Not only do they make FANTASTIC beer, but they also have donated in support of an auction raising funds for a local school in the Monadnock region, helping support an important part of our community. Small businesses and community centers supporting each other - nothing better!
Haven’t been here in a year or two but heard they had bingo and an updated menu so went and checked it out. I had a peanut butter jelly sour and tried a few samples of the other sours they had and got the steak and cheese and some wings with the party I was with, everything was so good! Went back tonight for a buffalo chicken pizza and was so impressed, if you haven’t been in while(or ever) definitely check them out! Great service too!!
Get. The. Detroit. Pizza. My god, it is so incredibly good. Can not recommend this place enough, from their truffle fries, to their beer, and pizza. You cannot go wrong with this place! The icing on the cake was how awesome the staff was.
Had an awesome experience at Branch and Blade! First off, all of the staff were super personable and you could tell how passionate they are about their craft! We actually came by on the first day they were serving their pizza menu and my goodness, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! We got a Detroit style pizza and it was far and away the best pizza I have ever had. Paired with one of their flagship beers, it was the perfect combination. If you’re in the Keene area, this place is well worth the visit!
Great Beer! The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Had some wings and the Buffalo wing sauce that they make in-house was great. There is a large deck to sit outside and enjoy a beverage in the sun.
We booked the pavilion for our wedding welcome party on Labor Day Weekend 2025 and it was so worth it. They gave us top-notch drinks, food and service. This is an excellent venue--spacious enough to fit around 180 people with plenty of area to stretch out and play lawn games . We extended a few hours beyond what we were originally expected because we were having so much fun. Definitely going to make a point of coming back here whenever we're back in the Keene area. Awesome place with awesome people!
Branch and Blade is awesome. I visited for their Munchie Madness festival and it was an amazing time. The beer was incredible and the food hit the spot. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Branch and Blade Brewing in Keene, NH for a handful of pours & different styles. Known mostly for their ridiculous pastry sours that have somehow become even better over the years, but I've always enjoyed most offerings from them especially the stouts. The last time I was here was in late 2021 for my 38th birthday, which was quite the day of excess beer wise, so my brewery journey was hazy to say it lightly. I try to never miss a new B&B sour if I see them out in the wild whether it be in can or on tap, they're truly out of this world & easily my favorite sours in New Hampshire. It had been years since I had been to the actual brewery so I had a lot to try style wise & was definitely looking forward to checking them out again. 🍻🍻🔥 I started off with a pint of the FUTURISM Dark Lager which was great for a more traditional beer from these guys since I haven't had many prior other than a kolsch a few years back. I then grabbed a 10oz pour of the BURNING LOVE: BLUEBERRY COBBLER Pastry Sour which was just thick & layered with all the good flavor. The next beer was a full pour of the DEATH IS HEREDITARY Pastry Stout which was phenomenal for a 10%ABV banger with some fun coconut & vanilla gimmicks that masked any boozy taste. This last pour was my favorite (I was told the keg was almost empty so it was a bit thicker than usual) beer of the trip in the PSYCHEDELIC LOVE: STRAWBERRY/NANNER Pastry Sour that was so thick & delicious it was pretty much a shake, soooo good. I'm sure that my facial expressions while drinking this one disturbed some customers. 🍻🍻🔥🤷♂️ All the seating options here including tables, hightops, patio & bar. The spot wasn't to large & only had a few people when my friends & I got there, but filled up quickly. The bartender was keeping up, but a couple others came out to help & expedite everything when the place filled which was great to see. There was plenty of cans to go & food if you were hungry & needed some easy snackage. Great food, amazing beers, and wonderful staff. The variety of beers is amazing, hard to find in the northeast. And the Mexican-asian fusion food is delicious. Holiday sour with the smash burger with nopales fries is a perfect combo
The new food is amazing. The Birria and Shrimp tacos were mouthwatering. But let's be honest...it's the beer you go for. Because damn...the beer is amazing. I live nearly 2 hours away from Branch & Blade in MA by the RI border. And still I make the trip to BAB as often as I can. They always have a huge selection of beers on tap. Today I tried You're Killing Me Smalls and their collab beer Death is Hereditary. I left with a case of each because I enjoyed them so much. Worth the trip every time!
