Bonefish Grill - Jacksonville Beach

Fish tacos were great. Service was quick and friendly. Decent price for most items and dessert pieces were huge. Would recommend.

This place never disappoints! The food is always amazing, on my last visit I had an issue with my Brussels sprouts on my last visit and they brought my out a second plate that was also to crunchy for my liking, I ate enough to not want to send it back and told the server it's not a problem and I'm happy to pay for them.. When the bill came not only did he take them off but he comped our dessert as well.. That's just impeccable service!! They didn't know it but it was my birthday that day, so the free dessert was such an awesome ending to a great dinner! Shout out to Jake for giving us 5 star service!! Highly recommend this place and we'll continue to dine here over and over and over:)

Dinner at Bonefish Grill is always great...delicious food served by friendly, knowledgeable waitstaff in a beautiful ambiance. We enjoy eating on the patio whenever the weather is good. The cocktail menu is also fun. Our favorites are the French 75, the Winter white cosmo & Smokey old fashioned. They also have a great wine list, including our favorite Sauvignon Blanc, Decoy by Duckhorn.

My husband and I had the opportunity of trying this place for the first time for dinner 30th July as we were craving for good seafood restaurant in the Jax area. Outside dining was an excellent experience as the weather cooperated. Our server was very attentive with a great attitude. He answered any questions and was very suggestive. Overall the food was delicious, and the service was excellent! We never felt rushed and certainly enjoyed our dinner.

I have dined at Bonefish Grill on several occasions & the food & service have always been top notch. Our server John took good care of us. I had delicious fish & chips, food came out hot. My friend had the bang bang tacos. We love the itialian bread to dip in the olive oil & herbs. Highly recommended. It was my birthday, a free dessert of a brownie & ice cream.

The food is really good, the portions have a good size. If I can say something to help, the staff should check on us more often. But it's a big deal. I totally recommend it.😊

They make a great bang bang shrimp with refreshing lettuce to eat with chopsticks. 🍤 🥬 🥢

Beaches location: Exceptional service with server, Xander. Attended Bonefish for Sunday brunch and included endless Mango Mimosa's for an additional fee to my entree ($10?...no brainer, Um yes please!) Appetizer: Bang Bang Shrimp, Entree: the Oscar omelet which was done expertly (light and airy) with au gratin potatoes (cheesy and delish). Friend had Bonefish version of French toast which was beautifully presented and not your traditional dish (See photo). All in all a fabulous experience.

I went here for my birthday and had a great experience! The food was delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and made the day feel special. Definitely a great spot for a celebration or a nice night out. I’ll be back!

Warm welcome upon entering. Promptly seated in a cozy booth. Food and service were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Would definitely return again.

We recently ate at bonefish and had the best experience. Our server Kyle was amazing. He recommended the wahoo which we never have had & it was fantastic. My husband doesn’t drink and he suggested a mocktail and it was great. We will def be back and ask for Kyle again!

This food was next level, so so good. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The portions are pretty big, I couldn’t finish everything we ordered, which was great because we had leftovers! Shoutout to Allen who cooked the food, he is such a sweetheart, kind and professional. I wish I could remember our waiter’s name, too, he was also so nice. It was a very busy night when we went and everyone still made us feel like we were the most important table there.

The male employee who boxed my to go food up and brought it out was outstanding. I asked for extra sauces and he got everything perfectly right. He was also super nice. Great experience!!!!

For the last 6 months I’ve returned to Bonefish for 2 reasons, the food and service. My husband and I plus another couple try to go on Friday nights as a ritual. The food is always good, but our server, Jamie is a big reason. Jamie is so personable and made good food recommendations to us. Today we had a very enjoyable early dinner and once again the food and Jamie were 5 stars to say the least. Last time we were there we raved to the night manager about how much we enjoyed our experience. The only problem we ever experienced was when they lost electricity due to a lightning storm. I highly recommend the fish tacos, ceasar salad and fish and chips!

