Fast friendly service and I received my food fast and it was fresh.
This location has the best whataburger staff ever, I usually get very particular sándwiches, today was a regular burger #1 and added S&S sauce. The food came out super fast and delicious, and everyone was super friendly and joyful, from the lady cashier to the girl that brought my food out and even the guy cleaning the tables. I wish i knew their name to give them all a good review, they very well deserve it. I hope this franchise is able to find more people like them. 09/01/2021 11:58 am. Thank y’all.

We love this location. Everyone is very polite and helpful. They also employ people with special needs. It is wonderful to see a restaurant care about their community, not only their customers, but the employees as well.
Got our order wrong, should have been BBQ wings but got buffalo instead, but the chicken wings are sooooo good we forgive them. And employee Jessica is a jewel, she noticed we'd been waiting and asked if we'd been helped yet. We said yes and we're waiting for an online order and she kindly went and checked on it for us. We didn't have to ask for help she noticed and took action. Thank you again Jessica!
We all know how fast food joints can be, but this location of Whataburger was impeccable. Food came out quickly, correctly, and was piping hot. The staff was kind and friendly and on top of everything. It’s too bad I live so far from this location, or I would be eating Whataburger much more often!

My first time at a Whataburger. I’m from Wisconsin and not use to places being air conditioned so cold, Jean noticed I was cold and brought me her sweater. She really went above and beyond. Such a sweet woman. Made our experience here incredible. Thanks Jean!! :)

We went early morning, Team member greeting at drive thru was very pleasant and patient. As we made our selections and moved to the window, his demeanor was the same. We paid and waited for meal to be prepared, shortly thereafter he asked us to pull to the white line and he would bring our meal to the truck. Not a longtime later he brought out the meal and apologized for it taking a long time, them he gave us 2 cookies for the wait. Great service
Mike, the manager, is so welcoming! He always greets us with a smile. After a quick chat, our food is delivered hot straight to our table. I appreciate the above and beyond service Kemah Whataburger provides us. Sweet and Spicy bacon burger is my boyfriends favorite. I'm more of a breakfast girl, so the honey butter chicken biscuit for me.
I don't eat fast food much, but when I do I like whataburger. You must try the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit (I prefer it on the Jalapeño cheddar Biscuit). It really is delicious.
Best Service EVER!!!!! Gilbert and Salvador were delightful, attentive, and offered amazing service with a smile. I will definitely return back to this location. Oh and you must try the Sweet and Spicy sandwich! You will not be disappointed!
Wonderful. The food was very hot. The entire dining room was so clean. The drink station was clean. The condiment area was well stocked and clean as well. The restrooms were very clean. The employees were working really hard. No loafing. Smiles and welcomed as you enter the dining room. Order was taken accurately. Food arrived quickly too.
My family loves Whataburger! My go to meal is a #5 meal with spicy ketchup. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu, it is all good. We enjoy breakfast as well! My favorite is a Jalapeno biscuit with sausage, egg, and cheese. Pancake meal is awesome as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and well lit.
I ordered a delivery from here and the door dasher forgot my drink, and acted very "whatever" about it. But when I called the restaurant, the staff was so helpful and got me my drink with no problem. Every time I order from here I am always satisfied. The food is great and the staff are excellent ❤️
We had a great experience during our visit, even though the place was extremely busy. Yvonne, who served us, was incredibly polite and professional crazy I even say that it’s whataburger ! . She took the time to reassure us that our food would come out as quickly as possible, and she kept things moving with a calm and positive attitude. Her service made a big difference and really stood out. Thank you, Yvonne, for making our visit a pleasant one!

Someone else said it as well, the food we received looked like it was straight out of the commercial. I have NEVER had fast food before that actually looks like the photos. It was that noticeable from the moment we removed the burgers from the wrapper. I don't know who they've got cooking back there but never get rid of them.
This is my favorite restaurant — I truly enjoy being here. Every single employee is friendly, hardworking, and genuinely dedicated to serving customers. And it’s not just one shift; I’ve seen different teams working at different times, and they’re all outstanding. I’m also a Dasher in the area, and if there’s one place I can confidently say prepares food with the highest level of dedication, cleanliness, and care, it’s this restaurant. As a Dasher, I highly recommend it as one of the best spots in League City and the surrounding area. And as a regular customer, I can tell you that everyone here is committed to giving you the best service and the best flavor. And if sometimes you feel like you have to wait a bit—please do. Perfection takes time, and what they serve here is worth every minute.
