Senoritas Mexican Restaurant I was piddling in Google Maps in the Bowden Road area and saw a 4.7 review rating. Took a look and found it was a Mexican restaurant. After some research and looking at the menu we decided to give it a try. So… there’s NO good, there’s NO meh, just WOW! The queso was delicious and we couldn’t stop eating it. The bride got the empanadas app and I got the Banditos fajita, chorizo, bacon wrapped shrimp on skewers cooked on an open flame with yummy refried beans, yellow rice, side salad and tortillas for your fajita. Brought almost half home. Service from KK in a busy restaurant was excellent and our meal and drinks were brought out quickly. Strongly recommend you have a meal there. We had brunch on a Saturday. The breakfast burrito with chorizo and fries and I'm drooling just typing about it. My beautiful bride had chile relleno and it was delicious and enough left over for a snack later. Great prices and service as well. Do yourself a favor and eat here soon.

What a vibe and a good Tuesday afternoon at Senoritas! Owner and servers were very accomodating. 2 for 1 margaritas were the thirst of the town. We feasted on a smoking senoritas board with sausage, steak, chicken rice and more. The queso sauce is to die for. Senoritas close at 9pmSunday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday cöoses at 10 pm.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the space felt inviting. It wasn’t very busy around 5:30, so we were seated quickly, and chips and salsa were brought to the table. Our waitress, Ginevra, was incredibly sweet and attentive. What We Ordered: Flautas (Appetizer) They had good flavor, though I would have preferred them fried a little longer for extra crunch—more like my mom’s. Still, they were enjoyable. Carne Asada with Corn Tortillas My husband liked it and said it was on par with similar dishes he’s had elsewhere. The beans weren’t refried but were made with smoked sausage and beef, which was a unique touch. He’s picky about his rice, but he thought it was really good! Everything was flavorful. Mojito Tropical (Mocktail) This was really refreshing, but next time, I’d try it with alcohol for an extra kick. Limonada de Coco (Mocktail) Absolutely delicious! I would 100% order this again, even without alcohol. Deep-Fried Burrito with Fries and Queso on the Side Since I’m not a fan of flour tortillas, I was excited to try the deep-fried burrito. I added onions and peppers, and it ended up being the best burrito I’ve had in Jax! There was a slight hint of sweetness in it, which was unexpected but worked well. The dish came with fries, which felt a little random, but they were crispy and well-cooked. If you prefer, you can swap them for rice and beans or another side. Overall, it was a great experience with delicious food and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back!

Newly opened and all I can is wow. Liked the atmosphere of the restaurant - very bright and colorful. Service top notch. Everyone greeted us with a warm smile, a friendly hello and always made sure our chips and drinks were full. Food portion and taste amazing. I ordered the deep friend burrito and it was very scrumptious. The mixture of chicken and other ingredients was sweet and savory. The other guests with me all complimented how delicious their meals were. Really hope the word gets out about this restaurant and they are successful. Wished we lived closer so we could come there more often.

The environment is amazing, it feels welcoming and happy, and the food is out of this world! We ordered Loaded Tostones, South of the border tacos and a Pollo borracho, the portions are huge and is so so delicious. Oh I also got a coconut lemonade that it was a 10/10. I live really close by and will be coming back for sure

Our first visit, but definitely not our last visit. I had read the wonderful reviews and they definitely were well deserved. We were warmly welcomed by Delaney, she was so knowledgeable, patient and kind. Absolutely a top notch server! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and so clean. I got the chimichanga lunch special. It was so flavorful and fresh tasting and came with salad, beans and rice. The portion was like dinner size. My husband got the fajita burrito. We frequent many Mexican restaurants, Senoritas is by far the best we have had. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. My picture is after I had already took a couple of bites.

LOVE this place! I had friends visiting from Atlanta who tried it out and convinced me to go with them (for their second time, my first) before they had to travel back home. The food is amazing, the restaurant is so beautiful inside and out, and we got to speak to the owners who are sweet as can be! and the presentation of the food is so cute! i'll be telling everyone about this place! I think I need to explain myself regarding this rating because it’s a place that deserves context. The food here is not mind blowing, it’s more like the meal you feel excited to go home to after a long day. It’s fairly priced, they have good lunch specials and good drinks. What make this place great however is the staff and atmosphere. It is as if I were back in Puerto Rico going to a “hole in the wall” after a long day in the US Army reserves center in Ceiba. They are friendly and welcoming and I thank you guys for that.

