Great cheeseburgers. A family favorite. Able to order ahead in the Sonic app, and my order is ready when I arrive. Friendly service.
Sonic is one of my favorite local restaurants to visit. I love that you dont have to leave you'r car to eat. Or if you want to you can enjoy your lunch at a table outside. The tater tots are simply my favorite! And of course they have an extensive drink and shake menu that's a must try!!
Love this place! Always good food and they have never messed up my order like other places around!!!
They got part of my order wrong but were quick to fix the mistake. The lovely young lady that brought our food out was so kind and did her job so well.
For a Sonic, the food was fresh and quickly made. No issues on food safety either as it has become a real issue for many getting food poisoning. Come here with a clear conscience.
I always get consistent quality here! The staff is friendly and the one time I had a small issue, they were very accommodating and helpful. Everyone there is Covid conscious and do wear masks etc.
Always taken care of. Yes you wait a little but they make there food as you place the order. Always hot and made to order. The drinks also very good and quite the selection. Kudos Sonic!

We got breakfast burritos and they were delicious. You can drive through here or order and pay outside at one of their many drive up spots. The drive up spots have big menus and you can pay right there with a debit or credit card and your food is brought to the car. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches and breakfast burritos and sandwiches all day as well well as tots, fries and mozzarella sticks. There are tons of drink flavors to choose from and they have shakes and cold and hot coffee. There is no seating inside but you can order outside and sit at tables under an awning.
Each time we stop at a Sonic, I find myself saying "why don't we eat here more often" There may be a line, and it might even take what feels like too long sometimes BUT this is acceptable to me because it's about hot quality food when it's in hand. Number one thing for me, I dont mind waiting if I k ow I'm going to be happy after getting my order. It does not matter if its cream or burgers and dogs, always delicious Tge drive k choices can be overwhelming someti.es because they do offer a very large variety of drink options I wish I lived in neighborhood nearby a Sonic to take advantage of more deals offered Sonic is a great choice for hanging out onsite or on the Go
Whoever was on the night crew December 17th, you made the best mozzarella sticks I've ever had from any Sonic. 25 minutes before closing time too, you guys are the realest
Our screen was malfunctioning so the experience was not perfect, but I am giving 5 stars because my burger was probably one of the best burgers I have ever had in my entire life and that is saying a lot. I have had some amazing burgers over the years and I have even had some really good sonic burgers. (This was my first visit to this particular location.) This burger was very unexpectedly off the charts incredible. Whoever was working the grill and putting the sandwiches together on Saturday 4/30/22 in the early evening is truly gifted.
I went there a little after 8 pm and order a cheese burger and. Footling coney. Both items were cold. Really was disappointing because when served hot it's one of the best fast food meals. Paige was very friendly.

I love how you guys do breakfast all day cause they made me wait in the drive-through line at McDonald’s for 40 minutes and even after I finally got to the window to pay. They told me that They weren’t serving breakfast anymore so I left him and went to sonic to get food and I had to wait maybe 10 minutes and I got my food and everything was fresh and it was great and the guy that was in the window hooked me up with a lot of sauce and I appreciate that a lot
I was here the other day and there was a guy named Josh working and he was the absolute sweetest and had the best customer service. They were pretty busy that night and he kept communication throughout the short wait. I feel like these days employees and businesses don't get the credit they deserve! Keep up the great work Josh!
App ordered drinks and food twice and it went quick and smooth. The drive through worked just as well and went with out a hitch.
The order button in their drive up stall didn't work so had to go thru the drive thru, but the food was good.
I am always on the go so it's nice when I can place a Mobile order, its processed quickly and very short wait at the restaurant.
Always polite and quick but the diet dr pepper has been horrible for so long now. It tastes flat and out of syrup everytime I go.
The Jacksonville location makes lemon milkshakes that are to die for! We usually get better service in the drive thru than parking.

I stopped at Sonic for a late dinner after traveling all day. I ordered my favorite tots, and a double cheeseburger with some of their limeade. Everything was cooked to perfection and delivered to my car promptly. Once and awhile I just need to have a fast food burger.
