just got started on my order. Said, someone with pink hair would bring it right out. After an additional 20 minute wait, all customers had left and they were just standing there talking. Still unable to reach the staff by phone, I asked another kind stranger for assistance. He actually was nice enough to bring me my order. Solid food is hard for me to eat, so I thought a smoothie would be great to get something down as well as sooth my very sore throat. Was not worth the wait, or having to trouble strangers. It would of taken 15 seconds on the phone for me to inform them I was attempting curbside because I have covid. Another minute to bring it out since I was literally parked in front of the door. Was parked there for nearly 50 minutes.
Only Smoothie King I’ve ever been to that wasn’t able to scan the QR in my app for points. Girl at the counter earlier this afternoon doesn’t seem to have been taught basic customer service…I approached the counter to order as she stared out the window of the store for several seconds without acknowledging I was there. Then when she wasn’t able to scan the my QR properly she simply offered an “it’s not working” without an apology or any sort of explanation for why it might not be working.
The slowest operation I have ever experienced. Lady would take one single Smoothie order make that one smoothie then wash that one blender before moving to the next. Could not even make one full order with multiple smoothies at the same time. There are multiple blenders and machines for a reason. Also had to repeat my order several times and she was slow to input on machine. Saturday at noon have been here for 40mins still no smoothie with only one person in line ahead of me
December 12th I stopped in before work, had plenty of time and there was only one person ahead of me (so I thought great plenty of time get my smoothie than out the door) who happen to work next door at Pizza Hut. My order was taken and then thats when this became a frustrating experience. Took 10 mins to get one little smoothie and me being late to work. The guy was slow, made 3 other smoothies before he made my one little smoothie. Thanks for the unpleasant experience. I will definitely will not be visiting this location again.
That old Hispanic lady with the tattoos need to read her policies before enforcing them on people. Please send this lady to learn how to read policies before implementing them
I went to this smoothie King I ordered two medium strawberry banana smoothie. It was gross one was watered down and the other did not taste by like strawberry banana at all. I went back and told them I wanted my money back but he tried to make me another one . I said no he took my name and number and kept my receipt and it will take 24 to 48 hours to get a refund online. I don’t want a refund online I want my money back. I will never go back there
Ordered via the app, for pick up at 12:41. Arrived at 12:42, but there were no online orders set out for pickup. Not a big deal. Waited in line while the lone employee took down each order, then went and made it herself before washing the blender and taking the next order. By 12:52, I made it to the front of the line (of three people). The employee found and made my order, but left out enough ingredients that what would normally be a deep purple colored smoothie was instead a pale tan color barely darker than the styrofoam cup. And because it didn't have all the ingredients, she blended it the first time, started to pour it into the cup, realized it wasn't going to fill it, diluted it by adding two more scoops of ice, and blended it again. So the smoothie I got was very watered down, missing key ingredients, flavorless, and twenty minutes after the scheduled pick-up time. Because I was already running late by that point and honestly don't think I had a way to cancel the online order at that point, I just took it and left.
I went to the store 5485 N. MacArthur around 8:07 on October 16th and the store was still closed!! I had seen and employee in the front and as soon as she saw me she hid and didn’t even try to come out at all. I waited another 15 minutes because I thought she was probably busy but she STILL did not even to try and open the door. FYI three other customers went and left. Store should of been open by 8am and it was around 8:25am after I left. I drove 40 minutes for nothing! Someone should really check on their LAZY employees!
Don’t ever expect them to open on time. I’ve come here two days in a row at 7:20 when they’re set to open at 7:00. The door was open so I walked in and was greeted by an extremely rude and completely unprofessional black girl that said “we’re not open yet the lights aren’t on.” So I said “ok then why’s your door open?” Couldn’t answer that question and went on a sob spiel about how the manager had to be there before they could open. Then proceeded to tell me to file a complaint online if I had a problem and that it wasn’t her fault. Don’t waste your time they’re a joke. Super unprofessional.
They had one person working so I waited for 25 minutes for service. Then the cashier wears the same gloves that he he takes the money with and touches the buttons on the register and then makes your smoothie. He checked out 4 people no change of clothes took money and then made smoothies. Nasty and unsanitary.
The issue that I encountered was an awful smell of rotten mop water. It was so overwhelming that it made me sick to my stomach and I didn’t trust the smoothie that was made and trashed it. $21 wasted not happy about that and will never ever come back to that location again.😠
These two young ladies did not make my complete my order prior to doing everyone else’s order
The staff laughed at my husband who is struggling with a back injury. Absolutely disgusting and one of the most humiliating experiences. We won’t be going back again. Edit to reply to the comment from the business: I already have reached out to your customer service about this. In fact it was the second thing I did. The first thing I did was call the location to speak to a manager to find out there wasn’t one there. I still have not heard back from anyone from customer service about this issue. A little disappointing that I’d get a reply here first.

I order online because I’m usually on a tight schedule for work, and now, thanks to this delay, I’ll be getting to work late. This is exactly why I try to plan ahead, but it clearly didn’t help in this case. Very frustrating!