We came on Valentine's day. The atmosphere was lively and tasteful. The restaurant interior is covered in gorgeous murals. The service was fast and friendly. Gimena made us feel at home and was very attentive. The asada tacos with rice and beans was extremely delicious, the most authentic Mexican cuisine we have found in Jax. The taco fries had lots of toppings and the fries were the perfect combination of fluffy and crisp.

I’ve been to a lot of spots, but I have never seen anyone run a floor with the kind of grace, speed, and sheer charisma that Michelle brings to the table. Most people walk; Michelle glides. She has this uncanny ability to know exactly when your chips are running low before you even realize it yourself. It’s like she has a sixth sense for salsa levels. Why Michelle is the GOAT: • From the moment you walk in, her vibe sets the tone for the whole night. She treats every guest like a VIP returning from a long journey. • Don't even look at the menu. Just ask Michelle what she’s feeling. She steered me toward the Enchiladas Verdes, and I’m pretty sure I had a spiritual experience. • The restaurant was absolutely packed, but she stayed cool, collected, and incredibly sharp. I saw her balance a tray like a pro athlete while simultaneously making a table laugh at a joke. The food here is incredible, seasoned to perfection and authentic as it gets, but Michelle is the real "special sauce." She isn’t just a server; she’s an icon. If this place doesn't have a "Michelle Fan Club" yet, consider me the founding member. Give this woman a raise, a trophy, and the keys to the city.

I’ve been here several times after moving here last year and love it so much. On my most recent visit,I tried their new Caribbean tacos and they were delicious. Our server KK was so nice and very attentive! I highly recommend it!

Señoritas has quickly become our favorite Mexican spot in town. We love that it’s a hidden gem! But it deserves to be known by all. This is our third time in a few weeks and every single time we’ve had the best service and the best food - oh, and the drinks are fantastic too. We love their guacamole, their queso, the fajitas, enchiladas - the fajita burrito is a must try! Special mention to our server Marife who always gives us the best experience.

Have been to this restaurant twice now and both times Karin was our server. She did a wonderful job and was super nice and attentive. Finally tried Senoritas for lunch after it being on my want to go list for awhile. I met a friend on a Friday at 11:30am. The restaurant was less than half full when we arrived. Service was slow that I had to walk up to the waitress to take our order. She explained that she was the only one waiting that day. I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas and my friend ordered the lunch chicken salad. My fajitas were underwhelming. The chicken did not come on the sizzling fajitas plate. It was just seasoned chicken that was the same as my friend's chicken salad. I do know they serve the entree fajitas on the sizzling plate, so I was disappointed with the lunch fajitas. All in all I would recommend trying something that isn't on the lunch special menu and going when you have more time to spare.

I wanted to take a moment to share some honest feedback as someone who’s eaten at Señoritas over a handful of times in the past three months. I work nearby, and since it’s the closest Mexican spot to my job, and Mexican food happens to be my favorite; I really wanted to love this place and make it part of my regular lunch routine. One of the things I love most about Mexican cuisine is the bold use of spices, herbs, and FRESH veggies; but most of the dishes here taste like they’re seasoned at about a 2/10 level. It’s a little frustrating when you’re craving that authentic, flavorful kick and it just doesn’t come through. The other thing I’ve consistently experienced is service that feels disconnected. I don’t expect over-the-top attention, but I do value feeling welcomed and cared for as a guest. Every time I’ve visited during the day shift( minus one time when the hostess was my waitress), the servers have seemed a bit disengaged, and I’ve never really felt a warm or friendly energy. My last visit was actually the deciding factor for me: my server took my order, the kitchen brought the food, and she never once came to check in. I ended up walking to the bar about 15 minutes after finishing my meal to ask for my check and pay. I always tip 20% or more, but that time I just couldn’t justify it. I say that not to be rude, but to be transparent. Good service can make up for average food, but bad service makes it hard to come back. I’m giving this feedback because I truly see potential in Señoritas it could easily be the go-to lunch spot for so many people in this area. With some focus on flavor and hospitality, it could shine.
