2025 Update, my review from 2021 listed below still stands true. This location's original chicken is still excellent and delicious. One of the few good things about Killeen, or Texas. ---- I don't know what the staff at this location is being paid, but it is not enough. My order of original chicken was, seriously, the best KFC I've had in at least 20 years. I have been disappointed with KFC since something in the mid to late 90s. Today's order reminded me of why I bother still trying it every now any then. The crew here should be promoted, and some even sent out to train other locations on how to cook their chicken correctly to justify the price. I'm half irritated that it's still possible to make good KFC, just dozens of locations around the country simply don't.
I have to say that we stop going to this kfc for over a year and we recently had some kfc through a family member and to our surprise it was really good so we decided to try it again at the veterans memorial location...wow what a difference! polite, fast service and the chicken was good, didn't taste like old grease. I must say that the manager Ms Malika Parks has turned that KFC around and made it better! 6 orders later within the past month all correct and the food has been great every time👍👍💯💯💯💯... Ms Malika Parks We Salute You.
We had to wait for some chicken to get done, which wasn't an issue at all, to get fresh chicken. The only complaint was, the fries were cold. Besides that, they had great service. 👍
I usually get the chicken pot pie or the 2-piece dark meat comes with one side and biscuit for $6+ which is good price compared to the other options. Love those apple poppers too.. bit pricey in my opinion but great taste. Come in sets of 4 or 10 pieces
Great atmosphere, especially for someone visiting Killeen. Ms Rhonda, the manager handled every aspect of my situation according and very much so professionally. I'm grateful for their satisfactory grade mannerisms.
This is the best KFC I've been to, my wife & I drive across town to come here, about 20 minutes total but it's WORTH IT. Food Is always fresh, delicious and hot. Employees are always friendly and polite.
I drive from southside Harker Heights to this KFC because Everytime I come here I come here I am treated with so much respect and kindness. From the cashier to the gentlemen working in the back they have always had superior customer service. Iranda was my cashier yesterday and she showed her superior customer service not only with me but the lady before me. So kind and caring. And the gentleman who brought me my food was very respectful. I got the best service on delivery piping hot food and the drink just right y’all put jack n the box to shame my family has spent 150 in 24 hours on food off of veterans and y’all and dominos will get us again
Everyone working today was literally so sweet. Made that comment to a manager and she said she is new to taking over the store. She's doing a great job. The rest of the staff were super polite and helpful. All the food was great.
I’ve been here twice in the same week already and the customer service was great both times! Also my order was correct and it was fresh n hot . The drive thru cashier is awesome!! Okayyyyy
I always go to KFC for their spicy chicken sandwich 🥪. That's the only thing I get from them since their regular meals are greasy. This is just my own opinion. I don't like too oily foods. Service was average, cashier was gentle and professional. They do have a large space for parking and do have wheelchair parking access.
It was a very good experience. The food was hot and it peaceful. The only adjustment I made was due to staffing shortage. I was instructed to go through drive thru, pay and return inside to eat. They literally had just 3 people there and no one working front counter. Other than that, I was happy with the service.
Ordered through the kiosk the 3 piece big box meal. Didn't get my order until 30 minutes later
The chicken was cooked better this time a month ago it was greasy and not at all what KFC is normally.
Upon arrival the cashier (10/13/21, 6pm'ish) greeted us. I asked if #6 can come with three thighs. She had to ask, said yes and immediately began to pull chicken. I really never committed to #6, but anyway....I the said wait a second. She was like I was bothering her. I asked am I bothering you? She said she hears me in her headphones plus people in back. Whatever... Then while she was retrieving my change a worker came up to her with two cigarettes. Really? We are the sole customers, he couldn't WAIT A TO DO THAT AFTERWARDS? good grief. As we left, cigarette smoke blasted us outside the door. Can't workers smoke away from the entrance? Won't be returning. By the way, no signage but debit card wasn't allowed. About 3 customers left before ordering.
They used to have an awesome employee that would make sure the food quality and order was up to par. However since she is being gone the service sucks, the food standards have gone down. They orders are always missing something or they just give you the wrong orders. Sadly I love KFC but this is the only establishment close and I will have to stop having KFC until I'm out of town. Don't recommend.
