Being from Arizona, I looked high and low for a true New York dining experience and boy, did Robbie T deliver the best I have ever had. Starting with Robbie himself welcoming my daughter and I as if we were family with a warm and sincere welcome, next, his team brought out unbelievable wings swimming in the most delicious sauce you could imagine. Then the grand finale, a calzone that cannot be justified by words alone. The size, the taste, and the glares given by everyone just walking in! I tried my best and didn't want to stop, but had to ask for a box to take the remaining portion that was double that in size alone of any other calzone I have ever had out west! Thank you Robbie T for making this visit with my daughter most rememberable and the greatest experience I had in taste, portions, and hospitality. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

What a great experience I had here! First of all the owner Robbie was one of the nicest people I've ever met, his staff was so friendly and accommodating and the pizza & wings were the best I've had in the Syracuse area! One of the best-kept culinary 'secrets' in Central New York. I've eaten my way through most of the tri-state area and consider myself a calzone aficionado - Rob makes the BEST calzones, hands down. As big as your forearm and bursting with flavor no matter what fillings you choose! If you call during their business hours & there's no answer - it is only because they are extremely busy and literally cannot get to the phone! When this happens, I just jump in the car and GO to place my order in person. The end result is always going to be that beautiful garlicy, cheesy, golden brown-crusted piece of food heaven!! My wife and I tell everyone we work with and everyone we hang out with about Robbie T's - it's only going to get busier! ; )

Robbie has some great food and is very welcoming, can't wait to try some of his other items! The garlic pizza and the hot- garlic wings were phenomenal and we were drooling on the way home. Mozz sticks were perfect and had great pull!

I’ve went to this amazing pizza shop for years but recently moved up the road. Last night my girlfriend ordered 2 calzones and a pie. It was so busy he asked if he could call her back. HE DID. Set the order up and when she showed up with her toddler her carried the pies to her car for her. 10/10 best pizza place in the Syracuse area however long running. You’re the man Rob!

I called ahead to order pizza takeout. I arrived a little early and observed good service and Robbie. Very busy putting orders together and greeting customers when he had 3 seconds. This was one of the greatest experiences I have had at a restaurant. Robbie greeted me as I walked in, and he was very personable, and he was also incredibly passionate about making pizzas, and his happiness is infectious! I told him how much I loved pizza and how far I came, and he shared a slice of cheese burger pizza with me his favorite, while I waited for for my large mush green pepper and half eggplant pizza. My pizza was very good and so was the slice of cheeseburger pizza. I highly recommend the eggplant pizza. It was perfectly crisped and so delicious! I will definitely come back and get a large cheeseburger pizza next time! (Also it is cash only)

Robbie is amazing at remembering his customers. I visited a year ago and two years ago when I was in the area and he welcomed me back like I was just there yesterday. The garlic knots are awesome and the toppings on the pizza are over the top. Prices are very affordable and the servings are more than ample. I had the calzone last year and it was absolutely stuffed with toppings. Also had the wings two years ago, good size and great flavor. If you are in the area, stop by for an awesome meal at a very affordable price. Guarantee you won't be disappointed. Just stopped in again 1-1/2 years since the last time I was in the area, and Robbie still remembered me and what I got the last time. This time I had a calzone deluxe and garlic knots. My co-worker had pepperoni pizza and neither one of us finished. Absolutely hands down awesome food, huge portions and amazing atmosphere.

I love this place so much! Robbie T is right there with his employees, working right with them. He always has such a positive attitude! 100% of the tips ALWAYS goto his employees aswell! He makes every visit so memorable and amazing! The pizza is perfect to me! It has a nice and thin under crust that barely sags. The end crust is nice and crispy with plenty to hold onto aswell! The pizza is EXACTLY what I think of when someone says 'New York Style Pizza'.. I have had pepperoni, CBR, and garlic pizza from him. I'm no expert but they always taste fresh! This chicken and bacon he uses are chunky enough to satisfy the desire without over taking the entire pizza! His garlic and pepperoni pizza are yet again, to me, perfect! He always uses a healthy amount of sauce for you to taste without the cheese falling off! I could go on and on and on about this man's pizza, but you're not going to read this much I'd you're second true love isn't pizza. Like myself!

