Mike’s Classic Burgers in La Mirada is one of my favorite go-to spots for a great flame-broiled burger! 🍔🔥 The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. I also highly recommend their breakfast menu — it’s just as solid as the burgers! The vibe is casual and welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends or grabbing a meal with family. Literally local staple for us. We have been in the neighborhood since 2005 and Mike’s has been a mainstay for all those years. The hard shell beef tacos are stupendously delish. Today I got a large chili cheese fries. (I added the cilantro and diced onions as well as the pickled habanero onions) @Mikes highly suggest you offer these as options. Service is always fast and courteous. This is a spacious diner if you want to meet up with friends after a bike ride or Saturday morning for coffee. Wish they sponsored a car meet up on the weekend. Plenty of parking for that. Anyway the food is consistently good. Not trendy off the charts, but stable good local fare.

We came by for dinner and it wasn’t too busy yet. It reminds me of an old dinner with regulars that eat there. It was my first time dining inside. My friend has been here many times. His go-to is the tacos. The Gyro was good with lots of tzatziki sauce, diced tomatoes and onions. The pita was soft and the meat was tender. It can be a bit messy. The fries were crispy. You have to pay for ranch but it’s worth it. The chef salad is huge. You’ll probably need two containers of dressing. I’d probably go back and try some of their other dishes.

As far as Burger joints go, this place was good. Clean, not crowded and friendly. The burger I had was the burger with bacon and avocado. I liked that they were able to make that into a protein style burger. It however, lacked flavor. I'm glad I got bacon because that gave the burger the salt it needed. The avocado was cut in big chunks, which made it hard to eat. Slices would've been so much better. The fries were nice and crispy 👍. We sat outside which was actually really nice. I give it one thumbs up. It was ok/good.

One of the best place to get home fries...good place for breakfast ... I like the El Dorado and the Ranchero omelet also the shrimp basket they serv good portions employees are very courteous and nice some actually remember you

Been coming here for years recently moved so dont come as often was in the area and decided to get my usual order to my surprise the prices had gone up but the quality of service and the food isn't the same prices went up and food quality went down. Really disappointed 😞

Have been going to Mike's since my favorite place closed and was sold. Food is not bad here! Close but definitely not as good as my old place J's Grill . There is a good menu . But the prices are on the pricey side. Especially the sodas $3.90 for a medium self service soda. And did have entree also. Will Think twice next time before I visit Mike's. Did try Mike's Burger again but was very disappointed about being asked twice while I had food in my basket and still eating . If I was done! Thought it was a little rude. Should wait till guest leaves. Will not be back. Also way over priced. Think twice before going there.

This is ridiculous again with this breakfast burrito yesterday I went had the normal size and again so much rap to make the look big when I just talked to the owner that they will correct it that means your word don't mean anything.. poor management.. not happy yesterday was perfect today's was like a kids size..

I’ve been here a few times., years back., Food was OK. Today I ordered taquitos with guacamole. That’s three rolled up fried tacos made with corn tortilla and meet inside., Taquitos were topped with cheese and their so-called fresh guacamole.Taquitos are supposed to be crunchy because they’re fried of course they’re gonna be crunchy.,so I take my first bite., taquito was not fresh., still tasting…, The guacamole is not your original Mexican style guacamole it’s more like a salsa base green sauce if I may,. I was super hungry, had one and half of the second taquito. the 3rd I left and decided to take a few pictures so you can see the Presentation of taquito topped with cheese,guacamole sauce. The picture Clearly shows sauce based guacamole definitely not authentic, I unraveled the fried corn tortilla so you could see I’m not exaggerating that the taquitos were not fully cooked/fried as you will see the tortilla was not fully fried. I usually don’t go back to complain however I decided to go back. Yes! It was that bad. Do not recommend taquitos Dorados “hard shell rolled up tacos with guacamole topped with cheese and guacamole based sauce “. I know it’s a hamburger place not a real Mexican restaurant and I know they’ve been in business for a long time so perhaps stick with the hamburgers. Though I’ve never had there hamburgers here., but knowing they have been here for a long time and the place seemed smooth pace traffic. Something must be good here?. Will I be eating here again? Most likely not after I told manager that I wanted him to see the taquito not being fried making tortilla taste stale and guacamole is a salsa sauce and had an attitude. Told the manager that I wasn’t back to get money back but to let them know and see that the tortilla wasn’t fried all the way and the food was cold and had an old rancid taste to it. Hopefully they will correct it. ………….FYI………………. ***** if you want taquitos dorados with real guacamole/ fried rolled up corn tortilla with meet inside, authentic guacamole try SR. Pepe’s or Molca Salsa Crunchy and fresh******** any Sr Pepe’s all locations are consistent Molca Salsa is located on Whittier blvd border line la Habra and Whittier. They are open 24/7
