I believe the gentleman's name was Rico. He was working the register and it was my first time visiting Torchy's. He was very patient with me and explained in detail my questions about the menu. He also brought the food to my table. He was very personable and made sure that I was happy with order. He also, has a great sense of humor. Which was nice to have that type of interaction ti brighten my day considering thr type of day I was having. I will definitely be stopping by the next time passing through and hope to see Mr. Rico again. P.s. Loved the Christmas socks! Showing g his Christmas spirit.

I picked up an UberEats order from here and the moment I walked inside all the staff was super friendly. Sean was super awesome and so helpful. He even helped me carry the order! Also, the girl I spoke with was so nice and had everything packed and ready to go and let me know what was what. Kind of jealous they're in Kyle, but I will be back to this store for my own food just because of the atmosphere and staff. Thanks Sean!!! Go see them y'all, I hear since I've been to Torchy's they've added some DAMN GOOD items :)

We visited Torchy's Tacos in Kyle for dinner on Friday. The Trailer Park Tacos, 'trashy-style', delivered a satisfying mix of crispy chicken, creamy queso and fresh toppings. The side of salsa added the perfect kick without overpowering the scrumptious flavors. Plus the chips and queso were an excellent appetizer. Overall, the meal offered great value and was well worth the price. Our server, Dakota, was friendly, attentive and made excellent suggestions. He checked in after our food arrived to ensure everything was to our liking. The casual vibe was a perfect setting for a Friday night. Overall, a delightful experience—definitely coming back!

Always love coming to this location. We stopped in for a Sunday breakfast date and everything was great! Kloey, our cashier, was friendly and very helpful with suggestions when we couldn't decide. She even came and cleared dishes off to give us more room. Food was very very good! Lauren, the bartender, was attentive and checked on us too. We were definitely well taken care of!

I probably come here once or twice a week, even if it's just for some chips & queso and an iced tea. The staff is always super friendly. Special shoutouts to Dakota and Kaitlyn. All the staff is friendly, but both of them go the extra mile to be super personable as well. Always make you feel extra welcome to be there.

Fantastic flavor combinations--I got too busy eating to take a pic of the tacos--but the way they package up your to-go order with the sauces and toppings on the side keeps away the soggy disaster you're used to! Thr Mexican Street corn was delightful & their great non-alcoholic drink flavor combos offered some dynamite flavor. Bonus: if you're not driving, they have bar drinks...to go!

You order as you come in and food is brought to you. I love the avocado 🥑 taco. The democrats are very good too. They do have adult drink specials during happy hour 3 - 6 pm.

We love this new location..... I'm still going with the Republican over the Democrat.... Especially when I going out to eat with a liberal friend 💯💯💯 The design of the building is super cool also. Service is quick and always has a high standard of quality. Parking is easy and it's nice to have a location like this right off of I-35 !!!

Sean was great, took our order and was everywhere. Cleaning tables and bringing out more chips really quick. The only thing that I had an issue with was the chips and queso coming out halfway through our meal. But I won’t take that out on Sean’s review!

Came in during the week around 6pm. We sat at the bar. Bartender was overwhelmed and service was slow. Tacos ordered came out fast and we're very good. Drinks were good but due to slow service, we decided not to reorder and move on to another bar. Place is new and looked clean. Will give them another try.

This is the second time I’ve been here and things have been left out of or incorrect with my to-go orders. It’s on me for not checking the bags before I leave, but it makes me hesitant to do any to-go orders in the future. The food is good, service needs a little improvement.

As a lifelong torchys fan I am super disappointed in the decrease in quality. They no longer use fresh eggs for breakfast tacos, the meat is sparse, service is slow, and the tortillas are not toasted. And of course, prices have increased. All around a lackluster restaurant now instead of an Austin classic. We ordered the steak and eggs breakfast taco and it came with this tiny piece of meat.

We come here often. Today the service was all around poor. The cashier was disengaged. The bartender wasn’t watching her tickets and instead talking to a friend. We had to walk to the bar to point out the drink ticket after our food arrived. The queso came out very cold and disgusting. When we mentioned it to the food runner, he stuck his finger in the queso right in front of us and turned around and walked away. He brought out some queso that was warm, but still not as hot as usual. At this point, we were not comfortable with the sanitation of the Food Runner. Torchy’s has always been expensive and barely justifies its pricing when things go perfectly. When they go this poorly, it just leaves you feeling angry.

Service was timely and friendly. I don't particularly care for most of the Torchy's locations just because it's so loud. If you want to have a conversation with the person you're dining with, you'd best be prepared to sit outdoors. This was my first time at this location. My food was absolutely disgusting. My fried chicken tacos were for some reason water logged... It was foul. I was having a quick work lunch with my boss, so I didn't want to make a bad impression. In any other circumstance, I would've sent the food back and requested it to be remade. Watery liquid dripped from them making them difficult to eat. I couldn't eat the second one because the tortilla had completely deteriorated. My boss sent her order back immediately because they had made it incorrectly (she ordered pork, not chicken, corn, not flour tortillas). It's an expensive place to eat for how bad the quality is. Wouldn't recommend.
