We had delivery so I can’t rate the atmosphere - the food was wonderful, hot and flavorful. The orders were very good sized portions!
We’ve eaten here several times dined in, carried out and delivery and each time the food was very delicious, service was excellent and prices are fair. I am surprised at the rating in the 3.8 range. We really enjoy this restaurant. Highly recommended.
New to the area so we stopped for Chinese and had no preference so we tried this place. Suzie Wong’s did not disappoint us. We got a family sesame chicken with fried rice, spring roll, and an egg drop soup. It was all very delicious for the price we paid.
I had the veggie spring rolls, wonton soup and Singapore rice noodles. Everything was amazing and pricing wasn’t bad ether. The rest of my party all really enjoyed their meals too. Not too oily or overly sweet/msg, just fresh and flavorful. We might have found our new spot. The waitress was very nice and friendly too! Oh and before I forget the dinner portions were huge. We all needed boxes.
The food is very good we have had two dine in’s here and tried four plates. Everything has been top notch very fresh and delicious.
Great tasting food! My chicken Kung Pao was extremely delicious, just the right flavor and not too salty. Also, the shrimp in my husbands Lo Mein were plump and juicy~PERFECTION! The veggies were spot on~fresh, firm and crisp, not soggy or overcooked. Overall, a great experience and I found their prices to be very fair. Side note, I react to food additives like MSG. Added bonus: I don't think they use MSG at this restaurant. My heart races if I consume it, and that did not happen after I was done my meal. We will definitely be returning customers! Thank you, Ms. Wong😉
Stopped by for lunch today after finding it on google maps, turned out to be a gem! The food was hot and fresh, and service was quick. I got a spring roll with General Tso’s chicken, probably the best I’ve had. It’s got a good bit of spice but it’s not overly spicy.. highly recommend.
I really love it here. The Sichuan cuisine and fried rice and noodles are extremely delicious. My family and I all like it very much. The prices are also very reasonable. Everyone is very full. It's very quiet and not noisy. Enjoying the delicious Chinese food.
My favorite is the spring roll. Food is fresh and big size. Recommended

Good flavor, descent size, quiet atmosphere and good service
I've been coming here for years and service and food has always been top notch, I've been to plenty of Asian cuisine restaurants and this one is a gem hidden in plain sight, personal favorite! Love this place! Atmosphere is quiet, food is great and service is fast! Always a pleasant experience!
Love this place! They have the best egg rolls. They always been accommodating to my requests even going out of their way to make me something off menu with ingredients they had to get special. Soo good, Soo comfortable. I'm going around 3x a month!
My family has been eating from here once a week over 2 years now. We love the food. It's fresh, well-cooked, well seasoned and delicious 😋
Love the Hot and Sour soup, Mu Shu dishes with rice instead of pancake, Mu Gu Guy Pan and the kids love the Chicken Fried Rice. I appreciate the efficiency and reliability of this restaurant and the good prices! The owners are nice and also very busy because they seem to handle everything themselves :) I always call them directly and place a to-go order. Thank y’all!

I like the place, I usually order and take it home. Never dine in. In general we like it, service, food taste and and even time to get it ready. My kids love the fried rice. One of my favorites around.
I had a hard time determining how many stars to give Suzie Wong's. Their food alone warrants a 5 star rating, but their phone service is questionable. My mother in law ordered from them on the 19th for a delivery and had no problems. When she tried to order tonight (2/25) for another delivery, the person on the phone told her that the address was more than 10 miles away and would cost $10 for delivery and than hung up. When my MIL called back, the person kept saying the same thing, which we didnt have a problem with, and basically was being very belligerent about it being "far" away, when in actuality it is only 10 miles away from their location. Although the food is absolutely wonderful, we will probably never order from them again because of this.
Small little place, nicevsimple decor. Wide variety of food options and not just limited to Chinese has other pan-Asian choices. Food came out quickly and correct. Prompt and proper customer service. Overall good lunch experience.
Food was good. My husband ordered the General T'soa chicken and fried rice. He said that his was perfect. I ordered the Orange beef. It's good for if you don't have a high tolerance for spicy hot food. For me I wanted more spice. Waitress was very polite and a little shy. To some people they would think her rude, but that isn't the case. Will definitely come here again.