The food is usually very good. But the last time the chicken was overly greasy. I'm hoping it was just this one time 🙂🙏
Went there last night. ordered an 8 piece MIXED crispy family meal. Haven't gone there in a while. But doesn't an 8 piece meal come with 2 breasts, 2 wings, 2 thighs, and 2 wings? We were not happy when we got 4 legs and no wings. Never seen a chicken with 4 legs Check your food before you leave
Mobile order was supposed to be ready at 1400. I got there at 1407 and still had to wait another 15 minutes. The chicken tenders were very salty, and the breading was inconsistent. Some were fine, and some were extremely hard. I ordered gravy for my side for dipping the chicken in and found the bottom of the gravy container pushed up into the "well" which reduced the amount of gravy by almost 50%. They gave me the wrong sauce even though the receipt says it was double-checked for accuracy. I think from now on, I will limit my KFC purchases to the one in Copperas Cove as it is the best KFC I have been to in Texas.
It’s different every-time I go. I always get a bucket with extra crispy. Some days it’s soggy and gross and other days it’s how it should be. Never have had a really nice employee, they our just there, hand the food and go, nothing else. Wish I could give 2.5 stars.
Couldn't find a clean table to eat at. Entire restaurant needs to be degreased. Staff forgot alot on my order. Had to go to the counter twice. Below average service by far. No point in remodeling if the entire place is covered in grease. Might wanna check that vent fan above the fryers. Probably won't go again. Update, went again because it was close. DONT eat here..
Food is always fresh but the he waiting is ridiculous, short staff always . They are more focus on the drive thru then the inside
We stopped to order a Family meal. They didn't have it ready and told us it would take 30 minutes. We was okay with that and we placed our order and came back in 30 minutes. It actually took 45 minutes and when we got it home the skin was soggy and barley holding on to the chicken, the meat was pink and chewy, we had to put it in our oven to finish cooking it. Biscuits was not soft, macaroni was good, coleslaw was good and mashed potatoes and gravy was good. But a 45 minute wait? The chicken should have been burnt in 45 minutes, not raw.
It's no wonder this place is always empty. Everytime I come pick up a doordash order I wait at least 15-20 minutes. The employees are very slow workers so I've observed. Short staffed or not, I wouldn't order anything from this location if I'm hungry now and not later.
Normally everything is fine here... BUT NOT TODAY (Wed. May 4, 2022 after 6:30pm) we had to pull off and wait over 10 min to get our order and then when we get home.. no forks and I knew as soon as I seen the chicken it probably wasn't done. I've never had soggy, mushy crust on chicken like that. Cut the meat to the bone and it had a lil pink juice coming out. Thought maybe I could microwave it for a few minutes.. but no.. it's bloody to the bone! This ain't the move KFC! Instead of worry about drive through time yall need to worry about putting out quality. I'm bout to go get my money back..... might be back... we shall see. Update 12 26 2022 It's starting to seem everytime I come here now it's always an issue. The fryers are down, they can only serve this or that, out of chicken, that's going to beea 30min wait. Etc.
Staff does not know how to listen to a customers order nor cook it correctly apparently. Despite that the Manager did a great at rectifying the issues she was kind and processed the refund.that being said my chicken was not cooked all the way and I’ll be making the extra 15 minute drive to go to the Harker Heights KFC from now on.
Nice enough people. Issue we had is we put in our order online, completion time was 6:25 pm. We show up to get it, they inform us chicken is still cooking, it’s been 20 mins at this point.
I cannot say I was pleased but I was not surprised. I miss the Potato wedges ijs. The customer service was beyond amazing thank you Q for being an outstanding employee he deserves a promotion and raise just because he was so genuine. I will return because of the priceless customer service experience. Hopefully I’ll be able to sit down inside and eat and dine in. The fries were horrible I’ll be honest and I think it maybe the grease but either way they were horrible to me and my taste buds
I honestly cannot recommend food from this location. More often then not when food was brought home, it was undercooked, and the meat had an off taste. If it wasn't undercooked, it was dried out to the point where the skin was so brittle that it was not edible.
