Rooftop dining area and bar with live music, great food, and wonderful service! We got the drunken shrimp, grilled octopus, and shrimp fettuccine. It was all very good.

We almost accidentally ran into this hidden gem after driving around the island and finding most restaurants closed. We saw the rooftop from the street and decided to try it out and we are so glad we did! From the great service that Tony behind the bar gave us, personal attention given to every guest by the owners, the delicious food (ceviche, tuna steak, catch of the day and a gigantic slice of lemon cake), the music by Jorge and ambiance it was a perfect night! We may even go back tonight for their Happy Hour. Best dinner we had on the island!

Exceptional roof top palapa restaurant. Our server Inri was fantastic. The food was some of the best we have ever had in Mexico, and without a bland resort atmosphere. This is a local gem in a local neighborhood with exceptional people. Great drinks. Great dessert. It was a highlight of our week on the island. Worth every bit of our stay.

The drunken shrimp is amazing but nothing on the island compares to their lemon cake. Their live music performances are fantastic.

Our group of 11 had a fantastic experience at Rosa Sirena’s! We were warmly greeted with a champagne toast from the owner, Debbie, who clearly pours her heart into the restaurant, her team, and the island. Her passion shines through in every detail. The food was delicious, but the drinks and homemade dessert (crafted by Debbie herself) were the true standouts. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. One thing to note: the restaurant is located upstairs and requires climbing a steep flight of stairs, so it may not be ideal for those with mobility issues. That aside, Rosa Sirena’s was a memorable highlight of our trip—highly recommend for a special and welcoming dining experience!

Live ambient music, amazing service and the food was outstanding!! Lobster bites were so good, very large portion (or maybe we accidentally ordered 2?) Fish of the day was grouper and did not disappoint. The seafood fettuccine was delicious! Service was fast and accurate. Met the owners which was a really cool touch to the whole experience. nous sommes venus dîner ici dimanche soir, il y avait une très belle ambiance avec live music, les serveurs étaient aux petits soins et nous ont expliqué les plats et leurs spécialités. Nous avons goûté les Drunk Schrimp en entrée et en plat nous avons pris le chicken breast et grilled arrachera, c’était tout simplement délicieux. Leur sangria et margarita sont également très bonnes. Si nous étions restés plus longtemps à Isla Mujeres; nous serions revenus :)

Excellent environment! beautiful views. Loved everything about this place! It was my birthday and I was a little home sick and they brought me this amazing cake they have and sung me a happy birthday song! The live music was amazing! The owners were very friendly and everyone that was there! They made me feel at home! The chicken plate I had was also very amazing and the octopus was very good everything about this place made me feel safe! Would recommend to anyone who ever goes to isla mujeres!

My wife and I spent our first night on the island here. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the owner and staff made ous feel so welcome and made the night incredibly romantic. Roberto was our server and he was so helpful in explaining what each of the dishes were and where in Mexico the dish was from. I had the catch of the day - absolutely phenomenal - but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Going upstairs for live music & chocolate cake for dessert was the cherry on top of an amazing night at one of the best restaurants on the island!

We had a great, intimate dinner, and 2 men were playing live music, which added to the great ambiance. The food was delicious and the staff really attentive. I recommend for a romantic night out.

Deb and Willy have a very special place on the island. The rooftop atmosphere is perfection. The food is on point. Roberto's service is first class. There is not one thing I would change. 100% in every way. I hope to be able to visit again. Thank you all for a lovely evening!!

Wonderful food. So fun and creative. Seared tuna, cactus paddle salad, fresh whole fish. The rooftop is amazing. We went last night and a storm rolled over but they pulled down weatherproofing and we could still enjoy the beautiful view and atmosphere. Live guitar music, great servers. We highly recommend it!

So if you like Pozole this place is an absolute must!! Pozole was a solid 9/10!! Great flavor and all the makings!! All the other food looked absolutely amazing as wel!!!! Atmosphere was amazing with live music on the rooftop!! We sat at the bar and had incredible drinks!! The owners are very nice and interactive!! I definitely recommend eating here

The best place in town. Food is amazing. Risotto is the best I tried so far. Pumpkin pie tastes nothing like pumpkin, but heaven! I'm coming back to the Island just to try risotto and the pie again.