Excellent service from Candy. I don't make a habit of stopping by often, but this morning I was really hungry after my shift. Excellent customer service. The patty melt was really hot 🔥 & made to order. Peach pie was really tasty. My all time fave is their Cobb Chicken salad. Plenty of ingredients all the time, when my Dad orders to get mine delivered. Outstanding!!!

Always great at this location. There's a kid named Kaden that is always so helpful and polite. I'd like to thank his manager and trainers for doing such a great job. In fact, all of the employees here are great. The parking lot and restrooms are clean. The food is done well and quickly. This is one of the busiest locations in my area, but I purposely choose this one because I've never had problems and I like the way I'm treated.
It was around 11 at night and I ordered to dine in and was given quick service. I would rate it 5 stars but they lost my order in the process so I waited for a bit before I asked about my food. The food is warm and fresh do that's not a problem for me. I would suggest after 6 minutes asking about your food so long as it's not super busy. The bathrooms were clean and had soap as well as paper towels so that's a win no matter where u eat.
Early morning and my tortilla was crunchy on the Texas famous taquitos. A little sad about that but they may have been pre-made. Dudes that worked there were awesome though. I jammed so.e backstreet boys old-school to get a laugh out of them when I was waiting 😆
We picked up breakfast from here along the way to New Orleans. I had heard great things about Whataburger, and I was happy with it. It wasn't amazing but it was cooked nicely, hot and fresh and the service was good here. If you like hash browns get another order. They went very fast for me. Good breakfast.

Ordered through their mobile app for the first time thinking it would be faster. After checking in and getting a receipt, drink cups, and table number, ended up waiting an extra 10 minutes as 4 orders after me were served. Apparently my order was forgotten about and sitting in a bag. I had to ask for the second time before it was served. Food was for take out and was still warm, thankfully. Just a miss tonight. Note: If you order from the app, stay on top of the people working there letting them know what you are waiting for.
Food is always great. Service is always slow. We ordered delivery through their app instead of third party, and it took over 1 hour and 15 minutes for it to arrive. It was 2 combos, and we live less than 2 miles away. Don't order if you're already hungry.
Go through the drive through. They receive so many online orders it takes 20 minutes past the time on the app to get your food. They seem to prioritize the drive through to not block it. It's amazing the app has been this way for over a year and the new non Texan owners don't care. Sad to see the Texas tradition going downhill.
It was the drive-through. I didn’t go inside. But first of all the cashier got the wrong order and she was overcharging me so I said no I have a Whataburger on the way! And so then she said oh in the Diet Coke and I said yes and she said OK well so it is the price you’re saying. So then I get home and I’ve got a freaking bacon burger. They taste like it’s got barbecue sauce on it. It’s not even my order! What is wrong with these people there was a dozen people in. They’re all clustered around together!

Ordered 2 Taquito for take-out. Only one (sausage) was OK. But the 2nd order was for a cheese taquito with no sausage, bacon, potato. (Just egg & cheese.) What I received was a taco, with a slice of un-melted cheese and 2 potato pieces. It looked pathetic. So I drove back in my car and had it redone. The point is that 2nd one looked so pathetic, I don't understand why someone allowed it to leave the kitchen. Makes me wonder about QC in the kitchen, and whether to return again? The service wad good, however, the dogs was not fresh at all. I ordered for 3 people, and all 3 orders were fairly simple. My #8, was ok except the onion rings were cold and soggy. The same for my husband's #2. The fries were cold and soft. I live to far away and did not want to drive back. I more than likely not be visiting this location again.