I've driven past this place every time I go to our office. Today was the day I stopped in. Right off the bat Robbie made me feel like I've been eating here my whole life. When you read the reviews for Robbie T's you'll see that said over and over. While I sat and ate two customers came in, he knew everyone by name. In an age where you can call a million pizza places and order food from miles and miles away, Robbie T's shows the heart and love of a community that proves, there are still places left in the world where you must absolutely...stop in and say hello! Well done Robbie and company! Regarding the pizza, great cheeseburger pizza, dough was light and fresh and the ingredients were fresh, while sitting Robbie brought over chicken fresh from the oven, (his treat); outstanding! Chicken melted off the bone and was perfectly seasoned. I've posted a menu for anyone looking! I'll leave you with this, stop in and say hi, you won't regret it!

Robbie's is just flat out amazingly awesome. A great find and a must stop. Not only does he have amazing food, best garlic knots ever by the way, but he's just an awesome guy. Cooking, chatting, CARING. he actually cares about anyone walking through his door, and wants everyone to be happy and good. The vibes are nothing I've ever experienced before, he is just a really great person. The food was absolutely delicious, we had pizza and knots. Crispy crust has never been my thing, but idk, his is good, and i do like it. Gives it like a NYC flare. I did notice there's no tip jar? I don't like hand outs either, but I like to give hand ups! I think you should implement one. If not for yourself, maybe a local place. Or use it for extra supplies or save it in case the restaurant needs something. Some things never change. Used to come here on Friday nights with friends. The food is just as good as ever. Robbie has a memory like a trap, and still makes the best wings in CNY in my opinion. Update: came through town again and it's still the awesome Robbie T's! Should have taken pics before we dove in but oof! Those garlic knots were dreamy. Thanks, Robbie! My Southern -born boys don't get many opportunities for good NY pizza and wings.

Not usually a fan of sheet pizzas but somehow Robbie breaks the laws of pizza physics and delivers a crispy version that isn't the puffy doughy mess these things turn into elsewhere.

Haven't been by in years, and felt like I was right at home as soon as I walked in the door. This guy is the real deal, he loves his customers, and clearly they love Robbie T. Next level tasty calzones big enough to feed the whole family….and possibly still have leftovers. You know when a place asks you if you want you wings cooked “regular or crispy?”, then they clearly know what they’re doing, served in a box & still crispy when I got them home. A man who takes that much pride in his food & business doesn’t have to be the nicest guy in town, but he still is! 4.9 stars is scored too low, if there was a 5.1 rating this place has earned it. Holy Jeez, Robbie T's After all the doggone reviews, we finally decided to take a chance, bite the bullet, brave the traffic through construction on the interstate to go visit Robbie T's Pizza in Jamesville from Liverpool. We tried to order on the phone ahead of time, and couldn't get through on the phone. So there was a bit of trepidation, as we were concerned from some other reviews that he may already have run out of pizza dough. We got down there at approximately 10 minutes till 1:00 PM, and he was working prep and the oven by himself. I placed an order for a calzone with pepperoni, and a Cheeseburger pizza. Robbie apologized and said that there might be an extended wait, but he would " take care of me". The man is a Master of Understatement, lol. 25 minutes later he told me that my order was ready. There were a couple of regulars sitting at a table, and gave me a good natured warning to be prepared to be amazed. The cheeseburger pizza was awesome. It's strained the sides of the box, and was liberally sprinkled with hamburger meat, and dill pickles. I swear by the FoodNetwork Gods, it tasted just like a smash burger! I'm a big guy, eating a half of a large pizza at a single sitting is no big deal for me. I managed one slice of this, and I was done, lol Now, about that whole calzone thing... Everybody here has shown pics and said "it's as long as my arm" Well, trust but verify.. you can see by the tape measure in the photo, that the calzone measures 19 inches or so from tip to tip. It's packed full to bursting with mozzarella and/or ricotta cheese, and a ton of pepperoni (That's how I ordered it). Between the two boxes, it weighed about as much as a small child, lol. AND tasted amazing. Total cost for both items into less than 40 bucks, And it could easily have fed 10 people. So, hype? Heck no, FACT! He's the real thing, old school and all. Now, if we could just bribe him to move a bit farther north in the county so the drive wasn't as long, lol.

