Very easy to see from the freeway. The minute you see it, it's the next off ramp so move fast. I was happy that they were open and I used the drive thru service. No one was in line at that hour so I got my food quick and hot.

King City store is the friendliest and most service oriented Carl's Jr. I have ever been in going back more than 40 years. It's also clean, which I can't always say about your stores. The staff is extraordinary. Absolutely extraordinary. You should figure out how to clone the King City manager.

My breakfast burger was fresh, and the hashbrowns were crispy and hot, the service at this particular location is excellent, they greet me as soon as I walk into the restaurant, I stop here once a week on my way to San Luis Obispo. The best option, when you are driving by the 101 and you need a bathroom break and grab something to eat.

I was tired & hungry and stopped @King City Carl’s Junior July 23rd, 2024. Super happy I did cuz the cooks made me a great Single Western burger. I got the best one ever. The cooks added just the right amount of BBQ sauce & added mustard for me . Perfect buns (no pun intended) although the staff was very attractive & friendly LOL! Also, well charbroiled beef patties & crispy onion rings. Wrapped perfectly like a Christmas present & delivered promptly to my table. Convenient location and easy to park. They were able to swap out the seed bun with a seedless potato bun with my double cheeseburger. Great service and staff were nice. Also, the bathrooms were clean and seem to be cleaned during the day.

This place is conveniently located right off the 101 Freeway. There are lots of free parking spaces available. The drive-thru window was quick. The staff got my order correct. My burger was delicious as expected.

So, I feel a little weird giving such a good review to a fast food restaurant, but this particular Carl's Jr earned it. I can't believe how good the customer service is here. This is not a shill Yelp review...completely genuine. Wifey and I were driving along the 101, and she had a hankering for some fast food. We just so happened to stop in here. The guy who took our order was very charismatic and cracking actual funny jokes with us. He was extremely polite and gracious. He promised the food would be out shortly. Sooner than later the food was delivered by a different Carls Jr employee. She, too, was extremely polite and helpful. She provided a bit of small talk before she left our table. She eventually came back to our table (along with every other patron in the establishment) to see if we needed anything else. She brought us more ketchup. Then the manager himself walked an order out to a waiting vehicle outside. On his way back, he personally thanked us for dining with them. As for the food, it was what I would expect out of a Carls Jr (fairly tasty; their chicken sandwiches are yummy), but the service made us feel like royalty. Carls Jr corporate should really come to this location to see how customer service is supposed to be like. Kudos to you, King City Carls. Well played, indeed.

The hamburgers were cooked well. The fries were cold. I told them about the cold fries, and they made a fresh batch. No complaints.

Convenient and pleasant stop with easy access from Highway 101; quality fast food; clean restrooms. Even the lower-priced "big hamburger" is a satisfying and tasty snack; the more expensive sandwiches featured in the big pictures on the menu have too much cheese, bacon, sauce, etc. for my taste.

The hamburger is just what I expected. Fast food. Not much more. The fries were good. Service was prompt and they got the order right the first time. The restaurant was very clean, and the bathroom appears to be regularly serviced. This location is conveniently located if you need to charge your EV. There are several within walking distance.

Food was great, but not as good as McDonald's (which it used to be better). The bathroom wasn't as clean as it was the last time I came here (I might have come at a bad time this time?). I really do like the food here though, and I usually like it better than McDonald's, but the fries were a little too soggy this time and the burger was a little too greasy. Other than that, it was a good eating experience. Not a bad 0kave to stop with the family for a quick bite.

We had to have 2 of our sandwiches remade it looked like one of the meats literally ate a bite then made the sandwich… then had the wrong bun. They quickly remade it with no hesitation but I still can’t unsee it :( fries tasted weird so didn’t eat them either. Was not worth $50 for a family of 3.

It's Carl's Jr........you know what to expect Decent fast food. This location the service is always great. Oh BTW.......Super Star is still my go to, with criss cut fries. And this location still has Green Burrito! My wife is a vegan and now Carl's Jr has the Beyond Meat option. So happy they did that. Now my wife and I can both enjoy Carl's Jr!

The Carl Jr Star burger was exactly what I remembered. The grilled chicken was a tad dry. The waffle fry were good and contained one jalapeno popper bonus.

The food is ok, but that's more of a chain problem. Service is fast and somewhat trouble free. It is annoying however, that they occasionally make your sit in the parking lot for your food

It's an ok place to stop to get food off the 101. The food was acceptable and was ready quickly. The service slow but helpful. Breakfast served until 11am. This is not posted anywhere.

The putties weren't the best and it took a long time to get the food but the burgers overall were nice. For some reason the food always comes in a takeway bag which makes you feel like they don't want you to eat there even though there are tables there which just feels wierd for no reason.

Had the unpleasant fortune of witnessing management handle their crew members poorly as a regular of this business I can honestly say the manager Tommee needs to be talk to about both his leadership skills and Customer service after what I have seen I think I would rather take my business else where. Good food. Staff was polite. Tables and Bathroom where clean. Decent stop for a quick bite of you are in the road. People towing beware, this is not a good stop for you. The entrance is very narrow and there is not any good parking for trailers. Getting it was also a pain, you have to go through the shopping center to the other side where there is a light to get out.

