Amazing food, awesome atmosphere. Amazing family and young inspirational chef..
Wonderful visit all the way around! Very attentive staff and awesome food!
This place is so great! I wish I lived closer and not 4.5 hrs away. This place is a must when in the area.
Great breakfast nice atmosphere good coffee. And the staff was very friendly
Loved it. Great homemade food & wonderful friendly staff!!
Awesome place run by awesome people. Heard it was closing soon, so get there. you wont be disappointed!
Great atmosphere. Attentive an quick service. Amazing food.
I miss this place so much, I hope everyone who put smiles on faces are safe and well and hoping a re-opening will come 🤞🏼🤞🏼
The breakfast clubs food is amazing but the place is peaceful & special.
The best quality food served by wonderful people in ambient style
Great food long wait , but worth it. Open again
Great place best Breakfast everything is excellent 👌
Great food options and great service from this family run business. A hidden gem that it appears the locals all know about. Next trip I am sure we will be stopping by again.
Food and service was and always is awesome. The bread they make is "OMG" good. All handmade dishes nothing frozen. Huge proportions. Relaxing non rushed atmosphere.
Great home made food, good prices and a loving staff. Visit them for breakfast you will not be disappointed.
Delicious food every time, expansive breakfast menu and delightful staff. It's like the olive garden of breakfast, when you're there, you're family
Food was delicious. One of the best greek omelets I've ever had. Worth the out of the way trip. The server was so sweet to my boys.
Great place for a great breakfast. Not fast food, slow down take a few and enjoy. Continuously changing menu means something new each time you go.
A place of a loving atmosphere spectacular service and awesome homemade food and bread. Whether your in the area or not a wonderful place to eat.
Food was great and the staff simply couldn’t have been more lovely. The portions are for real, so don’t let your eyes be bigger than your stomach!
Everything is made to order. Don't go if you have somewhere else to be. Sit back, relax, and wait for your special order food. You won't regret it.
Extensive menu full of options and speedy and attentive service. Be aware that the portions are very generous.
Family owned.. they come to your table talk to you if you're a new comer or a return customer. Food 5 star!! Food is incredible!
One of the best breakfasts and lunch joints I have ever eaten in. Fresh, delicious and a very creative menu. A must if you are in the Catskills.
One of my favorite breakfast places ... never rushed, great food, special people :<0)
Great place. I enjoyed the breakfast, they have great home fries and tasty coffee.
Best place for food in town! Excellent atmosphere and the friendliest people you will ever meet!
Excellent experience as always! Good food. Good service. Great atmosphere.
What a great meal, and warm and inviting service. Can't wait to go back. Keep up the good work.
Like this place a lot. Family owned and run. Lots of unique and delicious items on the menus.
The staff, atmosphere, and food is absolutely amazing! I go to The Breakfast Club as often as possible!
Delicious food. Great portions. Amazing volunteer staff!
Great breakfast. Large amount of choices. Service was great
Awesome mom and pop breakfast spot. Expect a wait for your food but it’s worth it.
One of the best omelettes I've ever had. The French toast with Nutella looked demonic. I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with their offerings. Small town breakfast place is perfect. Staff are attentive and friendly. Great for families. Looking forward to going back hopefully soon.
Incredible breakfast 🍳 with my husband! He had steak and eggs, which we both agreed were absolutely delicious!! I had the fried mozzarella with eggs and prosciutto — OMG completely rave worthy! The service as well was wonderful, and we played some Connect 4 to pass the time. We will DEF be back!
This is our favorite breakfast place in the area. If you are looking for a place that offers diverse, home cooked breakfast options, this is the place! All the profits go to Christian charity, but it's not "in your face". Very lovely people who seem to care for the community and delight in serving quality food. It's not cheap or fast if that's what you want you won't find it here. 5 stars!
This is an awesome place for b-fast as well as lunch. 1800 era building, good vibes, great menu, good service, nice family run business. The food was great, healthy and diverse. It was a beautiful, sunney day in the foot hills of the Catskill mountains. I truly recomend them.
Wonderfully family owned restaurant. A Very friendly staff. The Food is Absolutely Delicious. Try the stuff French toast. And grandma's biscuits and gravy is definitely worth a trip.
