We stopped in for dinner from a recommendation from the front desk manager at our hotel across the street. When you walk in, you order at the kitchen door and then grab a drink at the bar, pick a table and relax. As I was reviewing the menu inside, two local patrons told me you can’t go wrong with the patty melt. So I ordered one with fries. I’ll be honest, this was one of the best patty melts that I’ve ever had. That thick, juicy, locally sourced hamburger was outstanding along with the grilled onions, cheese and grilled rye bread just melted in my mouth. The fries were ok, nothing special. Loved the vibe in the bar along with all of the dollar bills on the ceiling. All of the staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend - check them out.
Nestled next to beautiful tree-covered hills, this eatery has that cozy inviting feel that makes you want to stay awhile. We ordered a chicken sandwich and a pastrami sandwich, both were juicy and stacked just right. The cocktails are very reasonably priced, we had one priced at $5! This place is also a playground for grownups, with pool tables, darts, and a fun atmosphere that keeps the good times rolling. Look up, and you will spot dollar bills on a portion of the ceiling, it might have something to do with the tradition of pinning dollars to the ceiling as a good-luck charm. The staff is super friendly, making you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. Great food and great people!
What a great place to eat. We were advised to try this place because their food was so good. OMG their food is amazing! We liked it so much we went back for a second time. Everyone from the owners to the employees to the people who came to visit or dine in as regulars were so nice. This place has a great atmosphere a homey feeling and just a place you want to continuously go back to and enjoy the company. If I can give this place 10 Stars I would. Thank you for the great hospitality. This place is a must try when you visit Klamath!
Came in for lunch on my 21st not expecting much, bartender gave me my first drink on the house and a kind fella at the bar bought me one as well. Very friendly atmosphere. I ordered a burger and it was seasoned so well. That was probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’ve thought about that burger ever since and decided i had to leave a review. Very delicious food and lovely staff :). If you aren’t 21 to enter they have a place to walk up and order at the entrance.
My wife and I dropped by and ordered take out, and it may be one of the top burgers I've had in a long while. The burger was one of the first ones I've had where I actually felt satisfied and full after eating it. The fries were beautifully prepared and I was very happy to learn that they naturally come with the burger; no need to purchase them separately. I cannot speak for the bar, but as far as the food goes, they are killing it. I hope I can make it back out again one day.
Best burgers in the area. So many locals pointed me in the direction of this burger place and it was great. Half pound patty of grass fed local beef. The only thing different is that drinks even soda came from the bar so I had to go in for that. The burger was amazing though. Customer service was great as well.
Big, fresh juicy bacon jalapeño cheeseburger and crisp yummy garlic fries. Friendly staff and quick service. Limited menu but they ran out of burgers a little after 7pm on a Friday! Clean bathroom-ladies definitely check out the wall art lol.
OMG this was the best burger I’ve ever had! At first we were hesitant to eat there as it didn’t look appealing from outside (it was closed and only offered take away from the outside window) but it was the only place open around there at the time, so we tried anyway. The ladies working there were nice, and the burgers..SO YUMM. Prices have gone up a quiet from what you can see in menu section - it’s about 16-17$ per meal (burger comes with fries). We hiked about 14 miles that day and were super hungry but the burger was so huge we were very full afterwards. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.
Awesome place! Great vibes, friendly people and good food. Lots of old dollars bills on the walls and ceilings. You can play darts and pool here as well.
Our family opted to eat out while staying near in Orick, and one of the park rangers we met at the visitor center recommended this restaurant. The hamburgers are large and I believe the lady at the window mentioned that it's 8+ oz patty. It was nice to see other options like Calamari and Mozzarella sticks on the menu. You have an option to have potato salad instead of french fries for your burgers. By the time, we sit down to eat our burgers, we thought fries were a bit soggy and not as crisp as we hoped for. I wondered if the fries have been cooked before our burger were finished and it set inside the paper bag and became less crisp and hot. I think if you are dining inside the bar, I'm certain that you would get hot crisp fries. Mozzarella sticks were enjoyed very much but 2-3 sticks (out of 6 or 7 sticks) were hollowed inside which is understandable. We enjoyed the burger very much and we thought this place is worth making a short trip from Prairie Creek Redwood State Park in the late afternoon. It looks like the whole town is thriving when fishing season starts. And it used to be named as Rods & Reels, but now it just simply being called Burgers. Since we're visiting, we just drove by without realizing it doesn't have a big signage indicating that it is a restaurant (in this case, it's a bar). I believe under 21 is not allowed to dine inside as the kitchen serves both the bar patrons and through the window. There is a picnic table just around the corner. I recommend the picnic tables by Yurok Country Visitor Center (behind the stadium seats, hidden from the road) which is just a few steps from this place.
Love the vibe, love the food. Go get yourself a burger. I got them two nights in a row and the quality was great. Get. A. Burger. And try that horseradish sauce, it slaps.

Don't let the modest building fool you. We stopped in for lunch on a road trip through Oregon. It's an interesting setup with a separate kitchen that cooks the burgers and all drinks come from the bar. The staff was very friendly and the burgers were amazing! Highly recommended
Great food and great service. Came here for a bite to eat and to watch the football game. The burgers were thick and flavorful, the pickle chips came with homemade ranch, and the drinks were very reasonably priced. I will come back when I’m back in town.
I love staying away from chains and getting recommendations from local people for restaurants. This place did not disappoint. It's a bar, and a grill. We went on a weeknight, and there were only about 5 people in the place. Its casual. You get your drinks at the bar and order your food across the room at the grill. the bartender was friendly, a football game was on the TV and the locals were welcoming. The cook also was friendly and helpful. the burgers we got were great and also BIG! A Woodstove in the back kept the building warm, which was appreciated as it was cold and rainy when we were there. The cook told us that they must have been mentioned in an international travel site, as during the summer they had groups of travelers come from Germany, France etc. It was a perfect place to relax have a drink and a burger!
This place is an absolute must stop! We were a party of 6 and everyone agreed that these were the best burgers we’ve had in a long while. Don’t be put off by the no frills environment; the burgers are perfectly cooked and full of flavour, with fresh toppings and crispy fries. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates a solid burger without the fuss!

Ordered vegetarian choices - Cheese sandwich with vegetables and Garden Jalapeño burger... both of them tasted amazing. The counter service from outside was cool and the ladies were very kind and gentle. Loved this experience.
Only restaurant in town that was open and recommended by the hotel staff. Good burgers and fries and we got it to go to take back to our hotel to eat. Sorry no pics of the food as it was all wrapped up and though tasted good wasn’t very presentable. Family run and it appeared as if it was three generations working there! Definitely worth a try!!!

One of the only food options in that area located inside a bar. The ambient is nice but the food is average. Took quite a while to get is as well despice not many customers.

Took our food Togo as there is one picnic table that was being used. Ladies were friendly, they do each order at a time. So took 15 minutes to make our order. Burger and grilled cheese were nothing to rave about. Large portion of fries but they couldn’t eat them so ended up being thrown out.

The waitress knew I wasn't a local (it matters out there), and I spoke over her a few too many times, thus getting service colder than my tepid tap water. The food was okay, but the icy snark wasn't fun or even clever, it was just curt, and one step shy of being mean-spirited. Won't be going back there, and neither will the friend who took me, who said it was 'sketch' to begin with.
