Great place to have a private bday party we loved Greg Roy reggae music. They did a great job catering and the bartenders were awesome.

Staff was very friendly and constantly running around doing things, no lingering, always working so the service was great and quick. I had their Philly and it was deliscious. The cherry peppers were a little Spicer than I like so I removed some, chopped a couple and spread it on top to reduce the burn 🔥! Would definitely visit this establishment again.

I haven’t been here in awhile but I was drawn back in because Mr. Parker made lasagna and not only was it amazing, the portion was huge! I have never had a lasagna so delicious. Thank you Mr. Parker and the amazing staff behind the bar. I apologize for not remembering your names.

Just had The Volcano. Special on Monday you should not miss if you like tuna, seaweed salad, wasabi and more. Outstanding. Dad had the Pastrami on rye - also a Monday special - chock full of tender pastrami on rye - tender & tasteful. Wish I thought to take a picture of the volcano before I destroyed it - yum! Great ambiance.

Very much enjoyed our cocktails and lunch. It was entertaining to see the full slice of watermelon arrive on my cup. One of the best flavored burgers I've tried lately. Definitely going to go back for that. The chicken salad wrap was just what I wanted on a hot summer day after the beach.

Best place to have a party. I had the Greatest graduation party ever. Owner Kim Fowler and her staff of awesome people including chef Josh did an amazing job putting together my nursing school graduation. We were able to have amazing singers, food and drinks. We come as group, every Thursday night. Helen, our bartender and server, is absolutely over the top amazing. She’s very attentive. She works very hard. And she is always calm, pleasant and welcoming! We Love the Tiki!

Colorful, spacious place with a big U shaped bar and lots of high tops! The bartender was so friendly! Wish I remembered his name. I took the SunRunner bus from downtown to a stop just a couple blocks away so that was pretty convenient! The ground beef tacos (for Taco Tuesday) were great! Fresh, covered with shredded cheese with a side of spicy sweet cucumber salad. I loved the variety of hot sauces! Cholula, Old Bay hot sauce (didn't know that was a thing!?) and Carolina. There's a whole other menu for Tuesdays. I'll be back! $5 margs on Tuesdays too.

My bf and I came down to the beach for a different restaurant that we ended up not liking and coming here and glad we did! We got margaritas, taco bites and boneless chicken. The Margaritas were perfectly made. The food was excellent. The service was fast and friendly. The vibe was super chill. Loved it and will definitely be back.

I love this place. The owner has a heart of gold and and is always partnering with local charities to help out. Staff is nice and quick to help. Drinks are solid, food is tasty, free parking, lots of great bands and other fun activities like trivia nights, etc. All decent pricing. What’s not to love?

Went for music bingo and had a great time! We had about three servers taking care of us and it's good to know they all take care of each others tables instead of getting " your server" to take care of an issue or request. They took VERY good care of us and my picky buddy was very, very happy with his sandwich! He wasn't thrilled with the french fry change, but they looked fresh cut to me! Quick update and shout out to the owners for allowing us to have a very special event at their awesome establishment! Chris would be honored and probably feels bad about the whole french fry thing (he was always such a picky damn eater) and we are all happy with how the afternoon went. Thanks a ton for everything!!

This is exactly what Corey Ave needed! Love the openness, big TVs and tables, and the service is great! The tuna dishes were really yummy, but also the tater tots. Lol

We are locals and have not tried this place before. We'll I wish we would have come sooner. Went to see live music and get some bar food. I was pleasantly surprised when we ordered the pot stickers. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned. WELL DONE KITCHE. STAFF. i also ordered a Nashville chicken sandwich and it was also perfectly cooked and seasoned and served on a soft and tasted brioche bun. Sauce was homemade and had wonderful flavor. Overall I was stunned at the culinary experience we had. We were there on a very busy night and let me tell you, they know how to handle large crowds. Bartenders were some of the most efficient bartenders I have ever seen. John Taffer woukd be proud LOL. Definitely will be back soon. Don't miss this special place.

Very nice bar. Pretty sure I was drinking some of their flavored Margheritas. Very tasty and very tipsy. Always go with patron. Ordered the Velveeta bacon cheeseburger on a pretzel roll.. *chefs kiss.. sooo good. They have a cool vending machine that vended mystery boxes/bags with several different labels on them. Can't think of any right now, but they were adult themed. I lost my bank card in north Carolina omw down to florida from Pennsylvania so money was tight.. or else I would've spent $200 easily on this machine. Not sure if that's a good thing or not.. guess it's a mystery. Go to this bar, drink Margheritas, eat their burgers, and get weird sex stuff out of their machine

I stopped by for a quick lunch after a haircut and was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful experience. The Triple Sliders (BBQ) and Crab Eggrolls were absolutely amazing! The food not only tasted great but also came at a fantastic price. The atmosphere was fun and energetic, creating a lively dining experience. I must commend Amy for her exceptional service; she was constantly on the move and did an outstanding job despite the busy crowd. I'll definitely be returning to this place.