This Whataburger does not take big bills at night! That stinks. Having written that, this Kemah Whataburger is attentive and professional. They get extremely busy at night after Midnight every night. People come because this Whataburger has very good service. It can take time but if you check your order before you leave this Whataburger will fix any issues quickly and politely apologize. I love Whataburger but this location must be cursed, the wait times are extremely long even when not busy. Better to drive a little further it will save you 30+ min
This is the worst Whataburger when it comes to service and waiting times. Every time we come here, people are parked waiting for their food and the drive thru or inside takes 10 freaking minutes. The fries are always warm. And ya'll want higher wages. 👎👎👎👎👎
We were driving in from out of town and decided to eat breakfast here. The food was good. Only issue was with service. The young man was rushing us through ordering and put our order in wrong and when we tried to correct him he just didn't seem to care. The dining area was clean and no major issues anywhere else.
Usually this place is always spot on! I normally choose this location over the other few that are near me. This visit I gave two stars ONLY because the burger I had was good. I didn’t give five stars because I placed an order for curbside but didn’t receive it even close to the promised time. I was waiting in the spot, watching the drive thru line get smaller and smaller. I seen several people walk in and back out with food and leave. After the third person I seen walk in and back out with food, I decided to just go inside. Two employees were at the front counter talking and I told them I was picking up and order. She reached behind her and grabbed an order that had obviously been there for a while. They didn’t even have the drinks ready for my order, yet my food was sitting there getting cold. Sure enough when I got to my truck and checked the fries, they were cold and soggy . Im not one to make a big deal out of something so small, I just wished that instead of lounging around chatting with a friend, my food would have been brought out to me. I will still always choose this location but probably will never use the curbside option again.
First Whataburger experience. It was less than desirable. While my food came out at an expected speed for fast food, my wife's food took until I was almost finished eating and she ordered before me. That aside, the food was average. As expected, doesn't stand out
No other cars in drive thru, not busy inside, my order was still incorrect and the biscuit (sandwich) literally crunched with first bite. Yes, I called. Yes, manager offered free meal replacement on my next visit. But, we’re still hungry and out $12 bucks 🙄 I’ve ‘typically’ had good experiences here, but why is there no standards or consistency? If you wouldn’t eat it, don’t give it to me! Sick of fast food places serving up nothing but disappointment.
This was our first whataburger experience and probably our last. My son and I ordered and my husband and his friend ordered a few minutes after us. My husband and his friend were nearly done with their meal before ours even came out. The food was very average for how long it took to come out, which was about 15 minutes.
1. App/Online Orders/To-Go/Menu Yes. They have an app, and it works, BUT they were about 8 minutes longer than how long they said it would be. Total wait time around 16 minutes. 2. Convenience The app is super convenient, but make sure you give yourself more time than they state. They are never on time, even nights like tonight when they were SLOW. 3. Parking Plenty of parking. 4. Wait Time Again, expect a 15+ minute wait. Not very fast. 5. Food correctness Make sure you check everything BEFORE you leave. Tonight's error, missing large fries. I'm glad we had more or I would have had one upset kiddo. 6. Food Flavor Tonight--bland. Fries had zero salt. The coke in the machine was sputtering and I had to dump it and fill it twice to get an acceptable flavor. Burgers were ok. 7. Service Service was good, minus the errors in execution. Everyone was polite. 8. Value For $21.51 for 2 burgers and an extra fry (that I never got) it's hard to build value. When the fries are cold and have no salt, you start missing McDonalds fries and value. 9. Experience Overall, I appreciate the app, I just wish the food would come out on time, correct and like it used to be--good. 10. Go Back Again? Sadly, no. Not to this location. The potential is there because it's Whataburger, however, the execution here isn't on par with other locations.

The only problem I have is cost so much and the cups are so flimsy the just picking it up broke the cup my large shake went all over my clothes. My phone was clipped on my belt it was covered. This is ridiculous with how much they charge for food. Most of the time it's more than going out and sitting in a restaurant. My last time to go to Whataburger
Second time I order food and it tastes like bacon grease. I’ve been a vegetarian for a couple years now, I order pancakes hoping they taste like pancakes and not bacon grease. Whataburger needs to be thoughtful of those who can’t consume meat, and perhaps use another grill or not cook the pancakes so close to the bacon. My pancakes taste awful. Never going again. This the is second time now.
Patiently waited in the drive through for 20 minutes only to receive our food cold.
