This is a very nice upscale restaurant in Keene, NH. It is a definitive must for all visitors. I can recommend the grilled asparagus with manchego cream, the smoked duck breast, and the apple pie. These are just to die for. The ambience is fitting for couples and families alike, and you don’t have to be shy bringing your toddler. The bar features a variety of alcoholic AND non-alcoholic drinks, and the bar tender is available to offer his advice. Overall, a great experience for the taste bud and the soul.

What an amazing experience in dining. We did not have a reservation on a Friday night but we’re still able to be seated outside right away. Plan to stay awhile, and order at least one item from each section. We only ordered from three of the five but did order dessert. The food was exceptional, and a great exploration for the taste buds. Service was wonderful and efficient. The water is set in your table and they will fill your glass anytime they stop by. Definitely worth the time to experience the food and service here. The atmosphere is relaxed but refined, with new plates brought out for each portion of the menu. A family style serving or sharing if that’s how you choose to eat.

Absolutely spectacular! It's pricey, but Absolutely worth every penny. Pasta was PERFECT and the fillet melts in your mouth! Can't wait to go back!

Five stars is not enough. The staff at Granita are warm, kind, and attentive. Moe and her team are simply outstanding. The food is just as outstanding - some of the best I've ever had. The cheesecake was amazing. Knowing that the the money I paid for it will go to Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities made it even sweeter. Thank you for making our date night special.

What an incredible experience we had at Granita Enoteca.  We had reservations for Sunday evening so we could have the Family Style Dinner.  We had a great "front row" seat to the kitchen.  So much going on.  So much fun to watch.  We were seated at 7 pm and the restaurant had only the two seats left where we were seated.  We found out later that a large group of guests were there that night for a special wine club dinner.  The restaurant has the most amazing wine selection!  Our server suggested we consider the Family Style Dinner for two for $100.  What a great bargain that was!  We chose these dishes:  The autumn harvest salad; the most delicious focaccia, Ragu alla Bolognese, sea scallops (superb!); risotto and classic tiramisu for dessert!  One of the best meals we've had in a restaurant...ever!  We didn't take many photos.  We were so engaged enjoying our food and watching all the activity!

Had an amazing night here, elegant and beautiful, with a staff that was on top of everything. Their food presentation, textures, complimenting tastes, and aroma makes them the best dinner I have ever had. Wonderful way to spend time with my gorgeous Goddess, definitely will return and soon.

Likely considered the only fine-dining spot in Keene, NH this place is outstanding on all levels. Easy reservation on a Friday date night, service was exceptional from the hostess to the waitress to the pleasant goodbyes when we finally left after a great 2-hour experience. Wine flight, house made focaccia, strawberry salad and the best scallops I’ve ever had (and I’ve had my fair share). The carrot-nage sauce that the scallops came nestled in had me using my wife’s spoon to get every last drop. Strawberry cheesecake to top it all off was the perfect ending. I loved this place when it was Nicola’s and I now love it as Granita’s. Could not recommend more if you’re looking for an elevated meal and experience in Keene.

When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a well decorated and comfortable environment. We were seated promptly and had very attentive and excellent service throughout the evening. As a group, we tried a variety of things on the menu. Very interesting and delicious pairings with and extensive drink menu for folks who like wines, cocktails, or mocktails. The food itself was beautifully presented. For anyone who visits, we have to recommend the scallops and risotto (the saffron in the risotto was perfect!) as an appetizer, the mussel bisque was a great balance of rich broth and briny seafood, and for entrees we would definitely get the fresh pasta again (though if you're looking for something that you thought you could make at home but definitely have never had like this before then the chicken is worth it). If you're stuck about which dessert to get, the panna cotta is a showstopper of flavor and texture. The creaminess of the dessert parked with the crunch and tang of rhubarb was a chef's kiss. If you're looking for a place with great ambience, food, and time then go here!

Filet is tender and juicy and their salad is also great! I didn’t have any desserts because the one most enticing was sold out. I’ll try my luck later. By the way, the waiting staff are super duper friendly!