Adorable place we just discovered. We bought tix for "Taste of the Beaches" & had their ribs w/ rice. Very good; sauce was great. The owner/ cook had a bunch of Specials that looked more interesting than the normal menu. She plans to change a bunch of things on the menu, so hopefully some of those specials will be showing up. We plan to go back.

In response to Nicole and Nikki's posts: The boyfriend/husband was extremely drunk and acting obnoxious. He was shouting at the Bandingo guy to play a certain tune!! It's a freaking game, not an 'all request' show. When he didnt get what he wanted he decided to throw a metal, spiked, paper towel holder at the Bandingo guy (Johnny G), which missed him, but almost hit a patron sat at another table. That is when Johhny G basically called the drunk a few cuss names (deservedly so, by the way). After someone tried to calm the drunk down, he left and decided to harass people outside the bar That is when the Sheriff's Department was called. Please don't let these 2 negative posts deter you from going to the Twisted Tiki. Great place with good food, drinks, and excellent service

Very laid back atmosphere. No hostess. Just sit where you want. Menu is pretty straight forward. We had the Nauti Nachos and some soup. They had lobster bisque and chicken with rice. Servers are busting it all day, it seems but we're very attentive. Nice spot to eat between shopping today.

Super fun Motown review group playing and the place was on fire. Dancing, drinking, laughing - everything you need for a night out. We will most definately be back.

I started visiting this establishment regularly when I am in St. Pete. I live in Kentucky so I don’t get to visit often. The food is always fantastic! The atmosphere is fun! The drinks are always amazing! The staff is always friendly and go above and beyond. I’m assuming the bad reviews are from some crazy drunk idiots. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

The menu was so good we couldn’t decide what to eat. The Kokonut shrimp was really good. I had a Greek salad with chicken that was very tasty. My husband had the sliders and he loved them. Our drinks were tasty and delicious and the bartender was interactive.

Went there Friday, December 5th. The band playing was called "One Night Stand" and they lived up to their name. Only see them one night and be drunk as hell. It's a shame Twisted Tiki doesn't get better bands there. With the colder months coming, lot of people would rather be inside watching a band than out. The owner should do some research on which bands play at Toasted Monkey, Ka'Tiki, Ricky T's, Salt Water Hippie, 3 Daughters, Fergs, Caged etc. Besides being able to watch good bands inside, good bands have a fan base that follow them bringing in more business. Twisted Tiki does have excellent staff that could handle the extra workload. The best part of Twisted Tiki is Nicole and Tonya. I never had to wait, they always ensured my drinks were full. I'll keep going back for the great service and keep wishing for better bands.

The tropical drinks were cold, inexpensive, and delicious. The service was fast. The bathrooms clean, and the live music was pretty good! I'm taking one star off because this is only marginally a "Tiki Bar" based on a few tropical drinks and some minor design elements. My wife and I go to Tiki bars across the entire country. If you are into Tiki culture and are looking for that kind of esthetic, this falls short, but it's still a very good local bar with good drinks and service! We did not eat here, so food is not included in my review.

We tried the crab & cream cheese eggrolls with a sweet chilli sauce. They were very delicious and I would return again for another order of those alone. Our cocktails were good. The service was decent and very friendly with a relaxed, fun bar atmosphere. Great place to grab a snack and some refreshment. Not overly noisey and crowded. Charming bar with a thatched roof decor surrounding the bar. I will return here next time I'm at the Corey Street craft market on Sundays.

Bartenders were great, very friendly. The food was okay, but $15 for 8 small chicken wings and 4 small celery sticks was a bit pricey. Will go back to enjoy atmosphere and have a drink.

Been here few times. Food is good for the price but also nothing to write home about. I like that they always have a few drink specials and a constantly changing menu page of food specials. Service was very attentive and friendly every time I've been here. In my opinion that goes a long way in a tourist town where many people they are likely to never see again.

Well, I have mixed feelings about this place. First of all, the bartenders are very nice and make a good drink. The prices are very reasonable for the area. My only issue is/was the DJ. Don’t know if he’s permanent or was just hired for 80s night. My sister and I never get to spend much time together, so I took off work because we thought it would be fun. Wrong! The DJ clearly didn’t have a clue about 80s music. A bar full of women and he couldn’t get them on the dance floor except for the Cupid Shuffle... yeah, that’s 80s...NOT! So, after only 2 drinks, we left. We’d planned on taking Lyft home, thinking we’d be drinking and dancing all night. We drove home. It’s probably the cheapest night we ever had out together.

