Always an awesome experience and excellent wine. The venue is beautiful with plenty of seating. Everything is conveniently located. We always enjoy going for the Friday night bands during the summer months
Great experience! Beautiful place with super sweet staff. The food was cooked to perfection and came out hot and quick. Great atmosphere to listen to bands, wide selection of wines and very relaxing. Highly recommend!
Super nice place. Great place for getting a bite to eat and bringing your dog lots of picnic tables and area to enjoy the scenery and food. Really friendly staff.
The staff was attentive, professional and courteous, all while adhering to strict Covid-19 protocols. The food was delicious, as was the wine and beer. Both the food and beverage selections are impressive. Another delicious meal tonight, great service, always so friendly and good wine. Excellent music too!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. In addition to their wine they have a wide selection of local beer on draft making it a great destination for both wine and beer drinkers. Food is available on site as well from a separate vendor.
What an awesome place! Good 🍷 and they have an outside barn with live music and a bar. Wish we had something like this near home.
We visited for the Winter concert series in the Barrel Room. Nice atmosphere, staff was excellent, appetizers are delicious, and a nice selection of local craft beers & wines.
Charming vineyard. Good food and really nice staff. Thumbs up the the manager/bartender for great service. One of the must try vineyards in Ithaca.
Great outdoor sitting setup. Friendly service and good wine selections.
One of our favorite finger lakes wineries. Their Chardonnay is one of the few I like. Nice selections, very friendly staff and owner. In the summer, their Friday night concerts are worth going to. Can't go wrong here.
Such a beautiful place and friendly staff. Food was awesome. Wine and wine slushies along with amazing brews was great. They were very happy to have Payton there to perform for them.
Super cute winery with live music, local wines and beers. Lots of places to sit and relax in the yard or under the pavilion. Dog friendly! Highly recommend the pretzel sticks with a beer or wine flight.
Both Cookie’s food and the wine/wine slushees were delicious!! The venue is beautiful and perfect for little get togethers! I also felt very safe because they were clearly making sure to be as Covid-compliant as possible. Would highly recommend on all fronts.
Great winery and excellent venue to relax and listen to live music. The day we visited, it was cool and rainy however they have plenty of space under their barn and tent. Come Friday to have a blast.
Love Treleaven Winery! My husband and I always have a great time when we visit. It's a gorgeous setting, very friendly, knowledgeable staff, great prices, EXCELLENT wine. It's our date night spot! :)
Great wine choices. Lots of flights to choose. Great atmosphere. Outdoor seating. Clean bathrooms. Had a band playing, they were great! Helpful, friendly staff
It's always a great time at Treleaven Wines. Huge parking area with parking lot attendants guiding you. Plenty of seating either undercover or outdoors. They always book the best live bands. Huge stage for the bands and even a bigger area for dancing. Lots of wine and beer to choose from. Food is available but is a bit pricey, so I always eat before I go there. Cooler, etc are not permitted. Super clean bathrooms. Perfect way to spend a summer's evening.
Treleaven Wines feels like coming home every time we visit. The Saltonstall family’s passion for winemaking and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere is felt in every corner of this beautiful winery. Whether we’re sipping wine while listening to live music or relaxing in the cozy Oak Lounge, there’s always a sense of belonging. The wines are fantastic, but what really stands out is the family’s dedication to making each guest feel like they’re part of their story. It’s the perfect place to make memories with loved ones, and we can’t recommend it enough!
Great space for wine tasting, entertainment, and eating. Good selection of dry reds and whites. Service was 5 star.
What a fabulous winery! We loved visiting here on a Friday afternoon. We enjoyed all of their wines, including whites, reds, and bubbly wines! Matthew was the best wine educator, giving us a great description of each wine so we could better enjoy it. Cheers to this winery!
We had lunch and a tasting. The food was all top notch, excellent flavors with everything we tried. Wine tasting experience was also a joy. Our wine tasting guide was casual and so helpful. Definitely recommend a visit if you're in the finger lakes region. One of our best experiences in New York.
We had the best experience ever!!! We had a bridal party here today and had a great time. The staff was so helpful, kind, and accommodating. They really went above and beyond for us! The food is delicious (and they’re one of the few wineries that have full meal options) and the wine was perfection. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend!
Scott knows everything about the area which helped us on our journey around cayuga. Wine was great service was amazing!
Stayed in King Ferry for a long weekend trip and this was a great find for our first night! Simply Cookie food was great (we had the brisket bowl and fried fish tacos). I love that they serve wine and beer to suite any visitor's like! We played trivia and their outdoors space was awesome!!!
Four of us visited. Two of us were very happy they also serve beer of many styles as well as all the great wine and wine slushies (something for everyone). The food was excellent. Everyone was friendly. We learned they have many events over the course of the summer in their absolutely beautiful buildings. It's like finding the field of dreams of wineries! Very special.
