Just left and the food was great! Killeen roll is my go to roll was referred the roll by the cashier. Kogibowl was tasteful. Best sushi in town! Great staff also clean
I absolutely love it!! This is our second time and with each time it gets better and better. Cj is the one that takes the orders and she is super helpful with the menu and with any questions, so far she has recommended delicious meals.Clint is the one who makes the sushi and he actually went out of his way to make a special request for a California roll we got. This place doesn’t get enough attention and I will definitely recommend it and definitely keep going.
The Kogi Bowl is on a totally different level. I feel like I got significantly higher quality of food than I paid for. I have been here before but this place has definitely pushed the bar up. It was very clean, staff was friendly and only approached us once, making sure our food was good. It was perfect!
Final cost: $16.42 Ordered one Veggie with Tofu. Small Cucumber Kimchi and Sparkling Grapefruit Water As I was waiting for my food, one of the servers brought me some miso soup. This soup was not included on the receipt, so I assume it was complimentary. I thought this was a really nice surprise. It took about 10 minutes for the tofu to arrive at my table. The tofu was cut into small cubes, with a crisp exterior and a semi firm inner texture. These pieces were coated in a sweet sticky sauce along with sliced cabbage and julliened carrots, served with white rice. I enjoyed this meal alot, very delicious. I ate this with cucumber kimchi, which I felt could have used more gochugaru. Overall, it was a very nice meal.
Ohhhh, what a great place! That food was delicious! It came out in a hot porcelain pot that retained its heat throughout the whole meal. The food looks exactly like it does in the fotos and was not over salted. The young guy that brought it out was great too!! My wife said we are coming back again.
Food was really good. Udon noodle bowl was HUGE and very tasty. Proportion sizes were appropriate for the prices charged. The food wasn't crazy off the charts flavorful, but it was all super fresh which made it enjoyable. The restaurant was clean and the staff was super helpful and nice.
First time coming here. Ordered the spicy pork bowl house salad and California roll. House dressing was great. California roll could use more avocado spicy pork was yummy not really spicy though. Other than it taking 15 minutes for the food to come out it was good. Ginger was fresh. I used the house dressing to do my California roll it improved the taste.
Usually order through doordash and have little to no issue but this time it was different. Had lunch kogi fried rice and kogi bento. Found a piece of rubber in my fried rice after two spoons. It was very salty and rice was very dry/hard to chew. Last time when I ordered, it was perfect with zero issues. Lunch bento is a bit cheaper than regular bento but has less gyoza, no cabbage under meat, and possibly smaller portion if anyone wants to know. Additionally, the quality of sushi roll was horrible which was falling off and was very watery for some reason. Maybe a new trainer? Not sure, but I have to agree from other reviews that there is “no consistency in flavor and quality because it depends on who cooks that day…” wish I knew who cooked my food the other day so I can visit only when he/she cooks then 🤷🏻♀️
I mean it was ok, wasn't the best I had. I guess I would have enjoyed it better if them dam Gnats that were flying around drinking all the soy sauce. I literally saw a Gnat fly directly into the Low Sodium soy sauce like he pay rent in that bottle. Im like i dont need NO soy sauce today, im wondering how many were in there🤔 not sure if I would recommend this establishment.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I visited Kogi Bowl with my wife, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered the spicy pork bento, and she ordered the tempura shrimp and vegetables — both were completely bland. The tempura had no flavor, and the pork wasn’t spicy or seasoned at all. While the young lady at the front counter was pleasant, the rest of the experience went downhill fast. As soon as we walked in, one of the employees was sitting down and immediately showed an attitude when he saw customers come in, which gave us a bad first impression. Honestly, I should’ve listened to the bad reviews because they were spot on. This restaurant clearly suffers from poor management, lack of quality, and low standards in customer service. We won’t be coming back, and I’d strongly suggest others avoid wasting their money here.
First time trying and was not impressed the California roll didn’t even have avocado in it and rice was gummy also got ramen with chicken and the broth was a grayish color not appetizing at all, and the chicken reminded me of the frozen cubed chicken from Walmart and the ramen was plain Definitely very disappointing. I tried to call to talk to a manager the guy at the front was not helpful I talked to cook who was nice and said this is how they always did it.
