I’ve been to this little ramen spot a bunch of times now, and I absolutely love it. It’s one of those places you just keep coming back to because it’s that good. The ramen is consistently amazing — the broth is rich and full of flavor, the noodles are perfectly chewy, and the toppings are super fresh. It’s a small, cozy place with a really chill vibe, and the people who work there are always so friendly. Honestly, it’s become one of my go-to spots. If you love authentic ramen, you have to check it out. P.S. — They have the best shoyu ramen and karaage. Seriously, don’t miss it.

This place might actually beat my favorite ramen place in Houston (Tamashi on Holcombe). It has a great umami flavor (not just salty) that you can't find anywhere else in Houston. Very authentic flavors and toppings!! It is a bit pricey, but not too bad. Will definitely return. In response to the person who said this place will do better in Japan, you're absolutely right. This place isn't a "typical American Ramen" place.

Update: The best tonkotsu in Katy, hands down! We had karaage, shoyu, and tonkotsu ramen. It was fresh and tasty! Very good noodles, tender chashu and perfect ajitama. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service was very friendly!

I came in skeptical and now I’m walking out a total wreck! Lol 😂 this place wrecked me, In a good way of course. I love, love, love it, and I’ll be coming back atleast once every two weeks. In my opinion, this place is “better than Jinya.” Yes, I said that!

Finally! A ramen place where I don't have to worry about my affecting my sodium intake! Most ramen places I've tried in Katy are way too salty. 3 little pigs ramen Tonkotsu broth was tasty, flavorful and had perfect amount of salt! I actually finished the broth. I paired it with hhin white noodles as the menu recommended and it was perfectly al dente. Overall a great eating experience and the chili paste was super hot and perfect complement to the broth! Definitely will come again, maybe tomorrow!

Tried ramen in Houston first time at 3 Little Pigs and it surprised me that we can choose broth, noodles, and toppings. Very delicious and authentic. Sure to be back.

With all the restaurants in Katy’s Asian town, 3 Little Pigs Ramen is a must try! Inside the restaurant is really cute - I love the booths and anime mural. The food comes out at a reasonable time, is plated nicely, and the service is great. The bowls start at $6 and I love that you’re able to completely customize your perfect ramen bowl. The portions are also very generous! The broth is flavorful, chashu is tender & thick, and thick noodles are chewy. I would also recommend the skewers & takoyaki!

Always my favorite ramen spot. The service is wonderful! They’re so friendly and welcoming. You can build your own ramen and that’s an option that no ramen restaurant provides. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Great tasting ramen. Tempura Shrimp Appetizer is delicious. Love the ambiance. Great customer service. Definitely a 5 star ramen! Fun way to choose your toppings too.

Cute spot! Love that you customize your ramen with the exact toppings you want. Choose your type of noodle, broth, protein, vegetables, etc. Pork belly was delicious and the broth was smooth.

Amazing! The atmosphere was great and it’s quite small inside very personal. If you like anime you get to hear soundtracks and openings while eating great ramen and other items! Very nicu Cesar Chan!

new Ramen restaurant that just opened, went during Lunar/Valentines day weekend which was great because they were having a promotion so going on especially nice gesture of passing out lucky red envelope 🧧 you can customize your own Ramen bowl which was great, I think they are all still considered under soft opening, so we look forward to more items on the menu!

First Ramen place that I have enjoyed the Shoyu broth. The menu allows you to build and customize your ramen bowl. Music and decor makes you feel like your in the opening or closing credits of an anime. Great service!

It was my first visit, and I will definitely be back. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious. I felt that the price was very reasonable for the generous portion given. I highly recommend this for a low frills ramen place.

A Hidden Gem in Katy Asian Town If you’re craving authentic Japanese ramen, this spot is a must-visit. Cozy vibes, warm lighting, and the rich aroma of simmering broth make it feel like a little escape. Portions are generous, and they even let you split a bowl, perfect for sharing and budget-friendly. The Miso broth was my favorite—ultra creamy and full of depth. They also offer topping recommendations for each broth, making it easy to customize your bowl. Their chili paste is a game changer—spicy, flavorful, and served on the side so you can control the heat (or share without sacrificing flavor). The menu also features a variety of appetizers, from crispy tempura and takoyaki to flavorful skewers. And the decor? Think anime walls and cozy aesthetics, making it an awesome spot to check in. Service is fast, welcoming, and super attentive—the staff will even walk you through the menu if needed. Whether you’re a ramen lover or an anime fan, this little spot is 100% worth a visit!