Check out photos. It’s an odd drive behind some buildings in back. Opens up to a large east access parking lot. Large deck with tables. Huge open venue with own drafts dozens of tables and chairs patio. Open in back behind with disc golf to try. Borrow a disc. Staff east friendly and professional. Limited choice for cans so ask. Inside multiple tables and bathroom. Cherry cinnamon icecream sour - looks like it curdled! It’s delicious- not too sour nor sweet. Concord grape and peanut butter sour. Like a fermented smoothie. It’s so out of this world - and edible would be an option to really understand it. Lemon sour : nachos lemon heads my dads boat. Psychedelic love: strawberry sour. Tasty light easy drinking not too sweet.
This brewery was at the top of our favorite breweries we’ve tried. We tried to go at noon on a Friday but they don’t open until 2, so we went on the way back through town on Sunday. We had 4 people and tried almost every beer they had on tap and there was not a single one that wasn’t delicious. The staff was great too and the outdoor seating was nice
Almost docked a star for the poor service at the bar, but after trying the beer I didn't have the heart to. Not sure how long this brewery has been here, but it definitely holds it's own against some of the better beers I've had in Vermont. The Brown is a must to go along with whichever NEIPA you get. I hope they find a bartender who cares though.
Our son suggested coming here for a bite to eat and an adult beverage. Order at the bar and you’re given a beeper to pick up food a separate window. Awe ordered in the main dining area but after we realized we believe people ordered at the outdoor patio area too and then would go to main dining to pick up food. Either way, we sat in the outdoors enjoyed good tacos, fries and wings too while enjoying g live music. Not sure if I could have asked for salsa but enjoyed them all the same. A large group did show up with kids and it was busy but there was plenty of room it didn’t feel crowded. We will be back and will bring more friends to enjoy too.
Beer was really good! Love that they do 5 or 6 in a flight here. They also have cocktails as well and an extensive food menu. I loved the sours I tried! Very fun and unique flavors here. Also was cool they had live music and had plenty of seating, even for large parties. We were a little bummed they only have the full menu after 3:30pm as it all sounded so good but maybe next time. Great brewery in the Keene area!
Food was okay. The cheesesteak is more expensive than typical and wasn’t really worth it. Some bites were good, but the meat had too much fat/gristle and wasn’t sliced thinly enough, so other bites were unpleasantly chewy. The chicken wings were good and I’d order them again. The skin had a nice amount of crunch. The quesadillas were a little on the dry side and could easily be made better at home.
If you are into sours, they are pretty good. Husband and I love the burning love and mai Thai. Electric froseé is pretty good. Heavy on the peanut butter. The stuffy stout, is frankly kind of disgusting. Leaves this weird milky chalky film on everything. Including your tongue. Customer Service can be better, but we didn’t come here for the bartender we came here for the beer.
This is my opinion it should be taken as such. This place was our favorite of our 3 stops near Keene. The food was spectacular. They have a wide variety of brewskis. They have a cocktail inspired sour which the wife LOVED(2 four pack kinda love) so....happy wife happy life🤣🤣. I would go here again.
I find the staffs to be courteous and they do their best to maintain proper safety and hygiene protocol during Covid season. With that said there is no tasting nor beer flights served. I personally find their beer pricing to be higher than my expectation, I got myself a double fruits (blackberry and raspberry) sour ale 9oz cup for $9+taxes = $9.81 I want to believe they used lotsa fresh fruits in the ale making process and that I'm supporting the local community. The food was delicious and good. I ordered a kids burger with fries and Bourbon steak poutine. The shoe string fries was very crispy and poutine had lotsa chunks of steak and the gravy that came with it was finger licking good.
Honestly first time hear I should had turn back around when I felt the vibe wasn’t there but I still wanted to give it a try the flight was not worth it way too expensive they charge $4 per a beer that’s small and cost me about $30 ridiculous. The beer was watery tasteless didn’t even give me a buzz worse I ever had I shouldn’t had been cringing over every sip I took. Worse place for a beer don’t go save your money.
This review is solely on the beer because the staff was nice and I did not try any food. The beer was expensive, watery, and tasteless. It was definitely not worth the price.