Turns out that if it's not busy at all and you pull into the stall to hit the button, they like to completely ignore it. A number of times ended up having to go around to the drive thru or ordering online and putting the existing stall on my order. Last time I ordered a bacon burger, ended up without bacon. I used to tip well, but now don't see a point. UPDATE 4/24/24 Service has greatly improved and orders are not getting messed up; service is more prompt. Have definitely seen an improvement. I love the smash burger. It was hot and fresh, but my tots were not fresh last night..otherwise the service was good. The folks that work here are always nice. I like this location.
The food was properly made. The menu in the dining area made it hard to communicate with the staff. I don't know if it was on their end or ours. They also didn't know if it was drive ordering or if we were at a car stall. I thought they had a system to tell which button pressed that they were responding to. The service was prompt and the staff were nice.
Had trouble with ordering, bad sound equipment. Problem with the credit card reader. Waitress was very good.

Food was not that hot n need to ask what people want on rheir burgers. Ended up not eating it all because had stuff on there i didn't like. Was prompt that why couldn't understand cool food.
This location used to be great. Not so much now. Food is meh, they are one of the few places open early so if you really need a burger at 6 am you can go here. Prices have went up as well.
Its nice to have a sonics, but they are more a place to get drinks and ice cream not food. As acceptable as the food is, I have never received a meal from them as ordered. Something is always either made wrong, or missing something ordered

Green mountain coffee is my favorite coffee. It is not strong or bitter. The French toast sticks are light and crispy. However the weekend drive-thru staff are not very good and mess up the order frequently
My hubby and I been going there and had great service til today. I waited 20 mins and still no service so I went thru drive thru just to get my food. I WILL NOT GO BACK TO JACKSONVILLE, IL sonic again!! They lost my service!!
They have good food always... service on the other hand not the best. Slushies stay on point. Lemon aid slushie is A must have.... if not lemon you cant go wrong with a grape slushie/ add nurds
I don't go often so was unaware their cups are not strong or well built. Lifted my drink from cup holder, lid came off and I had milkshake all over the place. I paid for a second one. Later, before I said what happened someone else told me how the drinks will leak from the cups. Just be aware
My bun was stale, the onion rings were burnt and the meat was warm. It was late, I was in a hurry, had an 1.5 hour drive ahead of me and couldn't turn around. What was supposed to be a nice treat for myself turned into a big disappointment.
I went for a cherry limeade . The consistency is different everytime . This last time I was there they actually forgot the lime in it so it was definitely off. It's a place where you absolutely must check your order before leaving the drive thru window
It’s an alright Sonic, kids like it but I pass. The daughters toast was actually soggy bread. Nothing special for food or facility. The customer service was good, polite and the food came out fast so that 3 stars. Easy in and out parking lot so you get right back out on the main drag.
I received good service here but my friend in the next car asked a question about the number of cheddar peppers and was told that he should read the menu before pushing the button to order. This little girl may need a spanking...
We only stop at this location due to convenience if we are in the area. We do what we can do not patronize this particular location. Food is subpar to sonic standard for some reason. Orders are regularly incorrect or extremely slow, sometimes forgotten about, and the employees claim they will refund the order to appease you as the customer for their shotty service, BUT really just lie to you to get you gone and do not. On occasion some try to make good with a coupon, but not consistent with the errors. If you go inside it’s a toxic atmosphere where the employees express their displeasure for working there, or are yelling at each other. One out of three time in the last two weeks a gentleman in a black shirt took care of an issue without complaint or false promises like other employees. We used to visit this location twice a week or more years ago until it went down hill.
We stopped by for a quick bite to go. We received our order missing an item, had to request it, and it was brought out. We got home and the missing items (onion rings) were so tough we could not eat them.
I ordered few sandwiches and some fries. My fries tasted burned up so I drove back and asked for a better one. I ended up getting the same burned fries. I now added fries as a 2nd item to my "do not order from Sonic" list. I no longer ordered their soda as I once had a large Dr.Pepper drink and I got was a cup FULL of ice and very little drink. That means no more soda or fries for me at Sonic.
Usually i go to sonic and have no problems but i went tonight and the people working were rude messed up my order completely so they they had to take it back when i pulled up to the window the employees were all the window talking and eating ice cream and took 15 mins to ring up tge wrong order then another 30 mins to fix then gave me attitude never goung again on friday night
35 minutes in the drive thru for 2 drinks. We get up to the window and there are several employees inside playing on their phones while two employees are losing their minds trying to keep up. Not impressed at all.