Awesome people. We love them
Best breakfast and lunch spot in the area, custom order of Jalapeno pancakes with sausage gravy over top and eggs over easy above..... best I've ever had. Wonderful founders that were a pleasure to chat with
Enjoyed a great breakfast with my boyfriend Bob and his boys at the "The Breakfast Club" in Jefferson NY. I really recommend this place great food..it is a non for profit place that the proceeds go for feeding the hungry children This is all volunteer people working, the money for the food goes back to cover costs and the tips go to the hungry children. The woman named Amy greeted us and told us all about their place, made a joke about service being lousy(really wasn't) but the food being great.(excellent) Everything made fresh to order, homemade breads, and other interesting foods on the menu, so if your ever in Jefferson go to the breakfast club Sunday thru Saturday 7 am to 2 pm!
I have been here a few times now. It is the best little place to get brunch. Their menu is huge and offers many different options. The food is always incredible, and they make all their bread fresh on site. And the people that work there are always so nice! It may be a little out of the way for most people, but it is totally worth the drive to check this place out, and the mountains make for some beautiful views.
Hands down the most outstanding food, service and atmosphere. When you're there you feel like you're family, Aimee and her family put love in all they do and it translates to the most amazing food and experience. The menu is extensive and made to perfection, if you're ordering anything and don't get their TBC fries, you need to reevaluate your life.great experience and worth every penny, happily going again
The food, service, and atmosphere are exceptional. The best part of eating there is the warm greetings and hugs from Amy. She is truly an amazing & loving woman. Wish I could go there every day. Their homemade hashes are outstanding and their pancakes are huge, and their frittatas are mouthwatering.
Everyone is very friendly there. The pancakes are huge like literally big as your plate and they feel you up. You get two pancakes I couldn't finish both so I took my second one home. Everyone is very nice there and they have things the kids to do like coloring pages they even had hats to make one time I saw. We love going there.
I travelled two hours by motorcycle to meet a friend here for a late breakfast. This was close to the midway point between us. At the time it was cash only. It may still be, so bring cash! The service and atmosphere were great and very welcoming. The foot was phenomenal! I thought corned beef hash would be a good choice, then I saw that they have eight different types of hash. I tried two in addition to the corned beef. If you are in the area and can, you NEED to stop in and eat! You will be happy you did!
I’m still not entirely sure what this place is but it was like visiting an alternate dimension. My husband got bacon gravy over a biscuit (have never seen bacon gravy before!), and I got the stuffed French toast. At first the French toast seemed a little dry but with the syrup? Perfection. Servers were very sweet, and there was some type of Christian history lecture/sermon going on at a nearby table so I’m pretty sure that fulfilled our Church obligation for the week 😉 Definitely a place to relax! And I really like their mission (they donate profits to help combat food insecurity, according to their menu, which is a great read in and of itself).
Had a lovely brunch with my friends over this weekend. We had a large party of 8 which they managed well. It was cash only so there’s your heads up. Food was phenomenal, the tbc fries are amazingly seasoned and the breads from any of the dishes were fantastic. All 8 of us loved our food, and Ron (owner or manager) was kind enough to keep us busy with some history and storytelling while we waited for the food. He made sure everything was perfectly cooked and prepared and was even kind enough to have us try some extra items on the menu. We all left full and satisfied. The message and purpose of The Breakfast Clubs volunteer work is admirable. I’d recommend trying their GriddleCake, frittatas and French toast. Overall Ron was exceptional at making our brunch prefect. We will be back!
We came here during a trip to Stamford and were blown away by the food and service. The food tasted fresh and you could tell everything was made in house and from scratch. Amy was so kind to us and her and the staff surprised my boyfriend with a frosted biscuit for his birthday. Not too much is open around here during the week, so we were so happy we found this place!!
By far the best breakfast I’ve ever had. By far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever dined at. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The menu is incredible. I wish they were open more days, but happy to find out they are open in the winter. All the people that work there are delightful. The homemade bread and bakery items are awesome. It’s just wonderful!
Leave your phones in the car and just enjoy being in the moment. Food is excellent and staff is top notch! Great place to go for breakfast or brunch. One of the few places open for lunch on a Monday until 2pm!