This place was the absolute cutest for anime lovers! The venue is quite small. There is a bar style seating along the mural wall, complete with some of your favorite anime characters, a communal table in the center along with booths to the right. The food was so good! We got one of every bowl available in our group and made sure to try them all. We got all bowls with the recommended toppings and had tempura and takoyaki for appetizers. The line was quite long and we waited for well over an hour but if you have the time give them a try!

Great spot! The booths they have are nice, so you can bring your hot date here and get real snuggly with them. (Dont be scared, share the same bench) They have a great community table in the center so you can bring a good amount of people. They also have the solo bar side for you loners, that way you can enjoy the solitude. Service was quick, and we came during lunch time and sat down right away.

We attempted to try this place out yesterday but it was a long wait list, I was wondering why and found out it was because of a viral tiktok. We were intrigued and decided to come early when they opened and all I can say it wow! The tonkatsu with mayu is seriously the way to go! The broth was rich and tasted homemade, the pork chashu was sooo tender, the egg I usually don’t care for but I was shocked at how flavorful it was. The Shrimp tempura was also a great starter for us the veggies on the side were really yummy too. The melon ramune float was very sweet but I expect nothing less. Overall this place is in my top 3 favorite ramen spots in the Katy/Houston area.

I didn’t know when I walked in that it had just recently opened and was being swamped because of a Tik Tok video. We had a short wait and then we slipped into a nicely situated booth in a small dining room. The menu is a bit small but they just opened so I am sure it will increase with time. We all had the same ramen with the menu recommendations. One thing that they definitely need is a drink machine. Appetizers- Takoyaki. 8/10 The octopus balls were really good, I could of ate them all night. Entrees - Tonkotsu. 6/10 Rich and milky pork broth with Chashu, ajitama, green onion, kikurage, narutomaki, and nori. Added an extra egg, The broth was good, just needed a bit more flavor. Just needs a bit of improvement overall. The place is decent, not the best, but will do if you are in the area and have to have ramen.

Very good place to eat! Sadly when we got there they only had limited items and were out of half of the things on their menu. I will definitely go back when it is not as full! We did have to wait in line for about an hour but over all they were all very nice 😊

A fantastic Ramen spot! I’ve been told it is very authentic ramen by people who have visited Japan! The ramen is not overly rich or fatty yet it is still full of flavor! The chicken karage has nice large pieces of chicken and it’s crispy but not greasy. That’s kind of the theme with this spot good flavor without being super heavy. Atmosphere is simply but effective and the booths are nice and cozy. Overall a great spot

This ramen spot has great ambiance. The ramen was very flavorful I did the create your own and it was delicious. The appetizers were okay I tried the chicken skin and it had no flavor. I wish they would season it before frying. We ordered a chicken and a pork ramen and both tasted amazingly. I would definitely visit this location again.

Good place not great. I think it would be a really good lunch spot. The broth was a little Bland but the pork is massive. The chicken karage was crispy and good portion but needed more seasoning

I’d like to add that when we first went in,Saturday night, Anne was our server and it took a little bit of time for our order to be checked out, not blaming her since she was the only one checking people in and also serving the food, adding another server would be best for taking less time on ordering and also on waiting for the food to be served as well, she was the only one there that served and took our orders, overall she was very nice and helpful. Food wise I would say if you know what you want and know how to mix things up well as putting the ingredients together you’re very well up to try it on your own and if you’re just brand new into it, I would say to base off of the recommendations that they got for the broth and the the noodles, their takoyaki is the best. The atmosphere feels like the place itself is divided into three different things, the wood seating isle, middle isle and the facing to the wall side idle, I’d recommend two seating isles it could be best if they had the same thing from the right side which is the wood seating face to face seats to have that as well to the other side of the wall just so that it’s not a lot of difference there and leave the middle isle as it is just so it’s also a very interesting and it’s a very good way to see as u enter.

