Mom got the French onion burger with chips, she really enjoyed it. I got the Ruben with fried and it was great, however the top bread was a little too firm and had to remove portions of it. Ordered IPA and it came in a tiny glass with stem for $8.... Crazy! Staff was friendly, restrooms were great, Overall it was a great time. I'll return to try other foods.

On one visit, my server remembered the rye cocktail I’d enjoyed before and suggested a new Barrel-Aged Manhattan that turned out even better. The Old Fashioned is classic and smooth, and the rotating list of Texas craft beers keeps things interesting. You can sense the pride and passion behind the bar. I had the prime rib and gouda sandwich with fries. It was good and I do recommend this dish. We sat at the bar and had great service. The atmosphere was comfortable making it a relaxing time.

Honestly… everything was AMAZING. From the sweet hostess, to our amazing server Lex, and the food oh my goodness! Fantastic. And the portions are huge we had to both take stuff to go. 10/10 will be back. Lex was so sweet and had great recommendations too! Thank you!!

We had such a great experience at Whiskey Cake (Katy location), and I have to give a special shoutout to Kaitlin for her exceptional service! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She knew the menu inside and out, made fantastic recommendations, and checked in at all the right times without ever being intrusive. You can tell she truly cares about her guests having a great experience. The food quality was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish came out perfectly prepared, and you can really taste the quality ingredients. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Kaitlin made an already amazing meal even better with her professionalism and positive energy. We’ll definitely be back — and we hope to sit in her section again! My friends and I love it! It is our #1 place.. For drinks we go with the guava gimlet or mimosas. We can't miss out on the whiskey cake. If we are to full for dessert we get it to go. Food portions are very well served.

Whiskey Cake did not disappoint! The French onion burger and the fish & chips were phenomenal—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Our waitress, Lex, was beyond helpful, and the manager, Lacy, was more than welcoming. Amazing food and outstanding service. I’d definitely come here more often. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere at the restaurant is wonderful, and the service is top-notch. But the star of the show is the Whiskey Cake! This dessert is absolutely incredible — soft, rich, and perfectly flavored. Every time, I just want more! The portions here are generous. The meat in my salad was tasty, (salad for me - not tasty) but the knife was useless — couldn’t cut it properly. My friends really enjoyed the salmon with mushrooms. Overall, it’s a lovely place, but the dessert deserves a special shout-out. I’ll definitely be coming back!

When here for date night. The food is pretty good and will probably go back in the future. Our server was okay but really didn't check on us. It was a busy Friday night and we were not a big spin table for sure we were on the very low end of the spend that being said I was really impressed but the food quality for what I paid for it.

Nothing super fancy about this place. They have different kinds of whiskey and their cake for dessert is good. I was more impressed with the bacon for the start than eating. The Deviled eggs were French onion and that was super good as well. As far as the meal my husband enjoy the burger and I enjoy the steak salad.

Customer service and ambiance was fantastic, their whisky cake is a must try, very delicious, sandwich was good, fries could've been better, but the ruby drink went well with the meal I had. So overall a good experience for me!

I really liked the atmosphere and set up of this location. The food was well seasoned with good flavors throughout everything we tried. My only complaint was the bun on my burger was way to soft and became terribly mushy whilst eating my burger. Nobody wants that when eating a burger, especially after craving a good one. Other than that our dishes tasted really good.

Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Was able to make a reservation but since it was a weeknight, we were able to get seated right away. Our server Jocelyn greeted us right away with a friendly smile and was attentive throughout. I ordered the Chimichurri steak with truffle fries and my friend ordered the Fish and chips. Steak was really good specially with the Chimichurri sauce. The fries were pretty dry and not a flavor that I would drool over. So considering the price $33 for that small steak with some dry fries didnt really justify it for me. Fish was a bone in and my friend really liked it. Since it was my friend’s birthday, Jocelyn brought in a cake with a birthday sign and candle which was sweet and also wished her. The cake with the sweet cream was just FANTASTIC! Although my tummy did get upset twice right after the food so not sure if it was the main course or the cake! The ambience is pretty nice. Good for a casual date night or some celebration. It would have been wonderful if the cake is comped specially if they know the guest is celebrating an occasion.

Went for Sunday brunch. The waitstaff was absolutely amazing! I was looking forward to brunch here because it’s usually really good. Not this day, my sausage was cold in certain areas so I didn’t want to eat it, I asked for cheese on my eggs and didn’t get that, the breakfast potatoes weren’t as good as usual. Long story short, I didn’t eat anything but the piece of bacon. Very disappointed, I didn’t want to complain because our wait staff was so nice! But I’ve frequented this location and this may just be a sign that the quality of food is declining as it hasn’t always been this way.

I am unsure about my “pork chop”. Look at the photos. It was so salty and looks like processed meat. There was a bone attached to it. Something very strange about it. Strong smokey flavor to it but not the savory taste of pork chop meat. It’s definitely NOT worth $28. I ended up taking half of it home but, only to examine it more closely in good lighting. 😂 it was thrown in the trash where it belongs. My family said their food (burger and chicken sandwich) was good but, not enough to make them want to go back and eat there again.