The only positive thing I can say is that the staff seemed pretty nice. My drink was bad and had no syrup in it, my fries were cold, my burger was cold, and also made wrong. I asked for mayo and mustard on it and was given mayo in a small container, not on my burger, and no mustard. It also had a hair in it. Maybe spend some more time making fresh food instead of trying to hurry people through the line. I'd rather wait a few more min for quality. I was actually quite grossed out by my order.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Whataburger. After placing an order for myself and a few friends, I discovered upon returning home that several items were missing. Expecting a simple resolution, I contacted the restaurant directly, only to encounter a less-than-helpful response. The staff member on the phone was impolite and refused to offer a refund for the missing items. Furthermore, when I requested a name for reference, the employee declined to provide any identification. This lack of accountability and customer service is unacceptable, and it has significantly tarnished my view of what used to be a favorite dining spot. I hope Whataburger addresses these issues to prevent future customer dissatisfaction.

I would give no stars to this location if I could. They’re always incredibly slow if you’re doing curbside. I stopped going to this location for about a year, but I decided today to give them another chance. I’m yet again disappointed because they forgot my milkshake. If you want a positive whataburger experience, avoid this location.
I ordered a #20 meal. They charged me for a apple juice and taquito only. I tell the guy at the window I ordered a meal. ... what's the difference of that... He stared at the computer and asked if I wanted to pay for the hash browns. I asked how much that was... He said 2.50 I said but that's more than the meal costs, I wanted the meal? FYI the meal only costs 6.38, I paid 6.37... So anyways he just looks at me and shrugs and says I don't know. At this point,I just roll up my window and leave because I'm frustrated and maybe he's new. But he definitely needs to be trained on what to do if that happens. i was in a hurry to get to work and didn't have time to deal with it. I work in the service industry, I get it. But you gotta have better customer service than a shrug. 😞
Ended up asking for refund after waiting over 15 minutes for my chicken strip meal. This opened my eyes and made me think, $8 for 3 small chicken strips, half a potato (fries), and a drink, what a joke when fast food isn't fast anymore and it's almost $10/meal. Think we need to start making better decisions people. No more fast food restaurants people until they start getting back to their roots...fast food and fair pricing. Not slow food and over price. Kinda defeats the purpose of what made fast food convenient.
Just ordered a triple meat burger and a soy meat burger why did they only put one cheese on both burgers literally one cheese very unprofessional I literally only asked for cheese n mayo on my burger and got one piece of cheese per burger to top it off they took forever their was a lady behind me and she got her food first before me
We order from this place through Uber Eats and there is a food quality issue every single time. Missing items is common, they also don't fill the fries and give you the quantity that you ordered. Food is commonly dry like it's been sitting out. This is the only Whataburger location I have this problem at. Seems maybe they need to take a closer look at the employees.
I just spent over 45 minutes waiting for 2 orders of wings and fries. I sat at a table for 30 while watching all of the ticket times turn red and not a single employee move with any pep in their step. I walked out to my car several times and noticed the drive through not moving either (reason for going inside in the first place). Every employee was unfriendly and unbothered by the fact that everyone was huffing and puffing while they moved as slow as they possibly could. I watched as my wings sat on the stainless steel for over 10 minutes, they “lost my order” then when I finally receive it I have to turn around because I’m missing every single sauce I requested (on my receipt as well) so I had to wait inside for another 5 minutes for sauces. My wings are sitting in front of me now, cold and fries were cold from the beginning. Worst whataburger ever. Slowest fast food staff I have ever witnessed. 0/10 experience that I will never come back to.
This will be the last trip I ever make to a Whataburger. They have not gotten an order right in my last three trips. It still took longer than 5 minutes with only three cars in the drive-thru. And, of course, they got the order wrong. And, of course, I didn't realize it until I was 2 miles away. Then they had a really bad attitude when I went back and made them correct my order. Whataburger has fully turned itself into McDonald's. And that is a pity. It once was my favorite fast food restaurant.
Look at Kami’s review below from a week ago. Same issue she had a week ago I have a week later. It seems they don’t care much about reading these reviews and fixing the problem. Stick to the fries!! These brown onions rings are horrible. Change the oil or stop re-frying the same onion rings!
