Got the combo fried rice on 12/27, around 7pm, and I was immediately (and simultaneously) purging from both ends and sweating profusely by 10p. Shoutout to activated charcoal, it is now 5am and I feel better. I only ate a little more than a quarter of the container and I’m throwing the remainder out. It was my first time and I asked how the food was, the cashier was short until I elaborated the same.

I should have known that this was catered more towards non-Asians. Located right next to a Starbucks this restaurant is hardly noticeable. The interior was clean and the service was great, but the food was just not it for me. The sweet and sour pork reminded me of eating funnel cakes as the batter was overwhelming and the oil was oozing out in every bite. The sauce was rather runnier than what I’m used to from other Authentic Chinese restaurants. The flat rice beef noodles was rather saltier than I would like and therefore lacking balance of the flavor I enjoyed from other Chinese restaurants. I definitely wouldn’t come back because the food is not to my liking. Maybe you guys will enjoy other stuff from there menu, so don’t let me discourage you from trying. I just wanted to let others people with similar tastebuds know, before stopping by and trying.

They changed owner. Now the male owner is not that good in service, not friendly and food quality has been lacking. There used to be two ladies or a lady owner worked there and they are great. Now the new owner took over and the service and quality are not the same. The hot & sour soup they no longer put green onions on top and the taste is not as good as before. The steam rice and fried rice they use extremely low quality rice and it is so dry. If you do business like this you will loose all your loyal customers.

Really good food not the first time i came here. But this time the lady at front was very rude i was in a table waiting for my food and when was ready she leave it in the table next to me without saying nothing.. that was super rude i pay for that food it wasnt free . Not coming back while she is working there

Been going to Green Garden off and on for over 10 years. Today I noticed new people in the restaurant and no one eating lunch there (despite being around 11:30). They tried to charge me $2.00 just for hot chili sauce which they used to give for free. Also, the food was also very bland. I'm done going to this place.

My order was completely messed up. I specifically ordered hot and sour soup but wonton was given to me. Also, the food is FAKE Chinese food (Americanized). Go instead Taste of China or Spicy House here in Katy

I ordered green garden at least once a month and this last time the food was awful. Egg rolls tasted like frozen trash, the chicken and the beef extremely chewy with no flavor and the wonton soup and hot sour soup tasted old. I don’t know if they have no ownership or if the quality is slipping, but I would recommend finding a new spot. We started going to Chang’s down the street.

New ownership that is using the prior owners menu, but not honoring anything the menu says. They are too cheap to sell the combos shown, so they say their system isn't working so you must pay for every item ala carte.In addition, they are even too cheap to offer Sweet N Low for your tea.

The waiter was so rude and he got my order incorrect and he was about to charge us for the food that he did not give us and wene i say us it was my mom my grandma and my two brothers and some people, and the waiter was talking back to my mom that wene see order here food that see did not tell him that see wanted a larg soup.

I’ve been going to green garden for the past 5 years and unfortunately today there was some sort of metal wiring in our szhecuan beef. Highly disappointed in this.

If I could give zero stars I would. I wanted to try this place out ordered the schzwan beef. I’ve had it plentyof times this tastes like they dumped ketchup in this! That’s all you could taste was ketchup. Hoping I don’t get sick! I’ll never ever order again! Absolute trash!!

RESTROOM VERY DIRTY!! Can you imagine the kitchen. Last time I come. Ladies don't clean even the restaurant floor. I will put no star, but did not give me another option . Needs new management!!! Or new owner,

Disappointed! Place was not busy at ALL!! Only 1 table was in use but left after 5 minute of me ordering. I just went in for an order of spring rolls (2pc). While I waited 2 other couples came in. (2tables now being served) Waited & waited, after 15 minutes I asked how much longer it would be the lady said “should be soon, spring roll take long because they hard to make” like WTH!!!! Literally took 25 minutes for them to be ready and out and then they were WARMMM! Can’t believe the 2 couple that arrived after me were served their whole meal before my order of SPRING ROLLS.