Really needs to get orders right. You should not have to have them try to fix what u ordered 6 times until they finally get it correct on the 7th attempt ... Smh

I got the chicken sandwich and it looked good and was hot, but it took 25 minutes to get it so I wasn't able to enjoy it. DON'T GET THE CHICKEN if you only have a half hour lunch break.
Fast. Haven't been there for a long time and prices have doubled almost. 2 double cheese burgers are no $6.** each. It was $12.** just for 2 burgers and they weren't even worth it.
I ordered a butterfinger blast and I guess there was a candy shortage or something. The blast only had a small amount of butterfinger on the top and a small amount at the bottom. This is the second time this has happened, just a waist of my hard earned money.
Messed up my (fairly simple) order of popcorn chicken with ranch and cheddar bites. Food wasn't great compared to other Sonic locations. Also got coupons in my bag that expired December of 2018 when it's over halfway through 2019 already.
Window person handed me my drink.. after waiting, I asked if I could have my slider too.. she rolled her eyes like I'd just asked her to find the Arc, grabbed a random bag from her pile and thrusted it out the window. As I drove away, I realized I had someone else's bag.. with a lot more food than just a $1.29 slider.. gotta luv sonic ;)
Slow service. Cold fries. The car hops seem to always hate their job. The variety of drinks is what gives it a 2 star. If they didn't have the drinks we would never go.
Ordered a medium sonic blast and a large sonic blast (simple order and there were only a few customers in the car stalls). Got to the window and recieved 2 medium and melting blasts! One had icecream dripping down the side of the cup. Before I could say anything the window shut in my face. I know it's just icecream but I paid for a large and got a medium and the icecream was melting. A little more attention to detail would be nice.
No matter how many people are here, they always find some way to wither be really slow or they'll mess up your order in some way. The tater tots always have a bad taste but the food is usually good for fast food. The shakes and stuff are ok but I wouldn't go there all the time to get that stuff. Hopefully they'll improve their service in time.
Person taking orders couldn't hear anything we said repeatedly then my husband got a crispy chicken sandwich because of the photo shown and when he got it, it was super tiny, no crispyness anywhere and not the extra mayo he ordered. Even when they replaced it, it was smaller than the first time and still not crispy in any way. Disappointing visit!!
Waited outside at stall #8 for 20 minutes before getting frustrated and going through the drive thru, which kind of ruins the experience. Burgers are big but medium fries were small. Average fast food.
My daughter had ordered an ice cream cone and the employee sat the cone onto the counter. I didn’t think much more about it until later. The cone is edible and should not be sat onto the counter. Especially during this pandemic. Please let your employees know that cones or anything edible, should not be sat onto the counter without a wrapper or something underneath it. If anything, should be given directly to the customer.
After todays visit it will be some time if ever before i return. I hit the button four times and never got to place my order. I have a feeling it may have had something to do with one of the employees having an open argument with a significant other right in front if the building. I say at least 3 other people leave with me.
We just went and got coney dogs with fries and a drink, the girl over the intercom was very nice and professional. When we ordered we asked for sweet and sour sauce and honey mustard, she said okay your order will be out shortly. Food was brought out and dropped off, without either sauce. So we pressed the button again and asked for them. The girl said “we don’t have sweet and sour but we are sending out honey mustard, without even asking if we wanted a replacement sauce! Girl came out with the honey mustard and then we told her that we didn’t have any silverware to eat our coney dogs with. The girl that brought the sauces (first time we saw her besides when she was at another car giving them attitude) then rolls her eyes at us. Brings us the silverware and doesn’t say a word to us. I’m not going to name names because I don’t want anyone to lose a job or be singled out, we just wanted to bring to your attention that the entire staff needs to adhere to the same rules and policies, and have respect for customers. Food was great though.
My wife and I stop in this Sonic from time to time and usually our food is great. Today September 2nd 23 around 4 pm we had a late lunch and it was awful, 30$ waste! Cold sandwiches and tots, lemon lime ade so strong and chem taste. We were both disappointed
Went there for lunch. Sat there for 10 minutes and the light was lit up saying they would be with us shortly. Car pulls up next to us and gets helped right away. We go to a different window, another 5 minutes. No answer! Off to Wendy’s it is.