The staff is super nice, and we got to meet the super friendly owners as well. If you're lucky the owner will play some songs during open mic. The food was delicious! Def. get away from Playa Norte and come in to town for this place!

I'm not sure I can add anything new to the already wonderful reviews...just confirm them. Eat here! The lentils with roasted vegetables and cactus (nopales) is a truly delicious vegan option (or vegetarian with the tiny bit of cheese.) The atmosphere is delightful (ocean breezy with live music.) The host/owner couple are welcoming and detail-oriented.

This was an incredible meal and incredible cuisine with incredible hosts. Live music was an added treat to this quaint and intimate dining experience. Do not leave the island without experiencing Rosa Sirenas! And especially don’t miss the outstanding desserts!

If you’re visiting Isla Mujeres, this restaurant is an absolute must. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was electric. Incredible music, warm lighting, a perfect mix of locals and visitors, and an energy that just makes you want to stay all night. The food was hands-down some of the best we’ve had — beautifully presented, fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Every course exceeded expectations, and the risotto? Unreal. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was our server, Ulises. Without question, the best on the island by far. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, genuinely warm, and effortlessly professional. He elevated the entire evening and made us feel like VIPs. Great food, amazing vibe, top-tier service, and memories made with great friends. We’ll be talking about this night for a long time. Highly recommend — and ask for Ulises!

Went here for my bday dinner. Very nice place. Had a reservation but they forgot about it sadly but I did get a bar seat. The did apologize and that was nice, usually restaurants don't do that so that was a welcome change. Bartender was great. Food and music was really good. I recommend.

This was our 1st time to Isla Mujeres and we made a reservation at Rosa Sirenas based on online reviews. Our experience did not disappoint one bit. The service was stellar and personal, the owner came around a few times, explained some of what we were eating and was personable, and….the food! The simple shaved salad was delicious with a grilled shrimp addition. The catch of the day, grouper, was served with a chile rub and was succulent, and the blackened tuna was sublime. My dinner mates went crazy for the Pina colada cake, with pineapple layers, moist cake and coconut cream cheese frosting. The music was so beautiful…a guitarist with a voice like an angel and a beautifully muted trumpet. We’re already talking about heading back there during our stay.

Really great food and excellent service. Live music that fit the atmosphere very well and was soft enough to still have conversations.

Went there last night for dinner. It was amazing as well as delicious. The triple chocolate cake was excellent. The rest of it was amazing as well. Will definitely be going back again next time I am on Isla Mujeres.

Our favorite place for dinner on Isla. Always make a reservation because chances are they are booked for dinner. We have been here 3 times and eaten something new with each meal. You can't go wrong with the pork chop but we have not had a meal here we would not order again. The service is wonderful and the ambiance caps off a memorable meal. The live music is dialed in perfectly to enhance your even and not too loud to inhibit conversation.

I am so happy we found this restaurant on isla!!!! The skirt steak was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had in my life. Better than any fancy us steakhouse cut. And they bring out a large selection of knives with the entrees and describe each knife in detail and let you select which knife you want with your entree. I’ve never seen anything like it-so fun and unique. Incredible service and friendly employees who take the time to explain every menu item. They had live music which made the ambience perfect. The restaurant is beautiful. Every entree was amazing but my favorite was the drunken shrimp. It was almost like a shrimp pot pie with the most delicious white sauce. And the desserts!!! Leave room for dessert. They make them all in house and have a huge selection. Make sure to get some cookies in a bag to take home as well!

My best friend was visiting from Ireland for my birthday and she’s quite the foodie. This was my second visit to Rosa Sirena and both of my experiences were excellent. Ulysses is by far the best waiter I’ve had on the island and even beyond. His attention to detail and breadth of knowledge was impressive. He shared suggestions without being pushy or trying to sell and he’s just a nice person who gave us his time when possible to chat. All of the staff were great, I didn’t catch their names though. The atmosphere was wonderful and the musicians were excellent. As for the food everything was excellent and the carrot cake was also one of the best I’ve ever had. Liz commented at the end of the night “this might be my new favorite restaurant on the island”. Looking forward to coming back- thank you to Deborah and her husband for their wonderful hospitality.

We had an early family dinner on Christmas Day on the patio/bar - 5 of us. Willy, co-owner and chef, was our entertainment. He's also a skilled guitar player and singer. We loved it so much we were there three times during our three week stay on Isla! I was so impressed when Willy, the co-owner with his wife, made sure to stop by our table each time. The mixed seafood plate was amazing! The seared tuna, octopus, seafood Alfredo and fish of the day (grouper) were all excellent!