Absolutely phenomenal! Our server Cora was so friendly and extremely welcoming! Her service made us seriously want to come back even before trying the food. The food it's self was the BEST Italian I've had in YEARS! The anti pasta (charcuterie board) appraiser was so good! I myself got the chicken parmesan which was delicious but my friend got the filet with potatoes and witch forest mushrooms and it was to die for! I was so envious of her meal after she let me try a bite it was incredible! By far the best filet money can buy! She who never ever finishes her food finished the whole plate! For desert we got the cannolis and they are the best I've ever had and I have had many MANY cannolis even from top rated bakeries and these by far made me sad I didn't order more then two! I highly recommend this place but don't make the mistake we did in not dressing up for the occasion as it is a bit of a classier restaurant.

Great restaurant in downtown Keene. All the food and drinks are great. The Caesar salad is particularly good. The scallops were delicious, and you won't go wrong with any of their pasta dishes.

This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in the past year. Coming from the NYC metro area our standards are pretty high. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. The delicious and authentic Italian dishes are crafted from local ingredients. It was elevated dining but very comfortable and relaxed feeling. Looking forward to our next visit!

We have an amazing experience every time we go! The servers are thoughtful and knowledgeable. They have a great assortment of amazing wines and perfectly crafted cocktails. The food is astounding! The desserts are phenomenal.

Exceptional experience here! Everything from granita they served pre-meal to the pastas were spot on. We had the meatballs and flatbread appetizer. Could have just stopped there. Meatballs were very soft and juicy on the inside and perfect on the outside. There was a very nice herbed taste that made my wife keep commenting on them, in addition to the basil. The flatbread was just a scrumptious mix of fig, goat cheese and slightly charred pizza crust. On the menu, it said there was prosciutto, but we didn't taste or see any, but honestly imo prosciutto would have ruined it so we didn't really care! The pastas were also great. The tagliatelle, though boring looking (sauce was simply butter, salt and pepper), was mildly addictive. The pasta noodle itself was really chewy! I had the agnolotti which had a very nice, tangy & buttery sauce. The filling didn't have much taste so that would be my main complaint of the evening. Thank you!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and the staff took great care of us! Food was excellent! The Focaccia bread was amazing!

Dining at Granita Enoteca is not just your average dinner out. Dining at Granita Enoteca is an experience. From the start, you walk into a beautifully designed, open, and airy dining room. You are met with a kind and attentive host, who quickly escorts you to your seat. Within moments, you're asked about your water preference, which is delivered promptly along with a delightful bread board with olives, butter, and a delicious olive oil. Your server is along shortly to take your drink order.. but this is really where the "experience" begins. If you choose wine, they have a sommelier on site to answer questions for servers and patrons alike on their bottle and glass options. There are several options for wine flights. As well as whiskey flights! Which is always a fun option. Prior to our meal, we were served a deliciously refreshing amuse bouche to set our palate for our dinner. We ordered the prawns and polenta for our appetizer - and let me tell you. What a dish that is!! So beautifully balanced, and I genuinely think I could have that dish every day for the rest of my life, and never tire of it! My husband had the Squid Ink Pasta with Braised Octopus and Uni with a Maine Lobster Cream Sauce. It wasn't what we were expecting, which is what made it so fun! I ordered the Filet cooked (perfectly) medium, with the potatoes and mushrooms on the side. Our server was knowledgable, funny, and perfectly attentive. She was very helpful and seemed enthusiastic about the menu - excited to share about the restaurant's focus on local farms and relationships within the area to provide fresh, sustainable ingredients. I could continue to go on and on! Our dinner was just on Friday (3 days ago) and I have already told no less than 40 people about how wonderful our time spent at Granita Enoteca was. I have had beautiful meals all over the world. Granita is likely my new number one, and I cannot believe it's just a short drive from our home. What luck!! My husband and I are already looking forward to getting back there to explore more of the menu. What an amazing jewel this spot is in the heart of the Monadnock Region!

Fantastic meal. This dessert is not done justice by the picture, but was amazing! The bubbly 🍾 wine flight is a must have again. And the filet was perfection made even better with the addition of mushrooms and brussel sprouts.