TWO WORDS.. FOOD POISONING I went through the drive thru and was surprised that by the time I got to the window, they had my food ready. This location is fast but they had never been THAT fast, there was one car ahead of me and by the time I got behind them; they were pulling off. That... should have been a sign. I ended up getting violently sick. I noticed that the chicken tasted a bit different but I figured that was due to my tastebuds being off because my nose was stuffy. I got through a small portion of the meal before I felt queasy and ended up putting the rest in the fridge. My roommate checked the food in the fridge after I got sick and said it smelled rancid. Unfortunately, I couldn't smell anything because of my stuffy nose. After a day and a half of pure intestinal hell (I still feel sick), I call the location to speak with a manager to let them know what happened. First the manager asked me if I was 100% sure I had been to that location and not the new Stan Schlueter one. Seriously?! I let her know I called the number on my receipt. Then, apparently because no one else called in and complained about their food; it was impossible that mine was bad. The manager ended up placing me on hold , then had someone else get back on the line and end the call for her because she was too busy. I placed a call to corporate customer service right after and will avoid this location from now on.
Each time we come here we end up waiting 25 or more minutes for our food(off to the side). No receipts and incorrect orders as well. I even asked for a receipt twice this time and got another customers receipt. There were so many people backed up Ald waiting that we couldn't get out of there even after the long wait. Never coming back and bringing this locating up when i go to a community meeting.
I purchased food at this location on 06/20/2020. The manager, Aiyana, was VERY unprofessional. The window was opened the whole entire time and not ONCE did I have her full undivided attention. She was on her headset the WHOLE ENTIRE TIME, slowing down the process of me getting my food and getting out of the drive through. There was absolutely no hospitality and the customer service overall was very poor. I will NEVER come back to this KFC or any KFC again due to this experience.
Went to this location at 10pm trying to order a chicken family meal and this Lady on the headset keep telling me THEY DONT HAVE ENOUGH CHICKEN ANYMORE TO SELL BECAUSE THE FRYER WAS OFF ALREADY , and i was like , really ??? You are close at 11pm and nomore chicken to sell because you clean the fryer early ...??? Tell me is that a good reason to your customer!!!!! Thats make any sense at all ... Management needs to make further actions!!!!!
I've never seen a restaurant that prides themselves on running out of food at least 2 hours before they close and this isn't a one time isolated incident this is an all the time thing with this location. Let's not also forget the 20 minute wait time just to be told that there's nothing available and then as you go through the menu they're out of this they're out of that they're out of that they're out of this I'm so sick of this restaurant the staff the management the whole thing needs to be overall and overturned
It's good to get food here when your leaving from work & bring it home to your family but yesterday, my sister went here on a Saturday night & they served her bad raw chicken, which she was eating until she noticed she was eating raw chicken. She was sick all day yesterday, couldn't get out of her bed through out the whole day. She was soon given medicine for her stomach & also had a bad headache. This place isn't just that good enough, maybe if you guys for y'all who work there really took the time to cook your food to your customers, nobody here in these comments wouldn't be as unhappy as they are. We would love coming here when y'all are doing your work right but sadly it's not like that as much... I understand that sometimes y'all have busy days & wanna rush through out your cooking to serve the food but you can not rush your cooking for us to end up eating food that isn't even well done. That's really disgusting, i wouldn't wanna come back here for myself & family & friends if that's how it's gonna be all the time. My sister is now doing better today, she's well and fine but next time get your food right & stop rushing food that needs to be given just cause it's a busy day...
Stood in line 5 min because their drive thru was down. Watch the customer ahead of me order 4 famous bowls and KFC was out of bowl lids so they covered them with saran wrap. I was immediately next and tried to order the same just to be told they couldn't serve bowls. Even though they just served 4 immediately before me.
