Best boba&food in IV
best boba in iv and good chicken
good ramen and boba!
Great food!
Cool staff, good vibe. Good ramen. We spilled a drink and they made us a new one which was really sweet. Thanks for the good service
A good serve of noodle, rice, appetizer and milk tea, with scan-to-order.
The best ramin in Sherman Oaks. It's a small place, but busy.
My favorite boba in santa barbara 🫶🏽
The best I.V. curry place I SB. Friendly service and good selection of food.
Great curry and great service. Young lady was tall and polite :)
I have never had curry ramen before and I had it here and it changed my life. The broth was so rich and delicious and it was filling in the best way! The shrimp was also yummy. The service was great and all the workers are very friendly. The space is quite big and will seat a lot of people. Edit: came back a few days later and tried the lychee tea boba and it was to die for! It is a big size and the drink is quite sweet in case you are not someone who enjoys too much sweetness. If you’re going on a hot day I would highly recommend getting a fruit tea boba from here, it was very refreshing.
Had the vegan ramen, vegan curry udon and crispy tofu, everything was reallyyyy good & i would definitely eat it again. I also love the bubble tea! My favorite is the honey citrus one. :)
By far the best Japanese curry I’ve ever tasted. There are other menu items but I always get the tonkatsu curry. Big portion for a decent price.
Had the Shoyu Ramen, it is FANTASTIC. I ate everything including the soup, not a single ingredient inside feels out of place (IMHO) and for $17 it's really worth the price.
The place is quiet enough and the room is pretty large as not to feel cramped. For a place in IV, they have the best ramen around - not on par with Nikka Ramen but easily accessible. Their highlight is obviously their curry. I have tried both their tonkatsu and chicken curries and enjoyed them a lot. Upgrade to a large serving for the full experience: small servings are on the disappointing side when it comes to the quantity of curry in the bowl. Their curry refill policy is a bit awkward and I have yet to experiment with it so I can fully understand its extent. Overall a nice experience and a nice place to go in IV!
Friendly staff, delicious food. But a small amount of sauces. My favorite dessert is milk tempura.
It tasted so good!! Highly recommend their curry and milk tea, they’re my favorite.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. I ordered the pork kotsu curry, it exceeded my expectations!
The ramen tasted delicious it had a great flavor. I will definitely be back
Delicious food, been here multiple times and orders different things each time. All of it is really good
Delicious! Not sure how's other stuff, but the Chashu Rice bowl is legendary...

I will admit I pretty much have only come here for the boba and have yet to try their food. But the boba is AMAZING. Their quality is very consistently good, both the drinks and the boba pearls themselves, which are always just sweet enough and chewy enough. Would recommend!!
The music taste has my ears in 87 countries during my time here. And in most of those countries I was jumped and robbed. Aka music no bueno. Don’t let that distract from the fact that the food was no muy bueno. The food tastes like a bad high. Some of the menu items are good tho. But that will be up to interpretation because each soul that walks through the door has a different food item linked to the fabric of their existence. The fabric may rip and that’s what happened to me. The post it note wall is arguably the best thing about this restaurant. Very cool to see the artwork of others. It says something about the restaurant when the best thing about it was made by someone else. Take this review with a grain of salt, I’m high while writing this. All I had was mediocre food with no real value and that sparked me to lay all these words on my screen.
Great noodles. Loved the tofu. Perfect for lunch with a friend
I absolutely - love - their Japanese eel curry. It is a counter serve place, and the ambiance is typical for that. The reason for me to go there again and again is the great curry.

$18 Ramen & $6 Boba
Well, the Ramen here is just like instant noodle, salty and awful. However, I strongly recommend the curry here, especially the chicken curry. It is tasty and really a big plate. The regular size curry may be enough for 2 people who eat not so much. Unlike India curry which is thin and suitable for bread, this Japanese style curry is perfect for who like to eat rice. When the curry mixed with the rice, the magic happens. Anyway, don't try the Ramen, but eat curry here.
Nice small restaurant near UCSB. I had the curry pork katsu. The pork was a little tough and the curry was actually not too strong in flavor. The food was served in a bento box like style with sweet and sour broccoli, corn, and a little seaweed salad. Overall food wasn’t bad but I probably wouldn’t eat there regularly.
This place is really good, I particularly like the pork katsu with their house curry, if youre lucky you'll get extra potato in your curry and that's a blessing. I also like their menu, it's simplified which should indicate fresher ingredients. At this time (covid), they only have one chef (who is also cooking for Su's Bowl orders, literally a beast). They also recently introduced their "phreshteas," the drink itself is very refreshing but the boba tends to be a hit or miss. Overall, a must try in IV.
Me and my girlfriend both had the katsu curry. The curry itself was flavorful, I enjoyed the touch of coconut milk they used in it. The size of the katsu was generous and was not overly breaded/thinly sliced like I've had at other places. Could have used more potatoes/veggies in the curry but other than that great plate!