Have to add to my previous review. My friend and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The holiday decorations were fun and festive. The atmosphere friendly. I enjoyed a rum eggnog garnished with jimmies and a candy cane which was decadently delicious (thanks Amy). The Ahi tuna with seaweed with all the tasty accompaniments was a bit tough but did not disappoint. Will definitely order again. My friend ordered the Pineapple Express. What a dish. It's half of a fresh pineapple stuffed with chicken Teriyaki and rice topped with pineapple chunks and sesame seed. Both entrees were truly delicious. The music being played by the customers was so good that we stayed for another drink just to enjoy the day with fun loving folks. The friendly establishment on Corey Ave is a perfect location. After a fun time and good food we we were able to shop the numerous local businesses. Free street parking availability.

We went Thurs night for karaoke. The drinks were good and the karaoke DJ was fun. Service was a little slow, but the staff were friendly.

3/1/25 the band was great. It was packed almost had to turn around since not a lot of extra tables and some reserved but then we found one so stayed. The kitchen took a bit to finish food, luckily not in a huge rush and it was good.

Nice restaurant and bar. Decent drink prices. The wings were cooked perfectly but the sauce game is lacking. XXX, their hottest is like medium in most other locations and just lacking in flavor. The blue cheese was thick and pretty good. 8 wings for $15. Skip the wings.

I really love this place. Great vibe. Great food. Sunday build your own Bloody awesome. BUT. I'm giving fewer stars overall for one reason I've really thought hard and talked to others before posting this. It's dog friendly. No problem. Keep your dog on a leash, by your side. No worries. BUT I'm ALLERGIC. Can tolerate your dog at a distance. No worries. Your dog approaches, I'm not afraid. I'm ALLERGIC. Dogs love to sniff and lick. I am more allergic to saliva than fur. Hives will rise within 5 minutes. If I cannot wash it off, my bronchial tubes will begin to close. It will become difficult to take a deep breath. My eyes and sinuses will fill with fluid, becoming uncomfortable and my contact lenses will dry out. I will begin to wheeze as I breathe. I will take a benadryl, then use a rescue inhaler to relieve my pain. It will feel like I've had a round with Mike Tyson punching my chest next day. So much fun. But at least I will be breathing freely again. Please do not take your dog and let it run free. This little friendly dude just wanted to play. Had his stick in his mouth wanting to play. I can't play. I said LOUDLY get this dog away from me. Went to the restroom. Came out. Same dog approaches again. Wants to play. I have to yell out again GET THE DOG I'M ALLERGIC. SOMEONE PLEASE!!! Finally got a response. I just want to say. If someone tells you that they are allergic to your pet. PLEASE listen. You won't suffer like that person will. Keep your fur babies under total control. PLEASE.

Cool place and love hanging out here, but warning to anyone that uses their credit card or debit card there. New bartender has been known to add extra tips to customer bills. Not sure I can go back knowing they hired someone that cheats their customers.

During Corey Ave Arts & Crafts Show, we decided to have a drink. Three PBRs and a delightfully tasty Bloody Mary made for a nice start to a Sunday Funday. We were there at their early opening for the event and ordered our drinks and enjoyed them at the sidewalk tables. The first bartender who took the order was abrupt and harried. She came outside to see if we were interested in a second round and was then very pleasant. The menu looked good with a nice variety of items which we look forward to trying the next time we stop in. Twisted Tiki is inviting. There is outside seating, a dining area divided by a short divider, sofa and chairs to relax in and a huge U-shaped bar. The bar is full service. On a normal day there is free on-street parking. Three star rating because I've not ordered food yet. Will go back soon and update my review.

The place itself has a good atmosphere; the customers were really friendly..I will warn you right up front; this is not the place to come, if a night out with Cocktails, is what you have in mind. Not nearly as Bad as the *Hut* in Johns Pass; but " Nothing" can get worse than that place. The food may be Ok,,but I wont be blowing an entire paycheck to find out. The drinks were VERY EXPENSIVE; especially when you consider they serve "Tiki drinks" in a small plastic cup, packed with ice; and the "Barmaid" forgetting there was suppose to be alcohol in that Juice mix.. I read a comment from the owner, they make their Tiki Drinks from "scratch" 😆 Must have been a Politician before a Bar owner, to claim that ! I'm pretty sure if took a breathalizer test, after a few hours of being there; I would still blow a .00 on the way out the door. I am not a frequent drinker, I make special nights out, just to try out new places. Being a longtime local; I want to have good places to suggest to family and friends when we all get together; or someone is in town.. How Well those drinks are made; and How friendly the Bartender comes across; is much more important than the atmosphere; because there are literally thousands of really nice bars in Tampa Bay...It is the deciding factor on whether it was a one time stop; or becomes a regular stop on our Adventures.. I do not want to spend a fortune, to come home just as sober as when I left..I left far too generous a tip.. So this place Scored "Very Low", on my return and recommend list.. I won't be going back ..