Excellent across the board. Frittata, along with the biscuits with gravy, were great, The TBC breakfast potatoes were also quite delicious. We cannot wait to return and try more menu items. The staff were the icing on the cake...so friendly and helpful.
Our server was very friendly, service was great. I haven't had biscuits an sausage gravy that good in a long time. Coffee is wonderful. We don't live too far an are definitely making a habit of going there. Everything is homemade.
Cute place with unique and delicious menu items! The fresh homemade bread makes great toast. If you are in the area of Jefferson, NY, The Breakfast Club is delightful for breakfast or brunch.
What a delightful experience breakfast was here! The food was great; Lydia was a perfect host; the space beautifully decorated.
the breakfast we ate here last week was honestly one of the best I've ever had! Joanne was the most polite and down to earth waitress I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Very pretty view and nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend this restaurant!!! Will definitely be going back!!!
It is worth the hype and I absolutely love their fries. It's definitely a foodie visit destination in a small town that has three other great gourmet food destinations.
I am never disappointed when I eat at The Breakfast Club. My 12 year old daughter considers it her favorite breakfast place as do I. All food is freshly prepared and homemade. The staff is thorough, gracious, and all around delightful. The Breakfast Club is Not instant food and does require patience as preparation X can be longer than a typical franchise restaurant. It is worth the wait. The stuffed French toast is absolutely to die for. I don't even feel 5 stars is a high enough rating for this place because of its stand alone menu. I have returned over a dozen times. This says a lot because I am very big on variety..
This was a gem we stumbled upon. Great food, lovely people running the place, and a great atmosphere. The BEST hashbrowns I've ever had HANDS DOWN. Highly recommend!
This place is fantastic. Ita owned by a local family and good food is their love language. We eat here as often and we can and I recommend the place to everyone I talk to. Honestly I cant recommend it more highly. Truly a hidden gem
Aimee (I think I spelled it right) made all the difference. She had two large groups of guests which made our food take a little longer than expected. However, she was very accommodating and apologetic which made our visit very pleasant. Their menu is very unique and the food is delicious and they have the best coffee around.
Great food. Homade bread. Very friendly.
Great food, atmosphere, and staff. Best breakfast I have had since leaving California!! You're missing out if you don't give it a try. We plan on becoming regulars going forward.
Fantastic food and great vibes definitely stopping in next time in NY
I Love this place. The food is always good. It may take a little longer waiting because each order is cooked to the individual's preference. The staff is genuinely kind and eager to please.
Everything was absolutely amazing, from the staff to the food. The atmosphere was beautiful greeted with such warm smiles, if you have not visited this little gem you absolutely need to, i promise you won't be disappointed.
Great food but it is not a place to be in a rush. Usually crowded and food made with care. Sweet potato hashbrowns the best
Wonderful atmosphere. Kind staff/owners. AMAZING FOOD!!
Service was very friendly, fast and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the contents of the few things on the menu I didn’t understand. The menu is great, they do so many wonderful dishes with eggs, pancakes and French toast. It was so hard to decide on what to get, when I finally did I was not let down. You gotta try the Peach Maple Frappè. Looking to having the opportunity to check this place out again and try the rest of the menu.
Amazing food, and amazing service! The staff there were friendly and very welcoming. The cinnamon raisin French toast, with cream cheese dressing was excellent! There was also the breakfast stew which I did not take a photo of, I dogged that down my b. Pair it with the hashed yams and it’s 🤌🏽.
We had such a good lunch today. We stopped in for my husband's birthday. He has the meat lover's omelet and I had the pig and fig frittata. We both enjoyed our meals. The home fries were incredible! We also loved the cracked wheat and raisin homemade bread. Yummy! I told the waitress that it was my husband's birthday and the bright out ice cream with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and sprinkles and they sang to him! It was so sweet. It totally made the day feel special. We can't wait to go back to this delightful spot! Thank you for making our special day even more special.
This place was AMAZING ! The minute you walk in they greet you so nicely ! The customer service there is great. It’s such a nice cozy place . Then the food is amazing ! I had the corn beef hash with egg whites and white toast . It was delicious! I also had the strawberry basil latte. Delicious . They are very nice people and they make sure you feel comfortable. I would strongly recommend this place !
