Masa Midtown

We love Masa!! Our drinks included a whiskey sour, which was incredible. I'm gluten free, and the chicken shawarma (listed as GF) was deliciously spiced and filling. My husband got a Turkish flatbread, which he loved. We ended with a panna cotta and a Turkish rice pudding, both of which were not too sweet and very flavorful. Our new favorite spot in Kingston!

Went for a private party - around 40 people. They just brought out food for us and everything they brought out was delicious. Would recommend frequenting this establishment just for the food. Also had some excellent Turkish red wine.

Had a Turkish dinner, it was really good, enjoyed the Meze Vegan platter, specially the babaganoush - smoky and delicious, and they served fresh hummus.

Everything was so delicious! We had the salmon tagine, mustard b:orek, wine, and spicy sujouk hummus. Also had a small complimentary snack when we arrived.

Masa was an unexpected stop on our trip that quickly became an unforgettable highlight. The food was authentic and the owners were genuine. You could taste their passion. The dishes were perfect for sharing and extremely well priced. A cannot miss!

One rainy gloomy afternoon our friends suggested we all go up to Masa in Kingston. It's a Turkish restaurant and I have to say the meal, the location, the ambiance, the drinks, appetizer, service and dessert were outstanding. All of us raved and here's the list of what we had: Swinging Sultan cocktail, for appetizer we had a mix of whipped feta, roasted beets, sauted arugula and nuts along with bread for dipping. Main meal we had "Kofte Pita" which was a meatball in pita and a tahini sauce (I am sure I am missing some other ingredients); Chicken Shawarma, and "Kavides Guvec" which was shrimp baked in a clay type container. For Dessert we had an eclair, lemon tart and a sort of russian cream with mandarin organges on top. I HIGHLY recommend.

Hidden gem @ Kingston. You can experience authentic , delicious Turkish food , great service in a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend all appetizers, main courses . We were very lucky to taste the Cig Borek on their daily specialty .

Masa is definitely one of those places where you’re already planning your next meal as you’re finishing the first. Definitely a must-try! Every dish we tried was a standout—rich, vibrant, and packed with fresh ingredients. This spot is a total gem in Kingston. The variety of dishes is impressive and I highly recommend their soups (Chorba is my fav)!

This has become my favorite restaurant in Kingston. The more I eat here, the more I want to return. The food is unbelievably delicious and fresh. I highly recommend it, and I’m quite picky about where I spend my money. I feel like I am a guest at someone’s home when I eat here. You can tell how much love and care is put into the food. The two sisters that run this place are such friendly and welcoming people. I will be back soon!

Every single dish is amazing and the owner is so welcoming. Brunch on Saturday is also so good. This is my new favorite restaurant in Kingston, so grateful for it!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was amazing. Really thought the bill was going to be sky high but it was very reasonable. Two people, apatizer, meal, drinks, dessert and coffee for less than $90! Where can you get that anymore? Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

My boyfriend and I decided to try some Turkish food and we did a pick-up order. I got the Falafel Platter and he got the Chicken Shawarma Hummus Bowl and we both got the Éclairs. We were not at all disappointed. The food was so good. The falafel was crunchy outside and soft inside and with the taziki dip made it even better. The chicken shawarma was so good too. When we went in to pick up our order the owners happened to be working the counter and they were so humble and was so appreciative of our business. I love a restaurant with a family atmosphere. Inside was cozy. I will be taking my family here for dinner because it was a wonderful experience. 100% recommend giving this place a try to anyone.

The food was delicious. The service was adequate and unobtrusive, and the atmosphere was celebratory with a boisterous event featuring an operatic outpouring which everyone applauded.

Whew, where do I start? Everything on the menu is amazing, Fresh and made with love. My favorite things to get have been the chicken Shawarma plate As well as the Fall Fetteh🔥 I also enjoy their fries with feta and the falafels! So much flavor

We were welcomed by a very friendly staff, and we enjoyed chatting with her. I had Kofte pita sandwich, my friend had baked shrimp. My kofte sandwich had lots of vegetables, kofte tasted very authentic. Fries are fresh, and I liked tahini sauce. (My friend didn't like the sauce, but its personal preference. ) My friend's baked shrimp, looked good, but I didn't try, because the portion was kinda small. They make good cocktails, too! We would definitely come back and try other dishes and cocktails :-)