Ah, ramen... How much I love you. This is a very cute, small place, and there's only a few options to choose from. I got the takoyaki and it was so delicious. The ramen was pretty great as well, and we got a ramune float which was something that I've never seen before. I do which there were more things to choose from, but all the things I ordered were really good. I don't remember the waitress that we had, but I think she was new because the service was kind of lacking. But she was really sweet, so we didn't fault her for that. We'll definitely come again some day!

Located at Katy Asiantown, you will not see the restaurant's name in English but the sign with 3 little pink pigs and its name in Japanese. My son and I walked on a weekday after 11am. We sat at a booth. The decor of anime drawings was cute and the place was cozy. There was a group of ladies (about 6 of them) who sat in the middle. Their conversation was loud and echoed throughout the place and this was the only annoyance about the restaurant that I have to put up with. It had high ceiling which was hollow (looked like metal beams) that doesn't suite well when the place gets crowded and noisy. The menu was very limited so we ordered: Appetizers: **Takoyaki - octopus balls, bite size, comes in 6, not bad but would like more pieces of octopus **kushikatsu (pork belly skewers) - over cooked and dry (remove half star) Noodles: You will have to build your own noodles. Starting at $5 you get the broth and add $1.50 for your choice of noodles. The toppings including hot sauce are extra so be careful on piling the toppings you like. I chose the Spicy Tonkotsu and their recommendations from the menu i.e. green onions, kikurage (wood ear mushrooms), narutomaki (fish cake), nori (seaweed) and chili paste. Recommendation also mentioned seasoned egg but waitress left it out from the order. I cannot believe green onions and chili paste are extra costs...shame shame on them... remove one star. However the flavors were there and it was tasty. Be warn with the chili paste...a little goes a long way! My son chose the shoyu ramen bowl which is soy sauce broth along with seasoned egg, grilled chicken, bamboo shoot, garlic oil, butter. The broth was light and refreshing. This was the first shoyu that actually tasted good as others lack the depth of flavor. Overall the ramen serving was a decent size and delicious. The server was nice and was the only one on the floor handling everything. I may come back when I want a more authentic bowl of ramen but rather go elsewhere for my money worths. 3.5 stars but rounded up to 4 star for this review.

It’s a cute little ramen shop and you get to build your own ramen. I got the tonkotsu soup base with the recommended toppings and the yellow thin noodles. The noodles were bouncy and good. The soup wasn’t to my liking. The toppings were good and they gave a lot of it. I also got the takoyaki and it wasn’t as crispy on the outside as I would have liked but overall the experience was pretty good.

This is a build-your-own type of place. You start with choosing your broth (four to choose from), and then you the type of noodles you want. They have three types of noodles. 1. Thin white noodles 2. Thin yellow noodles 3. Thick yellow noodles Afterwards, you choose the add-ons. I selected spinach, spicy bean sprouts, onions, and chili paste. Overall, the taste was okay. I've had more flavorful, but overall it was still good. I ordered the mix and match fizzy, but it was too sweet in my opinion. The drink was over-priced in my opinion, and I wouldn't order it again. I would go back occasionally to this place.

The food here is delicious, unfortunately the service needs help. We asked for a specific table and our request was ignored and we were seated near the door. It was chilly and windy therefore every time the door opened we felt the breeze. I asked for water and a soda and was only brought a soda, we didn’t get napkins, and we had to repeatedly get up to ask for utensils we should’ve been given. It’s a small place, I’d advise you don’t bring your whole family.