Such a beautiful space and winery! They have a great setup to keep people spaced out and there's a really nice tent and pavilion for people to sit under. It felt very organized how you are assigned a table, waited on for drinks and order food from another section. I ordered fish tacos that were delicious & paired it with a sweeter chardonnay. Definitely recommend for a laid back winery with pretty surroundings and good food!
Taryn was an amazing wine expert. My girls and I are visiting from Minnesota and we had a lovely experience with her and knowledge. The wines were tasty and the ambiance was very cute
My friends and I did a tasting with Paige, and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable and personable, while serving beautiful wines. Not my first trip, and won’t be my last, cheers!
Great place. They are always doing new improvement. Dig friendly & kid friendly. I really enjoy their summer concert series. They have many great wines. Plus beers. Saturday evenings they have hot trucks that provides some really good food. Thanks Treleaven for making a family friendly place for all to enjoy.
Above all else, when it comes to local winery cuisine. Top shelf dining experience! It was a delight dining at the Treleaven winery! The entire group of 8 people loved their food. It was very well priced and I praise the chef for putting together an incredible shrimp appetizer dish, an outstanding bean burger, all the gluten free options (kudos on being HIP!) and the killer turkey sandwich! 200% coming back again! The wine was outstanding- the ladies enjoyed many sampling’s and walked away with a few bottles for home. Make sure to sign up to become a wine club member! It’s free and the discount is invaluable - free private sampling, discount on bottles, and notice on new releases
What a lovely place to have dinner and enjoy some tasty local beers and wines. I have only eaten here once but am excited to return. Everything I tried was delicious and it was very nice sitting outside the beautiful vineyard. They have also done an excellent job creating a safe environment during the Corona virus pandemic.
I visited this winery today for an impromptu tasting. My grown sons and daughter in law went with me. We had such a fun time. It was not a busy time and the pourer was able to take her time with us. She was fun, friendly, engaging, and even did magic tricks for us. She was able to answer all our wine questions. We left smiling with our purchases and plan to return for some special events. Awesome staff.
We did the whole nine yards, a wine tasting led by Page, and a great meal with beers. Learned so much about my wine preferences. Went away with 3 bottles! The brisket bowls OUTSTANDING. Overall, wish we lived closer.
Great wines and craft beer. Top it off with Cookies' Kitchen and your day is complete! Beautiful gardens and socially distant seating for outdoor or covered dining and tasting. Staff is absolutely top notch! You must go!
Holiday wine spree 2017 visit: Kay was fantastic!! My husband had not ever been wine tasting, so this was his first experience and she made it welcoming and enjoyable! Excellent experience! The wines were delicious, we bought a bottle of their Apple Mystique and it was delicious! 11.0% residual sugar and perfect for non-wine connoisseurs! Great pairing with their oreo truffle! Great experience and so much fun!!!!
We stopped in right when they opened for lunch and enjoyed the food and wine. It wasn't too crowded yet, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. They were setting up for music while we were there and I can see how it would be a great place to.enjoy an evening. We'll definitely be in again.
Took my girlfriend there last Sunday. The crew there was friendly and helpful and food and wine were amazing! They have excellent covered outdoor seating and take every precaution to protect their customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hosted a small gathering here, and everything was great! Food and wine are excellent and the venue is beautiful. Best of all was the incredibly warm and accommodating staff (special shout out to Monica and Brian). I definitely recommend this winery for events or other occasions.
We stopped in for a tasting on a random Thursday afternoon in April. It was quiet, sleepy and rustic……pure Finger Lakes. Kate patiently walked us through our tasting, which featured six Treleaven pours. I looke liked the Sirah! Also had a nice convo with Mark. I highly recommend Treleaven for a tasting next time you’re on the East side of Cayuga!
Spent the afternoon here on 1/4, had a great time. Amazing service, very family friendly place. Top shelf staff, can’t say enough good things about this place. Great beer and wine.