I love coming here, seeing the family and the new volunteered staff! I used to volunteer there way before they closed so this review might be biased. But I love the welcoming atmosphere and that everything is homemade. It’s so filling for me and my family we always take food home because the portions are pretty big! Coming here for our family gatherings is great :)
My friends and I were leaving staying at nearby cabins in Summit and we were looking for a breakfast spot before hitting the road home. This place popped on Google and we gave it a try and we were not disappointed. The staff were very helpful, kind, and attentive. Definitely, will be coming back next time. One recommendation I would add is for them to add wifi especially for people out do town and don’t have the right internet provider for the area. Other than that, five stars from me.
Absolute gem! Food is delicious! Amy was attentive and wonderful!
The wait was worth it! Breakfast was delicious! All homemade and fresh ingredients. Many choices not found in other dinners or restaurants. Homemade cinnamon bread, delicious!
Spectacularly inventive menu which tastes even better than it looks. Everything is fresh (homemade bread!) and the portions are huge. The decor is cute and the staff is welcoming. My only disappointment is that I don’t live in the area so I can’t eat here regularly!
OMG possibly the best place you will ever eat or at least the best breakfast place. They are a small town all day breakfast place with a big stomach menu. Anything from Southern to vegan breakfast items. There are items you didn't even think of but won't forget; and none of it is expensive! If you have to drive out of your way, do it!
We love coming here every time we come to Northern Catskills. Food is delicious and homemade. Huge pancakes, never seen anything like it in all our travels. The cinnamon raisins bread is my favorite in French toast, sandwich or just plain. They also make delicious stuffed pancakes. 😋😍

Be prepared to wait for your food, but the wait is worth it! And bring cash (or visit a nearby ATM). But the menu is great & you'll need to come back several times to try all the unique options!
Amazing out of way breakfast place in Jefferson, worth trip there. Huge menu and even more options…Pancake specialists, hash variety dish was delicious, egg sandwich substantial. Don’t expect med rare steak for steak and eggs (very thin steak well done).
We were staying nearby for the weekend and wanted to go out for breakfast. We decided to try this place, figuring it would be your average small town diner with decent food. Well, it was some of the best food we had ever had!! We couldn't stop talking about it! From the homemade bread to the delicious sausage, from the perfectly over medium eggs to the incredible raspberry cream stuffed pancake, everything was amazing! We purchased a couple loaves of bread to take home as well. Everyone was very friendly, and we can't wait until we're in the area again so we can eat there!
TBC (the Breakfast Club) is a great place for unique breakfasts. The staff makes you feel like a member of the family. The foods range from the normal to the unique. They have a whole menu of baked pancakes - they’re very good! They have many unique omelets from standards (like a Denver) to more unique ones (Prosciutto and Feta). Portions are generous and the price is middling (omelets are about $10-$15, pancakes around $12). The food is well worth the price.
It’s such a great warm and friendly breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. Staff is super friendly, food is so delicious and fresh.
Best breakfast ever. Amazingly friendly staff. Almost everything is home made, from the raspberry jam to the large selection of breads, breakfast sausage, sauces and gravies. Omelets were stuffed and home fries (tbc fries) plentiful. The menu has something for everyone. Huge pancakes as well. Try it, you'll be happy you did.
Mom and I stumbled upon this place after a mid morning appointment. I'm so glad we stopped here. The service was super friendly, and quick. The food was excellent. My goodness. The pancake was bigger than the plate. Mom and I are definitely coming back... The sweetest little girl leaha was there while her mom was working she was so friendly She even brought her grandmother over to say hi to us made us feel like family.

Love the home made everything. Great place to stop when "just out for a ride".
The food was good. The biggest downside was cash only.
Food was great when we finally got it, they messed up my parties order twice (one didn't get her food until we were finished with ours) so we had to stay and wait. We spent most of the time with empty drinks.