Let those chickens grow up before you kill sale and serve those little birdies. For goodness sake leave the baby chickens alone until they get grown
Today I went to the kfc on veterans to order food for my family as I was standing with my kids and deciding what to order and how much as I approach to place my order the cashier was rude and disrespectful and told the manager she doesn’t know what I was ordering as for the manager on shift she took my order and felt like she didn’t want to do her work I spent so much for my order and it will be the last time I would walk into the kfc on veterans memorial Killeen tx. Sorry but I had to give it a 1 star if service was better I would of given better results.
I got a tiny box of popcorn chicken which was all dryed. and half of them had no chicken in it, there was no napkins! The service was real bad.
When I visited today. I checked my receipt to see the I was charged for the 12pc meal instead of the 8pc but was only giving 8 pcs. The price on the menu said $20.99 and they charged me $28.99 which was showing a 12 pc meal price. Also I asked for the Cole slaw to be switched with Mac and cheese and on the receipt it was but when I got home they had Cole slaw inside the bag. Overall bad experience and won’t be returning to this location.
They are extremely wary of substitutions (if they let you do it at all), they don't offer condiments, and the food tastes re-fried or dry every single time. The service is slow and most (but not all!) of the people that work there are rude - specifically management. I have been to this location a handful of times because of the convenience, but tonight will be my last time there. My son loves the popcorn chicken but I'd rather drive all the way to Harker Heights than to eat at the Veterans Memorial KFC. I ALWAYS check my order there and I saw that I accidentally forgot to request substitution for the mashed potatoes for my son and the manager went on and on to the poor girl at the window about the substitution messing up the inventory because it had already been receipted. (Pretty sure that's not how fast food inventory works...) I was going to offer to pay for my mistake, but her rudeness changed my mind and I didn't want to sit there any longer than I had to.
Went twice last week. First visit took forever to get our food. We were inside the staff was more involved with each other than helping. Second visit went horribly wrong!! Asked for original recipe not enough chicken was peeped so they asked if they could substitute crisp. We said no we will wait! And wait we did but when we got home it was all crispy. Drove back across town and when we walked back in we were ignored by the two ladies at the counter. Really! This business needs help! We will not return!
If I could put zero stars i would. This place is a joke. I ordered through doordash tonight and my poor dasher was waiting about 30 minutes for my food to be ready. When the food arrived it was ice cold like it had been sitting over night. AND items were missing. I had to get credit on my doordash account to reorder my food. After I placed my order AGAIN I had my husband call to have them make sure it was hot and everything was there. He called multiple times and no one answered as if they were ignoring the phone. He then decided to download a calling app to see if they would answer and guess what they answered so it appears they were ignoring his call when they saw the same number pop up. Completely unprofessional. When I got the notification that my dasher was at the restaurant I watched the app to see how long this dasher was waiting and once again this dasher was waiting approx 15-20 minutes. Save your time and money and find somewhere else.
Do NOT go to this KFC. It is worth the time to drive across town to a different one. I have been here SEVEN times and have had to leave every time after about 20 minutes, because the staff won't even acknowledge you when you walk in. And good luck with drivethru. They will have you sit at the speaker for about 20 minutes as well.
VERY unorganized and it shows with how the lady at the drive through (I assume the manager) is barking orders to the other employees about lack of product and long wait times. Not to mention I had gotten home with my order only to find they left out some of my order. Had to return and then eat our meal 45 minutes later, barley warm, if that. Avoid this location.
The Stan Schleuter Location here in Killeen is so much better. This location on Veteran's Ave used to be good but over the last three years their customer service has become extremely horrible! Rude workers and slow service when they're not busy. They also run out of original recipe so often it's pathetic.
The whole crew is nice but a complete train wreck and it shows with the management . We were waiting forever on our order, we noticed the people 2 in front of us were still waiting on their food while the ones directly in front already had theirs ate and left. The others final got their order only for it to be incomplete. Same happened with ours! Part of ours came out quick, 10 minutes later the second part came, only for it to be wrong. They fixed it and then forgot to give the side biscuit and cookie. Had to go back up to get it all. If you want great service or a complete meal...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
IF YALL LIKE WAITING FOR FOOD THIS THE PLACE FOR YALL! Also- Definitely contacting corporate as the manager watched her cook run food, belittled her TEENAGE workers, and clearly can’t manage her way out of a wet paper bag to say the least. She seemed so frazzled by pushing the button on the screen to change the orders. There was an Elderly gentleman standing at the counter waiting to be helped, stood behind him for at least 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged him. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time seeing this at this particular location. So to the owner of the franchise, I highly recommend someone that can actually perform the job duties and not make your other employees carry the whole load. For reference, visit was 1/9/2023 from 5:30-6:35pm.
