Hello everyone Chicken Express I friends we have went there like three times in the last week and we had fish we had the gizzards and we had hot wings and we were more than satisfied make that 4 times we went the second time for the catfish because it was so hot thick it was just great outstanding fresh Not fishy taste to it and the service it was great the bathrooms clean it was very clean inside so sweet and caring and so personable myself my friends and my family each visit we had a great time and so like I said we've been there within three or four times within one week

The 1st chicken express I've been to that had employees go to our table and ask if we needed anything. Clean, fast and polite employees. Food was good as well.

New owners and remodeled! Great food and fast, friendly service. We are glad to have Chicken E back open.

6/22 review - update. Best tenders!!! Something changed. Food excellent this time. Okra and biscuits were great. 6/21 review - Ordered tenders and a side of okra. Had to wait for the okra to be cooked, which was not an issue. Unfortunately, they fried it in oil that had recently been used with the spicy chicken. The okra definitely picked up that spicy flavor and was not edible by our family.

10/10 for this restaurant. They were so nice, so quick with getting the food out and it was delicious! Would come here again if I lived closer.

We ordered chicken tenders dinner number 1 we had to wait for hot tenders not a problem when the order is correct we paid $22.71 when DQ charged $22.06 and the DQ food was not eatable Really?!?!!

Stopped here after Dove Hunting with my son and grandson. First time at this location, but it's a Chicken Express. What can it I say. Like the other reviewer said not much variety. Great chicken tenders , great chicken gizzards, fried okra, mashed potatoes, cream gravy , roll are all very good. But the sweet tea is GREAT. With what they have what else could you want.

Always a fav! I enjoy a half and half tea though because their sweet tea by itself is just a little too sweet. Chicken was fantastic and came quickly. The facility was clean as well

My only complaint about this place is that the guy that's usually working the drive thru has no sense of personal space. When he comes out to take your order, he leans in your window & puts his hands all over your car. The food is ok & the tea is good. As of now it's drive thru only.

The service is very friendly. We come here every year on our way through while traveling and we've never had a bad experience. I would have given it 5 stars if the decor wasn't so dated and kinda depressing, but that's easily overlooked with good food and good service:)

Chicken is good when fresh. Fish not so good. Too many kids at night. I've worked there before and it was always good food and service.

Doesn't seem like a very clean store, small restaurant with not much seating. Aside from that, the food was cooked through, tasted good, and was semi quick.

I love Chicken Express but this particular location takes too darn long to get your order out you could be sitting in the Drive-Thru for at least 10 minutes or more be prepared don't go hungry

Chicken is average, so are the sides, and the service is terrible. Came through town a month ago and my food wasn't ready until after my buddy was through eating his. This time it took about 20 minutes and it was at least sooner than last time, but the lady behind us was still waiting for her food after we had eaten.

Food was ok, but mens rest room was closed Womens restroom was nasty, with 2 door knobs broken. Place was dirty and in need of serious cleaning, repair, and maintenance.

We went yesterday and ordered 50$ of chicken it was terrible and we found plastic in our fries we didn’t eat it our dog loved it we won’t be back until new management or some drastic changes are made I love my dog but I can’t keep buying her day old chicken and fries with plastic pieces 🤷‍♀️I only put one star because Dottie loved the chicken breast

Horrible service, took 20 minutes to get food waited 10 minutes for anyone to ask to take my order. Several cars waiting no one would help them one car finally gave up and left. Looking inside you could see workers sitting around when there were customers to serve. Not a good reflection on a chicken express. I stayed tbis long just because of the principle of it and they already took my money.

Worst staff ever said it would take 10 min and i waited 30 min after calling in 20 minutes before showing up . two of the employees were making fun of my disabled sister wont be going back !!!! Not to mention they didn't even get my order right after asking three times asked for spicy chicken and got regular!

They don't even deserve a star. I will NEVER step foot back in the Chicken Express in Jacksboro, Tx. We stopped by to get a snack and something to drink, and the cashier decided to laugh at my sister and get another employee as well. It took all I had to walk out of that place without causing a scene. I just opened the door and told "Rachel let's go we are going somewhere else!" Rachel was not doing anything but standing there looking at the menu. There was no reason at all to laugh at her. She has a damn disability. How can y'all be so cold and disrespectful. I pray y'all never have to question or wonder why someone is making fun of y'all and laughing!

Terrible service. Didnt want to take order at 8 when they closed at 9. Told us the fryers were down n would take 45 mins went back n they wouldn't do anything. Next time rude service when handing food n money back. Also manager cusses employees and yells at them.

Back to the old ways. Bathrooms put of commission. tables nasty. unfriendly. Out of chicken strips spicy. Out of plates. owner never been seen. So sad

Sold me some old chicken today. It was obvious that it was a couple of days old. My purchase was at 11:09am and they open at 10:30am. I wish that I could post a pic of it on here.... gross!!!

We've tried it about five or six times now and they've yet to get the order right even once. There's always a side of fries missing or some other annoyance. The whole place is staffed by sneering male children who don't seem to care in the least. This most recent time, they didn't have what we ordered already cooked, so we waited- and they managed to overcook it anyway. We've finally given up and decided to never go back. Good news, though: the Jacksboro Sonic is excellent! Do yourself a favor and avoid the disappointment of this awful Chicken Express.

The young guy who took our order was very nice polite BUT the food was horrible we order cat fish and it was super greasy, the grease was all over our box and it did not have any flavor, my son's Mac and cheese was the same way did not have any flavor. Sorry but I do not recommend you to stop and eating here.