Brought a crowd in here on a cold winter evening.. we received outstanding service, and hot fresh food that you can tell has so many homemade ingredients. The crust is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, the wings had the PERFECT crispy texture, with homemade bbq sauce. The garlic wings were so delish. The owner seems like such a genuine guy, who really enjoys what he does and puts his all into it. I also appreciate that he brought the food right out and cut the pizza into smaller slices for my kids, even with me forgetting to ask!! BEST pizza I've had in the Syracuse area.

Robbie T's treats you like family. Great atmosphere, GREAT conversation even when they were swamped the day before Thanksgiving he still made time to have a conversation and see how everyone was doing. The food was incredible, so full of flavor and the calzones are huge. Absolutely amazing and I will definitely be going back.

This is exactly what they mean when they talk about a friendly neighborhood vibe. Firstly, as soon as I saw the little library out front, I knew I liked this place. Greeted as soon as I walked in by a genuinely friendly employee. Not moments after that, the owner, Robbie T, enthusiastically introduced himself and thanked me for coming into his establishment. I ordered two slices but had I known how massive they were going to be, I only would have needed one. Hot and fresh, tasted great and only $5. I literally had a conversation with every single patron in there and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Robbie T knew everyone's order as soon as they came in and casual conversation filled the place the whole time. I highly recommend supporting this business! I will definitely be back.

Robbie T is a treasure. His hospitality is unmatched. One highlight is that he brought over a free sample of his cheeseburger pizza. It was fantastic. So were the pepperoni pie (yummy sauce), streak fries and curly fries. A young man helping behind the counter was also quite nice. Robbie clearly works hard at his craft and really appreciates his customers. Everything was superb.

Please consider accepting credit cause people do not mind paying extra to be able to pay word credit. I can order much more with credit. People do not really carry alot of cash nowadays.

Had an amazing experience at Robbie T’s for the first time with my family. The service was exceptional and everyone was so friendly that worked there! I highly recommend Robbie T's. Local place that makes you feel like family. I stop in once a summer when I'm up and it's awesome to interact with Robbie himself. I asked for the fries be cooked well done, they were perfectly crispy and he offers large serving portions. My turkey hoagie with the works hit the spot. I love that he asked if I am okay eating my sub on fresh warm bread out of the oven, YES! A solid local spot, everyone comes here. I recommend this establishment!

The pricing was incredibly reasonable, which is really hard to come by when ordering out. Not only was everything reasonably priced, but also everything tasted so good! In town from Toronto on a school football trip to the university. Didn’t want to eat at a nasty fast food joint chain and we found this gem. It’s worth an extra half hour drive if you have to do it. Truly authentic down friendly atmosphere. All the food was absolutely incredible and was devoured within seconds.

We traveled from Plattsburgh NY to Syracuse (aprox 230 + miles) to visit family during the week of Thanksgiving. Robbie T's was at the top of our list to visit and we were definitely not disappointed. The calzone was delicious and it was large enough to feed 2-3 people. The owners and staff were very accommodating and the service was excellent and we could tell by the steady flow of customers, that we made the right choice. We will definitely visit again. 😊👍

First time and the owner is great. He is about the friendliness person I have interact with at a Restaurant. Love the Old School Pizza Shop atmosphere. The calizones were huge of course. No skimping here. My only suggestion is to tweak the seasoning a little. The garlic butter is amazing, but the cheese , veggies and "stuffings" need some seasoning to bring all the flavors together especially for the vegetarians out there. Overall it was great and we will definitely be back, especially since I am not a vegetarian, had family that was, and love cheese, sausage and pepperoni.

First time stopping in to Robbie T's today. I got two slices of pizza but realistically might've only needed one because of the generous portions provided. The staff were all very friendly and made sure to keep a welcoming atmosphere every second you're in the restaurant. The pizza itself was very good (and I'm not kidding when I say it was cheap for the size of those slices). I unfortunately don't live in the Syracuse area or else I'd make Robbie T's my go to spot for lunch on busy work days. This business deserves all the success and good reviews it's gotten. The only slight inconvenience is the fact it's cash only but there's an ATM right in the restaurant and it surprisingly dispensers $10 bills which was a first for me. 5 stars all around.