Our band, ColdFront, played there last Friday evening. We were very excited to play there as what we had seen online gave us the impression it was a really lovely place. It was more lovely than we could have expected. It's about an hour and 20 minute drive from Syracuse proper and that in itself was very calming and peaceful, winding through some lovely little towns south of Auburn. We were met very graciously with open arms buy an amazingly friendly, courteous, engaged and professional staff. The stage and band area are exceptional and a lot of thought was put into supporting the performers needs with regards to space, power, staff support and infrastructure to facilitate the best show you can provide. This is definitely not always the case and when it happens it is most greatly appreciated. The whole venue is well thought out and professionally done. An enormous outdoor dance area, space to sit in the lawn or under a tent/inside the open air building if you prefer. A lovely place to go for kids and adults. The food menu is really quite amazing as well. From simple bar foods like hot dogs and chicken tenders with fries which were excellent, to lovely fruit salad and chicken and rice, pork and rice and vegan and gluten-free options. Really well thought out and professionally and exceptionally done. Think upscale comfort food prepared in a spotless kitchen with a lovely wait staff and professional, modern systems in place makes you feel well supported and like part of the family. Stupendous, eclectic and delicious. The wine and beer menu is extensive although I am not a drinker myself. I didn't meet any staff anywhere on the property that was not smiling and excited serve you and really seemed to love their job and to be there. I personally had the watermelon lemonade and it was off the hook good. Really laid-back, peaceful, lovely vibe and no expense has been spared in making you feel comfortable and welcome. Again a really upscale and homey farm feel, super clean with modern technology for them to serve you the best they can and present their food, beer and wine menus clearly and beautifully. The bathrooms were also an 11 out of 10. Spacious, clean, modern and well-maintained. A true gem of a place to go and see live music as well as just a place to relax and eat or have a couple drinks for ages 1 to 100. A little off the beaten path but well worth the short drive to have a really lovely and well thought out, individual and unique experience. Can't thank you enough for having us we really enjoyed the experience and trust we will have the opportunity to come back and to play for you again. 11 out of 10 overall 🥰
Loved playing outside here! Lots of places to sit in shade or out of rain, band is mostly safe from rain. Great surface to dance on as well! Disappointed very little selection of gluten free food at Simply Cookie now, they used to have wonderful gluten free food!
We really like this place. Alot of Reisling selections which is wonderful for me. Lunch options are a plus.
Beautiful location. Wine slushies were good. Only complaint is that they had a water jug out for free water but they took it away about an hour before the band started. When we asked about it, they said they don't leave it out during the nights that they have music but we could buy bottled water.
We visited the winery around noon on a Monday. We were the only ones there for most of our stay. Our party of Four very much enjoyed a bottle of Semi-dry Riesling and a bottle of Ebullient. We really appreciated the comfortable space with many picnic tables under a tent, Adirondack chairs in the sun, and high bar type tables in the service area. We wanted to buy lunch but the food service is not open on Monday. As a backup, we brought our own food but were told no outside food is allowed, and prepackaged food was available for sale. This was a disappointment. On days when the kitchen isn’t open, we would prefer being able to bring our own snacks rather than to pay for day old sandwiches.
Disappointed in the wine tasting after seeing a 4.7 rating. Most wines seemed watery. The staff person seemed a bit hurried. Huge tents and such so maybe better for busses. Funny to watch bingo participants.
Nice place to visit. Clean bathrooms. Food was good. Except the soda taste weird, almost nasty for some reason. So, may want to pass on that.
Beautiful winery/grounds. Friendly staff. Great music!! $20 cover. Food was terrible. I saw pictures of more appetizing food on FB and Google, but today it was mostly VERY fried foods. There was a $13 mini salad with Fritos served IN A FRITO bag???? Cold fries, not flavorful fruit. So disappointing.
We found this place via google views and thought this worths a visit even though it's not part of our original plan. Turned out we should have kept it that way. I called at 10 and I was told they are open. We showed up a little early, around 10:30 in the morning. Seems like there was a big wedding event last night. The place is quiet and no staff there in the building. We waited for 5 mins for a girl servant to show up. She seems unhappy to see our arrival. We have 6 people in the group, two were not feeling like it and two were pregnant. The servant was not happy with us from the beginning and not sure coz we don't have enough ppl tasting. We ordered the dry and reserved wines. The wines were pretty decent especially the dry whites. Red is okay like other finger lakes winery. However, throughout the entire tasting, there were very little introduction or description from the servant. We tried to have some conversation with the servant but she seemed very rude and annoyed for God knows what reason. The entire experience was terrible even the wine should be good.
If you’re imagining rolling up to Treleaven with a sense of vineyard romance and leaving with a life-changing wine epiphany, then brace yourself — because what you’ll actually get is somewhere between “cute barn vibes” and “why did this cost so much again?” Let’s start with the wine: beyond a few pleasant moments, most bottles taste like they were concocted in a lab where ambition met budget. Sure, the reds try (and the occasional Riesling isn’t embarrassing), but they’re more “decent backyard barbecue partner” than “show-stopping dinner guest.”Now let’s talk pricing, because this is where your wallet might actually cry. The Meritage — nominally a ~$27 bottle — mysteriously becomes a ~$35 bottle by the time tax and subtle winery creativity are applied. Service can be… inconsistent. Some hosts are charming, others make you feel like you just interrupted their lunch break. And when you ask about the wine’s backstory? Sometimes it feels like they’re making it up as they go. But hey, the location is pretty, the barn has character, and the music vibe isn’t bad (especially if you like paying cover fees on top of everything else) Final Verdict: 🍇 Wine quality: More “nice try” than “nailed it.” 💸 Value for money: Somewhere between “Wait…” and “What did I just pay for?” 😄 Would we go back? Only if someone else is buying. In short: Treleaven delivers pleasant enough grape juice — but at a price that makes you wonder if you accidentally bought a private island instead of a bottle of wine. 🍷😂