Went through the drive thru on 10/3/2022, ordered, got to the window and paid. The drive thru worker asked me to park in the parking lot. I informed her there was no one behind me so there was no reason to move. She stated I am on the drive through time. I said no as that is not my issue, a manager then came to the window and restated I needed to move. I then stated just like you are short on time so am I. I just need my food so I can go she said your not getting you food so I asked for a refund and left. Lost a sale over drive thru time. It's not the customers fault that you were not prepared for a lunch rush... 0 stars would be given if possible. Never going back to this KFC.
Ordered on line for pick up. Bag was sealed shut. Got home and discovered no fries. Two sodas but neither marked as diet. Husband is diabetic so couldn’t give him either and take the chance it would be full of sugar. Called to let them know the order was wrong. Basically rude. Didn’t even apologize. Told me to call corporate, there’s nothing they can do about their own screw up! Terrible service, rude personnel. Find a different KFC to patronize because this one really doesn’t care.
I waited in line for over 20 minutes, Prior to reaching the window, when placing my order, I asked the lady on the intercom if they had any specials and she rudely replied "nope, we don't have no specials." When I reached the window, I asked to speak with the manager, the lady asked "who are you?" I stated to the lady that I was just a customer and how I wanted to speak with the manager due to how rudely the person who took my order spoke to me and she told me that she took my order and she was the manager and also informed me how she was short staff and that's why she justified talking to me how she did and than told me that I didn't have to eat there (threatening me, not to give me my order). I told her to give me my money back. This manager should not be in the leadership position she has, she's a very very bad manager. I reported this to the corporate office and I will not stop until I hear that KFC has removed her from her position.
I'm not going there NEVER AGAIN. I went to eat inside and had to wait like 15 mnts, mind you, with NO one inside, I was the only one in line. After the 15 mnts they gave us our food & as we are eating the MANAGER starts screaming across the kitchen to a staff member making a whole "movie", not caring that they HAD CUSTOMERS DINNING IN both continue to argue back and forth for about 10 mnts... 🤦♀️ Beside from the wait and the drama, the only good thing in my order was the fries, the rest was so bad I had to throw it out. Its just shameful people waste all the energy fighting instead of cleaning and making sure food is eatable... ughh Omg! Only on killeen!!! 💀😡
This evening around 6 I waited 30 mins for a famous bowl. Along with five other cars, one came before me and the others after me. Customer service has only gotten worse at this location and they will not receive anymore of my business.
When I went I ordered my food and proceeded to the window as told once I pulled up to the window the 1st young lady asked me with a straight face "what do you want?" I told her I ordered food, the next young lady asked me several times if I "ordered at the window" and then she proceeds to ask for my order so I repeat it back to her. I was confused as them because at this point Who did I order through? After a lot of running around I'm initially over charged for my meal which was fixed by the manager. This took way longer than it should have considering I was the only one in the drive through.
I was recently in this KFC today 1/29/2023. I was picking up a uber eats order. In the process of me waiting on the order I saw many things that disturbed me. The first thing I saw was nobody was wearing gloves while handling the food. I watched a young lady take the chicken tenders out of the basket with her bare hands. I also watch the same girl answer the phone drop the phone on the buns she was preparing, instead of getting new buns and discarding those she continued to make the sandwich. That is so UNSANITARY and it made me question this location. If I could give it 0 stars I would but I’m not able to do that.
Drive thru became me walking in to pick up my order, the young guy in front chewing gum. & orders sitting out waiting for pick up with no timers on it. Nope not for me. Then after the fact of waiting for a while the lady tells me its going to be 11min on the crispy chicken to come out.