First thing to note, this place is cash only. There is one sign behind a mesh screen on the front door that says "We currently cannot process "CREDIT CARDS", with credit cards big and bolded. The sign needs to be more visible and explicit state cash only with "cash only" in bold. The servers were extremely kind and welcoming. Right away, they asked for extra patience as there were only two servers in. To be honest, this should have been a red flag because they were not that busy. We were on 2 top, and there were two 4 tops, and an 8 top. In my opinion this should be manageable between two servers. We started with a hot chocolate and a coffee. The hot chocolate and whipped cream was pretty good. Was just not very hot, and a little too sweet for my taste. Still good though. It improved when I stole some of my date's coffee and mixed it in. Although the coffee on its own was not very good. Did not improve with cream or sugar. I ordered a corn pancake with jalapeños, a rye pancake, and a side of bacon. My date ordered french toast sticks. About 30 minutes after ordering, another server came and let me know they were out of corn and if maple walnut was ok. I said that was fine, completely forgetting that the corn one I ordered with jalapeños. After ANOTHER 30 minutes the food finally came out. Nearly an hour wait for pancakes and French toast. We considered paying for our drinks and leaving a few times before deciding to wait it out. The rye pancake was delicious. If I remembered the corn mixup, I would have put the jalapeños in the rye instead. The maple walnut with jalapeños was... interesting. Sweet & spicy can definitely work but it would have been better if the jalapeños were fresh and not pickled, which was not specified on the menu. The menu just said flamethrower pancakes with jalapeños, and in my opinion, if its not specified, that means fresh. The side of bacon was very good. Perfect crisp; not too dry, not too flimsy. Seemed like good quality bacon. The french toast sticks was literally just regular french toast cut up into strips. This resulted in a center that was too custardy/slightly raw. To me, french toast sticks implies cut up sometime before cooking to get browning on all sides. The food would go up to 4 stars if it didn't take the chefs an hour to cook a basic breakfast. Lastly, it is worth mentioning that this place was freezing. Couldn't take my jacket off for the almost 2 hours we were there. This is where it is losing most of the stars for atmosphere. The slightly dated yet still cute decor was a misleading good first impression. I'm not from the area, but wouldn't be against giving this place another chance. Other than the pancakes, I also had my eye on the pig and fig fritatta.

Very long wait for food about an hour. Food average at best. Over salted home fries. Very bland omelettes.
Unfortunately the corned beef hash and the tbc fries tasted burnt. Have enjoyed meals in the past but this was more disappointing. I recommend they pair down the menu-it’s way too overwhelming
Already posted this in yelp but my downright unacceptable experience made me decide to post on google too.... I guess the food might be good. I wouldn’t know- never got to taste any of it bc the workers here are outright racist and basically ignored me and my boyfriend because we’re Asian. After driving four exhausting hours from 7:30am to visit someone in the area we decided to stop by TBC for lunch. When we walked in, we stood and waited basically 10 minutes. No one gave us directions or bothered to tell us to sit anywhere. We had to walk to a lady all the way in the back where she looked around and said “oh just grab a table where you can find one” Fine- We decided to grab a seat at the only table that still had a setting in the corner of the restaurant. We sat there for basically 15-20 minutes. The waiter- some man probably in his 20s just kept serving the table next to us. Never once bothering to get us some water. Or just quickly getting our order so the kitchen can get started. Or even acknowledging us and telling us he’ll be there in a sec. Just kept walking to the table next to us and getting their food, checking if it’s ok, getting them condiments. Once he was done with them, just walked back to the kitchen. Even the woman who knew we sat down didn’t stop by. Just passed our table and went to serve someone sitting behind us. At this point I was furious but after driving for four hours and starving I had no energy to yell and tell them off. Just decided to leave. Long story short- don’t be fooled by their cute menu filled with family love- they won’t serve you unless you look like everyone else in town.
The breakfast here is great. Friendly, family owned place. 4 years since I have to edit my 5 star review. Very disappointing, first vist since the reopening. Portions were less, selection was less, service was less, taste was less, price was more. Sad times. Hope it gets better.
were here with family and syrup for pancakes was not tasty! I ordered steak and instead of expected steak at least 1 inch thick they brought meat without exaggeration like 3 sheets of paper thick it's funny how can you call thin almost transparent cutlet it was delicious but come on don't mislead people with the phrase "steak") it's a deception in the menu! everything else was ok