I've had them deliver and I ordered in person for takeout. Both times good. They're really pleasant and food is really good. Only reason not 5 ⭐ is personal preference on taste of my cashew chicken and lunch doesn't include drink for $8.25. I'll probably still come back. Like my cashew chicken a little sweeter but it was very freshly made.

Food and atmosphere were great, but the price was a little crazy. All I ordered was shrimp fried rice and 3 egg rolls and it was $19, $15 for the rice! It’s great if you don’t mind spending that much for something that costs way less to make at home. The food was 10/10 though.
I ordered something and they gave me food that taste nothing like what it shouldve. The food says mild and is so spicy you can’t even enjoy it.
Food is good and service is nice. Very clean compared to many other Chinese restaurants. However the taste is very average. Nothing really wows me in the menu, I have tried it at least 8 times.
Food is good. Not fantastic, but good. I've had the fried rice, general tso chicken and general too shrimp, egg roles, lo mein, and cheese puffs. The shrimp was better than the chicken.
We always order Suzie Wong and last night the sweet and sour chicken was so tuff - couldn’t even eat it and the eggs rolls tasted different - didn’t eat those either. Waste of money. Very upset!

The food is fine but the service is so bad. The lady at the register is always rude. She got mad just because I asked her at what time they close after I noticed the chairs were up (closing 1 hour and half later). I told her you know that indicates you are closing. She said we were just cleaning don’t you understand! What? I stopped purchased food for ~2 years because of the rude actitud and decided to give them a chance today. Done! Lost a customer and all my friends and relatives.
Clearly this is a neighborhood favorite, there was one waitress and tons of to go orders being filled, phones ringing, and people dining in. We had the cashew chicken, singapore noodles, orange beef, fried tofu (which basically had the same sauce as the orange beef), chicken nuggets and fried dough. All of which were very very generous sized portions. I'm not sure why but there was a bitterness to the food, even the chicken nuggets. Maybe it was something coating the to go containers?? The orange beef was clumps of meat with yellow fat and drenched in the type of red chili oil that is on the table of dim sum restaurants. Overall... I wish I had saved my $75 and just cooked some frozen Bibigo food.. because i'm not sure we will even eat the leftovers. The bitter taste was really concerning and the food was heavily salted. (let's be real... there is a difference between salt and seasonings.. it was salty)
I am very disappointed with the communication. My husband placed an order for a regular pineapple fried rice. The lady he spoke to told him it will be ready in 10-15 mins. I arrived to the restaurant 6 mins after the order was placed and I waited 23 minutes before the food was ready. The lady at the restaurant failed to communicate with me to inform me how long the food will take. I had to keep asking when the food will be ready. I was not happy. Other than that the food is ok. She needs to communicate better with her customers.
Sorry but the orange chicken tasted like they ran out of sauce so they smothered our order with just ketchup. Some of the rice was dry and crunchy that included both fried and steamed. My kids liked their order so I give them 2 stars otherwise it would be 1. We went only once and that was enough for me.
I usually order take-out but today I decided to dine in. It seems the quality of the food wasn't as good. I ordered General Tso's (my usual) and the broccoli was cold (like fresh out of refrigerator). I brought it to the attention of the waitress and she said the broccoli is for "decoration." I have eaten this dish many times and there are usually a few broccoli pieces mixed in but this is the first I've heard that they're decorations. My daughter ordered shrimp and vegetables and was dissatisfied with the "slimy" texture of the sauce. There was also too much sauce on the vegetables. This will be our last time eating here.

Food is good and pretty authentic. But homegirl at the cash register/answers the phone is RUDE and not friendly at all. Younger girl in her 30's heavier set with glasses. I have ordered here since 2021 and my order is general TSO chicken has been the same. Exact. She entered my order wrong and gave me sweet and sour. Then tells me I said sweet and sour. WRONG because I don't like my chicken in batter l. Instead of apologizing and saying it was her mistake she blamed me. I went back, brought what they gave me and she gave me complete attitude since I walked in through the door. gave me my order and she was trying skip me out on the broccoli that comes with it Then the nice person that I am said thank you so much. Have a good day. No reply straight ignored me. So because of homegirl at the front desk, I'm probably going to find a new Chinese restaurant because customer service to me is top-notch to me. so please beware for her and make she understands what you are ordering... also slow down in talking because the accent is already hard to understand and going 1000 miles a hour on talking is a little harder to understand.

Walked in, sat down, and left right away after feeling unwelcomed. It seemed like we were bothering the server by deciding to choose their restaurant out of so many options here. There was no type of greeting or friendly smile. I don’t understand how this place even has good reviews.