Debbie and Willie also introduced themselves and were incredibly friendly and welcoming. One would’ve never known they are the owners. Both very proud yet humble. We were also fortunate to enjoy live music which was at the perfect volume and production was great for such a small venue. Hands down recommend this place to anyone looking for an elevated yet authentic dining experience.

This restaurant was incredible. The entire staff was extremely sweet, caring, friendly, and the service was unmatched to anything I’ve ever experienced. We got the sangria and a spicy Cadillac margarita - both very satisfying. The food was delicious! We got the drunken shrimp, shrimp/fettuccine, 6 oz steak/potatoes/greens, and a slice of birthday cake. Everything was excellent. The music was very relaxing and set the tone just right. The whole staff was making sure everyone was very well taken care of. They even asked if I wanted to move seats because of the sun, as well as if I wanted more ice in my drink! Seriously, the hospitality is wonderful. Give this place and try and you will leave full and happy! Thanks for a great evening.

One of the top restaurants on the island for food , service and atmosphere. Spiral staircase to the three story top floor. Good drinks. Serrano wrapped salad, Pork chop, black grouper and serrano stuffed chicken breast. Dessert, layered cake and chocolate cheesecake. Good portions. Owner Willy, was on the floor constantly checking all tables.

Amazing food, great location and fantastic service. This place is great in any aspect. Starting with the entrance, it’s everything else apart from conspicuous while once you enter, you feel like you took a portal. The food is really amazing in its taste, quality and looks. It’s unique and freshly prepared. While you wait a bit for them, their choices of drinks is great too and in combination with the live music in the evening, it’s a treat! As for the pricing, it’s slightly expensive for Mexican standards, but worth the experience. The owners are also working as staff members, being super engaged and helpful.

Dinner was delicious! Try their Ancient Soup if you like a twist of Fruita del Mar.. No one makes better desserts than this restaurant. Their carrot cake rivals anyone’s in the world.

Another friend recommended place. My wife just wanted cheesecake. They only serve 3 kinds. Chocolate which i had, coconut which my wife had and i believe a key lime. I thought was cake was ok, a little dry but ok, but my wife loved hers. We didn't order anything else, just wanted cheesecake. The restaurant is on the top floor. You have to go up two flights of spiral stairs and its all open air seating. The view isn't the best as its nothing around to really see in that area. The restaurant was nice and clean with a friendly staff. Since we just had cake, the wait time was only a few minutes.

Incredible roof top location with live music. The service is incredible. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is my server highly recommended the pork chop over the blackened tuna. The pork chop was tough and overcooked. Everything else was absolutely incredible. Be sure to save room for dessert. I'll be back.

The service and atmosphere of Rosa Sirenas is great - we were sat at the bar as the restaurant was quite busy and the waiters were very attentive throughout. There was also live music which was enjoyable through the meal. Food was good but left a little to be desired. We ordered the blackened tuna steak and the catch of the day, then the lime cheesecake for dessert. The tuna steak was meant to be served rare but was actually more like tuna than tuna steak. The catch of the day was a little bit bland and relied on the side sauces to give it flavour. The lime cheesecake had the same texture throughout with an almost soggy biscuit base. I was also surprised that the dessert cost 230 pesos, over £10! I'd personally much rather lower prices and smaller portions, as it would also have allowed us to try two desserts rather than share one. Overall it was a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere, but it was expensive for food that wasn't exceptional.

Fantastic restaurant, atmosphere is top notch with live music and a very chill vibe. We has lobster bites (yum), drunken shrimp (u must try this!) and fresh catch of the day which was grouper, with lentils and rice. Incredible cook on the blackened grouper! We came here last night after a recommendation. We were the first in the restaurant, which shouldn’t matter as we were still paying customers.. it wasn’t until 1.5 hours later when other folk started to arrive did we feel like we were welcomed (and not ruining the staffs social time). We probably would’ve stayed longer if we had felt more comfortable. Regardless, the steak was good. I’d have liked a bit more garlic in the chimichurri though. We also felt the seafood Alfredo sauce was a bit too sweet for our liking. The owner was around, it would’ve been a nicer touch if he came over to ask us about our meal or how we came to find the place etc. I do feel if we had gone later in the evening and not 5.30pm we might have had better service but unfortunately it fell short this visit.