The potatoe wedges were rock hard and few peices of the chicken were old, and some were soggy, just horrible. Came to get a refund and Tammy the store manager showed no empathy, like she don't care that her employees served old food. Customer service is dead, didn't even care to make it right, she act like I was inconveniencing her. As a store manager customer service should be number one but this manager definitely doesn't care. Definitely done eating here, I never write a review, but i would avoid this KFC......
This place is awful. Depending on which manager is on, your order will either be canceled, or you'll be asked to pull over and wait for more than half an hour. I've witnessed this place lock it's doors 2 hours early, just so people will see the long drive-thru line and go somewhere else. Most recently, I placed an order through doordash, and the restaurant initially refused to fulfill the order, telling the dasher they were waiting on the payment to clear, which makes zero sense, as I'd already paid through the app. After doordash called the restaurant, they finally agreed to honor the order.
They're frustrating when it comes to uber eats. I got a buy 1 get 1 free tender box and they completely forgot the other box. They also didn't put any sauces I had to PAY for, and fries I got were barely half way full. Don't order food from here through Uber eats.
Very very slow and not good service. I went here to pick up an uber eats order and waited over half an hour for just a combo meal. Ridiculous! Not FAST food.
They're so slow and never have enough chicken ready, then tell you the wrong amount of time needed to finish your food. I spent 30 minutes waiting on chicken they said would be 15.
Terrible service and missing half my order on a 4 piece. $11 for a leg and thigh and when I went back they said there was nothing they can do? Never again. Update 3 years later: Tried to give this place another chance, still terrible service and food. Stop making people wait 20+ minutes for food while I watch it hang out on a cold stainless steel table. My original review, the service was terrible but the chicken was cooked well.
Avoid KFC on Veteran's Memorial like the plague. I have given this place it's last chance to do things right. I ordered the $20 box with chicken, fries, nuggets and dipping sauces. Plus, a side of 8 hot wings for my son. When I placed my order at the drive thru, the lady told me they were short staffed and to please have a little patience with them but that we would get fresh food. She seemed quite friendly and genuine and I was not in a hurry so I was good with it. Get to the window (I am the ONLY car in line) and waited about 10 minutes (not too bad). She hands me my food and it feels hot and looks to be correct as there is a big box for the meal and a small box for the wings. Get home and the nuggets that were supposed to be in the boxed meal were actually in the little wings box. In the box I got a few pieces of hot, dried out chicken that were obviously sitting under a heat lamp for entirely too long and sauces. I also had stale, warm fries but that was it. Basically, I did not get the wings that I had ordered on the side for my son. Never again will I go to this trash location. It's the equivalent of dumpster diving for your food.
I went there with my family and order a 8 piece family meal. The older women that was taken my order you could tell was stressed out because of the way that her staff was talking to her. This happened about 3 weeks ago. I went up there a couple days ago and I could hear the drive thru lady talking about this same manager. I asked if she was there and I was informed she quit. Well to be honest I don’t blame her at all for quiting. No one can handle the kids that work there. The other staff treated this manager like she ment nothing to the store. She is the reason I came up there she made coming to the store worth wild. She is the main reason why we came back. Sad to say I will take my business to the store on Stan
Horrible experience. I came in to pick my order. At least 5 employees looked me square in the face and ignored me. After a 10min wait I rung the bell and an employee came up, told me that I have been acknowledged. Then proceeded to take the bell away. I'm not sure what's going on with the customer service here but I won't be back until its fixed.
New review tried this kfc after a long time of not going here because of service and speed. Once again they disappointed. Cancelled order after an hour of waiting. Assume because they just didn't want to make the tender boxes. No reason was given.
This is THE WORST KFC as far as service goes. I ordered a 3peice extra crispy meal but got a 2piece instead and had to wait 10mins for it. Not only that, the guy who bought my food to me had the only attitude. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with this place. Buyers beware. This place SUCKS!
We tried to call in an order and they tell us that they don’t take orders over the phone. That’s a ridiculous policy that makes no sense. It sounds like someone just didn’t want to do their job.