Would have loved to eat in here but they decided to close the kitchen early. Staff not understanding or friendly. Will not try to go again. Super disappointed.

Walking in the experience is ok. However I became violently ill after eating here. I experienced severe abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea. I was sick and in pain majority of the night. We tried calling that night and no answer. My sister called in the AM and asked for a manager and someone answered and said "I can be the manager" later on in the combative and accusatory conversation we found out he was a cook. Denny stated that it could've something else. However we had been traveling all day and hadn't eaten. We simply asked a refund on the food that I consumed. Denny stated he'd take our cash app and let his boss know. Denny continued to state what Google says etc. As a nurse for the last 12yrs I can tell you for a fact I was ill either due to cross contamination or rancid meat. My sister who has been a restaurant manager, line and prep cook for the last 10yrs agrees. We simply asked for decent costumer service and was met with combative and accusatory behavior from someone who was not even a manager. In my opinion think twice before ordering the sliders or you may end up violently ill.

While the atmosphere was great (courtesy of the band playing) the service was awful. For being a beach spot you would think the bartenders would be more equipped to handle high volume, they were sweating, running around and ignoring me and after a long wait i was met with rudeness. i don’t recommend hanging out here, but i do recommend they hire better stuff.

Music Bandingo guy is BOGUS! SO RUDE SO NASTY 🤮 Edit to reply: more so to the fact that he was rude a month ago when the hostess of the party inquired about a reservation during Bandingo, and the profanities he was using his entire set. There were children there. Victor left immediately when asked to do so without incident.

My daughter Nicole left a review about her 30th birthday party here at this unfortunate establishment. Kim, the owner of Twisted Tiki, decided to rebuttal, so as we all know there are three sides to a story, her side, her side and the truth. All I will say is… Do not have a party here and let KIM decorate for you!!! Decorations were just awful! I offered to do it myself but Kim said “Trust me I do this all the time”…In this picture is an example of a backdrop that was used and she had it 4 feet off the floor. Who does that? The backdrop was 8 feet tall. I didn’t wanna see her outdated wallpaper underneath our backdrop. I told her the most important thing was having lots of balloons, there were maybe 20. The woman has no eye for Decor at all!!!!!!! Plus, she said (in her rebuttal) she came in on her day off to do our decorations Am I to feel sorry for her that she showed up on her day off when she owns the business? How accommodating 🫩 seriously? My daughter was not an hour late we asked her to come after 7 o’clock to make sure everybody was there. She was there by 7:15. As far as Nikki’s boyfriend, YES! he was very drunk and he very much acted out of hand and we are very sorry that that situation happened. We would have apologized to the table and the DJ “JONNY B” 🥱 had he not kept going on and on and disrupting the whole night intermittently about this, calling us out even after her boyfriend left (without incident, I might add)…He was never charged or even spoken to about this situation. But as the cops said, Twisted Tiki & Jonny B took it out of context due to the fact that the DJ was encouraging people to throw things at him for fun, AT A BAR!!! Nikki‘s boyfriend doesn’t drink very much so this hit him hard and he SCREWED UP, but had the DJ just shut up about it (once his statement was given to the cops) this review would never even been considered, but him and his 10 followers, who were drunk also that night I might add, made it to the point where we left early and we DID pay for everything!!! When we asked the waitress, if this was the final bill, she said yes! Police reports are public record. September 3, 2025!!!

Worst experience ever. My family threw a birthday party for me here and the DJ who was hosting music bingo was very rude and was very dramatic and was not a good host. Be warned. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom

Invited friends to come out here Fred and Jennifer they were great excellent music an entertainment that were there the owner Kim told the band that they would only get half of what they were promised must wonder if this has happened before at that bar we spent over $100 and was very and so disappointed that she didn't pay the band what they were supposed to be getting so I'm just wondering if this has happened before what they were promised I sincerely hope Kim does not do this on a regular basis by shorting musicians entertainment if so I hope everyone speaks out to this ever played for her or entertained her guests so what is understandable she doesn't have a lot of customers please respond if other bands have not been paid as promised thank you very much Merry Christmas I would definitely give Kim a bag of coal for Christmas

My husband went in and used the restroom. Before he sat down, he was reprimanded by a woman worker that said the restrooms are for paying customers. We will not be giving you our business today or in the future. Just be nice! In reply to your response, if you weren’t open yet, why were your doors opened? Why didn’t someone tell him you weren’t open? Did the person need to be rude? I was at the market shopping and I was going to meet him there when I was done for lunch and drinks. Could it be he didn’t want a drink after you made him feel uncomfortable? I feel it could have been handled much better on your end.