Bad service, extremely dirty, the food was extremely old and unseasoned. On top of everything the server had a attitude when I asked for a refill.
We are regulars at this place and we always love the dining experience as well and the friendly staffs. During our recent visit we noticed the change of staff and possibly ownership. Food quality has declined noticeably and the new owner - a mid aged skinny Asian male was very very unfriendly. We asked about a questionable charge on our bill and the owner started to yell at our waiter and told us to leave and don't come back. We were just asking about why they charged us white rice when it supposed to come with the meal. We won't spend a cent more at this place. Avoid this place at all cost!!!!
Horrible service and food is mediocre at best. Don’t come here! We have been coming since it opened up a couple of years ago. Their food was good and the two older women that worked there kept the place running well. Recently, it’s been the worst. The main waitress is horrible. She threw our plates on the table. She rolled her eyes when I asked kindly for chopsticks. Then she started disciplining another employee near our table, yelling rather loudly. AVOID THIS PLACE
Today my husband and I experienced the worse services ever…. We had been waiting for an hour for our food and as we were waiting we had noticed that we had got there before a family and two other guys that had walked in, and as we are waiting, I saw that the waiter had brought there food out before our food, so my husband decided to go and ask the waitress that what was the reason our food was taken so long and why did the other people get there food before ours, when we had go there way before they did , the waitress was so rude and said…… I didn’t know how much longer it’s going to take… you can just leave and she walked away. We have been eating at this place for about 3 years and never had experience this before. We will not be returning to this place ever again. Those people are just so rude and unprofessional
Service is terrible. Ordered food for me and my son and didn’t get the order correct. I was asked if I wanted my food spicy but this is beyond hot, pretty much not edible. Got all the way home before finding out. I called to ask them about the order and the lady answering gathered phone continuously argues with me about how I made the mistake. Covid or not there was no one in the restaurant and the order was still incorrect. Would not return to this place... Ling’s down the street is better by far!
Very bland. No flavor. Wonton soup bad. Got the pepper steak and the broccoli chicken and no flavor at all. Not much sauce. Not very welcoming. I will not go there again. Looking for a new Chinese restaurant.
I would give them zero ratings if I could. I made an order online but didn’t know how to complete the online order so I called them and went over the same order I made online only to realize it was more than the total amount I had on my computer , when I asked why instead of explaining politely the lady got angry and hung up on me. I was in shock. But because I had four hungry kids at home and the time it had taken me to come up with all that food combination I had to try getting it through online. I succeeded through a third party partner and after filling in my card details presto! I was glad it went through and I got a confirmation mail. Only to get another mail later that my order had been cancelled. I called the third party and he said I could only order by calling the restaurant and that there was nothing he could do. Imagine that ! Susie Wong’s Chinese restaurant lady had obviously declined the order and I was left with 4 hungry kids. I thought of suing but they aren’t worth it. I just hope I get a full refund ASAP( writing just minutes after the insidence) I think i was treated so because of my African accent. 😭😭😭
I live in Richmond but work in the katy area. I have recommended this place to multiple people because the food is good. I usually pick up food to take home. The person ( female refused to give me her name has very bad customer service skills . I was promised a adjustment and a order of egg rolls for an error on a previous order that was missing items. When. I called to report she hung up on me. This time She refused to honor. I asked for a manager .. she said no manger . Owner she said no owner. I asked for her name she said no name. Was mumbling words during payment. A co worker was laughing in the back ground. I told her she had just lost a customer. She said good I never want to see your face ever again and stormed away. Needless to say I will never come back here. If you make a mistake admitted to it .
I ordered delivery and asked them to knock on the door because the doorbell was broken. The delivery driver called and said it was ready. So I waited and there was no driver or food. Went to the restaurant and the driver said that he left it at the door. I drove back to the house and there was no food. He left to go back to the house and get it. Brought it back from wherever he dropped it off. Didn’t offer anything but that I had given him the wrong address and this was my order. Now I get food from someone else’s house that he left outside and not even an apology, coupon, make the food over, but simply blame me for not knowing my own address. Won’t ever order from there again. Horrible thing is that he was the manager and that is the type of attitude that he has. Horrible service.....
