Two Mules Cantina is praised for its atmosphere, friendly service (Gerardo, Lettie, Mario, Yeseni, Edgar), and tasty Tex-Mex food. The brisket tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas are popular. Some find parking confusing or the atmosphere dead at certain times.

The best place I have been. Everyone has been super nice and super attentive. Yeseni, Edgar, Gerardo and Mario are super friendly and all work together for a great atmosphere. The food was super good and everything is served hot and right out the kitchen. Stayed a snowy weekend so have tried a lot of the menu and great taste. The drinks are amazing and they are very accommodating to whatever you want. I absolutely recommend if you’re in the area. The staff here makes me want to come back here and to the hotel
This place is truly a hidden gem! The food was amazing great price and great quality! Their drinks were phenomenal as well as their music. Lettie was our server and was amazing so welcoming and kind 10/10 recommend!
We ordered from Two Mules Cantina while staying at the Texican Court, and it was phenomenal — some of the freshest, most flavorful Tex-Mex we’ve had. We tried the dip trio (queso, guac, and salsa) and every one was a hit. The queso was creamy with just the right amount of heat, the guacamole was chunky with a pleasant little kick (rare and delicious!), and the salsa was smooth, smoky, and spicier than your average restaurant version — in the best way. The chicken enchiladas verdes were the standout — generously stuffed with tender roasted chicken, topped with fresh cojita, and served with fragrant cilantro rice and flavorful charro-style beans loaded with tomatoes and peppers. We also ordered the loaded nachos, which were hearty, well-layered, and perfect for sharing, plus a side of off-the-cob elote-style corn sprinkled with more cojita. It was my first time trying that style of corn, and I’m officially hooked. Everything arrived hot, correct, and beautifully prepared. One tip for anyone ordering through the hotel: ask for plates — the food comes packaged more like DoorDash than traditional room service, but it’s absolutely worth it. Based on how fantastic everything was, I can’t wait to go back and try the fajitas and street tacos next time. Between the generous portions, reasonable prices, and top-notch flavors, Two Mules Cantina is a total win. We’ll definitely eat here again next time we stay at the Texican Court!
We were thoroughly impressed with both the breakfast and dinner at this restaurant—the food was outstanding. Our waiter, Mario, was incredibly attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable. Everyone we encountered, both in the restaurant and throughout the hotel, was kind, gracious, and welcoming. It’s clear that this wonderful atmosphere is a reflection of the dedication and leadership of Nico, the manager. Highly recommended!
Great food and service in a vintage west atmosphere. I wasn’t happy about the parking situation (mandatory valet) but I enjoyed my enchiladas and the happy hour margaritas. Chips and dips were great as well. Service was fast and friendly and the place wasn’t too busy at all. I truly expected it to be busier.
OMG! Where do I even start???!!! Had the breakfast burrito work chorizo and hash browns. It's perfectly seasoned and spicy... but not too spicy. The coffee sent me into orbit it was so good. Cute little self-service coffee bar with flavored syrups and creamers. I enjoyed three cups! For happy hour, the desert pear margaritas were sooooo amazing and not watered down. The chip and dip trio with queso, guacamole, and salsa was spicy and so delicious. For dinner, the poblano chicken enchiladas with cilantro rice and burracha beans were simply a culinary delight! Spicy and bursting with so much flavor! Highly recommend!!!!
Cornhole on the back patio with fires and nice ambiance. Plenty of seating inside. If you're just going for dinner at the restaurant, double check with the staff, they told us not to pay for the parking even though it does have signs that you're supposed to pay. Good drinks, nice happy hour. Our group didn't classify this as Tex-Mex, it had chicken fried steak and burgers on the menu. Overall good place though
I wish I were a local to this area because I would love to be able to eat at this restaurant regularly! I got the prickly pear margerita, which was so yummy!! My family member got a spicy margarita, which was also very very good. I had the ceviche for an appetizer and the pork belly tacos for my entree. I am so glad I chose both of those dishes! Absolutely delicious! The service was lovely, and everyone was very kind and pleasant to interact with. I can't recommend this place enough!
We visited for lunch and they had a $25 buffet. These were my selections and the food was great. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant also. We were late for dinner though, which ended at 10 minutes to 10pm. But we were given some Sopapillas that tasted like native frybread with honey and powdered sugar, cut in triangles. They were very filling.
Cute restaurant located alongside of the Texican Court Hotel. Limited items to select from but tasty food. Fajitas were tender and were accompanied by grilled onions and bell peppers. Corn or flower tortillas were served with guacamole and sour cream. Also ordered the Chicken Poblano Enchiladas and the Trio for an appetizer. Loved the chips as they were seasoned with something other than just salt.
I've been here twice now with larger groups and the setting is very accommodating!! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Many dietary restriction options available. The drinks are very good, the food in general is good but nothing I would call exceptional. If you're looking for a spot to host an office lunch or happy hour, this is a great spot!