It pains me to leave a mid-review but I feel like I was misled with such high ratings. The broth was pretty bland for me and the others at the table. Service was ok, but that might be because it was a slow evening? Probably won’t be coming back to this spot 😔

My second time coming figured I'd give it another try, but Pretty average ramen ,it wasn't bad but just left me craving more, definitely had way better in Houston. Seemed to lack a bit of flavor , we tried both the tonkotsu and miso, the chashu was pretty good and the seasoned eggs smacked. The noodles were pretty good too. Also I know some of us like our food with a bit of spice so I always order chili oil ,but they only had chili paste like if it was a Jaime Oliver kitchen, Uncle Roger would be so disappointed. The thing about the chili paste is that it basically was sriracha and it did not blend well at all. I can honestly say 3/5 rating is pretty good , check the place out for a quick ramen fix. Oh and try the karaage that was pretty tasty.

The ramen was decent but the broth was a bit bland. The restaurant was incredibly understaffed for a Saturday night. There was only one server! We entered the restaurant, sat down in a booth, and after about 5+ minutes I had to go up to the register to get menus. After another 10-15 minutes the server finally came over to take our order. Drinks took another 5 minutes or so. The atmosphere score was dinged because the paint on the wall in the booth was peeling or damaged. The server was nice but the volume of business in the restaurant was way too much for 1 person to handle.

The food was amazing, the environment is quiet but friendly. Only thing was we had to wait for over half an hour for our food. We had gotten there before a family of 5 and a couple but got served after and even had to ask for our food. Other than that, the food was great. Might be a while but we'll be back.

Got tempura, chicken skin, and takoyaki for apps, the ramune float, the miso ramen, and the shoyu ramen. Really enjoyed the appetizers but I thought the broths were really bland and didn't appreciate chili sauce and all the usual sauces being extra. The concept of the ramen is good with the broth being around $6.50 and all the toppings being additional charges, however it adds up quickly

Sorry to say I won’t be coming back. I loved the anime wall, all the best were on there!!!! But unfortunately it isn’t enough for me to come back. The menu can be a little confusing and quite frankly it is too expensive. All the add ons are extra and why not just include them in with the broth? Had the octopus appetizer and it wasn’t very good. The sauce on top of them was better than the inside of the actual octopus balls. The tonkotsu ramen broth was flavorful and noddles were cooked well. It was overall okay. But it wasn’t amazing. Overall I spent almost 20 dollars for the recommended ramen and a drink. I didn’t even purchase the octopus balls a friend did. Seriously not worth the price.

Ambience is chill and cute - Food was okay - honorable mentions at the end - drinks were delicious and you can combo - appetizers: chicken heart is good, fried pork belly is interesting and good, fried chicken skin is also interesting and good - tonkatsu ramen was ok, doesn’t have that deep broth taste - noodle/meat ratio was good - eggs were mad delicious and soft - the pork belly was ok, wasn’t really soft soft - miso ramen - broth was lacking flavor and not as rich - ground pork meat was lacking in volume so the ratio was ok Honorable mention: the bamboo shoots was the best - really surprised me and has a nice seasoned taste.

Came in expecting much better out of the ramen but sadly was disappointed. Ordered the tonkotsu ramen with the recommended toppings and was probably the most bland ramen I've had. I've made much better ramen myself at home which says it alot since I'd hardly consider myself a great cook lol. Also ordered the Karage appetizer which was fresh and hot so certainly a plus on that end but also have had better elsewhere.

Rating: 4.5/10 I really wanted to like this place, but honestly, it did not live up to the hype. • Takoyaki: It was just okay. Not bad, but nothing to rave about either. Given how the rest of the meal went, I guess “okay” is a win. • Munchie Kraken: Probably the best thing on the menu, but let’s be real—$7.50 for this? No way. This is a $5.50 dish at best. • Ramen: This is where things really fell apart. For the price, the quality just isn’t there. The broth is way too plain. Ramen isn’t just about the noodles—it’s about creating the perfect balance of flavors, and that was completely missing. The idea of customizing your bowl is fine, but when the base is this bland, what’s the point? Extras: Charging $1.50 for spicy paste is borderline ridiculous, especially when it’s just basic Chinese spicy paste that you can grab at Hmart 0.2 miles away for way less. The 4.5 points I’m giving are purely for the water, the one staff member running the show alone (respect to them), and the decent atmosphere. The owner seriously needs to pay attention to these reviews because this place needs improvement.

