Amazing food! First time trying this place at my friend’s recommendation and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and my friend got the birria bowl (not pictured). The price and portion are perfectly matched. The portions are actually huge! I’m so surprised this is supposed to be eaten in one sitting. My dish came with chips and they were so light and fresh, it’s a nice change from the usual chips and salsa you get from restaurants. Service was great, the woman taking our order was very kind. I recommend this place to anyone interested it is really good and worth the price.

Service was exceptional here. The gentleman at the bar on the afternoon of 11/25/24 was very thorough in helping us go through the menu and helped us figure out what we wanted. The food arrived very quickly and the food portions were excellent for the price. The presentation of the food was impressive. The restaurant and restrooms were clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will definitely recommend this place to others and will return again.

I have a shellfish allergy and mentioned this during my first visit and the guy taking our order said it would not be a problem and explained that they use new gloves and clean the grill. I appreciated his brief explanation of the measures they take as I usually just get an "ok" or lost look when I mention my allergy at other restaurants. Also, I've ordered the food through door dash and called the restaurant after placing the order to let them know of my allergy and they are always super friendly and say that will communicate it to the cooks. The friendly customer service is always appreciated :)

Fresh good healthy options. You choose they assemble. We had a shredded chicken bowl with all the fixing and a carnitas one. Both were generous and delicious. Also we shared a taco salad with guacamole, all ingredients were fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend strongly. Kids loved the food, parents approved, all good!

Michael was our bartender and was so nice and attentive! Recommended great drinks and was very friendly. All the food tasted fresh, flavorful and delicious. Mexican without the guilt. Drinks were strong, but not too strong. I will be back for their Monday-Friday drink special for sure!

First time we tried this restaurant at the Town Center. We ordered chips and queso, salmon life bowl and a chicken chimichanga. All were very good. If you get there before 6pm the margaritas are BOGO. We ordered the classic margarita which was just okay ( a little too much sour mix). A plus the bathrooms were very clean! We will be back.

From start to finish, my visit to Fresh Mex was outstanding! Daniel, the bartender, was incredible — not only did he make one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had, but he also practiced excellent hand hygiene and kindly told me about the 2-for-1 special (which was such a great deal!). His attention to detail and friendly attitude really stood out. He even recommended the oh so delicious churros! 😋 Nick, the cashier, was super helpful and made ordering a breeze — he made sure everything was just right. And let’s not forget the amazing kitchen team! Casey and Rosario prepared my sizzling fajitas with perfectly cooked organic rice and beans — every bite was delicious and full of flavor. You can really tell this team takes pride in what they do. Fresh Mex is definitely my new go-to spot for great food, great drinks, and genuinely great people! 🌮🍹👏

The food was amazing. Portions were good. Everything felt and tasted fresh. Prices for the amount of food were reasonable. We got the rice bowls, and they were huge. The sour cream and sauces are available to grab as much as you want, which is awesome. Fajitas had a ton of meat. Definitely recommended. Wish they were full service and not fast casual where you stand in line and order, then get a number and sit down to wait on the food.

Super fresh never frozen. Never microwaved food!!! I recommend the Chicken bowl. Delicious and fresh toppings. Buy one get one margaritas during happy Hour times and all day on Tuesday. Fresh sauces kept cool, sour cream and cilantro crema. Use the app to order ahead. If you’re short on time.

Tacos were fantastic. Had a ribeye taco, shrimp taco, and chicken taco. 2 tacos include chips and salsa. They say it's all fresh simple ingredients and from what they gave me I agree. It looked fresh, good portion size and tasted fantastic. I especially liked the ribeye, was sizzling and juicy. It's counter service but they bring you your food and clean your table so a tip is a good idea.

This place is great, ambiance is awesome for day drinking after a day of shopping, Daniel at the bar definitely makes it a great experience. The place is bright, a lot of sunlight, there is outside dining and an outside bar, their margarita mix is made from fresh fruit, and the food is great! I had their birria burrito! Definitely recommend this place!

This place is in the St. John's town center. A very busy superb area near gate Pkwy. They have a special that you buy 1 , get 1 margarita during working days and guess during lunch time or whole day, don't remember. We had that special margarita BOGO free. It's a nice cozy restaurant, you order first, pay, sit down & they bring your food dishes to your table. They have a bar also after you enter. Service was excellent 👌 and staff is very friendly and helpful. We went for lunch and We Loved it.

Our first visit was wonderful! The bartender/server Daniel greeted us, assisted us with the menu and ordering. He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Drinks: specials two for one at lunch. Food: fresh, fresh, fresh. Generous portions we had street corn, shrimp tacos and a L.I.F.E. bowl. Dessert: churros with chocolate dipping sauce, yummy. Service: Fast and accurate. Will return.

When I first tried this place a few years ago, I ordered the mahi taco. I loved it so much I ordered another as I drank my margarita and munched on my nachos. The mahi was well seasoned, cooked just right and the sauce paired with it tasted delicious. I also loved the mangos diced inside of it. There was a sweet, savory and slight kick from the sauce. It’s what made me come back some months later. The next time I came back here and ordered the mahi taco, it did not taste or replicate the experience I had the very first time I ate here. It was bland and the sauce was soupy on my soft taco but still had some kind of flavor. That little bit of flavor helped me finish. I was highly disappointed. I wondered if there were different instructions on preparing the dish. These pictures are from the night I first tried their barria tacos. The presentation was lovely and I was excited to find out these were really delicious tacos. I loved the queso, it is delicious by itself and on the tacos. I ate everything. I ordered the mahi taco as well but was disappointed again. Third week of December I ordered the barria tacos again and was thrown for a loop. They didn’t taste seasoned, I had to get up and find the salt to shake into my tacos and my dipping sauce. I was not sure if it was me or the dish that changed. I also iksnayed the mahi taco and ordered steak instead which worked out pretty well. My experience here is hot and cold. The food is inconsistent in taste. I tried it a couple of times to give an honest determination. I really want to give it a 3.6 rating but I can only give 3 or 4.

The food was very mid for Tex-Mex standards, however I will say we very much enjoyed our experience because of James. This was our first time dining in, we sat outside. James was so friendly and down to Earth. Literally gave us the absolute best service possible. The atmosphere and the ambiance was great. Such a cute little restaurant.