Love this place! Super cute, quaint, and has such a unique and authentic aesthetic. Even better, it’s located across from the Toyota Music Factory. The cool part about this spot is that it’s located with Texican Court that’s serves doubly has a hotel and a restaurant. They also have a pool and chapel. It’s the perfect place for a staycation if you’re in the Dallas/Las Colinas area. Also, the food and drinks are good. The prices area reasonable and the service is good. I’ve gone for lunch and a late night drink. For lunch I got the grilled chicken sandwich and prices (generous portions &!good flavor - the fries were delicious). Tonight I had the Prickly Pear margarita. It was delicious and strong. I can’t wait to go back!
This place is very cool! I don’t have the full details but the restaurant seems to be connected to a hotel. There’s even a chapel connected. It resembles a small 1968 country side town. The food is very fair in price and you must go for happy hour. 🍻 I recommend sitting outside when there is nice weather. Pictured is the loaded fries which are stuffed gator tots sprinkled with ground beef on top. I can say that there should be extra beef on top. But still not bad and very filling. I also got the starter chip trio which comes with salsa, guac and queso. I recommend coming to this place and I will be back for more visits! Instagram: im_alwayshungryy
We went on a Friday night at 7 pm and there was a live band that was ok, but not great. The place wasn’t very full but we were told we would have a 30 minute wait for a table. It was right at 30 minutes but then we didn’t get waited on for another 20 minutes once we were sat. The place was very cute on the outside and inside, but the menu was pretty limited. Chips and salsa were not complimentary. We had the trio dip which was chips, salsa, guacamole, and queso. It was good, but it cost $13. We shared the fajitas which were $26 dollars and we had half beef and half chicken. The meat was really tender. It didn’t have sides (like no beans or rice), but it came with tortillas and small containers of salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. I loved the salsa. It had a little bit of heat. The guacamole was chunky but no spice. Someone else at our table had the loaded tater tots, which looked good. I had a Diablo margarita that was very tasty but it didn’t have much heat. I have certainly had better Mexican food, but I have also had worse.
Everything left something to be desired. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch, it was confusing on where to park, and from the parking lot, how to get into the restaurant. Once we made our way thru the hotel gardens into the restaurant, we were impressed by how cute the decor was and how well it fit their theme. And that, unfortunately, is where the positive ended. There was not a clear host stand so we approached a server who was standing by some menus. As we did so, he turned and looked towards the door & greeted two other guests who entered. They went to the bar, and then if I hadn't drawn his attention to us, he would've ignored us more. We chose a table from the open seating, and perused the menu. He provided us with water, but didn't inquire if we wanted anything else so we didn't get drinks like we planned. He came back & we ordered the Texas Trio to start. The queso was okay (a step above Velveeta in a crock pot), the guacamole was not very good (needed salt, lime & tomatoes...just some body to make it more than mushed avocado), the salsa was good, and the chips were somewhat warmed & half crumbled. We ordered the elote, poblano chicken enchiladas & nachos to share between the 3 of us. And tho 2 of us had near empty water glasses, no refills. When the food arrived, it was...acceptable. The elote was missing spice/heat and wasn't very warm. There was no heat in the poblano chicken enchiladas, the rice was gummy & missing something to make it good, and the borracha beans weren't warmed thru. The nachos...well, they were served in a bowl. So the toppings only covered a third of the chips and was messy. The service...the server was working with at least 2 other staff members while there were 3 people at the bar, a table of 2 outside, and a table of 4 inside for the first 30-minutes of our meal. The waters were refilled once (had to ask twice) and never asked about, we had to ask. We went to the bar to ask for our ticket & a to-go box because our server had been MIA for 30+ minutes...to be fair we had seen him, but it was like he was deliberating NOT looking towards us. When he came over, he asked if we were ready for our ticket & if we needed any boxes... YES! Did the bartender who sent you over over not say? Overall, not only a lackluster experience with the food, but a terrible customer service experience. We only tipped because we've all waited tables before & cannot stomach not tipping.
Went for brunch with a friend on a Saturday early afternoon. There was one person at the bar and two tables getting ready to leave when we arrived. The staff were standing at the bar talking. We were greeted when we walked up. We opted for seats at the bar as they tried to seat us right in front of the door where people were entering 🤔. We asked for pineapple mimosas and were given regular mimosas with orange juice. My friend can’t drink orange juice. The bartender caught his own mistake after a few mins and corrected it. We ordered the chicken fried steak with jalapeño mashed potatoes and gravy. When the food came we had to grab condiments from another table because we weren’t asked or offered anything else. The food was hot when it came out. The jalapeño in the mashed potatoes could cover the need for a little salt but passable. The chicken fried steak was mid 🤷🏽♀️. It was tender and crunchy on the outside. Asparagus was the star on the plate. That was pretty much the end of our service. We had to keep asking for a drink or to go boxes (asked three times). There were other tables by this point so we tried to give a little grace. However, when we couldn’t get any service, we asked for the check again multiple times. The host got upset that we asked for the manager who never showed up of course. The bartender kept walking back and forth didn’t acknowledge us or the other folks who had been sitting at the bar since before the rush. Only us and another two ladies. We had our two drinks long ago at this point and half our meals (literally fanning 🪰 waiting on boxes). We finally got our boxes and checks then left. We valeted here so we walked down the street to Gloria’s and got way better service. We will not be back