Ate there couple weeks ago. If it was just me, I would not make this conclusion, as it could have been from other things. But my wife was with me, and she too got shall we say putting it 'nicely', ill.
Instead of giving the same scripted response why not get your problems corrected so you can stay in business! Talk is cheap you have had more than enough time to fix your issues!
Poor customer service and waitress was so new she couldn't follow directions I asked cream and sugar in my coffee and I didn't get it and then she came out and said it was in there and it wasn't so I had to ask for it 2 more times before I was able to get any and It also took forever to get my food how long should a person wait for tots and coffee honestly it shouldn't take 20 minutes I almost left but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and it wasn't worth my time I wont be going back anytime soon sorry
App didn't work, so manager refused to help. So bad atmosphere and service and couldn't try the food.
I waited 10 minutes after I pressed the button and no one took my order, gave me a wait time, or apologized for the delay. The drive-through was moving right along. I left and won't be back anytime soon.
Called in an order and told them what stall I was in and they said they were doing drive thru only. Yet they brought ordered out to card on both sides of mine!!!! I will tell everyone the bad service I got! Have never been treated that bad at any other Sonic!!!
I will start by saying I only get a 30 minute lunch....I ordered my food, and waited 25 minutes and left. I watched several cars come and go and there was a complete break in drive thru. Maybe one car.. it does not take 25 minutes to make a #1 combo with a limeade.... I will never be back I stopped at Arbys and went in. Had my food in less than 5 minutes and out the door.
Tryed this location 2 times. First was the cony dogs whitch was horrable. Gaged on them. Yesterday double cheeseburger. Was cold, also horrable. Wont be back to this location ever again.

Closed their car stalls and refused to help us at the order platform claiming they were drive thru only. We were unable to go through the drive-thru because of our truck and trailer. Very disappointing because we had waited all evening to eat at Sonics on our trip home and they just watched us through the windows and stopped answering us on the intercom.
Absolute horrible service. Pressed the button and waited 10 mins with no answer but 10 cars came and went through the drive through. Try taking peoples order in the bays noone cares about your drive through times, seve the drive in customers first, its call sonic drive in not sonic drive thru.
I just ordered a cookie dough Sonic Blast. It had a couple pieces of cookie dough on top and the rest was solid vanilla ice cream. If you are out of the topping, just say! I would have just got something else. 😥
Me and my wife pulled in Monday evening after her doctor's appointment; we was going to place an order someone came over the speaker and said ( they was not taking any more orders). We watched all the car's and truck's drive away with nothing. Did they run out of food or did they had no one cooking?
Waited half an hour to find out that they had not even started my food and to be treated rudely for asking where my order was. I was one of 3 customers there so being busy definitely was not an excuse. Wouldnt give me refund either and she was supposedly the manager. Whatever.. She can keep it. 05-03-2021, 930 to 10pm
we waited an entire hour for our food, watching everyone that pulled up after us get theirs first. we pushed the button again after about 30 min to ask, and they cut us off mid sentence to say (quite rudely) that they are short handed and will get their order to us when they can (why have 5 other cars already gotten theirs then?). after ANOTHER 20 minutes, i finally stopped one of the food runners to ask about our order, they went and got it and it was all cold. completely ridiculous
Got pretty much everything wrong. Someone in my household had to go to the bathroom. They said the bathrooms close at 7 so they aren’t unlocking it.But someone else in my household went 5 min before went. Ugh. Fries were dry. And more. Every thing is fine but that doesn’t work.
Food wasn't fresh or hot. Asked for a banana shake got vanilla. Chili tasted like it was old and couldn't eat fries because they was to damn soggy. Usually don't have problems but tonight was disappointing 😡. Oh and the service was piss poor. When u go up to the drive threw window your not suppose to say oh u ordered the bacon cheeseburger and ect ect to your customers
My favorite fast food in Jacksonville. Except of this trip the person taking orders on the intercom was rude didn't get our order right. And after trying to correct her she wouldn't listen. My dad died today and the only thing I could imagine forcing down was a Sonic toaster. Well I didn't get it. Now I'm sad with an empty stomach.
