It was our first time to eat here last night and everything was amazing. Marissa took our order, we mentioned it was our first time and she walked us through our seafood boil order. We had 2lbs of crawfish and 2lbs of shrimp and added potatoes and corn. Everything was very tasty! You should have the lemon butter dip as it’s way better dipping it. We also ordered the char grilled oysters and it’s the best so far from all the oysters we had here in Katy. Marissa went way above and beyond. She checked up on us while we were eating and took our additional order so it saved us from going at the front. She even gave us bread pudding to try. She made our night extra wonderful! We’ll definitely be back!

The cat fish platter was so good I didn’t want to stop eating it. The sauce on it was amazing, and the New Orleans oysters were on point. 👌 My girlfriend had the gumbo and said it was amazing! Was worth paying the price and have no complaints! Thank you for a fantastic meal!

I’m not a big Cajun food guy cause I don’t eat shrimp,crawfish etc (I know, I know, what’s wrong with me?!? 🤣) but their chicken is always juicy and seasoned just right. The veggies always taste fresh, the rice is good and the bread is just like I like, big, just the right amount of crunch and buttery.

We visited here for lunch on Monday. I had the Orleans Combination of Shrimp Étouffée, white Rice and Fried Shrimp. The Fried Shrimp was pretty good but the Shrimp Étouffée was too peppery so I couldn’t enjoy it. I also ordered the Red Beans and rice which I also did not care for and gave it to our Son. My Hubby had the Salmon New Orleans with the Salmon done medium well with a crawfish and Pico de gallo on top finished in a lemon garlic butter sauce. His sides were Dirty Rice and Green Beans. He said all of his food was good. Our Son had a large order of the Shrimp Étouffée with white rice and garlic bread. He said he really liked it even though it was super spicy. I gave him mine since I couldn’t eat it due to the overwhelming spices. We also ordered the Choclate Mousse Cake and the Pecan Pie which were both excellent. We all had lemonade to drink which was also very good. We will certainly return again when we come to Katy next time and will try other dishes. We would definitely recommend you try this place. Large food portions, large selection of food choices, great customer service and very clean restaurant.

Everything was delicious except the boudain eggrolls. They had potential but lacked flavor, or maybe the flavor combination didn't flow together. The potion size for our order was perfect, with plenty left over. The environment and seating were nice with a smooth flow for the lunch rush. It's definitely on my list of places to return to when I'm in town.

First time here. Not a very sea food person but have to admit, I can see why is a known place. The service was outstanding. Will go back after trying some other places in the area so I can have something to compare it to.

Good, flavorful Cajun food with solid portions and reasonable prices. The service was friendly and helpful with a good allergy and the atmosphere is comfortable with some nice decorative touches. The menu is extensive and the dishes we tried were very good.

Second time coming, but first time leaving a review... food was great, but portion could've been a bit bigger. The service was pretty quick, but kind of straightforward and not as hospitable as I would like. The atmosphere was pretty great, and it wasn't too busy for a Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed the restaurant, and have been surprised by the quality both times as a Louisiana native. Food is pretty well-seasoned, and I've had no complaints so far. 4 out of 5! Great job!

I’ve been here before, but it was just for drinks. So I was excited to try the food this time. The line was a bit long but it moved steadily. I had the New Orleans charbroiled oysters, boudin balls, and the Orleans Combination (crawfish etouffee over dirty rice with two filets of fried catfish on fries). The oysters were solid, but they could have used a little more seasoning or garlic. It left a lot to be desired (I say this because I think only two places I’ve been to have them on point: Drago’s and Felix’s.) I really enjoyed the boudin balls. The Orleans Combination was pretty good. Etouffee was just how I like it. However, the catfish, though fried well, needed a little salt or something. The fries with the dish seemed unnecessary. For the crowd that was there, the food came out fairly quick.

We dropped a pretty penny here but forgot that their food has a "Canjun-spiced" theme. We were in the mood for GOOD seafood, just not SPICY, GOOD seafood. Unfortunately because of this mistake on our part, we did not enjoy the food tonight. We would have been better off going elsewhere that provided the dining experience we were seeking, but we weren't properly dressed for their environment.

Sorry, not impressed. Cheap prices, cheap presentation. The blackened shrimp had no seasoning whatsoever. I asked for butter and got movie theater butter. basically I could have made a better dish at home. Presentation is like the school cafeteria served it. Maybe the drinks are the draw because the food simply ain't it. Service was decent but this is definitely one to skip if you're looking for excitement.

We went once last year because we got a gift card. I was really impressed with the catfish. I'm not a big Seafood person. So I don't eat crawfish or shrimp. This time the fried catfish did not have enough seasoning on. They did not have any more mashed potatoes and gravy. French fries were really salty I know they put seasoning on it. The salad was good. My husband had shrimp po boy which he said was good. Red beans and rice were pretty good. Garlic bread tastes kind of burnt. Sorry. I never complain about restaurants.

I ordered DoorDash from this restaurant a short time ago and I just finished what I could eat of it. I got the seafood platter with red beans. The shrimp are wild and they do not specify that. I hate wild shrimp. I don’t like the taste. Next, the piece of fish tasted like they just dipped it in batter and fried it. No taste or a drop of seasoning, not even salt and pepper. YUCK! The red beans were nowhere near “Orleans” style. There was nothing creamy and soft about those beans. The flavor wasn’t bad but as a Louisiana native, this isn’t close to how we cook our beans. The best thing in this meal was the fried crawfish tails and the jalapeño cornbread. I didn’t even bother to touch the hush puppies. I should have done my research so I’ll blame myself. Not to be funny but reading the reviews and looking at the pictures seeing who most of the customers are, I can see why the food was bland and tasteless. I was expecting so more more. And for the price, the quantity would fill up my fifth grader, not my adult self. Sadly, I won’t be returning. This is not cajun style food at all!

My family and I have been eating here since 2011. The food in the past was very good and always served hot. I came in tonight and placed my to go order, payed for my food and waited. My food came out in a reasonable amount of time. But when I got home, my order was totally screwed up! I was missing a nice portion of my order, no condiments that I specifically asked for, and my food was warm…not hot! You guys are going to have to make this right, or we are done coming to your restaurant.

I did not enjoy my experience. I ordered a takeout order and ended up extremely disappointed with my food. My food did not come with silverware, condiments, napkins or anything other than the food. The garlic bread looks good but does not have any garlic in it, tastes sweet like brioche bread and like an herb seasoning. The catfish also looks good but tastes like it was seasoned in water. The pasta needed some salt and seasoning. The best part of our order was the chicken tenders and shrimp but again there wasn’t any sauce so I didn’t love it. Please do better but I will not be returning.

Food here is good if they have it. When a large portion of your menu uses bread you really should never run out of bread. I'll stay going to the fulshear restaurant. Update... I came back and really wish I hadn't. This is the most pitiful poboy I think I've ever seen. The price is paid for this is trash. The few fries I got are cold. But the gumbo is actually good. Waisted money