My server Jamie was exceptional. She described the appetizing entrees perfectly and after our selections were served asked us how our meals were and if there was anything we needed multiple times. Such a beautiful smile and gracious demeanor. Jamie is the number one reason we keep returning to the Bonefish Grill. We always receive the excellent service and entrees we expect without exception. We will definitely return to experience delectable meals and libations at Bonefish Grill.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The manager Jordan is amazing. He truly cares about making sure you have a good experience here. I will always come back for drinks, brunch, dinner and literally any other time. Such a great spot near the beach!

My wife and I had a bad experience previously at another Bonefish Grill, so we came to this one. What a difference! We were worried about a long wait because of the almost full parking lot, but we were seated immediately. The food and service were exceptional. We will most definitely be returning to this location in the future.

Have not been to bonefish for a year, what a welcoming staff! Dinner, appetizers, were far above and beyond! Will have to frequent more often! Thumbs up!!!

Went here for dinner last week after a long day and it turned out to be a pretty solid choice. The place had a relaxed vibe, nothing too fancy, which I liked. I ordered a grilled fish plate with sides, and everything tasted fresh and well cooked. Portions were decent and didn’t feel skimpy. Service was friendly, though a little slow when it got busy, but nothing annoying. Prices felt fair for seafood, which is not always the case. Overall, a nice spot if you’re craving seafood and want a calm, no-stress meal.

Went to dinner with friends and family. We all shared the bang bang shrimp - very good. First time I had it at Bonefish. Three of us had my favorite - wood fire grilled rainbow trout. I had the lemon caper butter sauce with mine and thought that it really complimented the fish. One of our friends had it with 4 different sauces but liked the mango based sauce the best. Our server was outstanding!

Great food & service. The bang bang shrimp always brings me back. Scallops are my wife's favorite. But, everything we've had was delicious. We'll drive from Palm Coast (53 miles one way) just to eat here. 👍

I've been to several Bonefish locations, and you can never go wrong with any location. The food is always delicious. My favorite is the Bang Bang shrimp. We tried the imperial crab dip, and it was amazing! My husband and son had the Mahi Mahi and shrimp and they really enjoyed their meals. I had the Bonefish Signature pasta with shrimp. The shrimp are very good, and the pasta was a little spicy but with a good flavor. This is the only time that I've been to Bonefish and the service was not good. I think either the server had a lot on his mind or was just having a bad day. He just seemed checked out. It could be because we sat on the patio. Besides that, we will definitely be back.

The atmosphere was classy and I had the best fish and chips I have had in recent history. They have nice burgers for the non-fish eater in the family, too. The wait staff was pleasant and checked on us often. The only thing I did not like was the sheet of white paper over the table. I get that it cuts down on cleaning time but it cheapens the experience and it’s just weird. Ditch the paper cover and it’s a 5 star place!

Went on a Saturday, early evening. Sat outside, didn't have to be seated, just picked a table. That table was wobbly, loose at the base, otherwise I would have shoved some napkins under a leg. Bang bang shrimp appetizer came out very quickly and was very tasty. Wife had shrimp tacos, I had blackened fish tacos. Everything tasted great, but I would have liked a little more fish in my fish tacos. Price was a little high for something that simple. Service was excellent and Shannah was very attentive.

This was my first time dining in here and I must say it won’t be the last! The food was very tasty and well seasoned didn’t need any extra table seasoning. The drinks were very good, I tried the duval and it’s a must try! The service was very good from the time we sat down till we left.

This location is probably one of the best bonefish locations that I have visited is (assuming because it is a beach location)! Chefs menu had great selections. The seafood dip was very delish and the lobster tails are highly recommended.