Walked in at 8:45, lady at the register looked up at us and said nothing. I asked if they were still open and she said yeah. Did not get up to seat us or even say you can seat anywhere. Her vibe was very hostile. I felt very unwelcome, I wanted to leave right then. She finally walks over and just says drinks. Not hi how are you nothing. She continues to walk around slamming things through out the restaurant. I looked over to her and asked it she was ok. I had to repeat myself and she just responded with yeah. We will not be returning. Food is just par anyways. From the looks at the other reviews it seems to be an ongoing issue. Maybe she is the reason there were no other customers on a Friday night. She must be family of the owners.
First and last time experiencing this place. I love Chinese food but found nothing tasty about the food I ordered. It was very bland. It also didn't help that the young lady that serviced me was not friendly and had Zero customer service skills.
I am revising my review, new ownership and food went totally down hill. Will not go back. On a side note, the staff was extremely friendly and nice! 7 Months ago stopped going, 6/18/18 TRIED IT AGAIN AND FOOD WAS OK...SERVICE SUCKED!!!
We just ordered lunch to be delivered. 3 entrees and 3 soups. Two of the entrees were wrong and 1 of the soups was wrong. Also, I'm allergic to mushrooms which were in the dish intended for me. My wife called and they basically gave here the old - oh well, sorry. I called back and they suggested we drive up to deliver to them the incorrect food and get our order fixed. When I said absolutely not she told me her delivery driver was busy and couldn't redeliver. She then offered to credit me $8.25. Our two incorrect orders totaled $17.50. When I again said absolutely not, she hung up on me. This restaurant clearly doesn't give a damn about customers and it's a shame this community supports them.
We ordered delivery and the lo mein that we ordered was disgusting. Call the restaurant to let them know and ask that they deliver a different entree and they refused even though I paid for delivery of edible food. Also their fried rice was not fried rice. It looked like they just took steamed rice and added some seasonings but mine had no eggs or green onions in it.
I have never had a worse experience with a brunch. Our group was super excited last friday morning to go to watch the show. It took us forever to get our table and when we finally did the service was horrible. The server was rude and not engaging. We sat down had horrible food that took forever and then later I overheard the manager making fun another table. I am not the person to write a review EVER even when I have bad service but this was inexcusably and needs to be shared. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Worst experience ever! Waitress brought fried wantons to the table that were beyond stale. Ordered off lunch menu that included soup spring roll and entree. Nastiest hot & sour soup I’ve ever had. Soup was lukewarm at best, spring rolls were grease hot to touch, but mushy and cold inside. The Entree (General Tso’s chicken), was like chewing rubber, and very bland. My wife ordered the pepper steak. Steak smelled rotten and had a strange taste to it. Sad to say the best thing about the visit was the steamed rice and our waters. Not to often we push the meal to the side pay and leave. Will not be back anytime soon. Rating doesn’t even deserve one star.
Terrible experience, terrible service too. We went in at 12:30 for lunch. Only three tables had customers. That should’ve told us something right away. We waited 10 minutes while the only waitress took phone call orders, then we got to order drinks but no food. We spent the next 20 minutes literally watching her take phone call order after phone call order after phone call order. We never did get the drink order. Finally we just got up and left after being there almost 30 minutes and got absolutely zero service - totally incompetent management and a totally incompetent waitress. Probably one of the worst dining experiences in my entire 74-year-old life. Avoid it all costs.
My parents have been going here for 3 yrs. We went on Friday and ordered lunch. The main entree came and I ordered cashew chicken. There was a hair on the food in plain sight. The waitress took it off the food and said it was hers. I asked for a new entree, she brought out the same entree within 2 minutes, it was cold. When we were paying the bill she gave us someone else’s bill, we caught the miss charge. No apology for any of the issues. Last time going.
This place is TERRIBLE! Do not waste your time or money. There are plenty of Chinese restaurants around this area that have better food and definitely better customer service. The lady up front running the cash register needs to be fired yesterday. She ignored me when I asked a question (looking at her phone) and after I got my food, she didn’t say thank you, or anything. Still, I decided to say thank you and have a good day and she literally said nothing just kept her face in her phone. When I said that her customer service needs improvement, she got an attitude and could care less. What kind of business treats their customers like this after spending close to $100! She’s been running off customers left and right, for a long time, including me. Read the other reviews and you’ll see it’s the same pattern, and it’s the same woman. I will not give Suzie Wongs another penny of my hard earned money. Trust me when I say, go somewhere else, you’ll thank me.