I ordered inside at the kiosk and for some reason all the deliveries and anyone who had come inside after me to order, has received their order BEFORE me and I been here since 4:15pm and it is currently 5:12pm. To say that I’m livid is an understatement. It’s taking everything in me to not jump over the counter and fix my order my damn self. The worker when I showed her my “receipt,” didn’t even know what she was looking at. She thought I had ordered a delivery and refused to give me the cups to make me my drinks. I think im more frustrated because I’m hungry and sitting here waiting as long as I have is stupid.
The line was short but the lady in the drive thru window was rushing which I could understand. But after we paid the all ounce of customer service that we have received completely vanished. She threw both of our orders in one bag and pretty much scooted us away as we were trying to ask why there were 2 to go cups when we only asked for one (was charged for both)....we weren't offered any condiments and didn't get the opportunity to ask. She even forgot my bottle water. I gave this place 1 star because even though the customer service was faulty I did in fact enjoy my sandwich.
Slowest drive thru. Waited over 20 minutes in the drive thru because I asked for fresh chicken. Like were you serving old chicken all day? It should always be fresh. And the drive thru lady got an attitude while taking the order and refused to come back on to give the pricing. Customer service is real poor.
fry chicken was salty and coat was hard to chew, fry oil looks like engine oil. I wish to upload the picture of oil.
I waited in the side parking after ordering 2 meals and a side of 2 biscuits and i waited there for almost an hour! people were getting out of their cars to go in and ask about their food. then after 45ish minutes waiting , we are given our food , and my biscuits weren't even in there! will not be going back for that experience.
The staff at this location is terrible. I walked in to pick up a delivery order. NONE of the staff acknowledged me nor any of the 4 others that walked in after me. After one gentleman’s order was ready, a worker(I assume was the manager because of his red button up) came around the corner, hollered out the name and threw the bag in front of the customer. He started to walk away as the gentleman was speaking to the worker. Customer service training is ZERO and needs to be worked on IMMEDIATELY! Rude. No sense of urgency.

Good Afternoon, Me being the mailman ( FEDERAL EMPLOYEE) on this day delivered thier mail to , 1912 Vet Memorial asked to use the restroom and I was DENIED THE bathroom because I didn't ordered. I told the employee I work on the street and just delivered your mail, The only way to use the bathroom. is whe in have the chance to see one on the route. He responded thier is a McDonald's next door. This is unacceptable they should obviously know who can and cannot use the restroom at this location downtown.
So we went in last night around 7, ordered a variety of food including the hot honey chicken (which wasn’t hot at all tasted like chicken covered in honey which add that to mayo and pickles is beyond nasty) and coleslaw (which was not good) and chicken tenders. Out of the 6 of us that ate 3 of us ending up throwing up that night highly recommend you eat somewhere else.
They give you burnt chicken and expect you to be happy. They have gone down in quality and ip on prices. I would not recommend this place at all cost until management is new or does a quality control for its employees.
The lady giving out the orders was very rude and nasty. She yelled out my order wrong and then caught and attitude while I was trying to tell her I didn’t have 2 of the 2 pc meals. Then she reached in the bag grabbed one of the meals out and walked off. Very unpleasant I understand they were short staffed however that is not how you treat a paying customer. The food also was not good and fried too hard.
Waited 25 minutes in a parking spot waiting for food...to the point that managers were grabbing the customers food straight out the drive-thru window to hand them out in parking lot...ordered a chx sandwich...they didn't fried the chicken for my sandwich so I got offered to replace the piece with tenders...so I asked to just make them chicken Littles thinking it ill be easier on them ..still waited mad long then when I get the food fries were soggy and cold and my chicken little was a piece of bread and chicken...no mayo no pickles no lettuce, nothing. This place just needs good leadership. Even though the managers were cool, still made a crappy experience...I love KFC so on to the next location because this ain't it.
Avoid this location, ordered a simple combo and was asked to park to wait. Waited over 15 minutes and then got attitude when I went to check on the status. Had to wait 10 add'l min after that.