Ramen was lukewarm and had a fly in it.
Came here absolutely famished. The ramen was good but the place skimps a bit when it comes to some of their ingredients like the meat. The food took forever to come out and the service was just okay.
I really would give this two stars except that I will be coming back from time to time and don't want to make things worse for myself. The ramen was nothing special. I wanted seafood but that was not an option. You have to get meat in order to get tiny bits of processed fish. The meat was fatty and not wholesome. The broth was also fatty and not wholesome. The fried octopus was sad. Such a shame to take all those little octopuses and deep fry them so you can't even taste them. All you taste is the greasy deep fried coating. No other flavor. The edamame is usually tolerable, but this last time it was so overcooked it was really slimy. The only things I have found here that are good? The gyoza is delicious and that is why I will come back again. The seaweed salad is good, too. I am guessing they just buy it and there is no way to mess it up. I come here for lunch and there is no way to get the dinner plates during the day which seems really annoying. As for the service? Every time it takes at least 20 minutes to get served. And not once have they made any effort to come out and let me know it was ready. Every time I had to go back in to see what was going on. As far as I am concerned, the only reason to come here is for the gyoza. But bring a good book to read as you will probably be waiting awhile.
I ordered a Tonkatsu ramen and I was very disappointed by the quality. It’s fast food but the prices are too high. This was definitely not fresh, the egg looked super artificial, and the ramen was all stuck together. I also ordered a lychee boba which was good, but I don’t I’ll come here again.
The food and drinks are alright, but be aware of the long wait time! Two times I came here around 8(which is after normal dinner time), ordered a regular rice bowl, and spent at least 30 minutes waiting.
If this wasn't in Isla Vista it would probably get 2 stars. But I keep seeing student reviews saying it's good food for IV, so I get it. I got the tonkotsu ramen and my husband got the tonkotsu curry. Both were okay. The ramen looked like it was just thrown together, the soup was luke-warm and the noodles were pretty standard. The broth had some richness to it, and was decent, but I wish it had actually been hot. The slices of pork were excellent, and the egg was the perfect balance of soft & hard-boiled. The curry sauce and the pork katsu was good, well flavored, but the sauce had maybe 5 little veggies in it..not super substantial in that department. Service was okay. But our server came around with the bill even though we were far from finished eating, kinda awkward. Overall I can see how students find this to be a decent spot for ramen in this area.
For ramen only fast food quality
No people in front of us but waited for like 20 minutes. Rice bowls are extremly small and with nearly 18$ quite pricy. Chicken was cartilaginous. Would not recommend the place.
I don't think a rice bowl worth a 30mins waiting. Drink readys in 15mins, and the ice melt when I get home, makes the drink no taste. One employee making rice bowls without a mask. Used to have a great exp, but never come back.
The ramen broth wasn't very flavorful, and the pork was overcooked. If you don't have to eat in IV, Nikki Ramen is much better.
Price is not worth the service or food, you better off eating at a buffet or your closet ihop
Went there with a few friends and ordered the tonkotsu ramen and a side of japanese fried chicken. The ramen was average but still tasty. AVOID THE CHICKEN. Gave me and my friend food poisoning and it was a miserable night. I ate nothing else after or before so the chicken was at fault. Just don't order chicken at this shop.
First time diner looking for tasty Japanese curry. Tried the interesting combo of eel curry rice. Typical Eel sauce over rice did not blend well with curry. 90% curry sauce and tiny bits of...I'm wasn't sure. Othe entrees maybe good. However, when you have the word curry in the name...well, Good luck

got a huge diarrhea🤮
i spent $28 on one meal here, was waiting for over 30 minutes and my online order still said pending, so i went inside and they told me it would be another 20 minutes. They didn’t accept my order until after i went in and asked them about it. 50 minutes waiting for food is ridiculous.
We ordered 4 meals and waited for nearly 40 Minuten, although the place was empty. Food is ok at best and quite pricey for that quality.
I used to love this place but this morning I got violently ill and found that other people had the same experience please stay away.
I called at 8:30 and they said they close the kitchen a whole half hr before they “actually close”. Looks good but terrible servicing
The egg was saltier than the broth itself.
Came in well before 9 with the OPEN sign still on and they said they were closed. I’ve heard its not great either.
I've been to many curry places but this might be the worst one and its not even close. The chicken tastes expired. The curry somehow taste worse than cheap instant curry. All of this for $20! Will not come again.