Dined here in April 2025, a great meal with great service. The focaccia and local butter is delicious, and the bucatini all'amatriciana was the perfect mix of slightly spicy, salty, and really vibrant tomatoey flavor. I don't love steak, but I had to try the 15oz striploin, and it was good, very flavorful. The strawberry cheesecake was also delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The food is excellent and the wait staff help each other. The portion sizes are on the small side. This is a restaurant where you go for good food and the atmosphere. It’s definitely not cheap but it’s worth going to once in a while.

Granita Enoteca is DEFINITELY one of the few best, actually probably the best, restaurants we have enjoyed in our forty-nine years of marriage! Last night was our anniversary and Zoe T was our superlative waitress. Absolutely no complaints, only praise to be offered!

The food made my tastebuds dance, The wine was superb. The ambiance in Granite Enoteca was high class beauty! Unique in every way! Our server was fantastic! She explained what some of the dishes were and guided us with the wine choice. She made sure we were happy with our choices. Eating at Granita Enoteca was a new and wonderful experience! We will be coming here again soon.

Granita is fabulous! The food, the service and the restaurant are extraordinary. Our server, and indeed all the servers, made sure we were well-taken care of during our visit. Watching the well-coordinated staff work in the open kitchen was a treat. The wine list is extensive and the cocktails are creative. My scallops were perfection!! Thanks for a terrific birthday meal!

Phenomenal dinner experience - never expected in a tucked away corner in Keene, NH downtown. Ambiance and furnishings welcome you, service was excellent, expansive wine list and yes…incredible food. Appetizers were truly just the beginning, the Caesar salad spot on (we fought over the croutons), entrees were excellent capped by dessert. My expectation is that one can savor each ingredient included in menu description - results here hit that the mark for each course! Fresh ingredients and refreshing/clean taste start to finish. First class!

We had dinner at Granita Enoteca to celebrate our birthday. The decor was beautiful, as sophisticated as any New York restaurant. The service was attentive and welcoming. The housemade pasta and seasonal ingredients made for a memorable meal. And the wine list was fun to explore -- very extensive!

Came for dinner with my husband to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Our waiter, Joe, was wonderful. Our drinks were delicious and the focaccia bread that they serve is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life. I got the tagliatelle cacio e pepe. This is usually made with angel hair so I wasn’t used to the thicker pasta. Mine was not done and was very very al dente and was very dry. My husband’s steak was one of the best things I’ve also ever eaten. Pricey at $45 but it was worth every penny. We definitely will be back.

Delicious food, good variety of spirits and beer, and a huge showcase of wine. They claim to have 1500 different wines available. I didn't get a chance to try them all. But the two that I tried were very nice. The service was friendly but a bit slow at times.

We don't get to Keene often, but decided to try Granita this time around. We generally liked it and plan to return. Some things we found odd, like the sauce with the cod dish seemed to have cayenne, which we didn't expect. But generally we thought the food worthy of returning. The wait staff were wonderful.

I'd rather not be served expensive wine by Keene High School teenagers who know nothing about wine.

My fiance and I went to granita last night for my birthday dinner. The restaurant and staff were clean and welcoming. Our server Destiny was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure my many allergies were noted and accommodated. The atmosphere was near perfect for a romantic birthday dinner but I can only give four stars. We were seated close to the front door by the wine fridge and throughout the night we could unfortunately hear the chef screaming at other workers which really damped the mood. We will definitely be back and reccomend the restaurant but maybe don't sit close to the kitchen 😬 (PS we had the prawn appetizer, the duck, the lamb shank, and the rhubarb dessert and it was all PHENOMENAL)

