Try the “ fried scone “ you’ll think you’re at the state fair but better than any funnel cake or elephant ear !!!! The Treehouse is an absolute GO-TO when you’re in the Kenai area ! It’s definitely worth a drive a little north on the Kenai Spur Hwy . Don’t let the Modest building and decor fool you. I’ve never had a bad meal, I’m in town a few times a year and it’s consistently good no matter when I show up ! It’s a classic American diner with a large variety of Breakfast , dinner, and lunch options that are all great . Fries are crispy , burgers are yummy , the ranch dressing is delicious, the staff is kind and helpful. One of my favorite restaurants in Alaska , a total hidden gem !

The chicken dumplin soup is to die for, absolutely the best I have ever had. They must have at least 25 items available in the salad bar, so fresh. Love the $15.00 daily lunch buffet special....

Great spot anytime if day. Great burgers great soup great pizza. They make bread, rolls and pies daily. The owner (i overheard as i was playing for my dinner) let's people run tabs. I actually think he just gave away pizza to someone whom called asking for a tab. Totally Alaskan, never give a hand out always give a hand up.

I would choose Treehouse Pizza over any pizza place in town. How they make it so perfectly, greasy and salty, with the perfectly crisp crust? I do not know. Also love the lunch buffet, and the salad bar with tons of options.

The wait staff and Cooks were friendly and efficient. They use a Wi-Fi based ordering system and was very quick even for a large family to get food. The food was well made and arrived soon enough to satisfy even the children.

Wait staff polite and attentive. Food was served quickly and she did ask if I wanted the soup served ahead of the dinner. The beef and vegetable soup was good but too salty. I think the roast beef was very good, but it was hard to tell for the salty gravy on it. Minimal salt, if any, should be put on food in the kitchen, especially because of the large number (48%) of people with high blood pressure. Admittedly, salt is not the only cause, but leave it up to the customer.

There is a nice salad bar that comes with some of the meals, but it isn't clear that there is an upcharge for the salad bar. Missing price on the specials. Decent sized portions, just disappointed on clarity..

Disappointed tonight. I drove from kenai because I had the cheese bread a few months ago and it was so good with lots of cheese but tonight the cheese bread had a paper thin layer of cheese on it.

My nachos were movie style nachos with some seasoned ground beef, jalapenos & I'm pretty sure the cheese was straight out of the can as it was not warm in the least. I don't like sending things back, because I'm always afraid of what might be done to my replacement meal. =/ A restaurant should never ever, ever, ever, serve Rico's canned cheese, stale chips, topped with seasoned beef (kinda tasted like Taco Bell beef-? that may also have been a pre packaged or canned item) and call that dish, "Nachos". 🤦‍♀️ This is the 4th place on the Peninsula that I've eaten an 'ethnic' food dish & I might be done with restaurants forever if this is the food I should come to expect 😭 Btw, our waitress WAS very sweet!!

I was in nakiski or however you spell that lol to go to the pool and vet dinner with my boyfriends family. When we walked into the restaurant the floors were sticky, bugs flying EVERYWHERE including on the food. We found a table, very wobbly to the point that my drink almost slid off the table AND it spun, it was very sticky as well and nothing was cleaned before we sat down. Our waitress was this older lady, super nice but took almost 10 minutes to even get the menu and another 10 for her to take our order, we had 10 people, ordered 5 drinks, an extra large pizza, cheesy bread, and a half order of biscuits and gravy. She spent 3 minutes getting the drinks right, and told us we were going to fast since she was on a tap screen, we were talking slow as hell. Finally ordered everything, as well as salads. Salads we had to get on our own and we're not very sanitary at all, nothing was covered and bugs everywhere. Took about 20 to 30 minutes to get our food and then boom, somebody bites into a COUGH DROP RAPPER IN THE PIZZA, everything else was fine except we had to ask to get a drink refill even when the drink machine was facing customers. We got that pizza for free but they refused to make us a new one. We left and asked for to go boxes and the gave us a disgusting and used pizza box for the messed up pizza. Disgusting, we left after using the bathroom, sticky floors, stuff smeared all over the walls, toilet seats were peed and pooped on and there were pubic hairs on thw seats. This place is horrid, never go there and I will never go there again even though the food tasted fine, that place is unsanitary, and clearly had sick workers since there was a cough prod rapper cooked into the food!! RIDICULOUS