We loved dinner at Masa, a Turkish restaurant in Kingston that's run by two sisters from Brooklyn. One is the chef and the other is the pastry chef. It was recommended by a chef friend who lives in Kingston as her favorite restaurant in town. It's also reasonably priced, which is rare these days. Very good food and innovative delicious pastries. We loved the mezze platter. I've eaten the same offerings at many other restaurants and these were some of the best I've had! Other standouts were the eggplant with pine nuts and the meatballs. We were stuffed but took pastries to go. They make a baklava cake with phyllo baked into the cake. So good! Also the chicken borek! The lemon filling in the lemon tart with tahini could have been more acidic to balance the tahini, but the tart shell was lovely.

Came here for brunch yesterday, Everything was great! Felt like I was back in one of my dads family’s homes eating a home cooked middle eastern spread! All our food was spot on! (Turkish egg,Tomato salad, potatoes, ground beef with tomato pepper and onion flatbread, stuff meat potato and spinach puffs). Thank you so much, definitely will be back for a dinner.

This place is sooo good!! They started doing cafe hours 11-3 Wednesday through Saturday. Thank goodness!! My lover and I went for brunch on Saturday and loved everything. We wanted to eat the whole pastry case. Really hoping they expand their hours so we can go whenever we want. Go here.

Went to Masa for an office holiday party and had a great experience. I rated the atmosphere four stars only because we were the only group there at the time, so it felt a bit quiet — otherwise everything was excellent. The food was fantastic. Our party menu featured mostly finger foods, all fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. We had a crisp salad, tender chicken kabobs, several varieties of hummus, and a number of dishes I wasn’t familiar with — but every single one was delicious. I definitely went back for seconds (and thirds!). The bar was well stocked, and I appreciated the nice selection of local brewery beers. I’m looking forward to returning on my own to enjoy the full dining experience.

Delicious food and warm service! The zucchini fritters are amazing! Was slightly disappointed with the Moroccan Carrot Salad, which turned out to be just regular carrot salad. There was some confusion with our order and our bill, but it was all handled graciously. Check out the market, too!

The food is quite good. We were very disenchanted by the service, though. My partner didn’t receive his meal until the rest of us were finished eating, even after multiple requests for it. The server never checked in on us for drinks or otherwise, even when he finally delivered my partner’s meal. There was also no acknowledgment of how poor his service was. I think my partners meal should have been comped, or maybe he could have apologized? We will not bother returning here.

Food is fine, staff is extremely uneducated in the cuisine they’re serving.. I hate to do this as a service industry worker myself, however I called and asked if they serve butter chicken and the girl giggled and said they “serve shawarma but there’s no butter on it” two totally different things, but that’s okay. Moving on also got the hummus and asked for pita bread, they insisted it was in the bag, there was bread.. but not pita lol room for education and improvement for sure

Sad to say we had a terrible dinner here last night. I'd made a reservation in the dining room, but we were seated in the bar at a table next to a drafty door in front of a window streaming direct sunlight into our eyes with no curtain or shade. It was 20 minutes before a server appeared. Another 20 minutes before our drink order arrived, "San Pellegrino" that was just selzer from the fountain. OK, fine, but it was also flat. 40 minutes in and no bread or food of any kind provided. We'd ordered an $18 appetizer, "all the greens" flatbread, which was supposed to have brussels sprouts and a bunch of greens but was just a very thin layer of chopped broccoli florets. OK, fine, but itt arrived after the main course for some reason, more than an hour after we were seated. The table next to ours had just received falafel and it looked good, so I'd ordered the falafel platter but was told 15 minutes after ordering that it would be an additional 30 minutes for falafel. So I ordered the squash meze and some fries. After another long wait, my partner's shrimp arrived all by itslef in a thin red sauce with a serving fork. Another 10 minutes to get the server to bring a spoon to serve the shrimp over rice, which my partner didn't want to eat alone since it was the only food on the table and I don't eat shellfish. The spoon finally arrived along with my squash, an hour and twenty minutes after arrival. We weren't in a rush, but we were hungry and had been looking forward to a great meal, which clearly wasn't happening. The squash was tasty but had been microwaved; the edges were hot, but the middle was refrigerator cold. The fries were average. We both just wanted to get out of there.