Joan is extremely demeaning to associates in this store. She does not smile when working with customers and it’s 100% obvious that she hates her job. She is very passive with customers and shows zero positive customer experience attributes. Being demeaning shows the negative enviro enemy in this establishment, it’s disappointing because as I’m typing this review, multiple customers have made comments on her conduct. Joan needs some customer service training and needs to learn how to positively uplift her team by being a coach and not by demeaning them. I hope someone takes notice to this, it’s apparent that Joan lacks leadership and she needs some training!
I’m an exiting customer of Whataburger in fact I’ve even worked at Whataburger. I’m very disappointed in this Whataburger that I stopped at this morning. First I ordered 4 drinks only. One of those drinks happened to be an iced coffee and I ordered mocha. We were placed into lane B for 30 minutes waiting on just drinks. When we finally got are drinks. My drink was diluted so much that there wasn’t any ice left in the coffee. I told it inside and to ask for a manager and the lady at the front counter Missy decided to laugh and said “we’ll it’s been that kind of morning”.She called her manager over and the manager informed me that the drinks were ready and just sitting on the counter because the runner didn’t know what car to take the drinks to. I explained that this was unacceptable for Whataburger. I used to work for Whataburger and this is just unacceptable. I asked her to replace my coffee and she asked what flavor coffee that I wanted. I told her Mach’s and she explained that they didn’t have mocha they only had vanilla and caramel. So not only was I upset that it took long to get drinks,poor service, but on top of that I was sold a mocha coffee and they didn’t have mocha iced coffee only caramel so I would have gotten something that I didn’t even want and had to pay for it. Poor customer service, poor team effort, and poor communication skills.

I came in and the crew was busy helping drive-through so I waited by the register. I was not greeted and I was not asked to place my order for nearly 10 minutes. While I was standing there, I was unfortunately able to hear the staff and their conversation. They were referring to someone as “captain save a (garden tool that women are sometimes referred to as).” Referring to women as that term is unprofessional, offensive, and not on par with the brand. No matter if it is 4 in the afternoon or 4 in the morning, I should be able to set foot in Whataburger without hearing derogatory terminology for any gender, affiliation, race, or anyone at all. (Management, check your video/audio recording for Jan 14, 2025 appx 3-4 am). Kids will be kids but if they can’t be mature at work, then keep them home. AND the fries were soggy and wet. Just a bad experience all around.
The bacon on my taquito was missing. I tried calling the restaurant; Chris and two other managers kept putting me on hold without any sort of communication. This location is great during the day and horrible at night. They lack what it takes to provide basic customer service.
We’ve been here many times but it look like lady name Joan she a manager because always has on a white shirt she’s just so rude she just I don’t know what’s going on with her we come here to have a nice lunch I have a large business myself there are many places to eat I love Whataburger but having to deal with her I will go somewhere else
Worst service we’ve ever had at a whataburger. 38 minutes in a drive through when it’s visibly slow and employees chatting inside is not ok
Took 20 minutes in the drive thru for 2 meals. And said it was because of the onion rings. But served 8 other vehicles. Didn't even say anything until 15 minutes in and had to ask for the name on the order.
The worst of the worst! We have been eating Whataburgers for years; however, the past few years a delightful Texas fast food has turned to slop. Out of desperation we tried again this evening. The "hamburger meat" was paper thin and the lettuce and tomato were sparse and soggy. Onions were added, albeit not ordered. We had points saved from past orders and used them for free fried onions. Instead, we got three orders of French fries. We understand that the employees are teenagers for the most part so some mistakes are expected. Nevertheless, it did not take a Chicago based company long to destroy a Texas tradition. We do not see this franchise as profitable for much longer and certainly don't plan to further contribute.
Rude lady at the mic, didn't listen and decided to be rude again when she decided to tell us to move to the outside lane even though there was only 2 cars in front. Lazy lady and won't be coming back. We won't fund lazy.
I don’t know what’s happened to this Whataburger. I raved about their food before told everyone I loved the grilled chicken sandwich. It always had fresh vegetables on it. Today it was smashed in the bottom of the bag with another order. When pulled out of there I thought it awfully thin. The bun was down in the bag! The wrapper wasn’t all the way around it. The lettuce was limp and dark green like it had been cooked or left in a microwave or something. This was a horrible sandwich! What is going on with them???? I had a bad order the last time I went there! I thought I’d give them another chance!!!!!