Hamburger had so much condiments on it the sandwich dripped. Bathrooms were both unisex and nasty. Service sucked. Won't be back.

The food was practically inedible. The onion rings had so much salt that you could see the grains of salt all of them. Even wiping them off made no difference. The chicken was rubbery and tasteless. The only taste was from the bbq sauce it was drowned in. The hamburger my husband had was just meh. A total waste of $28 for two.

Food tastes oversalted like it sits longer and needs more preservatives. Fast food is just not worth it anymore. It was too expensive. Sheaper to go to a local place for better quality food.

The food is tasty and of high quality but the presentation sucks. Neither the bun or sandwich wrap absorbs condiment so you get it all over your hands and clothes if you don't wrap your burger up with napkins before you try to eat. All the condiment runs off into the wrap and napkins so you don't experience the full flavor of the sandwich and it is dry instead of juicy. The wrapping paper serves no purpose because all the toppings will fall out of the sandwich because the paper doesn't keep the burger stable. Wrap the d**n sandwich up or come up with new packaging.

Went here twice. First on Saturday morning. Waited almost 20minutes for 4 breakfast sandwiches and they tasted bad even for fast food. Next day tried it again and got cold fries and my burger was bland too. Workers seem to not care.

Milk shake came out runny..asked person handling my order at the window if carls milk shakes are usually runny and he said yes...I was told to park up front and wait for my food which I understand..but I started to notice 3 cars get bags of food and even park to eat while we waited for ours...took a couple more sips of my milk shake and ..man it felt like I was drinking straight milk so took it back inside and asked if this is right? a second time..person at register remade it and this time it came out correct..so i guess first person just straight out lied to me...2 more cars at this time had drove off with bags filled with food while I still waited for my waffle fries and chicken tenders...

Went through the drive thru and ordered just a combo and a single burger they had me park they always literally always have you park on the side that's the only part I don't like

Music was super loud, it was really difficult for us to talk during our meal. The bathrooms were locked and they had one person handling the walk-in orders, the drive-thru and also going to unlock the bathrooms.

I can't believe how bad the restroom smelled. It stunk up the whole restaurant and the employees aren't doing anything when three people already complained about it. Even the smell stuck on our clothes. Hard to enjoy the food with the smell of piss in the air.

After waiting 30 mins in the drive thru the got my order wrong not once but twice this is unacceptable

I dont think they can talk spanish. We went and asked for two orders of a spicy chicken and they some how gave us one chicken burger. We went their to talk to them about it and they made us pay for the spicy chickens again. Get better spanish speakers.

Waited 25 minutes for a burger. Asked about it multiple times and was told it was coming. Meanwhile, 20+ cars went through the drice thru. If you're in a hurry (which frankly, what else would you be at a Carl's Jr. in the middle of nowhere for), go somewhere else.

Lagged to take order, forgot to give me the condiments I asked for and didn’t give maple syrup when ordered French toasts?????? Almost a $12 meal and you’d expect them to change their oil in a timely manner. My tenders taste like they were over cooked. You could’ve at least given me fresh fries for having to wait so long. I come here cause of it’s low traffic rate but I see why no one goes. Expensive food at very low quality.

Worst burger I ever had Terrible presentation and tested worse

I usually use the drive thru when I go here, always good service, but today I walked in with some friends to get a to go order. The 3 of them ordered their meals for dine in and I ordered separately since I needed to head back to work quickly, no issues right? We went and sat at one of the tables and they received their food in about 5 minutes, really good time... for them. I figured my order was right behind them so I didnt bother with it and waited for my number to be called. 15 minutes pass from the original order time and still nothing so I decided to go back up to the counter and see what's going on. I waited patiently as there was only one person manning the front, but... I was completely ignored, for a solid 5 minutes. When my order was FINALLY ready, she called my number, which I held out in plain view, and was Ignored again. The person went on to serve another group before acknowledge me, when I asked her why it took more than 20 minutes to get me my order, the response was, "well you see it's just me!". I work in king city and wont be going back to this establishment any time soon, likely wont ever walk in again.

Carl's used to be so good. It's complete trash now. The burgers are so messy it makes eating then hard and gross. The quit so many condiments on that by the time you've got into the middle of your Burger all of your buns are just soggy pieces of dough with a slice of unmelted cheese holding it all together. I begin at several locations... Along interstate 5 in California.... And every single one of them are the same I don't know why I keep going back. But this last visit was definitely the straw that broke the camel's back. I'll never be back again ...so gross.

Horrible experience. Do not waste your time or money! The whole crew needs to improve their service skills. Chelea lacks customer service. She literatly stood there and gossiped with other employees while several people were waiting to order. Managment needs to train their people better and show them how to work together as a team. Also the restrooms are always filthy and tables are never clean. This place gives carls jr a bad name. By far the worst ive ever been to.

Some teenager got my order wrong and they overcharged me for things I did not order. I did not get a refund. The managers employee was rude towards me and denied giving me a refund for something I did not order. They did not even give me the receipt of the things.

Unfortunately I saw a small dead insect on the lettuce on my chicken burger! But the cashier was friendly and they asked me if I want another burger. I was hungry and only ordered potatoes which was good.
