We will definitely be back! Our dinner was so good. We got the shared 24 oz Rib Eye with tallow fries and a salad. It was tasty, fresh and healthy. They have a nice wine selection too. Chris, our waiter was attentive, accommodating, friendly and made a difference on our experience.
Just exceptional. When I think of real hospitality, and the type of place I want to share a meal with friends or loved ones, Tierra is the first place that comes to mind. I feel very fortunate to live so close. From the moment you walk in…warm greetings from everyone. They’ve done an incredible job transforming the space and it’s just a really great vibe for all occasions. The empanadas can’t be beat, the steaks are some of the best in OC, everything cooked over a real wood fire, it’s just an incredible experience that I can’t recommend enough. Perfect spot for a date, dinner with the fam or really any celebration. Skip the overpriced nonsense in Newport and Laguna and give Tierra a shot, promise you won’t be disappointed.
Food was good, fish and meats were a little bit overcooked. Vegetables were cooked very good 😊 Deserts were amazing 🤩. Chocolate mousse, crepes were super delicious 😋.
I love visiting new local restaurants. Came here for Sunday lunch, outdoor seating was nice and cozy, clean. The service was pretty slow but the food will make up for it. I got a gnocchi, it was my first time to get gnocchi from the restaurant and it was very delicious. My bf got a sausage plate, all the veggies were well cooked, herby. It was good and fun experience :)
This place is amazing. Eating out used to be an experience; the smells, the taste, the ambiance, the enjoying of being family and friends. This place has that same vibe. The owners (husband and wife) are the nicest people. The staff was super welcoming and informative. This place is a most go! Here are photos of the Ribeye stake and beef short ribs. The french fries are the way to go....cooked in beef tallow.
What a great neighborhood gem restaurant. The food is amazing and there is something for everyone. Fantastic wine selection (wine & beer only), perfect for a date night or a family outing. Check it out, won’t be disappointed.
Loved everything about our experience. Attentive, warm. Staff, amazing food and a beautiful space. We celebrated with a big party and the service was outstanding . The sommelier did an amazing job pairing wine with the food, teaching us about new wines at great price points. Highly recommend this new restaurant that is owned by a local family!
The smell of the wood fire grill coming in, to good and friendly servers coupled with delicious food exceeded our expectations! Started with the chimichuri bread, with cappuccino, entree Lamb chops finished with a delicious chocolate mouse was a great dining experience! Highly recommend 👌
Wood fired grill is evident in all dishes, as is the authentic Argentinian roots of the owner/chef. Simple dishes like edamame are elevated with the smoky flavor. Our group of 7 had lamb, pork chop, salmon, and kid burgers. The lamb was the highlight of the table, but all dishes were delicious with no leftovers. My pork chop was topped with a delicious homemade chutney. Start with the chimichurri bread and some Malbec.
I love this place! The owner and the staff are super friendly and they are actually from Argentina so they represent the Argentinian culture with passion and authenticity. Everything was delicious ❤️🔥
We have never had a “real restaurant“ in this neighborhood! This place is fantastic great atmosphere perfect for date night. The food is off the hook incredible.
This was my first tine in this new restaurant conveniently located in a nice shopping center a few minutes from the freeway. Since I wanted a simple and light lunch I’ve ordered a “choripan”, which is a typical and popular Argentinean sandwich, accompanied with flavorful “ChimiChurri” sauce and French fries. The enclosed patio sitting area is perfect to be able to enjoy an outdoor dining experience. The owners and servers were nice, polite and paid attention to details. The ambiance is nice, open, and plenty of natural light. I am looking forward to visit this place again to try other items from their extensive menu.
After a hike in Laguna, my friend and I decided to try Tierra de Fuegos and we were blown away. The staff were fast, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The picanha was perfectly grilled, tender, and full of flavor. And the empanadas? Absolutely delicious—crispy, savory, and authentic. You can taste the quality and passion behind every dish, truly brings a slice of Argentina to Orange County. Highly recommend!
Great food! Enjoyed the salmon and a steak entrees. Both were amazing. We also shared a salad, grilled edamame and the banana crepes. The spritzer drink was also very refreshing! Definitely try this new restaurant! It’s fantastic!
The food was incredible. Seasoned to perfection. Creative. Cozy upscale ambience. The nicest staff who go out of their way to please. My husband raved about the lamb chop and the salmon was delicious. The wood fire smoke comes through brilliantly. Laguna Niguel is lucky to get the incredible Chef Maro and his beautiful wife Patricia! Run to this place as fast as you can and get it into your weekly rotation. Tell everyone you know and get the word out!
We recently hosted a large party of 36 here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. What a wonderful experience. Patricia and her team were fabulous! The food was delicious and our guests were very impressed. The steaks are a real delight as their main focus but if you want seafood, the salmon was perfection. Chase, Chris and all the servers were fantastic. I highly recommend Tierra de Fuegos! Thank you for a wonderful night!
Walked in and wasn’t expecting much but wow I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food was! Got a burger and fries and it was so unique and delicious. The garlic fries were the best fries I have ever had. We also tried the lamb and empanadas which were top notch dishes as well. Hope to be back soon.
Coming from someone who was raised by an Argentinian, I loved our first time at Tierra de Fuegos. The atmosphere was beautiful on the patio and I liked that I could look into the kitchen and see the Santa Maria grill and the pizza oven. The food was fantastic - loved the provoleta (felt like I was back in Argentina!), short ribs, and such delicious chimichurri (I consider myself a chimi snob too)! The desserts were absolute perfection - the flan is a must! They have delicious Argentinian wines to try as well! We will definitely be coming back and are so happy to have found another great local spot!
Came here for dinner, it feels inviting as we walked in and nicely decorated and clean. Ordered beef empanadas and it was really flavorful. Entree was Grilled Octopus, they had too much carbs on the plate and only one tentacle (reason for 4 stars) but it was delicious. Another entree was Picaña steak with chimichuru sauce, it was cooked perfectly and the charred curves was really yummy. The staff were friendly and attentive. Reservation is recommended.
The service was absolutely amazing! Our waiter was very attentive, made great suggestions, explained the menu thoroughly & was very funny! Everything was great but our steaks were ordered, my friend and I got the same steak and it was quite tough and hard to cut through . I think maybe it was the kind of cut … but the filet mignon did cut very nicely and smooth. Vegetables were perfect! And the potatoes they boil and then bake .. delicious!!! ♥️