Manager Candy very rude. I placed an order and the cashier forget to add cheese which made my total change. I processed to cancel the order and from the back of the kitchen you can hear candy say “Dammit Serenity”. When I asked for the name of the employee who said it nobody wanted to give her name! She came to the front to cancel the order and not once apologized of even acknowledged the issue
Food is always good at Whataburger. But it’s ridiculous to wait in line at the drive thru for 30 minutes while EVERYONE behind you gets their food.
This was the worst experience. The food was so slow. And every meal was wrong. They forgot drinks or got the order wrong. I tried to get the order corrected and it was wrong again.
Overpriced or a basic burger. App is complicated on purpose and not worth using. Completely downhill since they sold out and it shows.
Probably the worst experience ive ever had at this location. Did online mobile order, gave them little time cause I noticed parking lot was full. I get it, it gets busy. I work customer service as well. Finally, I walk over. Get my drink. Told to wait for food, ok not a problem. 20-30 minutes go by im still sitting there. Finally, I ask whether my food is after i notice multiple people that walked un after me and ordered are gettinf their food. Its been done whole time, she goes to grab it, bag catches fire, how idk, they then proceed to drop the bag with my food in it on the floor and step on it to put flame out. Lady at counter comes back "going to be longer, your bag caught on fire" no apology, nothing. Finally, I get my bag with food. Fries are hot, yay, but burger is made wrong and is cold. You let my food sit there for 20-30 minutes to get cold, then drop it on floor and step on it, then hand me a bag with incorrect and cold food? This location will not be getting my business anymore.
I just left the drive through which I was waiting at for 25 minutes. Once I finally got my food back it was cold and incorrect. I was the first car in line. There was no communication on how long the wait would be after I had been charged.
I got chicken strips earlier today and the cream gravy was like water absolutely disgusting. I ended up throwing it out the window so it wouldn’t spill all over me. It was literally like water. If this is how this Whataburger is going to be I’m going to find some else to eat. This is ridiculous. This brand has went down the tube since being bought out.
Every time I come here, they give me sweet tea instead of unsweetened.I am convinced they're trying to kill me. Also, the guy in the drive through at 11:30 am 12/7 is extremely disrespectful and rude fire him.
I come here quite often and service is usually good. Deserae made me feel very unwelcome with her rude tone and taking forever to take my simple order. She took my phone when i paid with apple pay when other workers let me keep my phone in hand and made me get out my car even though i wasn’t that far out. bad experience.
Done with Whataburger. This is not the first time since the venture capital group from Chicago buying Whataburger does not care about customer service. They only care about profit not customer service. I called the store and asked if they could make a Spicey Bacon Cheeseburger since it is not on there app. They told me no. The Dodson Family never told there customers no.
⭐ 1 star Deeply disappointing and upsetting visit to Whataburger. 305 FM Rd 518 East, Kemah, TX 77565 I witnessed one of the worst displays of customer service I’ve ever seen. Joan, the cashier, was openly rude and dismissive to multiple elderly customers who were struggling to use their phones and the app. Instead of offering help or patience, she acted annoyed, rolled her eyes, and spoke to them with such condescension that it was hard to watch. She told multiple elderly customers to get out of line because they were holding it up! What upset me even more was how she treated a mother with small children who was clearly overwhelmed. Rather than showing even an ounce of empathy, Joan was short, cold, and visibly irritated — as if this mom was an inconvenience instead of a paying customer doing her best. I witnessed the mom order white milk for her children and Joan gave her chocolate , the mom politely corrected Joan and Joan told her “YOU SAID CHOCOLATE” …. Can you even imagine being spoken to like that?????? No one should be made to feel like a burden for needing a little help or for showing up with kids. This isn’t the kind of energy you expect from Whataburger, a place that’s always felt family-friendly and welcoming until now. I know today is stressful but there is absolutely no excuse to treat people like garbage! I truly hope management addresses this. Joan should not be working the front counter if she cannot treat every customer — young or old — with basic kindness and respect.