Not quite the dining experience one would expect. Trying to be fine dining, but needs work. I can't comment on the ambiance much other than we ended up sitting by the bar (not by choice but happened to be the available table, made reservations more than a week in advance), so we had to endure the constant sound of the martini shaker every five minutes and the parade of guests coming in the front door. Service was good, waitress was very attentive. The cadence of ordering, food delivery and follow up felt appropriate. Would have been 4-5 stars on service if not for the mix up on the mains noted below. Pasta dishes were OK. We were told all the pastas were hand made in house. The gnocchi were excellent. The rigatoni was also good but questionable whether it was handmade. For mains, I ordered filet mignon, the menu claimed prime grade but it was devoid of any intermuscular fat and cut tougher than any prime filet I recall. I used to work for the company that was the biggest processor of prime beef in Chicago. I spent three years of my career touring meat cutting and dry aging operations in the US. I found the steak grade highly suspect. Overall meal was bland and the potatoes resembled loose reconstituted Idaho spuds from a box. Another member at our table ordered the same filet. Theirs was easily two ounces smaller. I noted to the waitress the size difference and the level of doneness, she said something to the effect of "sorry we're new here, we'll make sure for future orders to fix that". When your paying to $62 for a $10 piece of beef, the appropriate response is we'll take it back to the kitchen. The servers mixed up plates not once but twice. First I got served the wrong plate all together, then I was served the other filet at the table that was cooked more. I noticed immediately the one I was served was the more well done of the two, and when asked the waitress, she incorrectly confirmed my plate was correct. Overall it was a good meal at a restaurant that's trying to fill.a very limited niche in Keene. Granita feels like it is trying to bring the NYC or Boston restaurant culture to Keene, but not quite hitting the mark.

M
Mathewson Ramsey

The food was ok, alittle overpriced. Their desserts especially the seasonal cheesecakes really are all I would get again.

M
Matthew Sandness

Strange experience overall: We made 7:30pm reservations but happily chose to sit at the mostly empty bar- did not realize they would be repeatedly scraping dirty dishes within inches of our seats. Why would any “fine dining” restaurant scrape dirty plates IN the dining room, near guests, especially during peak hours?? They also stacked up dirty glasses by the bar and were so far behind on cleaning that the entire side counter was littered. (Bonus points for the server clearing plates that dumped someone’s used water glass into the plant right next to me on the bar!!) They brought over dirty dishes on trays and then immediately used the same dirty trays to serve fresh food and drinks. We shifted down a seat to get some space. The first few dishes were timed well, and then we waited 20 min for a small pasta plate and then even longer for the mains. The bartender was so quick to refill our waters that she filled my unfinished bourbon snifter with ice water but never even acknowledged the mistake. Food: The focaccia was delicious. The mussels were good. The gnudi was very plain, but okay. Salmon with risotto was fine but nothing special. The 14oz. ribeye special ($75) came out in a huge platter with no spare room on the dish, the steak drowning in a wine reduction sauce, a huge pile of overcooked vegetables, and stale potato straws. It looked like someone helped themselves at a buffet. The best thing we ate that day was the street corn dip…from the Mexican restaurant across the street! We spent the evening laughing at our comically bad experience 😅

UPDATE- OCT 2025: I had previously left this review this summer after my experience trying to plan a rehearsal dinner. However, Nicolas the new general manager, reached out with a very sincere and kind apology and went above and beyond to makeup for the experience I had. It seems like management was rough back in June and hopefully Nicolas has the place set up for more success! The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside and the food is delicious. It may be worth giving them a look now knowing things have changed! :) SPRING 2025-Brides take caution! We tried to host our rehearsal dinner there this past June because we loved the atmosphere and outdoor space. We started communicating with them over a year in advance. Moe was terrible to communicate with answering emails once every few weeks, blaming it on the lack of staff. When I did get answers, it was just another excuse as to why we didn't have a menu yet. This went on from end of June when we met in person until September when there was finally a menu given to us and the price was almost as much as my wedding food per person!! Nothing close to what we talked to for price for person and way more food than I asked for. I then asked to adjust the menu with less options to aim towards our targeted price and it was another MONTH before she answered and at that time they claimed to accommodate the amount of guests wed have (30) we'd need to do a 1/2 or full buyout of the restaurant... nothing that was shared with me over the last 5 months of frustrating communication or even when we went in person. What a waste of my time!! Luckily, 2 other restaurants downtown were much more accommodating with 10x better communication.
