Selected this restaurant on a whim and was extremely impressed. Very elegantly appointed interior....great date night location.... The service Grant provided was comparable to the service we received in Grand Cayman....the highest level. Discovered the restaurant was only opened about 2 weeks. Met owner and chef Joe and told him how pleased we were with the service and quality of food. This is a must visit....

First time at SoFi, won't be our last! Sunny took excellent care of us and made wonderful recommendations. Chef is brilliant! Every course was amazing, sorry no pictures of the after dinner espresso and dessert, I was too ready to dig into the lemon cream cake I guess.

Sofi is a hidden gem. The food choices and quantity was on point. Everything was fresh and flavorful.

We’ve eaten here twice and will keep coming back! The food is delicious, the service, top notch and the atmosphere is casually elegant! We have had the calamari, grilled octopus, the Village salad with grilled chicken, the chicken Sofi, chicken Piccata , chicken Francese and the Sapore di Mare with clams. Everything is so good but the Sofi is my favorite! Great job, Joe!! See you soon!

This new, locally owned restaurant is perfect for gatherings of friends and family. Mike has also taken several groups of customers recently, and the food and service have always been on point. Fair warning: portions are generous, so plan on to-go boxes. All in all, a great addition to the San Marco foodie scene!

Saw this place recommended on the scoop for Jacksonville. It was absolutely perfect. The calamari was spectacular. The Mrs had fruiti de mari and she was beyond happy with her dish. I had the spicy arabatta pasta and it was perfection. Drink was a bit overpriced and underserved but was delicious as well. Service was great. Would absolutely recommend.

I had such a great experience here! The Sofi’s Chicken was hands down the best part of my meal, so tender, full of flavor, and honestly one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had. What really made the visit even better was the service. Juliana was my server and she was amazing—so friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. She really went above and beyond and made the whole experience special. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone. If you go, you have to try the Sofi’s Chicken—and make sure you ask for Juliana!

This past Sunday, my new husband and I had a small, intimate micro-wedding. After our marriage license was notarized, we headed to Sofi’s Mediterranean Restaurant in San Marco to celebrate our special occasion. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and exuded a stylish vibe. We were promptly seated, and our server, Jen, greeted us warmly and efficiently took our drink orders. The bar looked chic, and it was entertaining to watch the bartender expertly mix and create our drinks. I opted for the limoncello margarita with a rim of Tajín, which was absolutely delicious. The entire staff was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure our party of 11 had a wonderful time. The bar and restaurant were spotless, the service was quick, and the servers were attentive and accommodating. We all left feeling happy and satisfied, with our hearts full of love and our bellies full of delicious food. Thank you so much for making this a beautiful and memorable dinner to celebrate this significant milestone in our lives.

The Sofia’s atmosphere, staff and food was great! It was a date night for my hubby and I. I walked in to be immediately greeted by the front hostess. Our waitress was so sweet, wish I can remember her name:( but the food was so good and full of flavor. I will definitely keep coming back! Enjoyed the roasted branzino with a glass of wine and the chocolate lava cake. My son and I shared the calamari as an appetizer. Pleasant atmosphere and hostess was friendly. Manager came out to greet us. Will return.

Outstanding food! Waitress was very funny and outgoing. The owner (which is also the chef) personally came to the table at the end of dinner and asked how we liked the food. Highly recommend this place. Will defiantly be back.

Amazing food and experience! The atmosphere is so classy and relaxing and they decorating this place absolutely beautifuly! And don’t even get me started on the food… AMAZING! My taste buds fired off in every direction. I had the veal picatta and my friend had the the blue filet pasta and they were both so good and tasted so authentic. I’ve been looking for a good authentic Italian/Mediterranean place and now I’ve found it! We had the caprese as an appetizer and it was delicious. Victoria was my server and sunny, the manager are amazing and gave me great service. Joe the owner is also very hands on and greeted our table and was very welcoming! Overall and amazing new establishment. I definitely recommend checking Sofis out. My friend is gluten free and it’s hard to find gluten free pasta and this place has it so that’s a huge plus.

As soon as we sat down, we were served fresh, warm bread, which was the perfect start. We ordered the crispy calamari and it was light, tender, and perfectly seasoned. And the cocktails? 10/10 beautifully crafted and balanced. For entrées, my husband had the Veal Sofi and I ordered the Chicken Francese. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. My chicken was incredibly tender with a bright, silky lemon sauce that made every bite delicious. We finished the night with their crème brûlée cheesecake, and it was the perfect sweet ending creamy, crunchy, and full of flavor. What truly stood out was the personal touch: at the end of our meal, the chef and owner came to our table to ask how everything was. That level of care and passion is rare and shows how much they value their guests and their craft. Highly recommend this place — San Marco has a new star! 🌟🍝🍋

From start to finish, the service, atmosphere and food were all amazing. I work with Explore Jacksonville, and when we made our promotional video in collaboration with Joe and Elsa I was very impressed with both the menu and drinks. Everything tasted amazing. I have already gone back for their Amalfi Smash, a signature drink that was sooo good. Thank you Joe and Elsa for an amazing experience.

Second time at Sofi's and both were great experiences. The food is just delicious and the service is friendly and professional. The owner took time to introduce himself and welcome us, amazing! It is not so loud so you can talk, and the setting is so nice. The pasta is perfect, the entrees superb! Our trick is to arrive early to snag parking in front or park across the street.

I would not have ordered them had I known they were potato wedges. We also had the lemon cake. It had an excellent presentation but flavor/texture wise was nothing outstanding. Overall a solid experience. We will definitely return and try some different dishes.

Great experience at Sofi's overall. Victoria, our server was stellar! The reason this was not 5 stars was that they charged a $4 share charge. My husband and I shared a Ceasar salad and entree and were charged $8 extra. Our server notified us when we ordered, but i didn't understand that was for each dish. Seems excessive. Also, entrée was warm, not hot. Other than that, great experience.

The long waits and forgotten requests put a damper on the night. Sadly, we would not return for another evening out.