The fried chicken was over cooked, not cleaned properly, and cooked in old oil. The chicken bowl we ordered had only 3 nuggets that had been fried in old oil as well. Had no problem with staff they were polite, but the food was very disappointing.
This location must not respect the brand they sell. How are you going to write who the cook is but use a street name or alias instead of given birth name.
Ordered original chicken 3 PC meal. Chicken was so greasy it made me ill. My husband and I split meal. Fries were so so. Cole slaw was ok. I've had original before and it has never been this greasy. The breading fell off chicken when tried to pick it up. Not sure what happened.
The chicken wings aren't wings there nuggets and not worth a dollar each. Plus the flavor was straight dull. You better off with any other chicken place but stay with Popeyes

Absolutely trash. So disrespectful couldn’t even talk to us without and attitude then tells my man to put me in my place bc I told him not to talk to us like that
This restaurant is absolutely horrible service wise. Of the app says the order will be ready in 5 minutes and the order wasn't ready until 25 minutes. And after waiting for so long the food wasn't even hot and fresh. This is not the first time I've had issues at this location. It will be the last time I go there.
I went into KFC after earning my money that I was happy to spend... & when I walked into establishment, no one had the descency to great me. I said hello immediately & no one responded . After having to explain to older white female manager (wears glasses) that I need to use restroom & afterwards yes I will buy food (bc that was the readon I came). Not my firstencounter w/this female bc Im a regular & she is always working drive thru w/the same nice/nasty attitude. Not very plesant @ all. Dining area was not clean & they had only one customer. No one in drive thru. Plus she intentionally overcooked my wedges so that they came to me dry & withered. I waited on the meal (zero customers) for a while so I know that it was done intentionally. Noooo customers. She might be the reason the store is not thriving as it shoul
So disappointed! I didn't receive all my order, missing the gravy for the 2 mashed potatoes. I saw the advertisement for the fried pickles and immediately was excited to order them. Well, they were so burnt that the pickle crunched like a chip, not the breading the pickle was so old and dry that it was disgusting. Over all the food was old and shriveled up. I didn't go back for a refund or food replacement because. It was obvious by the way the manager just took my money without any type of greeting that she would be unapproachable. It is so sad that I felt uncomfortable that I'm taking it as a loss and I definitely will not ever go to KFC again. I should have driven a little further to the Church's Chicken. It's sad how customers feel uncomfortable nowadays saying anything about terrible food that was obviously past its hold time.
Horribly slow with bad attitudes. They parked every car no matter what. No waiting at the window. They say pull forward or go into a space. There were two parked cars in front of me. No one else in the line from speaker to window. No one behind me. I waited 35 minutes for one combo. When the woman finally brought out my meal, she was walking very slow and texting. Texting with my food i in hand while she walked to my car. She couldn’t even be bothered to apologize for the wait or walk with a purpose. Her phone was too important. Chicken came out crispy and dark (see photo). They forgot part of my order. Sauces were missing. Should be zero stars!
This location is known to have high turn over and my experience today was directly impacted by staffing issues. The drive thru attendant was eager to tell me that she was the only person taking orders and packing the food. I decided to place an order despite her warning of an extended wait. I realize KFC has a made to order policy to a degree. Still no patron should have to cancel plans because of an extended wait for some good ole chicken. There’s obviously some internal problems with staff retention. I hope one day soon this branch can be the part and not just look the part.
Waited for almost an hour for this order. Who won't be disappointed, upset or even get mad if you received this food??? I ordered 8pcs bucket fill up. Well there's only 7pcs in there and they are burnt and deconstructed, soaked in oil!!! Also got undercooked biscuit and soggy fries.. Supposed to get 8pcs nuggets also because they have a promotion that if you spent $20 you get it for free.. I paid for more than $30 for nothing!! KFC need to check their food quality before serving it!!!!
First order of the day, Jennifer screwed it up straight out of the box, cold chicken ordered a 2 piece with thighs, got a led and wing, when I was talking about my order heard nothing but someone laughing in the back ground..... Floors were freshly mopped with dirt from previous day under the tables.