I use a cain to get around. The gentleman were sure to walk me out and make sure I got into my car safely. They did let me try to hold our 2 calzones and I must admit I don’t think I could have gotten them to my car. Once home we dove in (had to the whole ride home was a tease, the smell was fantastic). We got 4 calzones for my elderly father's birthday. When we called, there was a long wait but they called us back after ordering and let us know they could get it ready earlier than expected. Which was fantastic since we live 45 minutes away. The people there were so lovely! Even though it was insanely busy each person took the time to say to pass on happy birthday to my dad. Wow, YUM! Can I rate higher than 5!! Ordered a calzone with both cheeses, mushrooms, meatball & sausage. It is the length of your arm & oozes with delight once cut into! The aroma of the garlic butter slathered on top just makes your mouth water. Delivered to our table steaming hot & it was SO fresh & delicious. Mr Robbie has been doing this since 1979, works 16 hour days & tells me he makes about 300 calzones a day! Not to be missed! Thank you.

This place is an absolute gem. Greeted immediately, friendly, smiling faces. Owner was front line with what appeared to be the only employee working beside him. They made suggestions (which by the way didnt disappoint) there were people at the tables and coming in to pick up orders who were so proud of the establishment that they joined the conversation with their favorite items, one gentleman even opening the box to reveal his cheeseburger pizza that he said "HE CRAVES" every single thing about this place made me happy. This is hands down the best place all around that I've been to for food! Robbie and the ladies of his shop are so so welcoming, genuine, and down to earth! Let's not talk about the prices because they can't be beat especially with the quality and quantity of the food!!! Only thing I can think of is because the food is made with an amazing amount of love!! The hour drive is well worth it for me ❤️

After hearing so much about the gigantic calzones we had to stop by. Robbie is a real good guy and he steered us right. Love the old school pizza shop atmosphere and smell of this place. I asked for extra cheese on the calzone and Robbie says you don't need to order that trust me. Boy was he right. So much creamy cheese filling in the calzone and the garlic butter topping really accents the calzone. Thanks Robbie hope to see you again.

Been hearing about this place from FB for a while. And today we took the drive!!, well worth it!! Omg everything was sooooooooo good..I wanted 2 canzone but was only able to get one, due to all the orders and was able to squeeze one in!! But in compensation he made a killer honey mustard chicken tenders sub! BOMB! The twisty fries GREAT! But THAT CALZONE!!!!! AMAZIINNGGGGG!! omg I'm dancer when I'm eating good food..This thing almost made me do a back flip and I never did one in my life!! Lol Everything was GRRRREAT!! And the customer service was very pleasant and apologetic for not being able to make the other Calzone! Thank you!! thank you! thank you!!! DEFINITELY will be back!🤤🤤🤤🤤

Amazing! We went there for a calzone because we've seen all the hype online, and it definitely lives up to the hype and then some. We met the owner, he is amazing such a nice person and he loves what he does. We will do the drive from Cicero to get this awesome food.

Chalk another amazing review for this amazing place. It would be an understatement to call the employees here friendly, because in this age of limited contact and colder people, someone who stops their busy work in the kitchen merely to wish you a nice day on your way out the door is simply first class people. They must be,the parade of people who went in and out were all like first name basis. A model small business that's getting desperately harder to find. Not sure what else I can say about the food that hasn't been said,wings were perfectly made,not too crispy which for me is a good thing, amazing sauce, which incidentally is something else,like a standard wing sauce yet with a distinct yet not unpleasant black pepper edge to it. The calzone is all people say it is, including very huge and delicious. Finally,and I know this is a long winded review but lemme tell you, a big family is hard to feed with today's prices. So when a calzone feeds 4 of the 5 of us with some left over for next days lunch, it's a blessing. Barely 30 bucks for a missile sized calzone and 10 wings that are better cold when eaten later than most places are when eaten fresh. Bless you Robbie T's.

Pizza was delicious. We had a Medium sized Hawaiian pizza that was made fresh. I could Smell it as soon as it was taken out of the oven. The Owner is a super friendly, sweet and very knowledgeable guy! They also offer cute canned/jarred foods and homemade candles! I Would absolutely eat here again. Felt very cozy and comfortable being inside. Oh, before I forget…. you can’t beat the prices!!

I came in the lull between lunch and dinner crowds. Service was very friendly. But be prepared to wait; each calzone is made to order.

Got a pepperoni slice. Robbie is a great man. I just wish his pizza making skills complimented how good of a person he is. No seasoning or flavor on the slice. Looked incredible though.