It's usually train wreck going through the drivethrough here, but last night when I tried to add a drink to my order for my 4 year old daughter and was told I could not, definitely takes the cake. I was told that she could not add it because she had already scanned my ticket, I don't know what that means and as a consumer why would I? I guess making a quick separate order for my drink was just too much trouble.... Never had trouble like this at McDonald's or Hardee's.
I've been sitting in the order slot for OVER 5 minutes with button activated ! No one has said anything to us . Then a blue truck pulls in I believe 6 slot and they get to order while we are still sitting here!! PLEASE PAY ATTENTION !The girl with hair pulled up and shaved came out to deliver other orders 2 times. I talked to another girl who came out she did apologize and verbally took our order. I appreciate her kindness for that. It was stated a car broke down at window and they were waiting on the tow truck to pull it away. I understand that is a problem but better management of how to handle the situation should of been applied and that shouldn't effect the people in slots trying to order.
So last week they had the #13 chicken club toaster, this week I was told they haven't had that in over a year. You have the chicken and the toast, you have the condiments.. Why lie to a weekly customer? Lol place has been on the down hill for a while now.
Went throught the drive through just now. Ordered some food and 2 sonic blast. Food was handed out to us pretty quick. But it took them almost 10 minutes to get our icecream. 3 cars behind us got their comple orders as we waited. When we got our icecream my sonic blast was all icecream and a small chunk of cookie dough on top. Just talk to someone who said he was one of the managers. He would not listen to me. He tried to tell me what I received was standard. What a way to run a business. Would love to talk to corporate about this.
I always order the ultimate meat and cheese burrito and it always been perfect but the last 2-3 times I have order it they put tomatoes, jalapeños and onions on the burrito and no bacon at all. I end up having to take all that stuff out of my burrito because that is not what I ordered or want.
Everything and the people were great. But I asked for no onion no pickle. And I got extra of both and didn't know until I was home 35 minutes away. I have texture issues with crunchy vegetables, so it was completely inedible for me..
Drove through last night around 10 pm, as I was driving through town. I ordered a Jr cheeseburger, add bacon with mayo and ketchup. When the lady read back the order asked if I wanted all the other condiments. I said "No, I just want Bun, burger, cheese, bacon, Mayo and ketchup" she read it back and included onions" I said "No onions I'm allergic" She said "Okay" I have to wait for the order because they cooked fresh tots (which the container had 4 tots in it) When I got the order it was hot, so I waited until I got down the road to open it. The burger was COVERED in onions. It's a good thing I could smell the onions and didn't eat any. But it also had no cheese, and no ketchup and 1 of the smallest pieces of bacon I have ever seen. I called the store. Explained what happened and was told I could come back. I explained I was out of town, I don't live here and will won't be coming back here. I was just driving through. I asked how we could resolve this because I paid 8 dollars for a burger I can't eat and 4 tator tots. Asked if they could just refund my money to the card and the guy that answered thr phone hung up on me. This is completely unacceptable to give someone something that they are allergic to then keep their money. Do not support this business.
They would rather talk and horseplay around then pass your food out the windows they want take 15min on talking while your food is at the window....never again will I go there
Foot long chilli dog looks like it had been cooked 4 or 5 times a couple days ago. Gross worst sonic i ever been to.
Just ordered drinks from Sonic. I have always enjoyed their drinks; however, today when we drove up to the window they did not have our order. Then they gave us three large drinks with no ice. I realize this is their busy hour; but, when we.told the cashier there was no ice, he replied. I did not fill the orders. So much for customer satisfaction. NOT RECEIVED HERE THIS TIME.
Try double checking orders before you hand them out. 2nd time our order was incomplete!!! I really don't think anyplace in Jacksonville can get an order right! That's why 99% of the time we go to springfield!!
I was just at this location in Jacksonville Illinois just getting off work and I ordered a number one combo, an I noticed the African American woman who was working there through the window didn't have a hat on, nor a name tag,eating something out of a white cup while bagging orders an was also messing with her cell phone while bagging up orders. And when I was at the window I also got a big smell of pot when the employee opened the window to take my money. I don't appreciate spending my hard earned money in an establishment with employees who are doing things I know they shouldn't be doing. Please take care of your store or you will lose alot of customers due to poor management.