We were excited to visit this place after reading positive reviews. Food quality is below average, tried different soups, lobster & steak dishes. Not happy with the quality of all dishes we have tried, not really sure how this place got such a high rating. Will definitely not go back there, owners should step up on food quality they serve. Our daughter couldn't even eat basic fettuccine with chicken because it was tasteless.

Traveling to Isla Mujeres in early February 2026, we wanted to try Rosa Sirena’s for dinner based on the many good reviews we had read. A reservation was easy to obtain via email and we were all set for a sunset, evening meal. We were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere pleasant with an acoustic duo playing mellow tunes in the background. Honestly, we were a little disappointed with the view that most reviews rave about. Our sever was knowledgeable and made several suggestions. We selected the Pepita Crusted Tuna for a starter, my companion had the fresh catch which was grouper, blackened with a side of the peanut sauce. I chose the Surf and Turf. For dessert, we shared the Key Lime Pie. Everything was beautifully presented, and quite artistic. The tuna appetizer was very good, but the main courses were frankly a disappointment. The creativity of the plate did not make up for the lackluster food. The steak was tough and poorly seasoned, the lobster was just passable but also chewy and not tender. The fish was not as well cooked as other restaurants downtown and again the seasoning was lackluster. The sides, lentils and mashed potatoes were just ok. The homemade Key Lime Pie was enjoyable but again seemed to lack a depth of flavor. If the food could match the service, presentation, and atmosphere then perhaps this could be one of Isla’s better dining establishments, until then “the juice was not worth the squeeze.”

This is a cool little place. Parking was sketchy at night it was very dark had to park at a grocery store. Sat up on the balcony and had dinner which was a great experience. Food was overpriced for what you can get other places on the island and was good, nothing of a fine delicacy you want to crave again but it was good (special: pork). Good size portion and excellent presentation. You do have to go up stairs to get to restaurant.

No tenían menú en español se sintió el racismo con su propia gente (estamos en México). Pedí pasta Alfredo y puré de papa no tenían ningún sabor. Yo no tengo problema en pagar comida costosa cuando vale la pena. Aquí estaba caro y sin sabor. Que decepción!

De las peores experiencias que he tenido en isla mujeres, el menú solo estaba en inglés preguntamos por menú en español y no tienen y están en México! Le preguntamos al mesero acerca de qué tipo de leche tenía el café y no me dijo y me trajo la que él quiso,mi esposo quiso un café doble expreso y le trajeron un americano grande mas cargado por $160, la comida no fue muy buena solo un plato de vegetales y otro pequeño de mariscos y por esto mas dos pasteles fueron $1,520 más propina, además te sientes vigilado porque es un lugar pequeño y los meseros se paran en una esquina viéndote fijamente, es muy incómodo. Lo único bueno fue el señor que estaba tocando en vivo.

La peor experiencia en Isla Mujeres!!! Uno de los meseros fue muy grosero y no estaba abierto a las necesidades del cliente. Nosotros viajamos por trabajo y donde sea que vamos preguntamos por Wi-Fi y el mesero dijo que nosotros preferíamos la contraseña en vez de ordenar ¿¿¿???... O sea no es su problema!!! Luego dijo: la cocina se cierra a las 10 (de una manera muy irrespetuosa). Cuando pagamos la cuenta le dijimos al otro mesero de cargar el 10% de propina porque en México está bien del 10 al 15 porciento y el mesero grosero de tatuajes dijo desde donde estaba (10?) la verdad no quise ni mirarlo por lo asqueada que estaba de su comportamiento. Adicional a ésto cuando nos íbamos le dije de favor tratar mejor a las persona y dijo: no deberían preguntar por Wi-Fi donde vayan ¿¿¿??? En serio??? Quién dice eso a un cliente que después de todo el mal trato está abierto a dejar propina por muy poca que les parezca???... Un personaje como él no debería estar trabajando en servicio al cliente.

El gerente a su mesero viendonos: "diles que ya limpiamos la cocina". Eran las 9.40pm. No quieren trabajar en este lugar, así que no vayan a molestarlos ;) I went there at 9.40pm, and they didn't want to work anymore. Don't go to this place!