Cute little restaurant. The soup was good but it's definitely not worth $18. I had the Tonkotsu with pork, thin noodles, green onion and egg. The service was terrible. Upon arriving I was told to have a seat anywhere and a young guy brought me a menu. Didn't ask if I'd like something to drink and went to help another table which is fine but then proceeded to bus a table instead of coming back to see what I'd like. It's not like they were busy and needing the table cleared yet, there was only myself and another table. I almost left but decided to wait. He never checked on me during the meal and was sitting by the register on his phone the entire time. Probably won't return as customer service doesn't seem to be a part of this company's values.

It used to be my go to spot until it became hard to predict what time they’re open, nobody answers the phone. By 9:20 they stop taking order on a Friday when their business hours state they close at 10p. Drove 45 minutes just to be turned around in less than 20 seconds.

Y’all know when an establishment is good and the food is tasty and service was helpful and great we can’t say enough of a place. This is not one of that sort of posts. It would help diners who have visited this place to check their banking activity, and those who are thinking abt giving this place a go - think twice before you dine here and please take a moment to read our story. Yesterday 07/27 afternoon, a group of high school students went to 3 Little Pigs Ramen in Asian town for lunch. Party of 6. We all know that tables of 6 or more 18% gratuity is applied without hesistation. In fact, one of those students alerted the group that 18% gratuity was in effect for parties of 6 or more. We get that. We honor that. Our student was one of them. Server L. served this table. Menus were placed at one end. Not handed out. Minimal service performed. Ramen was very basic, broth had no depth or flavor AND the ramen items pricey [Kizuki Ramen round the corner( which has outstanding service and food) ]plus none of this cheeky addition on their CHOWBUS smart tablets. Here’s where the next issue occurred. Our table split up the checks respectively. Because the first friend had a Ramune along with their ramen orders that added some “ complications” on the tablet .. our student volunteered to pay first. She never left the tablet.. she indicated in the tablet for the 18% gratuity BUT typed NO TIP to additional tip. She signed for it. Took it in faith all was good till our student got home checked the receipt with online banking and found 3 Little Pigs added the additional tip on on the check. In fact, additional tip was addded on all 3 checks. Server L. claimed he was the one who served their table last night. We even asked to see the manager today but Server L. insisted he could take care of things when we mentioned we want to dispute the extra tiip which our student indicated NO TIP to. Server L. said he will provide manager’s name and contact afterwards. He also mentioned he only works part time at this location. Server L was adamant what he did last night, meanwhile my student out of the goodness of heart refrained from calling this server out for blatant lies. He printed out our entire table’s separate receipts and handed them to us. I requested for the additional tip to be refunded and server L. asked us what we wanted to do… our response was “just refund what he felt is right for the grievance caused”. He refunded a few cents more than the added tip our student gave .. lo and behold! He refunded to someone else’s credit card .. good thing! we did not travel far before we realized his mistake; we turned the car around and went right back to 3 Little Pigs Ramen and address this FOOLISH mistake. 🚩No apology while he tended to the refund once more this time to our credit card for the exact amount of the additional tip. The photo you see is the heading for the receipt paper of 3 Little Pigs- the phone number listed - IT IS NOT THEIR PHONE NUMBER!!! THEY DON’T HAVE ONE as server L. explained it was the former business’ phone number. So if you have complains etc , it’ll be frustration for the customer. Another Red Flag 🚩! Unprofessional and not together kind of business. Going back to the three separate receipts of our table, server L. got his gratuity x 3 plus an additional $20 from additional tipping … he made approx $40-$45 from one table yesterday for subpar service( hardly doing much), bland food. Dishonest tipping practice. This is not even a 1-2 Michelin ⭐️ restaurant. Just a small place. He provided the manager/owner’s number which he insisted during our visit today that he would call the manager first before we did. It’s all very suss, yall! I called twice and left one text message to return my call. See pic! The business owner or manager’s response. No call back! It’s been about 5 hours since that text response from her. 🚩 Soft dim lighting gives this place a shy of 2 stars for atmosphere. We will never support a business which is fairly new and have such unsavory practice.