I think this particular Location may just be a little different from others. This is my 2nd time here, 1st time getting bang bang shrimp at this location. I just had it Saturday night at another location and there was less lettuce and more shrimp. After speaking with J.P., I did say it was OK and no Mngr needed when offered but he brought out another BBS. It looked the same. I think the locations have different ways of measuring perhaps and seasoning. I appreciate the customer service from everyone! Outstanding in that area. The food is excellent! I had coconut crusted shrimp - the best I have ever had! The same with the people in my party - fish and meat dishes were tasty with a good presentation. The service was good. The only negativity was the noise level probably due to high ceilings and open dining. Reservations suggested.

The food was cooked to order. It was delivered in a timely manner ensuring quality. The overall atmosphere was pleasant with customers and staff. It appeared to be appropriately staffed. Would have been 5 stars if I did not have to get up to find our server for a refill or been offered a Togo bag for our boxes. She barely spent anytime with us, we couldn't even remember her name.

I enjoyed everything, except the imperial dip. Which was the main reason I came. The other location serves it as a dip, at this location it's not creamy. Hard to explain, but it had the consistency of dressing/stuffing. The drinks were great! The service was great! I would go back 🙂

I was disappointed with the lack of lobster on the lobster BLT. It was mostly bread. I should have ordered something else. The service is very good. The macadamia nut Brownie was more like a chocolate lava cake. It was a mostly empty restaurant for a Saturday brunch

I wasn't impressed. My food was cold and my fish was tough . My daughters asparagus was frozen . Out of 6 dinners .....worst . The gentleman waiter....... Had too many tables . He wasn't able to check on us .Had to ask another waiter for his assistance. He was extremely nice but all he could do was ask our waiter to come to.the table . He didn't come right away . I told him the problem of cold food .He brought another plate of asparagus. We were ready to go by then too late . I was a fan of bonefish for years . You cured my thinking . Worst meals ever and I'm shocked .

Again, multiple times when visiting-only one server in the restaurant. There were about 9+ tables he had to manage. Eventually, the bartender stepped in to help out a little bit.

We wanted to spend New Years Eve at Bonefish Grill, Jacksonville Beach because it’s one of our favorites. I love their wood grilled Salmon and my friend, Bang Bang shrimp. We got there at 5:30 and opted to sit at the bar since it’s more festive. We ordered Bourbon Sours and they were delicious. I ordered grilled Salmon (no bourbon sauce), fries and asparagus and my friend Bang Bang Taco’s. When a different waiter delivered our food mine with the sauce. He took it back and a new waiter brought me the plain salmon. As I was eating it it was rare in the center. I asked our waiter if this is how it’s served and he said no. He took it back. In the meantime I told my friend to eat his meal while it was hot. When my salmon arrived by another different waiter, my fries were missing. He wanted to get me more and I told him it was ok because I got new asparagus and my friend was done eating . At least the Bang Bang shrimp was perfect. I thought it was odd the manager didn’t come by to apologize and offer my friend dessert. I guess by that time it was getting busy. We still had a good time.

Food was good, but considering what you pay for it, it was meh. To make matters worse, my wife and I got food poisoning after eating here. The waiter was excellent and friendly though.

Let me start by saying that we are regular customers. We eat there no less than twice a month, as it has had some of the best seafood around. However - and I am going to chalk it up to "pre-holiday screw-ups," the experience last night was terrible. Too few waitstaff, cold food, lousy service and, frankly, management dropped the ball. The sad thing about this was that we had been Bonefish Grill patrons prior to the new managment team taking over, and the previous group let the place go to seed. So now, I'm a bit skittish on whether or not to go back. Once burned, twice shy (as they say).

Service was very slow because our waitress was serving every table in the bar. It took 20 minutes to get our first glass of wine. I called over the manager, whose name is Kari and explained to her that our poor waitress was running ragged and had no help. I told her that we waited 20 minutes to get a glass of wine. Food service was slow too and all we ordered were two appetizers. It took over 40 minutes to be served our food. Kari, the manager, totally turned on us and was fussing at us because she said couldn’t control the bar area. She walked away while we were trying to explain what happened. We treating ourselves to dinner out and this was no treat-just stress, We will not be returning soon.
